Tonight, we dig into the archives to present to you a throwback interview with Republican candidate Kimberly Klacik. It was a great discussion and it shows a warm and compassionate side of Ms. Klacik, who has been getting criticized for her public support for Donald Trump and criticism for Democrats, though she represents Baltimore, a majority Black city. We didn't talk politics in this discussion but as far as we know, she wasn't even into politics yet, at least she hadn't gone public yet. For those of you who like or dislike Ms. Klacik, you'll get to see what she was up to and how she conducted herself during that time. We also had a conversation about stalkers and crazy exes that was fun and hilarious. You definitely don't wanna miss that! Listen and enjoy and we will be back with a live show next week. Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be talking Karens! Over the past year and even more so recently, Karens have been a hot social media topic and no, not in a good way. Some of you may be asking yourself "What the hell is a Karen?" Well Wikipedia would tell you "A common stereotype is that of a racist white woman who uses her privilege to demand her own way at the expense of others." That sounds pretty accurate to us, as time and time again you see videos of White women speaking down on and making unnecessary and unreasonable demands against people, usually of color, but Karens even attack their own. You can find plenty of footage of White men and women arguing with Karens as they defend friends, neighbors or in some cases, complete strangers, from these cruel attacks. Usually Karens are middle aged to elderly white women, but Karens come in all age groups. You can find Karens in their 20's, wreaking the same havoc as their older counterparts. Typical Karen behavior would be a neighbor knocking on your door and threatening to call the police because you're having a barbeque on a nice summer day and have guests and music in the backyard. She lives about 5 doors down and all of your other neighbors are fine, but Karen has to make her presence felt and rain down on your parade. After you don't comply to her demands, in typical Karen fashion, she calls the police and when the police arrive and realize how petty the call was, they go have a talk with Karen, ask her to not watste their time, and leave without further incident. Oh, but you better believe you haven't seen the last of Karen, as you have now made a sworn enemy! So what about White men who display this same behavior? What do we call them? Some say Male Karens, some say Todd, some say Chad, the list is endless. Well tonight we'll be attempting to define an official name for the Karen's male counterparts. It Just Got Real!
Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be acknowledging Juneteenth, its history and its impact on Blacks in America. Juneteenth has recently received media exposure and many Americans who knew nothing or very little about it, have now been introduced to the tradition. Juneteenth is a day of remembrance for all Black Americans as it symbolizes freedom. 47 of the 50 U.S. sates celebrate or acknowledge Juneteenth. The 3 states that don't acknowledge Juneteenth are North Dakota, South Dakota and Hawaii. Since the senseless killings of George Floyd and more recently Rayshard Brooks along with other innocent/unarmed Black men and women, America has started to acknowledge the pain and suffering of Blacks that date all the way back to slavery. Many Americans are fed up and have now joined the fight to conquer systemic racism, racial profiling, police brutality and other forms of mistreatment of Black Americans. 2020 has brought more awareness to these deeply rooted issues than most of us can remember. Join us tonight as we pay homage to a day that symbolizes freedom of Black Americans. We encourage those of you who are still unfamiliar with this day to do your research. You will learn a lot about American history and how deeply rooted historical events have damaged Blacks for generations. You will also learn how resilient Blacks are as they fought long and hard for their freedom and eventually racial equality (which is still an ongoing battle). As always, you know the crew will hold no punches and spare no one! It Just Got Real! The first episode of It Just Got Real is about as real as it could possibly get. Cheraé shares what it means to be a travel company in the middle of a pandemic. Then, we talk about being true to your purpose, even when everything around you feels precarious. Also what's up in pop culture? The Weeknd album that's what. Spoiler: we may or may not have varying opinions on that record. Welcome to our show!
