(This podcast was previously published on December 24, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    God created the heaven and the earth and kept them in place by HIS Word.  At the end, before Jesus returns, God shakes the power of the heaven and the earth.   The prophets of the Old Testament saw the end of this present world.   Joel 2:1-2  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in MY holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;  A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.   Joel 2:30-32   And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.   The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.   And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.   Amos 5:18-20  Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.  As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.  Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?   Isaiah 13:13   Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.   In the 1980's, I had this dream:  The earth slipped on its axis.  People were terrified.  The governments of men were meeting with the scientists and with the religious leaders to see what might be done about this problem.  (Nothing can be done for it will be God causing the earth to slip.)  A TV newsman was trying to give a report about the happening and he was so terrified he couldn't continue speaking.  He just stopped and walked out of the newsroom.   Jesus tells of this end time:   Matthew 24:21-22  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.   29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30-31  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   Then God destroys this present heaven and earth by fire:   *****   II Peter 3   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on December 22, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Matthew 24 Jesus says:   29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31  And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   When the sun and the moon go dark and the stars fall from heaven, know that the coming of Jesus and the end of this present world is very close!   God keeps the solar system in place now but when God shakes the powers of heaven, everything changes.  The earth will be moved and the entire heavens will be changed by God and affected.   Notice the following concerning this earth:   Isaiah 13:13  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.   God gave me a dream in the mid-80's as follows:   The earth slipped on its axis.  People were very frightened.  The governments of men and the scientists and the religious leaders were meeting to see what might be done about this.  (Nothing can be done for it is God who has made this happen.)  A TV newscaster was trying to report the story on TV but he was so frightened that he just stopped speaking and stood up and left the studio.   What about the 14 plagues and woes of the great tribulation?   (Discussed on this Podcast)   *****   I believe these scriptures show us that the order of the end times will be:   * Many antichrist move into the churches as ministers speak perverse things, and the churches fall away from various scriptures.   (II Thess. 2:3-4)  This has been happening since the death of Paul.  (Acts 20:29-30) Thus the church divided into denominations.  Many antichrist doctrines are taught in the churches today. Many doctrines are opposite to that doctrine of Christ taught in the Bible.   Example: Mt. 5:32  Jesus says: " ... and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." Churches teach another doctrine today and permit men to marry divorced women.  This is antichrist.   *  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.   * The great tribulation is sent by God:  (Revelation 8, 9, 16)   * Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: (Matthew 24:29)   * Then Jesus comes through the clouds and gathers the church to Himself.  (Matthew 24:30) ***   Specific information about the great tribulation:   God directed me to focus on the following:  1/3 of the earth as shown in the first, second, and third plagues.   Revelation 8:   6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.   7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.   8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.   10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.   (The concept I was given is since "the third part" of the earth was affected, the other parts of the earth might not even recognize the happening being the plagues of the great tribulation.  And many people in this world do not even know there is such as thing as the great tribulation.  They will look to science for answers.)   Example:  In 2020, great fires raged in the Amazon rain forest, and in sand island in Australia, and in California, destroying large portions of trees and land.  The people who lived in other parts of the world might be unaware this was happening.  Therefore some of the tribulations might go unnoticed.  (I would have missed both Amazon and Australia except for fact that I saw this listed on CNN on my Internet.)   Woe #4 when the sun and moon and stars go dark for 1/3 of the time will awaken everyone to the problem.   The primary situation showing the coming of Jesus is the shaking of the solar system by God for then comes Jesus.   So when the sun goes dark and the moon fails to give light and the stars begin to fall look up for your redemption grows nigh.  

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on December 25, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   The word, "Rapture", is used in many churches to describe the church being removed from this present earth and taken into heaven.   The first time I ever heard this word, "Rapture" used at church, I was very shocked.   I checked New Testament Bible and found this word, "Rapture", is not in the Bible.  It is a word that was made up by man.   I never use this word to describe the church being taken into heaven.   The following scriptures wonderfully tell us what will happen:   I Thessalonians 4:13-17 ... The dead in Christ rise first.   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.   14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.   15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).   16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   ("In the air" is very important for it shows us Jesus' kingdom will not be on the present earth.  After we are removed from this earth, God will destroy this heaven and earth by fire.  We will be in our new spiritual bodies and will be taken to the New Heaven and the New Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.)   I Corinthians 15:48-52  ... We are changed into new spiritual bodies.   48  As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.   49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.   (On this earth we have the physical form resembling our parents.  In heaven we will have the form of God and Jesus which is a spiritual form.)   50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   ***** An artist depicted the rising of the church but this artist showed individuals rising out of their autos in their present physical bodies.  This will not happen.  First those on the earth at the time Jesus returns will be changed into the spiritual bodies.  This physical body does not rise for it is corruptible, subject to physical disease and pain and emotions which are hurtful.  In heaven, there will be no pain, nor sorrow, nor death ... thus in heaven there will be no physical type body as we know the body today.   ***   Revelation 21:1-5  ...  We are taken to the new heaven and the new earth.   1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.   ***   II Peter 3:10-14  ... When will Jesus return? He'll return when the Father sends him back to earth to establish His eternal kingdom. Not a moment before. Until then, we are to remain confident in Christ, active in our presentation of the gospel, and vigilant as we wait for Him.

