Is Yeshua of Nazareth the one who was to come, or should we expect another? This second teaching in the series titled THE TWO SISTERS reveals the origin of the concept of two Messiahs in the rivalry between Rachel and Leah and the tears of Rachel, weeping for her children.
I AM Yeshua from Part One: The Sacred Heart Transmissions ✨ Pages 23 - 33In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we learn about Yeshua — who he is and how he is there to work with us as we move thorough the transmissions. Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________I like to think of this chapter as a meet and greet with Yeshua. He introduces himself to us, and then also shares a bit about to expect as we move through The Freedom Transmissions. So, who IS Yeshua?Well, as He explains, He is Peace, He is your peace, the Essence of your Be-ing.When we choose peace, we choose our true selves. So here, Yeshua is telling us that through the process of going through these transmissions and meditations and prayers found, we'll be making more room for our true selves. And here's how: through a dismantling of the illusion self and “all of the imbalances, complexity, and stress that the ‘supposed to' self creates” for us. So by connecting with His wisdom and clarity, we're going to learn how to leap deeper into our own peace, balance, faith, forgiveness, and freedom. Here's something that's important to know: Yeshua says that you don't even have to believe in Him or have Faith in Him, or understand Him to receive His Grace. He still works through you no matter what you believe in. And here's why: it's because, as Yeshua says, you are not separate from Him. You are Him and He is you. This is the co-creation part. This is the we-are-never-alone part. This is the I-am-one-with-the-Divine part. In this chapter, this is what Yeshua is expressing to us.He's here to assist each of us in “feeling and living the essence of Peace every day more.”By finding yourself here, reading The Freedom Transmissions at this point in time, it's a shared moment with Yeshua — or as He says,“This is OUR moment.” There is no division or separation. You are heeding a call that requires courage, because guess what: If you're finding yourself here, according to Yeshua, you are part of the pioneers ushering in an Era of Balance, Transparency, and Peace. It can't come to us until we come to it. This is what He wants us to know. Keep listening as we dig further into this chapter. Thanks for listening. Keep holding the light. __________________________WHAT TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK

Why were Yeshua's followers, who were not trained theologians, able to teach G-d's Word? Why was Peter able to offer forgiveness to those who had participated in the murder of Yeshua? Is Yeshua the "prophet like me" that Moses predicted would come? Rabbi Jim answers these questions and more in this teaching given on June 19, 2021 the 9th of Tammuz, 5781. By understanding what the B'rit Chadashah (New Covenant) teaches believers about the unity of Yeshua and the Father (John 10:30), we are given the ability to interpret the Shema in a more theologically correct light. ADONAI is echad…. Yet, according to Yeshua's own testimony, He and the Father also constitute an echad. Is HaShem more than one?! No! Is Yeshua “meshugga” (Yiddish for “crazy”)? Of course not! This relationship of the Father to the Son has long since been a problem for my people to grasp. After reviewing over 50 short testimonies of out of body experiences (OBE) and near death experiences (NDE). Here are my Top 5 on Heaven. Video can be found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCTSzMl1FOE Those who share testimonies about Heaven are they lying or are they telling the truth? A Pastor said, "Anyone who gives a testimony about Heaven is lying as Jesus said, "No one has ascended to Heaven" (John 3:13). Pity he didn't quote Jesus properly and using it to support his doctrine. Is Yeshua contradicting what was said earlier in scripture as both Elijah and Enoch ascended into Heaven? Obviously not. Could Yeshua be meaning that no one can talk about things they don’t know about? Correct, they can’t talk about Heaven unless they have seen it, it is not that no one has seen things in Heaven or been to Heaven. For example; Moses has seen heavenly things but didn’t necessarily go to Heaven (Heb. 8:5 - Same with Ezekiel etc.). Also, both Enoch and Elijah went to Heaven but didn’t come down to tell what they saw. This is the context. Yeshua said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man HAS ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven (John 3:11-13).” Perfect interpretation is when all scripture is in harmony and nothing is in tension. If it is in tension then it is not good interpretation. We also know from scripture that this statement from Yeshua was before His resurrection. This was not a command, like “No one will ascend to Heaven and come down”, but more of a reflection that no one HAS gone to Heaven and come down to tell. We also know from scripture that after His resurrection, people did go to Heaven and did return to tell. We could say 20-25% of the New Testament writers went to Heaven and came back to tell (2/8-9) - Paul (or someone he knew 2 Cor. 12:1-4) and John (Rev. 4:1-2) who ascended to Heaven. Also, the whole book of Revelation is about what John saw and some of it was from Heaven. What about those people today who have said they have gone to Heaven and come down to tell, like Paul and John? Everything is measured according to the scripture. If they say something against Scripture, we discount it, nor is it a call to action, nor do we base doctrines on it. If what they say lines up with the scripture then let it be an encouragement, think about it, but we can’t say they are lying or from the Devil because we could be found speaking against Holy Spirit. This is very dangerous, just like the Pharisees who spoke against the miracles of Yeshua by attributing it to the Devil and Yeshua said that they were blaspheming Holy Spirit.”
