Today on Hold the Light, I'm talking again with Carissa Schumacher in our fourth conversation together here on the podcast. You know Carissa by now: she is a renowned forensic psychic medium, a spiritual guide, the co-creator of the book The Freedom Transmissions, and she leads beautiful journeys that allow people to go deeper into their spiritual inquiry and evolution.Taking with her right now is synchronistic because I recently wrapped up my latest season on the podcast where I've been going through the book The Freedom Transmissions, chapter by chapter. (Haven't started the series yet? START HERE.)If you've been following along, you might remember that I kicked off the season talking with Carissa, so it's fitting that I'm ending the season with her as well. This conversation is a two-parter – the second half is in next week's episode where we dig more into The Freedom Transmissions.Today, the topics we cover are, as Carissa says, relevant to so many people's paths right now.* We talk about the trust-love spigot. The issue of expectations and assumptions.* We talk about how the containers of her journeys come together..* She shares about the trust and faith it takes to be a full body channel.* We talk about how we collectively are in an upgrade time — and that we're going through a quantum leap.* She shares what Yeshua's is holding us accountable for as we move into a new era. (Hint: it's not time to hold back as light-holders in this new era.)* And yeah, I asked her straight up if she thought it was cool that she could channel because there are things she just knows.Click play above
Episode Summary: The Chalice and Vessel of Freedom (Pages 405-416) & The Covenant (Pages 417-418)Today, we focus on the final chapter of Transmission 8 and Transmission 9 as a closing reflection. While Transmission 9 isn't a full episode, it holds profound significance in the journey we've been on—so I'll address it at the end. Because, as we've learned, Transmission 9 is … you. This final offering is about freedom—but it challenges the way we often perceive it. We tend to think of freedom as something external—something to be won, taken, or given. But here, we learn that true freedom is an internal state of being.* It is not something we wait for.* It is not something we fight for.* It is something we become. That shift in perception? It's up to each of us.As we move through this chapter, have your Freedom Transmissions Personal Process page ready—you'll be guided to reflect and write.Key Themes* True Freedom is an Internal State – Not something granted, but something cultivated.* Freedom Requires Responsibility – We must nurture it, not take it for granted.* The Illusion of Freedom – External power and control are not real liberation.* Forgiveness as the Path to Peace – The real battle is within, not outside of us.The Responsibility of Freedom* Freedom is not an entitlement—neither in the human nor the divine sense.* Many take freedom for granted, assuming it is simply their right, but without awareness, it can be lost.* “Freedom is not something that happens to us—it is something we cultivate through presence, consciousness, and effort.”* The illusion of freedom—believing that power, unlimited choices, or control over others will bring liberation—is a false path.* True freedom is not about getting everything we want; it is about no longer being ruled by wanting.Where Does Freedom Exist?* Freedom is an inner journey. It is not found in external conditions but within our perception and awareness.* Wars have been fought over freedom, yet history shows that these battles often lead to more suffering.* “The real battle is internal. The only fight that leads to lasting peace is the fight for forgiveness.”* Unlike wars that create winners and losers, forgiveness frees everyone.* True freedom is not about overthrowing others or proving ourselves right. It is about releasing chains—anger, fear, separation, and illusion. You Are the Vessel of Light* The responsibility of freedom does not belong to someone else—it belongs to you.* Not through suffering. Not through sacrifice. Not through war.* But through inner transformation, kindness, compassion, and choosing peace over conflict.* “True freedom is not about fighting the war. It is about ending it—within ourselves first, and then in the world.”* “Through Presence, you become conscious that you are consciousness itself.”* The peace within you is not just a gift; it is a responsibility.* You are called to embody it, to live in the light of consciousness, to choose peace. The Truth of FreedomThe book tells us:* “There is nothing to have Faith in, for you ARE Faith.”* “There is nothing to Forgive or be Forgiven for. There never was. For you ARE Forgiveness.”* “There is nothing to be Free from, for you ARE Freedom. You are already Free.”So, “…go forth and reveal and unfurl your beautiful tapestry within the Tapestry of the Web of Life.”The Covenant: The Ninth Transmission is YOU* Transmission 9 is called The Covenant… and as we've learned, Transmission 9 is YOU.* A covenant is offered to sign in realization and completion of this sacred journey—between you and Yeshua.* This is your commitment to upholding your service as a Holder of the Light.* This is the moment to acknowledge that the Light you carry is your responsibility.Key Takeaways* The journey of transformation is an internal one.* Freedom is not outside of us—it is within.* We are called to walk forward in peace, embodying the Light we already are.* You are the final transmission. You are the pathway to peace.Closing ReflectionThis has been a journey of transformation, alignment, and peace. The pathway is not outside of us—it exists within. We are the ones now—carrying wisdom, light, and the responsibility to embody love. This is not about seeking something external; it is about remembering who we truly are.You are the ninth transmission. Go forth in your life as peace. Thanks for listening. Keep holding the light.Subscribe & Stay Connected
Episode Summary: Salvation (Pages 379-404)This chapter is about coming home to yourself—liberation, transformation, and stepping into the light of who you truly are. Some days, you may feel deeply connected to your purpose; other days, you may feel lost. This is part of being human. We move through light and shadow, remembering and forgetting, but there is always a way back to yourself. At its core, this chapter explores salvation not as something external, but as an inner transformation. It is the process of shedding fear and illusion, returning to divine truth, and choosing faith over fear, unity over division, and presence over distraction. Peace, freedom, and love are not something we seek—they are something we awaken within. This teaching is an invitation to step into our divinity. We are all part of something bigger, something sacred. This is a path of awakening—discovering who we truly are and the light we are meant to share with the world.Key Themes* Salvation as Inner Transformation – It is not given to us; it is something we embody and live.* Deliverance is an Inner Process – Releasing false narratives, choosing faith over fear, and stepping into spiritual truth.* Returning to Divine Truth – Aligning with wisdom, presence, and love instead of illusion and distraction.* We Are the Bridge – We are here to carry the Light and be part of the awakening of conscious life. The Path of Deliverance* Deliverance is not about being rescued—it is a shift in perception and awareness.* It is about releasing limitations, false identities, and attachments that keep us bound.* We are called to use discernment—choosing what we align with and how we walk this path.* “You are here to make choices as the Divine human, not the human human any longer.”The Burden is Resistance, Not Life* Life itself is not a burden—it is resistance to our true selves that creates suffering.* The book reminds us: “When you free yourself to be as you are, and free others to be who they are, it suddenly becomes easy to love, to trust, and to release doubt.”* The greatest transformation happens when we surrender the need for control and comparison.A Time of Awakening & Accountability* We are moving into an Era of Consciousness—one of transparency, truth, and co-creation.* We are accountable for the seeds we sow, whether in love or fear.* “You are all accountable for your share of the peace, or your share of the burden, in ways you did not have to be accountable for before.”* The Earth is part of this balance. “Cease and desist from your slow crucifixion of Gaia.”Stepping Into the Light* We are being asked: “Will you be God's dream, a conscious dreamer? Or will you be God's nightmare, twisted in the dreaming?”* This is a moment of choice—one that calls us into presence, connection, and kindness.* The invitation is to live in alignment with divine truth, embodying love and peace in our daily lives. You Are the Ninth Transmission* The Freedom Transmissions are structured in three sacred Braids—Life, Death, and Resurrection.* The final strand is you. You are the completion of the teaching.* “The ninth transmission is not something you receive—it is something you live.”* Your choices, your presence, your love are what weave a new world of wisdom and light.Key Takeaways* We are the living transmission. It is through our actions and alignment that we bring the Light into the world.* Surrender, willingness, and curiosity are all that is required.* This is Revelation. The unseen becomes seen through how we live, love, and serve.Next Steps: Read & Listen