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on November 18, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Dream from God:   The earth slipped on its axis.  People were terrified.  The governments of men and the scientists and religious leaders were meeting to see what could be done about this.  Nothing could be done for this was from God.  A newscaster was giving a report of this on TV.  He was so frightened that he stopped speaking in the middle of his report and got up and walked out of the studio.   The prophet Isaiah spoke of what would happen at the end of time.  Isaiah 13:13  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.   This is exactly what I saw in the dream God gave me sometime in the mid-1980's.   Jesus also spoke of this in Matthew 24:29-31.   29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:   30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.   31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.   *****   We read, starting in Revelation Chapter 8, of the great tribulation that comes from God at the end of this world.   Notice the 4th plague in the following:   Revelation 8   6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.   7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.   8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;  9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.   10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;  11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.   With the first 3 plagues, notice how they involved a third part of the earth.  Recently this was called to my attention.  These 3 plagues might happen in different parts of this world.  Until verse 12 happens, it might not even be realized that the great tribulation had begun.   12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.   When verse 12 happens, everyone, all people of this earth, will know "something" has happened to all this world.   13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!   There are 14 total plagues before the end of this world when God destroys this present heaven and earth by fire.  But after the 4th plague when the sun goes dark for 1/3 of the normal day, and the moon and stars fail to shine for 1/3 part of the day, everyone will know the great tribulation from God has begun.   ***   Man fails to repent.   Revelation 9   6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.   20  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:   21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.   Even today, we see ministers who will not repent of those things they speak wrongly, making things up concerning the Bible.  They even admit when confronted that the Bible does not say that which they said, but they have no sorrow for the way they made things up.  And they will not repent over that which they have done.   And their congregations know things are wrong but they stay in their church groups regardless.   2 Thessalonians 2   10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:   12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven. — Mark 13:24-27 The world will shake. The sky will go dark. The celestial order will collapse. And then, the Son comes. Not calmly in a manger. Not humbly on an ass. But in the clouds, through the sky, with power and in glory. Jesus gives his disciples a vision of the end, but not to frighten them. To focus them. Because at the end of the chaos, there is a Conquering King. He's not coming to suffer. He's coming to reign for all time. In the ancient world, clouds were often seen as symbols of divine authority and power from heaven. So when Jesus says He's coming "in the clouds," He's declaring exactly what Daniel saw centuries earlier (Daniel 7): The Son of Man receiving dominion, glory, and an eternal kingdom. When all you see is tribulation, your heart will be filled with fear. But if you, like me, fix your eyes on Jesus breaking through the clouds, you'll be filled with hope and live free from all fear. This is where the story is headed. Not endless darkness. Not endless division. Not endless waiting. The Son of God is coming again. And he's not coming to negotiate. He's not coming to debate, persuade, or die. He is coming to gather. To collect His people. To finish what He started. To make all things right. So lift your eyes. Stop getting lost in headlines. Don't be shaken by the shaking. Because one day, what you believe in faith, you'll see with your own eyes. Faith will become sight. Hope will become reality. In what ways do you live like Jesus could return at any moment? What would you do differently if you knew He was returning tomorrow? DO THIS: When you're tempted to fear the future, speak this out loud: “Jesus is coming back—and He's bringing glory with Him.” PRAY THIS: Jesus, I place my hope in your return. It marks the momentous occasion when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus's followers, empowering us to spread the gospel. God's presence attributes joy and delight to Pentecost, making it a critical event that signifies the birth of the church and believers' empowerment. Shavuot, or the Feast of Weeks, concludes a significant period of anticipation following Passover. Observers commemorate this festival by reading the Ten Commandments and partaking in the harvest of wheat, lauded as the superior grain. Symbolically, Shavuot represents the culmination of the spring feasts, and includes the unique preparation of two loaves of leavened wheat bread, symbolizing humanity's sinful nature. Celebrated with offerings, figs, olive oil, and more, Shavuot is a joyous occasion steeped in history and spirituality. Stephanie discusses these celebrations as a "rehearsal dinner" for the future wedding banquet, the final joyous gathering in Christ's return. This celebration encapsulates both preparation and revelation, drawing a parallel to the Israelites' three days of preparation to receive the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. The festival's ladder-shaped challah symbolizes Moses' ascent to receive the Law, while its inclusion of yeast signifies the sinful nature that, through divine grace, will be fully redeemed. Central to both Shavuot and Pentecost, is the theme of harvest. The gathering of wheat represents the process of evangelism. As believers are sanctified through trials, they are refined wheat, ready for offering and transforming into the spiritual bread of life. In the same vein, Pentecost is a reminder of the Great Commission—empowering believers to go forth and harvest souls for the kingdom of God. Christ embodies the fulfillment of Shavuot. Just as Shavuot celebrates God's revelation to Moses, Pentecost commemorates the Holy Spirit's descension, ushering a new covenant. This underscores a deeper spiritual truth: the festival of Shavuot rehearses the believers' ultimate communion with God, transcending into a season of salvation heralded by Jesus' coming. Stephanie highlights a fascinating contrast between Jewish and Western traditions: the Jewish cyclical view of time versus the Western linear perspective. Shavuot, celebrated from sundown on June 1 to nightfall on June 3, 2025, emphasizes the end of the spring harvest—a marker in the cyclical liturgical calendar that heralds a pause until the fall feasts. Meanwhile, the Western tradition tends to perceive time as linear, steadily moving towards a future point. This cyclical nature of the Jewish liturgical calendar offers hope and progress, especially during periods that may seem monotonous. After the spring feasts conclude, the Jewish calendar enters a four-month period without festive observances until Rosh Hashanah. Stephanie encourages believers to view these "ordinary" times as infused with the joy and anticipation of Shavuot and Pentecost, reflecting the Christian longing between Christ's first and second comings. This period is an invitation to embody thankfulness, evangelism, and charity, preparing for the ultimate harvest in the final gathering.
