Michelle O'Connell's death in 2010 is shrouded in mystery to this day. She was found dead from a gunshot wound, and her death was initially ruled a suicide. Over time though, questions arose due to her troubled relationship with her boyfriend, Jeremy Banks, who was also a sheriff's deputy in St. Augustine, Florida. Despite evidence suggesting foul play, the case was closed, leaving her family frustrated and seeking justice. The case gained national attention as it raised concerns about law enforcement bias and the handling of domestic violence cases. Michelle's family continues to fight for a proper investigation, hoping to uncover the truth. ***TRIGGER WARNING*** Domestic Abuse | Talk of Suicide | Gun Violence Hang with us: Follow Us on Instagram Like Us on Facebook Join our Case Discussion Group on Facebook Get Killer Queens Merch Bonus Episodes Check Out our Amazing Sponsors: OneSkin: Get 15% off OneSkin with the code QUEENS at https://www.oneskin.co/ #oneskinpod Want More Ways to Support the Show? S4 E11 - Collective Blue - Justice for Michelle O'Connell CW/TW - mention of suicide, domestic violence, brief mention of sexual assault due to statistics Michelle O'Connell's death was initially ruled as a suicide, but the circumstances surrounding her death were questionable. Her boyfriend, a police officer named Jeremy Banks, reported the shooting. However, a second independent investigation revealed new evidence that suggested her death was probably a homicide. It seemed like Michelle had everything to live for, which raises the question of why she would take her own life. The assumption of suicide seems too convenient, especially given the involvement of a police officer. It's time to uncover the truth behind Michelle O'Connell's untimely death. 1. Your colleague and right-hand man at Team NBS Media (and a regular on this program as well) Jeff Barnes said that this LB group is one of the weakest positions in this year's draft. Do you agree? 2. When it comes to Trenton Simpson, what is THE absolute best role for him off the bat? 3. The dilemma when it comes to Drew Sanders for whoever selects him is to either make him a pass rusher most of the time, or to continue and develop his still raw off-ball LB chops and make him a Tremaine Edmunds kind of weapon for your defense. Lance Zierlein of NFL.com believes Drew Sanders can evolve into the latter while Doug Farrar of the USA Today Touchdown Wire believes Sanders will be best as a full-time pass rusher with a healthy amount of box snaps a la Connor Barwin. Do you agree with Zierlein or Farrar's assessment...and why? 4. Even if Jack Campbell's play never lives up to his athletic testing, does the team that selects him have every reason to believe he will be a high-floor, long-term starter for them? 5. Given the premium NFL teams place on linebackers that can cover ground in a hurry these days, would it surprise you if Daiyan Henley hears his name called in the late third round, if not sooner? 6. Buy Or Sell: DeMarvion Overshown, Henry To'o To'o, Yasir Abdullah, Ventrell Miller, Owen Pappoe, Dorian Williams, Noah Sewell, Ivan Pace, Jr., Jeremy Banks, SirVocea Dennis, Aubrey Miller, Jr., Mohamoud Diabate
The Atlanta Falcons are looking to make progress in 2023, which leads to questions over whether or not they will make a change at quarterback. Given the lack of urgency from ownership, Daniel Flick (FanNation) tells Aaron Freeman why he believes the Falcons will ride it out with Desmond Ridder this season rather than make the bold move to trade for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. However, Daniel expects the boldest move made this offseason will be signing Cincinnati Bengals safety Jessie Bates in free agency and why they will improve Richie Grant's play in 2023. Pass-rusher Arnold Ebiketie is another player that is poised for improvement in 2023 as Daniel's top breakout candidate. They also discuss which players stood out at this past year's East-West Shrine Bowl, including Louisville cornerback Kei'Trel Clark, TEnnessee linebacker Jeremy Banks, Wake Forest wide receiver A.T.
