Let us explain. No, there is too much. Let us sum up the last episode of this run of “Doctor Who.” Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.
The end is near. Has the moment been prepared for? We make a wish and discuss Wish Babies and how they relate to Space Babies, the importance of vibes, the proper use of The Rani, and the rest of this episode. Onward to the (grand?) finale! Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.
This week Eurovision meets Doctor Who as the Doctor and Belinda steal the luxury box of our new favorite couple, Gary and Mike, and stumble into a scheme to avenge a planetary crime with a galaxy-spanning crime. Also: some surprise guest characters appear who are never, ever supposed to appear, but somehow have! And we gird ourselves for the inevitable RTD Finale Fireworks. Jason Snell and Erika Ensign.
A barbership in Lagos! A robot spider in a web of storytelling! Ancient gods watching Marvel movies! A surprise cameo, a deep-cut cameo, and an entirely unsurprising cameo! We break down writer Inua Ellams’s “Doctor Who” debut. Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.
Grab a penny, pick it up, and all day long you’ll have good luck. This episode hit us like a bad penny, though, and the more we think about it the more we’re bothered. We lament the lack of Doctor and Belinda, but welcome back Ruby Sunday and her family. And just remember: podcasters are the real villains. Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.
Jason, Chip and Erika break down “The Well,” in which Russell T Davies (and his co-writer Sharma Angel-Walfall) decided to play the hits and serve up what “Doctor Who” does best. It’s a base on an alien planet that’s been out of contact for days. (Nuking the site from orbit is the only way to be sure, right?) Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.
Time for an animated discussion about old cartoons, two-dimensional characters, American accents, metafictional wall-breaking, and lots more about this week’s episode, “Lux.” Also, Jason places a $5 bet on an extremely wacky theory involving Mrs. Flood. Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.
“Doctor Who” is back, and you know what that means: Russell T Davies has once again built a story designed to re-introduce the show and introduce a new companion. Oh, and also this podcast has returned! We discuss Miss Belinda Chandra in all her forms—all hail the queen. Chip Sudderth and Jason Snell with Annette Wierstra.

Surprisingly not a vehicle for a single guest star, this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special features a Time Hotel, Dinosaur shenanigans, Thanos glitter, a bootstrap paradox with a lantern firmly attached, and a stunning ten minutes where the Doctor does time at a non-time hotel. Oh, and yeah, a really famous star is introduced. Chip and Jason break it all down. Happy Christmas to all! Jason Snell and Chip Sudderth.
We wrap up this first Disney+/BBC season by accentuating the positive where we can find it, before finally giving in and explaining all the ways this episode failed. Perhaps things will be better at Christmas. We’ll see you then! Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.

The roguish Jonathan Groff appears amid an extended riff on “Bridgerton.” Jason recommends a different Netflix series. Erika gives this episode a very high rating. Chip wonders about the metatextuality of it all. Was this episode for the cosplaying birds? Or could we not get it out of our heads? Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.

Did you enjoy the work? Afterward, did you spend time thinking about what it meant? When you start to analyze it, does it offer several interesting interpretations? Does the intent of the author inform, or is it irrelevant? We’re talking about art in general, and this week’s episode of “Doctor Who” in particular. Jason Snell and Chip Sudderth.
A spooky story told around a campfire, involving the adventures of Ruby Sunday and the mystery of the woman standing 66.66666667 meters away from her at all times. Vibes! We’re here for the vibes. Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.
Former showrunner Steven Moffat joins the new-new-series party with an episode set almost entirely in a bomb crater. The Doctor can’t move, and can’t emote too much, but he can still attempt to control the world around him. We talk about Moffat’s return, the importance of getting Ruby up to speed as a companion, and much more! Jason Snell, Erika Ensign and Chip Sudderth.
Jinkx Monsoon stars in an episode where an otherworldly force beyond the Doctor’s abilities manages to steal all music and potentially set off a human apocalypse. Oh, also the Beatles are there—but they don’t really matter. And there’s a musical number at the end—but it doesn’t really matter, either. These are the problems. Erika Ensign and Jason Snell.
“Doctor Who” regnerates for a whole new first season on Disney+. Russell T Davies has a plan to welcome new audiences, but do his showrunner machinations balance out with the narrative elements of this episode? Chip and Jason consider what RTD’s up to, why he’s doing it, what works, and what doesn’t. Chip Sudderth and Jason Snell.