Episode Summary: The Three Strands of the Braid of the Holy Trinity, Part 2 (Pages 363-376)In this episode, we continue exploring the spiritual concept of the Trinity of Light and the Shadow Trinity. This is an exploration, not a pursuit of mastery. The journey is one of continuous unbraiding from fear and judgment while reweaving into love, wisdom, and freedom. This chapter offers insights into the power of redemption, the significance of shared burdens, and the ultimate liberation found in embracing divine will. True peace is not achieved through external validation but through deep spiritual work—shedding old beliefs that no longer serve us and embracing a life of love and joy. Through the three key principles of Repentance, Atonement, and Redemption, we are provided with a framework for finding inner peace and freedom.Key Themes* The Journey of Spiritual Growth – This path is not about perfection but continuous exploration and integration.* Joy as a Spiritual Lens – Choosing joy does not mean avoiding pain, but seeing it differently.* Shared Burdens & Divine Reciprocity – Service is not just an act of giving; it is a sacred exchange.* Redemption as Renewal – True freedom comes when faith and forgiveness are fully realized. The Nature of Spiritual Growth* Spiritual evolution is not a burden but an invitation to joy.* Pain and struggle are part of the process, but they are not punishments; they are opportunities for transformation.* Much like a "patient in a waiting room waiting to be stitched back together," we are called to trust the process rather than resist it.* “Salvation requires Love, and Love requires consciousness and courage as you evolve into your fully realized, adult Yeshua self.”The Power of Shared Burdens* In this chapter, Yeshua shares the story of Simon, who helped Him carry His cross.* This was a crucial moment in the Resurrection that is often overlooked.* Simon unknowingly set down his own burdens by saying yes to helping Yeshua.* Lesson: Divinity is not found in isolation but in co-creation. When we serve, we receive. As the book says:“Creator serves Creation. Creation serves Creator. Dreamer serves Dreaming. Dreaming serves Dreamer.”* Our purpose often finds us in unexpected ways.* Service is not about grandeur—it is about the love, humility, and compassion we bring to it.* Even the smallest acts of kindness are miracles to the Divine.Understanding the Third Strand: Redemption* Repentance – The power of unburdening.* Atonement – The power of service through joy.* Redemption – The power of renewal.Redemption is the freedom that comes when faith and forgiveness are fully realized. It is the resurrection of our presence, our worth, and our Yeshua self. But redemption is not an obligation—it is an invitation. Divine grace is always available, but we must choose to receive it.“The Divine is not the gatekeeper to freedom; you are. No one else can free you; you must choose to forgive and liberate yourself.”Redemption is not about being saved—it is about stepping fully into joy and divine purpose. It is a celebration, not a solemn duty.Recite The Redemption Prayer (page 371) to align with divine grace.Mastery & the Spiritual Path* The teachings in this book are meant to unfold over years and lifetimes.* Mastery is not about absorbing everything at once, but allowing wisdom to transform us.* “Even one transmission, one word or breath within it, carries all the energy needed for the whole of your enlightenment.”* Growth happens in cycles, revealing deeper truths over time.* True mastery is not about external achievements but alignment with love, truth, and peace.Key Takeaways* The Trinity of Light is a path from limitation into freedom.* Faith over fear. Service over isolation. Joy over judgment.* Repentance, Atonement, and Redemption realign us with love and inner peace.* The invitation is always here—to let go of burdens, embrace divine grace, and walk the path of light with courage and joy.Next Steps: Read & Listen
Episode Summary: The Three Strands of the Braid of the Holy Trinity, Part 1 (Pages 339-362)This chapter explores how fear shapes our lives and how our response to it—either through surrender or resistance—determines whether it controls us or becomes an opportunity for growth. Fear, when left unchecked, creates illusions that trap us in cycles of suffering. However, understanding two powerful forces can help us break free:* The Trinity of Light: Repentance, Atonement, and Redemption—a path to healing, transformation, and liberation.* The Shadow Trinity: Separation, Judgment, and Fear—energies that bind us in limitation and distortion.By recognizing our fear-based patterns and shifting our perception, we can step into a life of divine connection, where faith replaces fear and we align with our highest potential.Key Themes* Fear as Illusion – How the mind creates exaggerated ghost stories that keep us trapped in suffering.* Addiction to Fear – How external structures (media, politics, societal systems) manipulate fear for control.* Faith as the Antidote – The unknown is where transformation and spiritual connection live.* The Shadow Trinity vs. The Light Trinity – One binds us in suffering, while the other sets us free. The Nature of Fear and Perception* The phrase “Abandon hope, all ye who enter here” is often used to create fear in controlled settings, yet in real life, we resist fear instead of embracing it with curiosity.* Fear does not exist in external events but in how our mind interprets them.* When faith is lost, the mind creates illusions—stories that seem more frightening than reality.* Discernment is key: Learning when fear serves a purpose versus when it is used as a tool of control.Understanding the Three Strands of the Trinity of Light1. The Power of Repentance: The Act of Unburdening* Repentance is not about guilt; it is about release.* Acknowledging burdens—blame, regret, judgment—allows us to unburden ourselves and reconnect with love and peace.* Recite the Repentance Prayer (page 353) to surrender and realign.2. The Power of Atonement: Service Through Joy* Atonement restores balance, not as punishment, but through joyful service.* This is co-creation with the Divine, allowing us to hold the Light for others.* Acts of kindness, laughter, and compassion are ways we atone. The Shadow Trinity: The Counterbalance to the Light* A necessary contrast that teaches us what we are not, so we may remember what we are.* Consists of three braids:* Resentment, Reaction, Regret* Shame, Blame, Guilt* Polarity, Complacency, Separation* These energies create suffering but can be unbraided through awareness and choice.Key Takeaways* Fear binds. Faith liberates. When we shift from fear-based perception to faith, we create inner peace and clarity.* Repentance releases burdens. Let go of judgment, regret, and separation to return to love.* Atonement is service through joy. Give without agenda, and your light will inspire others to find their own path.* Discernment is key. Fear can be a tool for control—learning to recognize and shift it is part of our awakening.Next Steps: Read & Listen
Episode Summary: The Justice of Divine Balance (Pages 323-338)This chapter explores the importance of balance, letting go of what no longer serves, and trusting the natural flow of life. It invites us to examine how chasing external validation—such as success, approval, or control—can leave us feeling empty and disconnected, while aligning with truth, peace, humility, and authenticity brings clarity and fulfillment. We also explore how change and loss, though difficult, can be pathways to freedom. This offering provides guidance on how to navigate transitions, including global energetic shifts, with grace, surrender, and purpose.Key Themes:* Balance is achieved by releasing attachments and trusting life's natural flow.* External pursuits—success, status, control—often lead to disillusionment and imbalance.* True fulfillment arises from inner peace, humility, and authenticity.* Loss is not punishment; it is often a necessary step for realignment and growth.* The world's energetic shifts require us to embrace change with trust rather than resistance. The Illusion of Fulfillment Through External MeansMany of us believe that something outside of ourselves will provide the fulfillment we seek. Yet, when we focus on lack or fixate on what “should” be instead of what is, we create a false sense of separation.* Real happiness does not come from external success. As the book states, “You may hit the bull's-eye on sex, money, and power, but focusing on such targets leaves your authentic self missing in action.”* When we chase validation, status, or material wealth, we often feel unfulfilled, even when we achieve those goals.* True peace does not come from accumulating more or achieving perfection—it comes from accepting ourselves as we are.* Freedom begins when we release the part of ourselves that constantly seeks and desires without ever feeling satisfied. The Archery Metaphor: Aiming for the Right TargetsThe book uses archery as a metaphor for life, illustrating how we often aim at the wrong targets:* Many people rush toward lofty goals before they have built the foundation necessary to hold steady. As the text says, “Your minds love to race to Olympic Archery distances before you have even effectively learned the discipline and work required to hold a bow.”* Chasing external success can feel like hitting a target—only to realize it wasn't the one that truly mattered.* Instead, we are encouraged to:* Refocus our aim—targeting what brings real peace and connection.* Adjust expectations—understanding that transformation requires patience and alignment.* Release the illusion of perfection—embracing authenticity over unattainable ideals.* As the book states, “The more honest you are, the more balanced your bow, the more open your soul's eye, through accepting what you are designed to be, hitting the mark will be effortless.”The Necessity of Release and RenewalPeriods of loss and transformation are necessary for growth:* Without release, imbalance occurs.* Loss is not punishment; it is often a divine realignment.* Letting go allows for expansion and greater clarity.* Examples of how loss can lead to liberation:* Losing a job can open doors to a more meaningful path.* The end of a relationship can lead to deeper self-discovery.* Releasing outdated beliefs allows for new perspectives and growth.Rather than resisting loss, we are invited to see it as a doorway to something new. As the book states, “An opportunity for reevaluation, refinement, restoration, and simplification.” Less can often be more. The Earth's Energetic Shift and Our Role in ItWe are in a time of global energetic rebalancing. The Earth itself is evolving, and we must evolve with her:* The Earth's frequency is shifting, requiring a collective realignment.* Many current struggles—exhaustion, anxiety, disconnection—stem from being out of sync with natural rhythms.* Synchronizing with the Earth's cycles brings clarity and well-being.* As the planet undergoes shifts, natural events will mirror these changes, reflecting necessary realignments. To navigate this shift, we are encouraged to:* Honor our bodies—resting, nourishing, and attuning to our needs.* Release unnecessary consumption—creating spaciousness rather than filling every moment.* Trust life's cycles—understanding that every transition has purpose. There are two choices:* Fight and resist change, creating struggle.* Surrender, adapt, and trust the unfolding process. We are reminded that this is not a passive process. Growth requires participation. The less resistance, the faster clarity arrives.Choosing Peace in a Changing WorldDespite external turmoil, peace is the underlying force driving this shift:* The current era is moving toward transparency and alignment, though resistance remains.* Those in power—whether in external systems or within our own ego—will struggle to maintain control.* The collective will reach a point of oversaturation with dissonance, leading to a greater desire for unity.Yet, we can choose the path of peace now:* Be a light-holder, guiding others toward a new way of being.* Embrace simplicity and authenticity—animals, elders, and children are examples of this.* Recognize that true balance means living for oneself without imposing on others. As the text says, “There is such strength in allowing and be-ing just as you are. When you can allow yourself to just be… you create space for fulfillment, service, and joy.”The Nothing Prayer: A Gateway to EverythingThe chapter concludes with The Nothing Prayer, a powerful tool for restoring simplicity and balance. As recommended in the book, this prayer shifts focus from external chaos to inner stillness, liberating us from attachments and desires.“I have nothing. I want nothing. I will be brought what I need…”Reciting this prayer often is a practice in surrender and trust.Key TakeawayThe world is shifting, and we are invited to shift with it. Balance is not found in control or accumulation but in trust, surrender, and alignment with our true nature.Reflection:What are you holding onto that no longer serves you? How can you embrace release as a path to deeper peace?Next Steps: Read & Listen