"It Just Got Real" was a very tough episode to release. I shared how my own mom was in the hospital being treated for various life-threatening after effects of COVID-19. Our whole family came together over the past 2 weeks to really show our strength, unity, and love for our mom. In that episode, I was very honest about how the pandemic had only affected us financially until my mom was in the hospital. It just got real and suddenly, I didn't care about money too much.My mom was discharged with oxygen and prescriptions to heal at home a few days ago. It was a miracle and just in time for Mother's Day. In honor of my mom, I am using this episode to tell her story and impact on my life.I love you Mom!Your adoring son,Kenny III

After 5 long years of appearing on It's Real Talk Radio, due to personal reasons, Nizzy took an indefinite leave of absence from the show. Our dedicated listeners remember Nizzy's sudden exit and how the show took a major hit and was never the same, right? Well tonight, we have a treat for you all as we welcome back Nizzy Nay, queen of It's Real Talk Radio! There's no surprise the show didn't have the same energy and vibe once Nizzy left but now that Nizzy's back, you are about to get the same IRTR you've grown to love over the past 5 years. Tonight's topic is knowing at what point it's time to exit a relationship. Many of us think we have it all figured out and are always putting our foot down at the drop of a hat but some of us are lying to ourselves and are in denial as we continue to accept mental, emotional, psychological and physical abuse from our partners. It sounds like a no brainer, just get rid of the person, right? Ha ha, if only life were that simple. Well tonight is a special show, not only because Nizzy is back, but also because Nizzy is going to give us an inside look at her relationship that has gone on for the past 3 years. Holding back no punches, Nizzy will be discussing the good, the bad and the ugly. Rest assured, no stone will be left unturned. Tay will be asking the hard questions and Nizzy will be giving the hard answers. The motivation behind tonight's topic is to let other women and men out there who are having relationship issues know that they aren't alone and that it's okay to talk about it. There's nothing to be ashamed about and IRTR has your back. Nothing changed, it's still the same slogan, It Just Got Real! Tonight on It's Real Talk Radio, we're asking would you be open to an arranged marriage? There are millions of arranged marriages annually throughout the world and statistics show that arranged marriages have a much lower divorce rate than traditional marriages or (Free-choice marriage). So what are "Arranged Marriages"? Arranged Marriages are when the families of a bride and groom preselect the potential husband or wife of their child or loved one. Statistics show that a success and satisfaction rate of up to 90% for those in arranged marriages as opposed to about 50% of traditional (American) marriages resulting in success while the other have results in divorce or separation of some sort. But why is this the case? What is it about "Arranged Marriages" that statistically allow them to be so successful? Well tune in tonight as the crew will be breaking down their views on this controversial topic. This is a much needed topic right now. Recently, there's been too many police fatal shootings of police on civilians and vice versa. When will it stop and what needs to happen to reverse the psycho??? Well tonight it's time to dive in on all the controversy. One thing's for sure and two things for certain. All lives matter: Black, Blue, White, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, ALL LIVES MATTER!!! But, in all fairness, we have to look at the group who is mostly affected by these slayings from police and it's Blacks who are the most sought out and victimized. On the flipside, innocent officers are being slayed and there's no place in society neither. It's a two-way street. There's more to discuss so tune in because it's time to really break this down. Tonight we'll be discussing why it's not in your best interest to date an ex. Dating an ex is not that uncommon but usually results in another heartbreak, frustration and an up and down/roller coaster type relationship when the truth of the matter is if it didn't work the first time, it's unlikely to work the second time and the second time may be worse because your expectations will automatically be set higher than they were the first time but people are who they are and very rarely do people change (especially just to satisfy another person). Well we'll be breaking down this controversial discussion tonight, so don't miss out. Dial 347-838-9540 to listen by phone. It Just Got Real! Tonight we'll be discussing a topic we've never covered before. "Should Single Mothers Give Their Children Their Father's Last Name?" This is a very controversial topic because most people seem to have their father's last name but most of us have at least a few friends and family members who have their mother's last name. It's American tradition and most cultures traditions to name their children after their father, so when we see children named after their mom, eyebrows tend to get raised. The main question of this discussion is "If the mother has reason to believe that she's going be raising this child alone, should she give the child her last name or follow tradition and still give the child their father's last name? What if the pregnant mother was mentally or physically abused by the father before and during her pregnancy? Should that father be stripped of his privilege to give his child his last name? It doesn't get any more controversial than tonight's topic and nearly every last American citizen can relate to this in some way because 95% of us were named after either our