Ken Marx (Kenn Scott) and his mom move to a new town so she can find work, but it is immediately apparent that Ken is the odd man out at his new school. After talking to local blonde girl Julie (Christine Taylor), her local jerkweed boyfriend Tom (Duluth's own Ken McLoed) takes exception to Ken's philandering and warns him to stay away. It isn't all bad though as Ken is befriended by local weiner Mike (John Asher), who helps Ken navigate the ways of wherever this takes place. Soon enough, however, Tom makes good on his threats, but is thwarted by local ex-cop turned janitor Billy (Billy Blanks) who beats the shit out of Tom and his stooge Rob (Michael Cavelieri), who just so happen to be martial arts students of local shitbag Lee (Patrick Kilpatrick), who's younger D Bag brother was accidentally killed by Billy. Now Billy must train Ken so he can himself beat Tom's ass to claim Julie as his betrothed, while Billy must face his past and atone for his sins in the ultimate Showdown.

Hey, Everyone! On this episode of “Podcast in Death,” we are reviewing the reviews of “Calculated in Death.” To no-one’s surprise, there are tons of “ghostwriter” accusations, and so many people complaining about how boring this book was. We go off on a little rant when an “author” who gave Nora a 1-Star review a few books ago comes back to give another 1-Star review. Among other bad reviews, we have: Weak, trite writing. Ridiculous amount of swearing. Even more vacuous than usual. This book is like overcooked oatmeal…bland, sort of mushy and hard to swallow. …one of the worst books in the series, it was sloppy and lazy. On the other hand, we have a lot of good reviews too: I enjoy Roarke’s playful, flirty, platonic banter with Peabody …as always, a fun one. Susan Ericksen again narrated this so well. Loved how she does the voice of Peabody. It really was a day at the beach read. A warm fuzzy on a cold day. Time spent with people you love.

Jarred and Kyle are back to go over more of the internet's weirdest and funniest news stories. This week the guys start with a complete misunderstanding and end on a violent story that they don't know how to feel about. From UK people using weird words and making us think there is a war on birds with medieval weapons to a CO man "allegedly" biting off a cop's finger and all our thoughts on how it's alleged. Stories this week include: In the UK Swans are under attack in a Swan Sanctuary, now 4 swans are dead and the method of death is a catapult. As two schmucks from America when we hear catapult we think medieval siege engines! Apparently, that's not what the UK thinks of when they hear catapults they think a freaking slingshot. We were disappointed with the twist but that didn't stop us from coming up with a slew of alternate theories of how 'swan attacks can leave 4 dead by catapult'. In CO a man is in trouble for "allegedly" biting off a cop's finger, we didn't read any of the article before immediately building an elaborate tale of a young partner's hatred for his old backward-thinking partner with a penchant for unnecessary violence. In a world where you are that hated by your partner who truly would believe you didn't cut off your own finger? In the end, we discovered more but not enough info and have a few theories: 1: The guy really was a D-Bag and bit off the cop's finger 2: He was attacked by ninjas 3: he was possessed by a ghost like from the movie Fallen 4: This cop sucks and he cut off his own finger by uppercutting the man and hammer-fisting while his finger was in his mouth 5: The cop is entrapping this man and cut off his finger to sell it 6: It's meth!