Episode Summary: Resurrection (Pages 310-320)This chapter explores the deep interconnectedness of all life—from the smallest insect to towering trees, from animals to humans. Everything in existence plays a role; we are not separate from this web of life but woven into it.We examine our purpose as conscious beings—not to dominate but to serve as caretakers of the Earth. The energy we bring into the world matters, shaping our collective future. This offering invites us to recognize the sacred in all things, to honor our relationship with nature, and to understand the unseen impact of our spiritual evolution.Key Themes:* All life is interconnected; no being is separate from the web of existence.* Our role is not to dominate but to care for and honor all life.* The energy we cultivate and leave behind influences the world long after we are gone.* Animals and plants are profound teachers, offering wisdom through their presence and balance.* Justice is not about punishment but restoring harmony through wisdom and discernment. The Legacy of Energy and the Seeds We PlantEvery one of us carries a life force that does not simply vanish when we pass. Instead, our energy and consciousness continue to influence the world, much like planting seeds.* The way we live—and the way we die—matters. Our state of being at the time of passing leaves an energetic imprint.* Living in love, grace, and peace plants seeds that create healing and harmony.* Living in resentment or fear plants seeds that continue cycles of suffering.* Indigenous cultures, animals, and nature understand these cycles intuitively, honoring life and death as part of a greater balance. The Wisdom of Nature and AnimalsPlants, trees, and animals are among our greatest light-holders. They live in harmony with the rhythms of life and serve as reminders of presence and truth.* Trees hold wisdom in their roots, communicate through ecosystems, and sustain life through their breath.* Animals exist in full presence, without pretense or judgment, reflecting truth through their eyes.* Our role is not to assert dominance over them but to serve as their caretakers.Reincarnation and the Evolution of the SoulReincarnation is another way to describe the process of resurrection—of soul integrating into form once again.* As consciousness evolves, we may move through different forms—human, animal, insect, plant—learning balance along the way.* A soul that has caused harm may choose to return in a different form, not as punishment but as a means of healing and understanding.* An abuser may return as the abused, not for suffering's sake, but to mend the love-knots and restore balance.* The soul's ultimate desire is to experience all aspects of existence and contribute to the evolution of consciousness. The Divine's Evolution and Our Role in Co-CreationEven the Divine itself is in a progressive state of evolution.* As we evolve, so does the Divine, in an ongoing cycle of co-creation.* The energy we cultivate—whether love and compassion or fear and negativity—contributes to the overall consciousness of existence.* Beings of light, such as angels, often take form as children with special needs or animals who live brief yet powerful lives, serving as anchors of high vibration.* Abuse or neglect of any form of life—plant, animal, child, or elder—affects the collective balance of consciousness.Justice and True BalanceJustice, in its highest form, is not about punishment or retribution but about restoring balance and peace.* Passion for change must stem from compassion and wisdom, not anger and blame.* Social justice can quickly become mob justice when fueled by hatred instead of discernment.* Modern-day pitchforks—social media, judgment, and reactionary activism—often create more imbalance.* True justice asks: Am I moving from love or fear? If we become consumed by our fight, we risk becoming the very thing we oppose.* Divine balance ensures that all things are eventually restored to harmony. Any imbalance not rectified in this life will be resolved through the loving correction of the Divine.Raising Our Vibration and Honoring the Web of LifeThe energy we carry and consume matters.* The words we speak, the food we eat, the media we consume—all shape our vibration.* Filling our lives with negativity and suffering absorbs that energy into our being.* Discernment is key: What are you aligning with? What do you bring into your body, mind, and spirit?* Choosing love and peace raises not only our consciousness but that of the collective. This does not mean ignoring darkness. It means choosing to bring light into it, even in grief, loss, and disconnection.Key TakeawayWe are all part of something greater than ourselves. The way we treat others, animals, and the Earth ripples outward, shaping the world itself. Our legacy is not in what we accumulate but in the energy we leave behind.Reflection:What life force or legacy do you want to leave behind? How are you contributing to the balance of life?Next Steps: Read & Listen
Episode Summary: The Alpha, the Omega, and Eternal Life (Pages 279-309)This chapter explores the sacred cycles of beginnings and endings, offering comfort and wisdom to anyone navigating loss or seeking a deeper purpose behind the human experience. While we often think of life and death as opposites—one to be celebrated and the other to be feared—this teaching invites us to see them as partners in the soul's journey. By embracing both, we can find greater peace, presence, and freedom.Key Themes:* Life and death are not opposing forces but interconnected cycles in the soul's evolution.* Every birth contains an ending, just as every ending creates a new beginning.* Love does not disappear after loss—it transforms and takes on a new form.* Our feelings cannot be solved through logic; they must be felt and processed to move through them.* The Divine is not a force of suffering or punishment but of peace—we can access this when we surrender to the greater flow of life. The Nature of Beginnings and EndingsWe all come into this world knowing that we will one day leave it. This is not a tragedy—it is part of the Divine design. Without endings, there could be no beginnings.* A mother must release her former identity when she gives birth to a child.* When a loved one passes, those left behind must release the life they knew with them.* The grief we feel in loss is proof of the love we have shared.* Beginnings and endings hold both light and void—fear, love, grief, and transformation are all part of the same sacred cycle. The Conflict Between the Mind and the HeartOne of the greatest challenges we face is the tension between our thoughts and feelings:* The mind seeks logic and control, but the heart speaks the language of energy and emotion.* We often try to reason through emotions, but feelings cannot be solved like a problem; they must be moved through.* True peace comes when we learn to balance the mind and heart, embracing presence instead of overanalyzing.Yeshua's presence is not about fear, suffering, or burden—those are constructs of the human mind. Divine energy is peace, and we can tap into this by surrendering control and trusting in something greater than ourselves.Understanding the Layers of AwarenessTo better navigate our human experience, we are shown three levels of awareness:* Thoughts (Lowest Vibration) – The mind's attempt to process the external world.* Feelings and Emotions (Higher Vibration) – More aligned with the Light, connected to energy and intuition.* Intuition and Presence (Highest Vibration) – A deep knowing, the soul's wisdom, and direct connection to the Divine.Yet, we often give the lowest vibration—our thoughts—the most power. This chapter invites us to reset, allowing intuition and presence to lead, bringing harmony even through grief, birth, and sudden change.Finding Peace in Life and DeathLoss is often seen as something to fear, yet it is part of the balance of creation. Nothing reminds us of the power of love more than loss itself.* When we lose someone, it feels like a part of us is gone—but in reality, they shift from being beside us to being within us.* The grief we experience is not about something being taken from us; rather, it is an expansion of love.* The Divine does not wish for us to carry burdens; instead, we are invited to lay them down and find peace in faith and forgiveness. The Sacred Cycle of Life and DeathThis chapter shares the cycle of our physical existence:* Upon birth, our spirit descends from the infinite, while our physical form rises from the earth.* Upon death, our spirit ascends back to the infinite, and our body returns to the earth.* We do not cease to exist; we simply transition into a new way of being.* This is why we can still feel the presence of loved ones who have passed—they are still with us, just in a different form.Hope, Balance, and the Gift of PeaceThe Divine carries hope for us, just as we carry hope for our loved ones. But true hope is not about avoiding suffering—it is about seeking peace.* Yeshua does not exist to save us from death or struggle but to help us find balance.* When we restore balance between the mind and heart, everything shifts.* If we wish to find Yeshua, we do not need more knowledge or service—we need balance.Lessons on Grief and Eternal ConnectionGrief is an awakening—an invitation to form a new relationship with the ones we have lost. Love is eternal, and our connections remain unbroken.* Each ending contains a new beginning; grief and love are intertwined.* We are whole, even when we feel empty.* Loss is not final—it is a transformation of presence.* We are encouraged to move through grief with simplicity, not resistance. True wisdom emerges from allowing what is, rather than trying to control it.What Happens When We Die?This chapter offers a perspective on the moment of death:* The soul reunites with its whole self, freed from the limits of the body.* All memories and experiences transform into light and understanding.* We experience a return to love and balance, a reunion with those who came before us.At the moment of passing, our relationships do not end; they transcend time and space, becoming woven into our spirit.Key TakeawayEvery loss plants seeds of light within us. Our journey is not about avoiding grief—it is about walking through it with an open heart. Love does not disappear; it simply changes form.Reflection:When loss creates a void, that space is not empty—it is an opening where light can enter.Next Steps: Read & Listen
