Le 11 janvier 1993, dans l'incendie de la maison du Dr ROMAND, à Prévessin dans l'Ain, on vient de découvrir sa femme et ses deux enfants, morts. Le Dr, est le seul survivant. Il est emmené entre la vie et la mort, à l'hôpital de Genève. On veut alors prévenir ses parents dans le Jura, et on découvre avec stupeur, que ses parents aussi, sont morts.
