In diesem eher unregelmäßigen Format stelle ich Künstler und deren Werke vor die sich in dem sehr weiten Feld der Filmmusik bewegen. Der Bogen spannt sich vom regulären Soundtrack bis zu davon inspirierten Projekten die sich vom Visuellen Medium Film längst abgekoppelt haben und eigenständig das sogenannte "Kopfkino" oder ein Gefühl erzeugen, dass einem, oder besser gesagt mich, an bestimmte Filme aus meiner Kindheit, Jugend und der Gegenwart erinnern. Während der Reise durch den "Kinematografischen Klangraum" werde ich sowohl auf deutsche als auch auf internationale Künstler und Gruppierungen treffen, diese Vorstellen und vielleicht das eine oder andere Gespräch führen. Die Liste der möglichen Kandidaten wächst vorwährend weiter und beinhaltet Namen wie Zoltan The Band, Calibro 35, Compilerbau aus Bremen oder auch der italophile Hamburger Friedrich Paravicini. Und so schön das auch für einige klingen mag, so ist diese Rubrik auch ein Unterfangen das einige Hürden zu nehmen hat, am ehesten die Rechtliche. Denn ich gebe zu bedenken, dass diese Rubrik und Vorstellung, steht und fällt mit der nötigen Genehmigung der Künstler diverse Musik-Stücke in den Pod einzubauen. Zum anderen verschlingt eine Aufarbeitung, Übersetzung und Transkription von fremdsprachigen Interviews immer wieder Zeit und den einen oder anderen Euro. Deshalb werde ich die ganze Sache eher ruhig angehen und im verantwortbaren Rahmen bleiben. Das soweit zur Einführung. Compilerbau ist eine komplexe Materie aber auch keine Magie. Andererseits ist es ein Feld, in dem in letzter Zeit wieder eine Menge Bewegung gekommen ist, teilweise ausgelöst durch neue Erkenntnisse, teilweise durch den hohen Bedarf an schnellen, dynamischen Programmiersprachen im Web. Hannes Mehnert erarbeitet gerade seine Diplomarbeit in diesem Themenfeld mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Optimierung und Typtheorie und erläutert im Gespräch mit Tim Pritlove die Hintergründe dieser Ansätze und gibt einen Überblick über weitgehend unbekanntes Terrain.