Episode Summary: Polarity, Resistance, and Transcending Doubt (Pages 252-276)In this chapter, we explore the dualities within ourselves—our Yeshua self, which embodies love and light, and our Lucifer self, which resists change and clings to fear. By recognizing these aspects, we gain a deeper understanding of how our personal struggles mirror collective challenges and how our resistance to growth reflects the tension in the world around us. Transformation is not a single moment but a gradual process of awakening to our true nature. Through the lens of light and void, we learn to navigate our inner polarities, make conscious choices, and contribute positively, even in times of uncertainty.Key Themes:* Light is not fading; rather, our connection to it can wane. It is up to us to stay connected.* As light grows within us, resistance often increases. Our old belief systems struggle to hold on.* The world mirrors our internal struggles—resistance to change, collective division, and the cycles of power.* We are responsible for our own peace and how we engage with transformation.Navigating Inner ResistanceResistance to growth is natural. This chapter explores how resistance manifests:* Love-nots—the mental and emotional knots we carry—can feel heavier when transformation begins.* When belief systems collapse, there is often panic and a rush to regain control.* The pendulum of power swings back and forth, without real progress, when change is resisted instead of embraced.* We are encouraged not to get lost in choosing sides but instead to move beyond judgment and into a place of awareness and unity. The Balance of Healthy and Unhealthy ResistanceWe are invited to reflect: Should we resist at all?* Healthy resistance is about discernment—it allows us to pause, explore, and proceed with wisdom.* Unhealthy resistance comes from fear and an unwillingness to accept change.* The Divine is making it impossible to stay in resistance. The more we cling to old patterns, the harder the shift feels.Fear of Love, Fear of FearMany of us fear love itself because loving means risking loss. Yet love is our true nature. We are encouraged to ask: Will we fear love, or will we love fear?* The Divine loves us in all states—joy, peace, judgment, and separation alike.* Choosing love over fear is essential to our path.Understanding the Yeshua and Lucifer SelfWithin each of us are two aspects:* The Yeshua Self is aligned with Divine will, love, and peace. It seeks unity and trust.* The Lucifer Self clings to control, fear, and separation. It thrives in division and the illusion of dominance.Rather than rejecting one and clinging to the other, we are called to recognize when we are operating from our Lucifer self and gently guide ourselves back into the light.Resurrection as a Process of AwakeningResurrection is not a single event; it is an unfolding journey of consciousness:* Descent: The movement into form and ego identity.* Awakening: Recognizing our higher nature and stepping into our true path.* Realization: The return to Divine consciousness. We may experience many mini-resurrections in life—each moment we choose awareness, presence, and truth, we realign with our highest self. What Do You Wish to Contribute? We are invited to consider: What are we contributing to life?* Are we creating and engaging with love, presence, and peace?* Or are we lost in distractions, judgments, and fleeting pursuits?By being mindful of our words, actions, and energy, we can step into conscious creation rather than reactive existence.Key TakeawayBoth light and the void are our sacred teachers. When we recognize our Yeshua and Lucifer selves as part of our growth, we stop resisting and begin to flow with divine balance. Through conscious choice, we return—moment by moment—to our authentic selves.Reflection:Each time we choose love over fear, presence over distraction, and peace over division, we resurrect into our truest self.Next Steps: Read & Listen
Episode Summary: The Spectrum of Spirit (Pages 227-251)We often think of light and darkness as opposites, but what if they are not in conflict at all? This chapter explores how the light and the void are complementary forces, working together in perfect balance to support our spiritual growth.Key Themes:* The void is not something to fear but rather a space of limitless possibilities and transformation.* Light and the void are interconnected parts of creation, and embracing both is essential for spiritual evolution.* We are both of the Creator and creators ourselves, holding the divine spark within us.* The mastery of this reality comes from recognizing that we are the dreamers of our lives, able to consciously create rather than live in reaction.* We are in a time of great change, and our choices will shape the future. Navigating this transformation with trust and surrender allows for greater peace.* The balance of masculine and feminine energy is key to our collective evolution.Exploring Fear: The Void vs. The LightWe are asked to reflect: What do I fear more? The Void or the Light?* Fear of the Void often relates to issues of safety, security, control, failure, judgment, and abandonment.* Fear of the Light is more about self-worth, trust, deservingness, and fear of rejection.* The void and light are not opposing forces but rather two aspects of the same truth.* If our fear is about the outcome, it often points to resistance toward changing our personal narrative.* If we fear losing control or surrendering to truth, we are already evolving beyond the illusion of self.Spiritual Evolution and Environmental ResponsibilityThis chapter also highlights our responsibility to Gaia, the Earth, as an integral part of our transformation.* Our disconnection from the natural world creates imbalances that must be healed.* True service involves holding the light for others, offering guidance without expectation, and contributing to the healing of our collective consciousness.Key TakeawayThe light and the void are not opposing forces but work in harmony. The void, though often misunderstood, is a space of limitless potential where transformation begins. By embracing both, we align with our highest spiritual path.Reflection:When you find yourself in the void, call the light to you. When you stand in the light, welcome the void. Either way, you are exactly where you need to be.Next Steps: Read & Listen
Clarity—it's what so many of us constantly seek. We want to know. We want certainty. We want someone or something to tell us what to do, where to go, how it's all going to unfold. But here's the truth: when we feel lost, when we can't see or hear the answers, it's not because clarity isn't there. It's because we're either too impatient to receive it, or we're afraid of what it might reveal. We are rushing to force something that isn't ready to unfold, or we are resisting the truth that is already right in front of us.What if we stopped grasping and started trusting? What if we let go of control and allowed divine timing to do its work? In this offering, we explore how clarity isn't about predicting the future—it's about presence. It's about listening instead of panicking, surrendering instead of forcing. It's about understanding that our soul doesn't move in a straight line. We are reminded that clarity is not about having certainty over outcomes—it's about being in harmony with what is. And when we align with that, not only are we clear—we're free. This is Clarity, part 2, from The Freedom Transmissions.SUBSCRIBE ➡️ Join me on Substack at Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning GrossmanLEARN MORE ABOUT LAURIE AND HOLD THE LIGHT* Substack: Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning Grossman* Laurie on IG: @laurie.gunning.grossman* Hold the Light on IG: Laurie Gunning Grossman* Affirmations Tool: Hold the Light CollectiveABOUT HOLD THE LIGHTHold the Light podcast aims to support and guide lifelong learners and light holders in deepening their connection to personal and spiritual growth. This is a chapter about clarity.Having clarity – like where to go and what to do and how to do it – is something many of us constantly seek. Often, we just want answers. How many times have you said, “I just want someone to tell me what to do, or which direction to go in.”We learn in this chapter that asking for clarity is the request that the Divine most often receives from us. This teaching reveals how our relationship with clarity often becomes distorted by our impatience, our unwillingness to look at what is, and our resistance to accepting truths. In this chapter, we begin to understand that true clarity doesn't come from external validation or future certainty, but from our willingness to be present with what is and to trust in the divine unfolding of our path. It's like wearing spiritual glasses so that we can see the truth that's right in front of us.And it's having faith that the Divine always has our back. This is Clarity, part one. This is a chapter about the energy of MOVING MOUNTAINS.And it's summed up like this: “Love moves mountains.”Here we're going to explore how our perception of mountains — the things in our lives that feel like challenges or issues, both internally and externally — either keeps us stuck or allows us to move forward.Depending on who is looking at them, mountains could be related to health, finances, relationships, work, and other things that feel like a big figurative mountain to climb. The question is never about the mountain itself, but it's about the way we see it, the way we engage with it, and whether we are willing to align with the divine, who moves all things through love.We are being asked to bring our awareness to this since it affects us all—individually and collectively, both spiritually and physically. We're going to discuss three core themes: the power of perception in shaping our reality, the role of burdens and attachments in creating unnecessary mountains, and how divine love—not force or control—is the key to moving what seems immovable. We'll also talk about faith and how true transformation occurs when we stop resisting what is and start seeing through the eyes of love. This is the Power of Perception.___________________________SUBSCRIBE ➡️ Join me on Substack at Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning GrossmanOTHER EPISODES IN THIS SERIES
In this chapter, we explore the fundamental choice each of us faces — whether to align with our true divine nature, or what the text calls our "wheat-self," or remain trapped in the illusion of separation, our "chaff identity."Here's what we're exploring: our choices about how we connect to ourselves, others, and the divine either lead us toward authentic freedom or keep us bound in patterns of seeking and wanting. This chapter reveals that true freedom comes not from doing whatever we want, but from being what we truly are, our essence. It teaches us that healing happens through reintegrating lost aspects of self while learning to trust divine timing and support. We're being asked to look at this deeply because it affects us both individually and as a collective. As Yeshua tells us, "You are being freed to live a soul-based life." Get in the river and let the current take you. This is The Freedom of Being.___________________________SUBSCRIBE ➡️ Join me on Substack at Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning GrossmanOTHER EPISODES IN THIS SERIES
