More well received, but not in any way spectacular was All Japan's Summer Action Wars event from Fukuoka. That doesn't stop STRIGGA & Dylan from being excited for the immediate future of the entire roster and its unique characters as well as for the upcoming Oudou tournament. A former Triple Crown Champion was called out by the new KO-D Openweight Champion Shinya Aoki and the Lariat crew wonders if Katsuhiko Nakajima is really gonna wind up in DDT. Another former Triple Crown Champion wound up in NJPW in Jake Lee, which is the final talking point of a show that looks across the scene to find positives during a down time in japanese pro-wrestling,

This week, Steven and Jeremy discussed the G1 Climax tournament as it moves just past its halfway point. EVIL leads the field in the A Block, but the guys are skeptical that will continue. They discussed each participant in the tournament and their chances of advancing to the playoffs. They also wondered if Jake Lee will stay with the War Dogs, if Gabe Kidd will be turning babyface, and if Shota Umino is due for a late surge to take him to the knockout round with Zack Sabre Jr. They also looked at the logjam in B Block, and how matches involving David Finlay, Jeff Cobb, Konosuke Takeshita, Yota Tsuji and HENARE make for a fascinating home stretch for the tournament. They also wondered about Hirooki Goto's role as the "old guard" representative, and what the future holds for El Phantasmo.

On today's highly requested episode, I am so excited to connect my passion for faith with my passion for running! I have Jake Lee as a guest, who ran collegiately for the University of Michigan, is an experienced marathoner, coached me for my first marathon, and is a devout Christian! We first discuss Jakes's story of how he became a runner and dealt with setbacks and hardships. Then, we discuss the connections between faith and sport. We have meaningful conversations addressing questions such as "How do I honor God through running?" and "How do I put my trust in Him while I run?" This is a great conversation, and if you are trying to navigate the relationship between faith and running, have questions about this topic, or simply want to learn more, this episode is for you!