mothers or fathers and to some, this is a big deal. Having your child named after you is the ultimate honor and some men take it to heart if their child isn't named after them and will even go as far as totally distancing themselves in the process. Oh yes, it gets deep! This is why we had to do a show on it. If you have a view or are just interested in this topic, make sure you don't miss out! It Just Got Real! Tonight we're talking about the infamous "Thirst Traps." So what are Thirst Traps? Well the term "Thirst Trap" originated from the term "Thirsty" which is basically when one gender (typically a man) is head over heels craving for the opposing gender (typically a woman) and is going above and beyond to press the issue of getting some play and special attention from that person. Steve Urkel would be considered Thirsty and so would Pepé Le Pew. The term "Thirst Trap" was created to counter the term "Thirsty" by implicating that some people become "Thirsty" because of Thirst Traps. A Thirst Trap is when someone (typically a woman) presents their self in such an exotic/provocative way that people crave for them typically in a sexually manner. A prime example of a Thirst Trap would be Ms. Parker on the first Friday. When Ms. Parker was bending over in those Daisy Dukes and making Smokey & Craig drool over her, that was a Thirst Trap. So now that we've got the meaning out the way, we must ask ourselves why so many women are creating Thirst Traps, especially on social media. Granted when you're attractive, you're attractive, but some go above and beyond to reveal themselves to the world. Well tonight we're gonna be going in on this topic so don't miss out. Tonight on "It's Real Talk Radio" we have 2 current, interesting and controversial topics. Yup, we're sticking to current events tonight! On the first half of our show, we'll be discussing the breaking news of Ciara suing her ex-boyfriend and child's father, Future who is a current rapper. Future has been known for being vocal about his issues with Ciara on social media and in his music while Ciara has played more of the "Kill em with silence and Child Support role." We just recently did a show on Child Support so this topic will lead to us revisiting some of the things we talked about in that show. We're looking very forward to getting on air and giving our 2 cents on this topic. On the second half of our show, we'll be discussing the accusations of Diddy or Puff (whichever you prefer) paid to have Rap Legend Tupac Shakur assassinated. Former L.A.P.D. Detective Greg Kading states that in his new documentary "Murder Rap", he'll be providing detailed proof of what he believes took place that ultimately lead to the murder of Tupac including interviews with key witnesses. Greg Kading was the lead investigator for the Biggie murder case which like the Tupac murder case was left unsolved but most, including Greg himself, feel like both murders are related. What our question is for our listeners is: Do you think Diddy truly may have been the man who contracted the murder of Tupac and if so, what would he have had to gain? Well tonight we'll be sharing our opinions on this controversial topic, so don't miss out! Callers are welcome. 347-838-9540. There's a lot of controversy surrounding light skinned women, their attitudes and personas. Light skinned women tend to have a reputation for being rude, arrogant and self-absorbed. They also have a reputation for being beautiful and highly desired. This tends to create some friction between medium shaded and darker toned women who tend to think light skinned women give men a hard way to go and are making it harder for other women to find a good man after corrupting their minds from how they treat their men. Do you agree with those accusations or do you think they're over hyped and stereotypical? Well tonight we'll be dissecting this myth and sharing our opinions and experiences in this controversial topic. Callers are welcome. Call In #347-838-9540. Tonight on "It's Real Talk Radio" we'll be discussing people who lie about being victims of physical and sexual abuse. Thousands of people in America alone go to jail every year over these false allegations which damages families, sabotages jobs and ultimately ruins lives. When you accuse someone of abuse, you are painting them out to be a monster, low life, scum of the earth. So the question we're asking everyone is "Do you think people who falsify these allegations deserve to be charged and face possible jail time if it is proven that they are lying under oath?" Well tonight we'll be sharing our thoughts and we invite you to join us on this sensitive yet controversial topic. Call in # 347-838-9540. As always, we won't be holding any punches. Tonight we'll be discussing Child Support and the laws that surround it. The question we're asking is do you agree with parents being forced to pay child support against their will? Some may argue "Well he or she is the parent so why shouldn't they have to pay?" Well what about the parents who have joined custody and split time down the middle? What about the parents who split custody weekly meaning one gets the child 7 days and the other parent gets the child for the other 7 days but the child has one primary address which would likely be the custodial parent's address? So because that parent is deemed the custodial parent (even though the time is split 14 days a piece in a 28 day span), you think that parent should be awarded Child Support? Child Support impacts millions of lives in America alone and it's a sensitive topic to some but it has to get addressed here on "It's Real Talk Radio" because there's a lot to be said and since real is what we thrive on, there's no better platform to have this discussion. Callers are welcome for this topic, so don't miss out because we're not holding back any punches!