The theme and focus of this chapter is taking a look at how we become trapped in patterns of wanting – constantly seeking external validation, possessions, and acceptance to feel complete. The offering here reveals how these very longings end up owning us through our fears and attachments. We are reminded of a fundamental truth we often forget: we already are whole and complete just as we are. We're reminded that true liberation comes not from acquiring more, but from releasing our attachments to external belongings and recognizing that we already belong to something greater: the Divine. Through this process, we can learn how to become free from the servitude of longing – which we discussed in the previous chapter. We become free from waiting for something outside ourselves to make us feel whole. This is The Liberation of Longing. ___________________________SUBSCRIBE ➡️ Join me on Substack at Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning GrossmanOTHER EPISODES IN THIS SERIES
In today's episode, I want to offer some writing prompts based on the chapters we've covered so far in our book study series of The Freedom Transmissions.Since there is a lot of information and wisdom offered within these transmissions, I thought it would be helpful to take a pause and take some time to reflect on what you've discovered, realized, or learned so far. Basically, to write about what revelations have been brought into the light for you. This is a way to help integrate and embody the wisdom offered in the book.If you haven't yet read some of those chapters yet and you're going at your own pace, amazing. Just keep reading at whatever speed feels right to you. There's no pressure and no rules. For others who are up to date, take some time to answer the writing prompts I'm about to pose. When we write, pen to paper, it helps us to process and comprehend on a new level. This is something that I've been experiencing as I've been writing these podcast episodes.Journal Prompt # 1In the chapter, I AM Yeshua, we learn that we don't have to believe in Yeshua or have faith in Him to receive His Grace. We learn that we are all inherently divine and worthy. Can you remember a time when you truly felt like you were “some of the One.” Write about that time.Journal Prompt #2Which of the seven imbalances is strongest for you right now? Identify it and write about the ways that it's showing up for you in your life. And then write about what is the underlying energy beneath this imbalance? What fear-based stories are you telling yourself that keep you in this imbalance?Journal Prompt #3We've learned about the four chambers of the Sacred Heart: simplicity, stability, surrender, and stillness. These are four key energies to Peace, and it's our gateway to divine connection. Which energy is most challenging for you to embody right now? And what could you do to help you embrace it and welcome it?Journal Prompt #4In the chapter The Thread and Stitching of the Dreaming, we learned that we're energetically connected to everything and everyone – our connections exist beyond physical reality. And we learned that prior to going somewhere, our soul and spirit have already stitched us to the place and people there. This is the idea that our souls are already connected to future experiences and people before we meet them.Looking back at a significant moment in your life, write about the invisible threads that you can now see in hindsight that were weaving your path to that experience.Journal Prompt #5We've talked about voids, both individual and collective voids, and how they are opportunities for growth, not spaces to fear. How we navigate them is a big part of our evolution.Think about a time when you faced a personal Void—a period of uncertainty, change, or transition. Looking back, what did you learn about yourself during that time? And what transformation came from that experience?Journal Prompt #6We've learned that “What you belong to also belongs to you,” and how external seeking creates endless longing.Think about what you're stitched to right now in your life – do you want to belong to these people, places, things, belief-systems, and stories? If not, where will you focus first on letting something go that no longer serves you so that you can move deeper into your authenticity?Journal Prompt #7Reflect on areas where you might be suppressing your true self—through habits, fears, or external expectations. How can you cultivate Freedom over suppression, creating space for your authentic essence to emerge?Where and how are you your own oppressor in your life?Journal Prompt #8In the book, we learn that we are “not just in life but OF life.” How can you consciously shift your focus to plant seeds that align with your higher self and the legacy you want to leave in the year, and years, ahead? What seeds do you want to plant?Journal Prompt #9And finally, what do you need to have Faith in right now?___________________SUBSCRIBE ➡️ Join me on Substack at Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning GrossmanOTHER EPISODES IN THIS SERIES
This is a chapter about the energy of BELONGING.And it can be summed up like this: “What you belong to also belongs to you.”Here we'll explore how our choices about where we place our sense of belonging either lead us toward freedom or keep us bound in patterns of seeking and longing. We are being asked to bring our awareness to this issue since it's an issue that's prevalent both individually and collectively, internally and externally. We're going to discuss three core themes: the pull between the ego-self and the soul-self; true belonging vs. longing; and how discernment and making conscious choices is needed for our freedom. We'll also talk about influencers, branding, and what happens when we allow outer people and institutions to define us.This is the Servitude of Longing. Sacred Seeds from Transmission 2: The Wheat and Chaff found in Part Two: The Freedom Transmissions, Pages ✨ 124-145In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we are talking about how we reap what we sow — what seeds are you planting right now? Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________The message of this chapter is: You reap what you sow.The question we are being asked to consider right now and in the years to come is: “Will I plant a seed of poison through blame and projection? Or will I plant a seed of light and kindness?”Because, we'll be answering to the seeds that we plant, within the void. We'll get into voids in this chapter as well. The questions we'll be considering now are: Will you choose Faith over fear? Forgiveness over blame? Or Freedom over Suppression?Much of this chapter is: how do you want to move forward in your life, right now? How will you show up for yourself, and what choices will you make? What is the legacy you want to leave? This is what we are putting our awareness on, right now.You don't have to be perfect – just be aware. This is why we are here in body, as we shift from the Old Era into the new. We've been preparing for this time over lifetimes. This is Sacred Seeds.___________________________WHAT TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEKHere's your focus until the next episode:

Shades of Hope from Transmission 2: The Wheat and Chaff found in Part Two: The Freedom Transmissions, Pages ✨ 109-123In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we are talking about the light forms of hope, the meaning of separation, and how the thoughts we think matters. Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________Now we move into Transmission 2. Transmission 2 is called The Wheat and the Chaff and within this transmission, we begin with the chapter Shades of Hope. The shades of hope are the Light form or the shadow form of Hope. Whether it is light or shadow, they each have their own energy of hope. So, we'll talk about this and how our thought bubbles and fears are connected to it. How we choose to think about things matters. We'll also look at the power of originality, manifestation, the healthy side of separation, and how we are all here as soul's having a human experience. This is Shades of Hope. Please share this episode with anyone you think might be interested. ↘️___________________________To start, there's something I want to highlight — something that Yeshua addresses at the top of this chapter. In these transmissions, Yeshua's offerings cover many different topics and thoughts, and depending on where you are in your life, some will resonate, some will not. As a matter of fact, you might not even remember having read some words, passages, and paragraphs when you pick up the book a second or third time. This is a phenomenon I've heard many people say, and it's one I've experienced as well. Like I'll open the book to a random page and read something I don't even remember having read before. So Yeshua basically says that this will happen because it all depends on where our awareness is placed on any given day or moment. He says, “Oftentimes in My Offerings, I like to liberate several different birds with one stone. That is why, as you listen to the Offering, depending on where you are in your soul's evolution, you can hear and experience very different revelations at different times.”So in this chapter, we don't actually get to talking about hope until later in the chapter … although, of course, everything that's discussed does connect and relate to one another. We begin by continuing the conversation around the wheat and the chaff, which we previously talked about in the chapter on The Thread and the Stitching of the Dreaming. Essentially the wheat is our soul, spirit, and consciousness; the chaff is our body, form, and matter. While the chaff has worth, our wheat IS worth. We already talked about the two representations of separating the wheat from the chaff: one is through death, when our body returns to the earth and our soul returns to Spirit; and the other is separating from anything that doesn't resonate or align with our evolution, like our imbalances. Here we are reminded that the word “separation” isn't negative. While yes, there is a shadow form of separation — like feelings of disconnect, comparison, or unworthiness — there's also a light side of separation. For instance, separation can create choice, it can create an identity that is independent from the outer world, and it can create space between you ego and your spirit self. Some examples of separation in it's light form could be times that you remove yourself from conflict to ground yourself; it could be letting someone go with love; it could be taking space from issues so that you can discern what matters to you; or it could be unstitching from behaviors or distorted thoughts that keep you in density. It's separating the truth from a story. It's also having the awareness of separation between your soul and your body. And in that space of separation, is where you can access that vast invisible field of infinite possibilities. I believe that it's here where we create and pull forth our dreams and co-create with the Divine. So, in this case recognizing that you are consciousness in form, but you're not limited to your body, is a really great application of separation. You've heard that quote: “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”So, we're being called to treat our bodies well and to be grounded, because our souls have chosen to be here right now, in our world. We are being encouraged to move away from things that keep us in density, as it says in the book, “the next joint, the next credit card, the next car, the next ‘teacher,' the next ‘therapist,' the next creative idea you never follow through on, the next excuse, the next complaint, the next cookie.” And to know when enough is enough:.