Human value story on right attitude. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then, with a shock, we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do it much differently.http://saibalsanskaar.wordpress.com

The speaker discusses the concept of a 'sleeping church', characterized by complacency, self-satisfaction, and untapped potential. Drawing references from the Bible, the speaker emphasizes the importance of believers fully devoting themselves to Christ and not only focusing on their own salvation. The speaker encourages believers to be proactive, to care for the souls of others, and to strive to bring others to Christ, warning against the dangers of being part of a 'sleeping church'. The sermon concludes by encouraging the attendees to join a local church, actively participate in church activities, and share the teachings of Christ with others. 00:00 Introduction and Encouragement 00:38 The Call to Give Your Best to the Master 01:23 Characteristics of a Sleeping Church 02:56 The Danger of Complacency and Indifference 03:46 The Story of the Good Samaritan: A Lesson in Compassion 05:47 The Principle of Hard Work and Sacrifice 08:46 The Call to Wake Up and Serve 09:29 Closing Remarks and Invitation to Join the Church 10:10 Preview of the Next Series: Fearing God 10:25 Closing Prayer and Contact Information --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gnbc/message

Psalm 1:1-6 1 Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. 2 But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. 3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. 4 But not the wicked! They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. 5They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. 6 For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

This is our time. Nehemiah and the people had their day and their time, and now this is our day and our time. God has called us to do something great for Him – to build His Church. God's Church will outlast us and impact future generations to come for the glory of God. May we live every day as His people, and may we give our best for His glory. This calls for 100% participation. Not equal gifts, but equal sacrifice. May we recognize God's goodness and grace in our life, and follow Him with all our heart. As we come to our Commitment Sunday on November 12, may the joy of the Lord be our strength. Let's give God our best!

At the end of the day do you look back and ask yourself if you really gave your best effort today? If not, you're with the majority of people. Many people will plan out their days, make a checklist, maybe even set an intention; but at the end of the day most do no look back and reflect on their day. Look at what they did well and how they can improve. The only way to improve, to get better and become your best is with reflection.Ask yourself, "Did I give my best effort today?"If the answer is yes...awesome! How can you do even better tomorrow? If the answer is no...cool! You have tomorrow to improve - what can you do?www.allyoumama.comIG -@MeghanQBarrett

Have you noticed that many times doing your best isn't enough? I've been in those situations many times. I tried my best, but it was not working - it was just not enough. Seems familiar? Well, then I have another even more familiar thing. These experiences easily run a program all the women have - that WE are not enough. Which always turns into an awful downward spiral… I haven't met a woman who doesn't run a not-enough program, have you? That's why I start thinking about what inner game we should apply to solve or at least overcome the situation when our best is not good enough. Is there something we do wrong all the time? Is there anything we could change to get a different result? And I found a solution! The one that works every single time (plus, it's super simple).Just stop doing your best. Yes, you've read well - stop doing your best. But if we stop making efforts, we won't achieve our goal either - I almost hear you telling me this. But I didn't say, Stop making efforts. I just said, Stop doing your best. And then what? Tune in for this episode of the Prosperity Approach as I'm sharing what strategy you should apply to change your whole world (and how to do it).Let's dive in!Key Takeaways:- Intro (00:00)- Why do we no longer have to do our best?