Place names almost always come with associations attached, for good or ill. Sometimes the setting is itself another main character in the story. Imagine Lawrence without Arabia, or Harry Potter without Hogwarts. Sodom is not the name of a place you want to be from, and when Micah says the Messiah will be born in Bethlehem, images of sheep and bread and David come unbidden. So it is with the passage we're exploring this week as we continue in our study of Making Room: Recovering Christian Hospitality. I like to quiz people on where the story of Zacchaeus takes place. It's a visually memorable narrative about a wee little tax collector who climbs a sycamore tree to see Jesus and ends up being seen by Him. I've already spoiled the surprise with my title, but the thing I'm most struck by in the story of Zacchaeus (this week anyway) is its setting. The City of Jericho ought to conjure for the diligent reader images of spies and prostitutes; of trumpets and of crumbling walls; of miraculous faith and unlikely salvation. Perhaps if you're really geographically astute, you might remember that the road between Jerusalem and Jericho serves as the setting from earlier in Luke's gospel where a certain man fell among thieves, was beaten and - if not for a compassionate (one might even call him good) Samaritan – left for dead. These two songs I learned as a child: “Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho” and “Zacchaeus Was a Wee Little Man” - despite their links to my name and my stature, I had never made this deeper connection between them! But there is much more to the correlation than geography. Jesus must have sensed the pregnancy of this penultimate narrative as he walked into Jericho on his way to conquer death in Jerusalem. He's not just the greater Joshua in a general sense: His name IS Yeshua! And I hate to break it to you, Mr. Gorbachev: that wall is coming down.
Daniel 9 contains a prophecy about the coming Messiah, Counter/Anti-Missionaries, Christians, and those of the Jewish faith agree on some aspects, but not on all. Is Yeshua the Messiah or are the Counter/Anti-Missionaries correct?
A look at the Deity of Yeshua. Is Yeshua really YHVH? Then we turn to Christmas and some explanations Christians give on why they think its fine to celebrate. The post Show #198 – Christmas Special 2017 appeared first on Messiah Matters.
Is Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel, actually divine? What is His nature and where might the serious student derive such scriptural support for His being God in fleshly form? According to Dr. Michael Brown, Judaism has never had one, official universally accepted set of beliefs concerning the Messiah, but it is true that traditional Jewish teaching does not speak unequivocally of a divine Messiah. Jewish tradition often describes a highly exalted Messiah as well as a pre-existent Messiah, so much so that Jewish scholars have sometimes spoken of His nature as "semi-divine." Does the Scripture argue otherwise?
"Blurring the Lines" According to some scholars every instance when a mortal encountered the divine God they were in some way beholding Yeshua! In this understanding Yeshua is the common factor in every single revelation of God in the Scriptures. To be sure, they declare that "No one has ever seen God; but the only and unique Son, who is identical with God and is at the Father's side," (read John 1:18). Yet Yeshua is also uniquely the Son of Man. Yeshua is NOT the Father, nor is God Yeshua. Rather, and I'm stretching human language to its limits to explain this, Yeshua is the Word made flesh, the Word which was WITH God, and the Word which WAS God! It is not as if Yeshua became God somehow. It is rather that God the Word became a human being and we beheld such glory in the person and work of the Messiah named Yeshua. Such profundity! So, by understanding what the B’rit Chadashah (New Covenant) teaches believers about the unity of Yeshua and the Father (John 10:30), we are given the ability to interpret the Shema in a more theologically correct light. ADONAI is echad…. Yet, according to Yeshua’s own testimony, He and the Father also constitute an echad. Is HaShem more than one?! No! Is Yeshua "meshugga" (Yiddish for "crazy")? Of course not! This relationship of the Father to the Son has long since been a problem for my people to grasp. It also continues to baffle anyone attempting to put God in a neat, theological box. Do we believe in three gods? No. That is the heresy called "Tritheism". Do we believe in one God who simply wears three different "masks" to interact with mankind? No. That is the heresy called "Modalism". What we believe in is ONE God who expresses his existence in a "unity of three". The mystery is that each expression is uniquely God and yet uniquely single. Ontology is defined as: "a branch of metaphysics concerned with the nature and relations of being; a particular theory about the nature of being or the kinds of existents". The ontological implications of the very words, names, and "titles" used in the Scriptures help us to relate to God himself. Observe: All of what the word "God" implies is not exhausted in the use of the words "his Son"; all of what the name "Yeshua" implies is not exhausted in the term "the Father"; all of what the term "Ruach HaKodesh" implies is not exhausted in "the Man Yeshua" and so on and so forth. We cannot logically collapse each name, phrase, and title into the others without doing damage to the import of the Scriptural references. Indeed to attempt to do so is to approach the Scriptures from an incorrect mindset. Historically, the Hebraists thought of God in concepts of "this" and "that"; conversely, the historic Greek mindset approached God in concepts of "this’ or "that". Some scholars refer to this as "Hebrew tension". Yeshua is God veiled in flesh and the Spirit of God is God himself. The matter of authority comes into play when I examine some of the roles of each deity. The role of God is as head over Yeshua and the role of the Ruach is as witness to Yeshua. Yet the role of Yeshua is as witness of the Father and the role of the Spirit is as active agent of the Father as well. Obviously this list is not exhaustive. The part that brings it all together is when we remember that true worship belongs to God and God alone! As such, whenever Yeshua or the Ruach is also worshipped we catch a glimpse of the "oneness" of the "three-ness" of God.
Why did Yeshua say not to swear at all when the Torah (law) teaches it is permissible to swear an oath? Is Yeshua introducing new law? Is he contradicting what his Father taught through Moses?