___________________________One of the most important aspects of separating the wheat from the chaff is our ability to separate our consciousness from thoughts that create dissonance.Yeshua says in this chapter, “Though I fully understand the challenges of life as a human be-ing, I am continuously baffled by how often you allow the most inconsequential, transient thoughts and worries to consume you.”If and when we find it hard to disentangle ourselves from dense, limiting thoughts — like, “I hate my body,” or “I'm doomed to never making enough money,” or “This world is out to get me,” this is a time to give it over and ask for help from the Divine. Because if we don't take space from this thought, it can quickly consume us.It's helpful to be able to start to notice our thoughts throughout the day, with as much neutrality as possible. Just notice and witness, as if your thoughts are in a thought bubble floating by. As spiritual guide Byron Katie teaches in her famous four questions, when you have a dissonant thought, ask yourself this:1. Is it true?2. Can you absolutely know that it's true?3. How do you react when you believe that thought?4. Who would you be without the thought?___________________________So right now we are in an era of our soul, the “soul that lives in Balance, transparency, fluidity, and co-creation.” As the book says, this is “not a time of the mind OR the heart. This is a time of the soul, the spirit.”Our souls are taking back their power from our minds. The wheat is our need, and the more we can be aware of our thoughts, and release attachments to our thoughts that make up the story of who we think are, the more our “unmet need for Peace is met.”And here's something to be aware of: the majority of “fear-based, repressive, suppressive, or oppressive thoughts or ideas that we have are not always ours to own.” Meaning, our thoughts don't often come from us: they slip in from the outside. We've taken on the thoughts of others throughout our life, including family, friends, partners, school, communities, and work. As it says in the book, many thoughts “are fed to you or manipulated by outside influences.”We learn that if we don't have an inner process of “discernment, awareness, witnessing, and taking healthy separation from the ‘yours and mine,' it can poison you with doubt, which then leads to distortion, reactions, and the administration of the poison to others, like a virus infecting a host.” We learn something dissonant, we believe it, and then we pass it on. And the more we feed these thoughts through our worry, panic, anger, or need to control, the more power these thoughts will have over us.This is why it's important for us to have healthy boundaries around what we read, watch, listen to, or the circles of people that we keep. It's important for us to be aware of protecting our brain and energy space. It's important to have separation. It's important to have awareness and curiosity on how thought forms slide into our heart, mind, and soul.Allowing others to dictate how we think and feel, while easy to fall into, is deeply unoriginal. So how can we move into originality? First it's to be aware of our connection to a greater consciousness.I want to read this passage on page 118 which speaks to originality and creation:“Original thought and original God-anointed mantles come through slow evolution, gestation, and birthing of something fom the realm, the space, the Void of infinite possibilities. You pluck a possibility, an original idea or concept, stitch to it, gestate it, and, when ready, it comes to your awareness, it reveals. Your heart Lights and then your mind takes whatever this seed, this concept, is, and it begins to move it into realization and manifestation. That is original creation — that does not come from form — it comes from the space of Spirit, from the wheat, and flows outward into the world.”Sounds amazing, right? However, sometimes what happens it that we takes this inspired idea that we've plucked from that vast infinite field of possibilities, and we try to shove it into unoriginal structures. We try to place it in something that fels safe, like following guidelines of what's been done before. However, as it mentions in the book, “authentic creativity merits authentic structures.” So, we are now being encouraged to get out of the “rut of complacency” and to start co-creating — with originality — within the realm of the Divine. There's one more passage I have to read because it's one that I think of often, and it's what encouraged me to create this book study of The Freedom Transmissions on this podcast:“If you wish to be original, instead of striving for the macro, the more and more, the glistening of fame and power, first strive for less and less. Refine your message, concept, expectations, and the true essence of your service. With patience and allowing, you will be well on your way. The structure that is simple, original, and fulfilling of unmet needs instead of filling your ego's wants will reveal itself naturally from there. That is true Divine originality manifest within you.”___________________________Back to the idea of bringing awareness and curiosity on how thought forms affect us. This is going to bring us into the shades of hope.So to live our lives from our wheat — our soul — and not just from our chaff, or body, we are being asked to bring awareness into our daily moments. Awareness is the first step to transforming and rebalancing our mind — and to move us deeper into living in our authentic, original design. The biggest thing that is being asked of us here? It's to seek to be ourselves. When we allow fearful thinking such as anger, worry, panic, dissatisfaction, ingratitude, it keeps us from living in the present moment. Instead we find ourselves trying to control the future while letting oursleves be dictated by the past. Essentially, we are in a loop where past predicts our future. In these moments, we are a “fly in the Web of Life,” instead of being a spider. We are living the same stories, feelings, triggers, and thought patterns over and over. Until… we wake up, stop the cycle, and move ourselves into present-moment awareness. As author and researcher Joe Dispenza says, the “best way to predict the future is to create it, not from the known but from the unknown.”This is where hope comes in. Depending on how you express it, hope can either be a wonderful energy when used in the present, or it can be a massive burden when projected out of the present. When focused in the now, hope can catalyze healing and balance. An example the book gives is, to say, “In this moment, I am hopeful and full of hope for humanity.” Or, “I have hope that even though this relationship is ending, all can be left in harmony, compassion, and kindness.”But then when hope leaves the present and is rooted in the past (which are regrets) or the future (which are wants), you may find yourself saying something like, “I hope this person will change for me,” or “I had hope that things would have worked out better for me in my life.”Dead hopes, like regrets, are burdens. True hope “restores vitality [and] inspiration.”Hope that is moved out of the present and is projected into the future, and becomes about tomorrow or want, is in its shadow form of expectation. For example, “If you use [or buy] this, you will be this…” or “If you earn this amount of money, THEN you are worthy.”As you can see, the shades of hope, light or shadow, depend on if hope is in the present, or in the past or future. And we learn that the Divine has hope: the Divine hopes that we will be ourselves. That we separate oursevles from what everyone wants us to be, say, or do. Or even what our mind wants us to be — so that we can be the original soul and spirit that we are.___________________________As we come to the end of this chapter, we are left with a question from Yeshua. He asks,“Do you hope that God is with you or know that God is with you?”Sit with this question because within it is a rite of passage. Is it the question that moves us from “personal identity to Transcendence, wheat-identity.”To quote, “When you know, to the depths of your be-ing, that God is with and within you, it is easy to hold hope in the present and release all expectations, for you have all you need, which is God. Within the Light, all things are possible.”As for hope, this is a time for us to restore our hope in its “true Divine Essence, which is rooted in Grace, compassion, and sincerity.” Such as “I hope God is with this ill person and [their] family;” “I hope society recognizes this kind person.” or “I hope to see my family for the holidays this year, and that we are all healthy and happy.” This is hope in kindness and love.As it says in the book, “Choose the hope that flows from Faith. When hope becomes a Prayer for joy, not just for you, but for all, the Earth moves. “___________________________Here's your focus until the next episode:
The Thread and Stitching of the Dreaming, Part 2 from Transmission 1: The Weaving of Spirit upon the Web of Life found in Part Two: The Freedom Transmissions, Pages ✨ 96-106In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we contine our discussion of the thread and stitching of the dreaming. Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________Here we continue moving through The Thread and Stitching of the Dreaming in The Freedom Transmissions which we started in a prior episode. In that episode, we talked about how, in our origin story, our soul is woven and stitched into our body, through our DNA, our chakras, bones, blood, and heart. We also have our sprit body, which is the invisible space around us: the strings, threads and energy that connects us to the great Web of Life. So, here's one way to think of it: think of the body and soul like a spider, and the spirit body as the silk that the spider uses to create it's web, connecting to the larger Web of Life, or the external world, in seen and unseen ways. As I mentioned in that prior episode, it might be helpful of threading and stitching as vibrations and waves. Our energy is our vibration. Everything is made of energy. So something that's important for us to continuously do is to look at what and who we're matching our energy to. What and whose frequency are we on? And what frequency are we allowing into our energy space? In other words, what are we allowing to stitch to us and what are we stitching to, including people, organizations, businesses, groups, and really anything under the umbrella of those seven imbalances? This is part of our work here as souls in body.So in this chapter we start digging into what's referred to in The Freedom Transmissions as the “wheat” and the “chaff,” which we'll dive deeper into in Transmission 2 as well. Today, we'll talk more about unstitching and unbraiding, we talk about the power of committing to our inner process, we take a look at grief (what it means and why it's an energy to be honored), and we discover what is considered the only stitch that matters right now. This is The Thread and Stitching of the Dreaming, Part 2. Please share this episode with anyone you think might be interested. ⬇️___________________________WHAT TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK
Welcome back to the second part of my interview with Carissa Schumacher. This is a continuation from our second chat we had here on Hold the Light within The Freedom Transmissions book study series. If you haven't yet listened to the first part of our conversation, click here. We cover a lot of interesting topics there including how to be in communication and partnership with the Divine, and how to deal with needs verses wants. In this episode we talk about whether or not she feels the pressure to live up to — or to match — the wisdom of Yeshua in her every day life; whether or not she considered publishing The Freedom Transmissions without the name Yeshua attached to it; what the aftermath has been like since she published the book; and we discuss two specific transmissions that Carissa felt compelled to highlight and talk about right now. Here, we continue my conversation with Carissa Schumacher.SUBSCRIBE ➡️ Join me on Substack at Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning GrossmanLINKS, LINKS, LINKS*
For this episode and the next, we're taking just a short book study break from The Freedom Transmissions to feature my new conversation with Carissa Schumacher. As you most likely know by now, Carissa is a forensic psychic medium, a spiritual guide, and she is a channel for Yeshua. The book The Freedom Transmissions are channeled transmissions she received from Yeshua. You can go into this podcast's archives to listen to the other interviews I've had with Carissa, with the most recent ones published this past September 2024. I link to everything below.Recently, Carissa and I came together again to address some questions and concepts around The Freedom Transmissions. In this episode, we talk about the phenomenon of how when we go back to re-read the book, pages, passages, or paragraphs can feel completely new, as if we've never read it; we discuss how we can sometimes feel as if we are going backwards in our spiritual evolution when re-reading the book— and Carissa addresses what it is that we're experiencing. We talk about the new era we're entering; how The Freedom Transmissions is not a self-help, do-it-this-way kind of book; she shares how we can communicate with, and be in partnership with the Divine; we talk about why Yeshua has a British accent when Carissa channels Him; and we talk about needs versus wants, and how we can we walk a spiritual path while still wanting things? This is a good one, so let's get to my latest conversation with Carissa Schumacher.GOT QUESTIONS? ➡️ Ask them here on my Google formSUBSCRIBE ➡️ Join me on Substack at Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning GrossmanLINKS, LINKS, LINKS*
The Thread and Stitching of the Dreaming, Part 1 from Transmission 1: The Weaving of Spirit upon the Web of Life found in Part Two: The Freedom Transmissions, Pages ✨ 81-96In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we discuss the thread and stitching, we take a look at “love-nots” and how to unstitch from these distortions and illusions, and also how to weave ourselves deeper to our light and authenticity. Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________Starting now we move into Part Two of The Freedom Transmissions – our focus in on the offerings that are called The Freedom Transmissions. (Part One was called The Sacred Heart Transmissions.)If it's helpful, think of threading and stitching as vibrations and waves. We each have our own vibration that is unique to us – this is our energy. And since everyone and everything is energy or frequency, we are all connected to each other and to a vast, invisible field of energy. The Web of Life. The question being asked here in this chapter is: what and whose frequency are you on? What are you stitched to, and what do you want to unstitch from? This can be people, things, places, ideas … basically any of the seven imbalances we've already discussed. As we move along our spiritual path in this lifetime, burying our head in the sand becomes unsustainable. So we must look at the imbalances and distortions that keep us in density so that we can begin to unstitch from them and begin to weave back into our natural essence. When we unstitch, we restore the clear vision of who we are. And who are we? We're light, we're love, we're divine. So, let's think about this tapestry, this Web of Life, that we weave with. It's not just what we see before us, our quote “reality.” It extends into the unseen… into the universe. It's everything, everywhere, all at once.At the heart of it all is Love. The teachings share that “when it is said that you are Love, it is not just your soul or body–the entire stitching and threading of the vibration that you are is OF the fabric of Love.”So, we are stitched in love and to love. But guess what? We are also stitched in “love-nots” – these love-nots are things like our ancestor story and personal karma. As you can imagine, being stitched to these love-nots are what results in the imbalances and distortions. In today's episode we'll take a look at the definition of threading and stitching according to The Freedom Transmissions, we will look at the Web of Life and how we are all interconnected, we'll discuss how to unstitch from our imbalances and distortions, we'll look at why practicing present moment awareness is so important for our spiritual lives, and finally how we can raise our vibration in order to connect with our true essence and nature.___________________________WHAT TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK
The Chambers of the Sacred Heart from Part One: The Sacred Heart Transmissions Pages ✨ 67 - 76In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we discuss The Chambers of the Sacred Heart — what Sacred Heart is, what the chambers are, and the energies that infuse the Sacred Heart. Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________In this episode, we move into learning about the Sacred Heart. This is the final chapter under The Sacred Heart Transmissions, which is Part 1 of the book The Freedom Transmissions. Here's why it's helpful for us to understand the Sacred Heart: because this is the gateway that connects us to our divine self. The Sacred Heart is the foundation and structure for embodying greater peace in our lives. It's where we find freedom. So, what is the Sacred Heart? The Sacred Heart, as it says in the book, is “the Center, your center, united with the Center of Gaia, of the sun, of the universe, and of God. It is the intersection of the dreaming and dreamer, creation and creator, subconscious and conscious, seen and unseen.”It is where the horizontal meets the vertical. Within the Sacred Heart, there are the four chambers, or energies, that complete it. These are:* Simplicity* Stability* Surrender* StillnessSo, think of the Sacred Heart as a medicine wheel where these four energies intersect at the center point. At this intersection is where we find Freedom. When we embody the four energies, we are in balance and peace. As the teachings tell us, “This space exists within you at all times, but you must choose to find and illuminate it.” And when we do, we'll connect with the Divine. This space and these energies exist within us at all time – basically we were created from these energies, so we always carry them with us. We don't need to go looking for this outside of ourselves – it's within us. Unfortunately, these energies are not so highly valued in our world. Our complex, noisy, controlling world, where entitlement, ownership, image, arrogance, and expectations take up a lot of space. It's a demanding world that dulls our discernment and intuition. A world addicted to chaos, anxiety, and substances. When we don't take time away from all of this, it can make us feel like we are spiraling out of control.Luckily, there's a solution: it's prioritizing these energies of simplicity, stability, surrender, and stillness. This can help us restore our Peace. It can help us to experience more joy and connection, independent of our external reality. In this episode, we'll take a closer look at — and ask some questions around — the four chambers/energies of the Sacred Heart.___________________________WHAT TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK
The Three Veils and Seven Imbalances of the Mind, Part 2 from Part One: The Sacred Heart Transmissions ✨ ✨ Pages 60-66In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we discuss The Three Veils, and how they relate to the Seven Imbalances of the Mind. We'll look each Veil and what we can do to lift them. Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________In this episode, we are discussing the Three Veils from the chapter The Three Veils and Seven Imbalances of the Mind in The Freedom Transmissions. In the last episode we reviewed all seven imbalances, so be sure to listen to that first if you haven't yet. This next part of the chapter is important to understand because it gives us deeper knowledge about the root or origin of the Seven Imbalances of the Mind. And with deeper insight about how the imbalances developed, we gain deeper insight on how to restore them to Balance. The Three Veils represent separation. They are what created the distorted lenses of perception, otherwise known as The Seven Imbalances of the Mind.As it says in the book, “The thicker the Veils, the deeper of the Seven Imbalances.”For those in deep unconsciousness, the Veils can be thick; for others who are blending and integrating their light and shadow into balance, the Veils can be nearly transparent.Click play to learn about the Three Veils, what each one represents, and what we can do to begin to lift them. Thanks all. Keep holding the light.___________________________WHAT TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK Do the homework on page 66 in the book or at the very end of the chapter of The Three Veils and Seven Imbalances of the Mind in the audiobook, at the 47:07 mark in the second part of the chapter in the audiobook. (There is a two part recording of this chapter.)