In this episode, we explore five essential tips to maximize attendance in group visits, addressing the challenges faced by many healthcare professionals. The significance of group visits becomes evident when we recognize the limitations of scaling one-on-one patient care. Dr. Lara Salyer, your host, shares valuable insights on how to make these visits more effective and impactful. First, set realistic expectations, emphasizing the significance of group visits as part of the treatment plan. Secondly, utilize reminders with specific topics to increase attendance and create a safe environment for participants. Thirdly, gather valuable feedback by polling patients and the community to understand their needs and preferences. Fourthly, mind your language and use inviting terms to describe group visits. Finally, consider open or closed enrollment options, offering flexibility or fostering a sense of community. By implementing these tips, healthcare professionals can enhance group visit effectiveness and promote better patient outcomes and community engagement. By implementing these five tips, healthcare professionals can enhance attendance and effectiveness in group visits, thereby fostering better patient outcomes and community engagement. Remember, group visits offer valuable opportunities for patients to connect, learn from one another, and receive support throughout their healing journey. Quotes • "Functional, holistic, integrative medicine is simply not scalable. The math does not work. You can't serve your patients or population one-on-one. We don't have enough physicians, providers, practitioners. We need to be clever and innovative with growing this kind of education and lifestyle support." (Dr. Lara Salyer | 01:30) • "Group visits are a key part of this. Group visits help patients see they're not alone. They help patients learn from other patients. They also help promote your services because as you have newer people in the fold, you might have people that have been through your methods or systems that reassure and tell those newer people, Hey, I've been there too." (Dr. Lara Salyer | 03:20) • "Reminding your patients with a topic can really help increase that attendance and help them get used to what is going on." (Dr. Lara Salyer | 05:47) • "Tip one was set expectations. Tip two, remind them. Tip three, pull your members. Tip four, look at the words you're using when you're describing these groups." “If you start to make that unconscious conscious, it becomes easier for you to captivate that awareness in your life and make decisions that do align with what matters to you,” explains host Dr. Lara Salyer. In today's special FlashCast episode, Dr. Lara shares what it means to make the unconscious conscious through taking a look at the book The Science of Stuck by Britt Frank. In The Science of Stuck, Britt explores in depth the meaning behind Carl Jung's famous quote, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate”. If you take the time to really unpack that quote, it is pointing out the importance of awareness and self development for catalyzing your own destiny. If you never really get to know yourself on a deeper level, you will not be able to align your life with your values. When you feel yourself leaning into procrastination, gossip, resentment, guilt, or envy, take a moment to analyze what is causing those feelings. For example, if you are craving gossip, that could be due to having an underlying desire for human connection. When you make the unconscious conscious, you can then better align your life with what matters to you the most. Your subconscious mind is giving you signals all the time and when you learn how to recognize them, you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Quotes • “If you feel resentment, that's telling you that you need more boundaries.” (3:31-3:37 | Dr. Lara) • “If you start to make that unconscious conscious, it becomes easier for you to captivate that awareness in your life and make decisions that do align with what matters to you.” (6:13-6:26 | Dr. Lara) • “There is something about clearing that cache in your brain and getting it out, making that unconscious conscious, that will impact how you show up.” (8:08-8:17 | Dr. Lara) Links Quiz: https://3nb09zv7070.typeform.com/to/r0OoKwkS Amazon store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/drlarasalyer Connect with Lara: Website: https://drlarasalyer.com Instagram: @drlarasalyer Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/drlarasalyer Linked-In: https://www.linkedin.com/in/drlarasalyer/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/DrLaraSalyer TikTok: @Creativity.Doctor Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm
It's that time of the year again, when Apple drops mad-crazy-awesome-sauce updates on us. We're used to iterative updates that make our lives better. This year we also have new products to manage. No word on whether there will be any management of Vision OS - but we'll soon be managing Apple Watches. Because see, these are all computers - just like the Vision Pro. In today's episode we'll spend far more time talking about hardware, software, and management options. But in the meantime, let's remind everyone that We often see the first release of Apple products as a bit less than. They can come in more expensive than other products in a given category. Like the iPhone and iPod, it will endure its share of ridicule for its high price and derivative functionality, people will complain about its design and point out its deficiencies. But in a year or five, the rest of the world will catch up to Apple's vision.
