So, there I was.. in a hotel room with some damn trucker, when I got his attention after sticking my custom blue, Andre the Giant dildo to the Mirror. Then.. oh, I didn't see you all there! I'll have to continue that conversation with my friend after we discuss this next episode. In this thrilling audible awfulness, our tingling Trio discuss things that are... Halloweeny. (From what I heard, by credible sources, this Halloween themed episode was suggested by Sam a few times in the past, and was rejected by his co-whoret Jason until now that is has been suggested by the proper set of breasts, and understandably so). The boys are again joined by Madam M and they discuss movies, urban legends, and monsters. This show is sure to get the hairs on the back of your neck to stand up, just as sure as Madam M's haunting hooters got the boy's scared stiff. They wanted to give her the willies, but what she saw was more saddening than frightening. Oh, and if this was not enough to make you listen, The Duchess calls in to make this a proper foursome. It's the final week of October, which means we're days away from All Hallows' Eve. The Halloweenies keep their favorite October tradition going! Last year, Michael Roffman and Dan Caffrey ventured to the Haddonfield Public Library to read Dennis Etchison/Jack Martin's 1981 novelization for Halloween II. Now, they pick up where Etchison/Martin left off with 1982's novelization for Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Together, they discuss the dreamy digressions, the timeless political themes wedged into the pages, the depiction of Challis, and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. We're digging way into the archives this week for one of Empire's semi-lost treasures: the anthology film PULSE POUNDERS! Shot in 1987, the film was intended to be a package of three short films, two of which would mark the first returns to previous Empire favorites; sadly, when the company went under, the unfinished 35MM print was destroyed, and the film was thought lost until 2011, when VHS prints of two of the segments (TRANCERS: CITY OF ANGELS and THE EVIL CLERGYMAN) were discovered and re-released in an admittedly rough form. We're joined by the great Rachel Reeves of the HALLOWEENIES and LOSER'S CLUB podcasts! I know, I know: This episode's late. Funny enough, it's just been sitting there for a week, but your Halloweenies were busy with a spooky wedding on Clint's ranch this past week. Alas, we're back with the much-anticipated Coming Soon & Now Showing, our newly minted series that combines the headlines of Steve Christy's Bulletin Board with the capsule reviews of Now Showing to cover the gamut of the latest and greatest in Horror media. Today, Mac and Mike discuss Halloween: The Game, Scary Movie 6, the Alien: Romulus sequel, and -- once again -- Noah Hawley's Alien Earth. The two then discuss a pair of new films (I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Conjuring: Last Rites) and two oldies (Devil's Pass, Night of the Scarecrow). Enjoy!