The Three Veils and Seven Imbalances of the Mind, Part 1 from Part One: The Sacred Heart Transmissions ✨ Pages 34-60In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we learn about the seven imbalances of the mind — how they show up in ourselves and in our lives, how they hold us back, and how we can create freedom and peace around them. Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________I've decided to break up this chapter from The Freedom Transmissions into two different episodes because of the depth of the content. It's a chapter that's really important for us to take some time with, because it helps us to know ourselves and how we're currently keeping ourselves in density. Essentially, we're looking at what holds us back from living in our true essence — our true nature — and peace. Before we move forward with the other transmissions in this book, we need to start here. The good news is that this chapter also offers ways to move from that density into greater freedom. What are the imbalances? They're areas in our lives where, essentially, we “miss the mark” in embodying our divinity. They are errors in perception. It's where we miss the mark in embracing love over fear. And so, today we are going through each of the Seven Imbalances of the Mind; how they express themselves, how we can transcend them. As taught in The Freedom Transmissions, “The Seven Imbalances are the ego's distortions in perceptions, actions, projections, and behaviors. They are what contribute to and create the illusion self, the ‘supposed to' self, the ‘story of self' that causes you to see yourself through a lens of distortions, which you then project onto others and the world.”These imbalances are specifically found on pages 34-60. In the next episode, we'll focus on the other part of this chapter, The Three Veils. Thanks for listening. Keep holding the light. __________________________WHAT TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK
I AM Yeshua from Part One: The Sacred Heart Transmissions ✨ Pages 23 - 33In this chapter of The Freedom Transmissions, we learn about Yeshua — who he is and how he is there to work with us as we move thorough the transmissions. Here I am reflecting upon the book from my own lens. I share only my own thoughts, learnings, and ideas._____________________I like to think of this chapter as a meet and greet with Yeshua. He introduces himself to us, and then also shares a bit about to expect as we move through The Freedom Transmissions. So, who IS Yeshua?Well, as He explains, He is Peace, He is your peace, the Essence of your Be-ing.When we choose peace, we choose our true selves. So here, Yeshua is telling us that through the process of going through these transmissions and meditations and prayers found, we'll be making more room for our true selves. And here's how: through a dismantling of the illusion self and “all of the imbalances, complexity, and stress that the ‘supposed to' self creates” for us. So by connecting with His wisdom and clarity, we're going to learn how to leap deeper into our own peace, balance, faith, forgiveness, and freedom. Here's something that's important to know: Yeshua says that you don't even have to believe in Him or have Faith in Him, or understand Him to receive His Grace. He still works through you no matter what you believe in. And here's why: it's because, as Yeshua says, you are not separate from Him. You are Him and He is you. This is the co-creation part. This is the we-are-never-alone part. This is the I-am-one-with-the-Divine part. In this chapter, this is what Yeshua is expressing to us.He's here to assist each of us in “feeling and living the essence of Peace every day more.”By finding yourself here, reading The Freedom Transmissions at this point in time, it's a shared moment with Yeshua — or as He says,“This is OUR moment.” There is no division or separation. You are heeding a call that requires courage, because guess what: If you're finding yourself here, according to Yeshua, you are part of the pioneers ushering in an Era of Balance, Transparency, and Peace. It can't come to us until we come to it. This is what He wants us to know. Keep listening as we dig further into this chapter. Thanks for listening. Keep holding the light. __________________________WHAT TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK

If you believe in spirit guides, are curious about spirit guides, or even wonder what it's like to connect with loved ones who have crossed over, this episode is for you.I'm in a community of women where every week we talk about things that are somehow related to the spiritual or personal growth space. No topic or idea is off limits or judged, from energy healers to forensic mediums to equine therapists, we love sharing information about what we've discovered, tried, or have heard about. When one friend mentioned that they had a reading with a psychic medium that blew her mind, of course we all wanted details. This psychic medium is my guest today, Kathy Taylor. Kathy is a fourth-generation medium and has trained under Psychic Medium Lisa Williams with her International School of Spiritual Development and is certified as a Psychic Medium. To date, Kathy has done approximately 4,000 private readings, working with clients internationally. At the top of this year when we heard that she was reading for a live audience, I flew to New Jersey to see Kathy in person with my dear soul sister Jenn. We were both blown away by what we had witnessed. After the event was over, I knew that I wanted to talk with Kathy here on Hold the Light. As you'll hear, this is where we start the conversation. We also talk about how she connects with people and spirit guides on the other side; she share one of the first lessons she learned about being a psychic medium; and she talks about our teams of Spirit guides – what and who they are made up of, and how we can each discover the main players on our personal teams.LEARN MORE ABOUT KATHY TAYLOR* Website: Hellofromabove.com* Instagram: @mediumkaytay* Spiritual Academy: Join HereHold the Light with Laurie Gunning Grossman is a reader-supported publication. In this solo episode, I share my thoughts on the statement "Courage over comfort." It's been one of my guiding lights this past year, but I had an interesting encounter with someone who didn't like that phrase. I'm sharing my story here -- and I also ask, who are we to know what's best for others? How can we strengthen our internal guidance system so that we make choices in our life based on our inner knowing and intuition. As Esther and Jerry Hicks (of Abraham-Hicks) says:“Others cannot understand the vibrational content of your desires, and they cannot understand the vibrational content of who you are, so they are not in any way equipped to guide you. Even when they have the very best intentions and want your absolute well-being, they do not know. And even though many of them attempt to be unselfish, it is never possible for them to separate their desire for you from their own desire for themselves.”YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE:Episode 1: How 20 Seconds of Courage Can Transform Your LifeDo You Think You Know What's Best?ABOUT LAURIE GUNNING GROSSMANInstagram: @laurie.gunning.grossmanNewsletter: HTL with Laurie Gunning Grossman (on Substack)Free Meditations & Affirmations: Visit HoldTheLightCollective.comInstagram: @holdthelightcollectiveTHE HTL PODCAST CREWCreator, producer, and host: Laurie Gunning GrossmanCo-producer and audio mixer/sound guru: Jonathan GrossmanOriginal music: Jonathan GrossmanHold the Light podcast is recorded and mixed at Night Shift Audio in Los Angeles, CAFIND US AT:Website: Holdthelightcollective.comNewsletter: SubstackLaurie on IG: @laurie.gunning.grossmanHold the Light on IG: @holdthelightcollectiveEXCLUSIVE! For those on a spiritual growth path, or for those who are curious on how to cultivate this path, we often wonder how we can weave spirituality into our day-to-day lives. In a recent conversation on this podcast I asked my spiritual teacher Carissa Schumacher this question. I wanted to know: how can we hold the light and build it into a daily practice for ourselves? What structure is most conducive to opening our channel so that we can stay connected to our spirit and to the unseen? Especially when our lives can get consumed with a lot of doing, instead of simply being.Carissa, who is an intuitive psychic, medium, channel for Yeshua (or Christ Consciousness), and co-creator of the book The Freedom Transmissions has several suggestions for what could be helpful. She says to take what serves you and leave the rest behind. Something to keep in mind as you listen, Carissa mentions the vertical and the horizontal in this conversation. If you haven't already listened to my full conversation with her on Episode 23 where she discusses this in detail, here are some crib notes: the vertical is our being or our consciousness – it's that part of us that is Spirit inhabiting form. And the horizontal is our human lives, our egos, our identity constructs, and the societal norms that are placed within that. It's basically our day-to-day lives, based in the realm of the doing. To listen to my full conversation with Carissa Schumacher – which of course I highly recommend – visit the show notes or find Episode 23 here on Hold the Light podcast.ABOUT CARISSA SCHUMACHERWebsite: TheSpiritTransmissions.comRead: The Freedom TransmissionsRead on Substack: Why Hold the Light? In this episode, I talk about the importance of self-trust – and how it's crucial for living an authentic life. I look at the value of silence and stillness as a way to connect with one's inner voice and intuition, in addition to the power of making and keeping commitments to oneself to strengthen the self-trust muscle. Ultimately, this is about encouraging us all to define our own identities and make choices autonomously.Highlights:How external voices and societal pressures often lead us to abandon our inner truths to fit in and feel safe.Building self-trust involves committing to actions that align with one's authentic self, such as daily routines and meditation.I share my experience of successfully completing a meditation program, which reinforced my self-trust.How making and keeping commitments to ourselves strengthens the self-trust muscle and gives meaning to our word. How to define our identities, values, and boundaries, promoting authenticity and autonomy. The need to trust others' choices regarding their lives, bodies, and beliefs is emphasized, fostering a culture of trust and respect.Hold the Light podcast aims to support and guide lifelong learners and light holders in deepening their connection to personal and spiritual growth.
