Rishi Sunak has taken over as British PM, the richest-ever person to hold the job. He's already promising austerity for the poorest, with public services like the NHS in danger as never before. Sunak's appointment comes after the disastrous Liz Truss (who was outlasted by a lettuce at 44 days), and the scandal-ridden premiership of Boris Johnson. What can British people – and those around Europe – expect from this latest (unelected) Tory government? And with a Labour Party incapable of representing common people, should progressives be adding to calls for early elections? Our panel includes our own Yanis Varoufakis and UK campaigner Julia Moore, with special guest Marshajane Thompson, previously Head of Campaigns for Jeremy Corbyn and now coordinator of Your NHS Needs You.
At the beginning of her MCAT journey, Julia was discouraged by how little progress she was seeing in her practice exam scores. In January, she scored a 499, and even after a month and a half of pushing herself in her studying afterwards, she only improved by 1-point… which was a long way from her dream score of 513. In particular, she struggled with the C/P section, which is something we think a lot of us can relate to as well! It's so tough! So it was around this point that Julia decided to reach out for some help. Through tutoring with us and her own personal perseverance, Julia doubled down during the final 8 weeks leading up to her exam, and was eventually able to raise her score all the way up to the dream she'd had from the beginning– a 513!! With a 128 in C/P (a 5-point increase from her initial section score)! That's so amazing! In this interview, we're going to launch into exactly how she achieved a 13-point score increase in just 2 months, how she motivated herself through a plateau, what strategies she used for each section, and so much more… Additionally, she attributes much of her success to enrolling in an MCAT Mastery course. Here's what she says about her MCAT Mastery experience: “I had Merrina as my tutor and I cannot recommend her enough. She's great at what she does and knows the MCAT frontwards and backwards. She gave me a lot of tips and strategies to help with my weakest areas. She also let me work through problems with her during our sessions so she could see where I was getting hung up and not performing as well or efficiently. Really thankful for all her help!!”

This is the first of a two part episode (1 and 1A) that begins to lay out ideas about why we feel the need to pretend but why pretending is pointless! It's the greatest news. That's right, grace wrecks the illusion we have to be better than we are. And grace wrecks those who perpetuate the condition that requires illusions. And who might they be? Sigh, mostly, the church. I know, it's wild. Thanks to my guests who appear here and on a handful of different episodes this season... This message is focusing on introducing to some, reacquainting to others, and stirring up a desire for all to grow closer to Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. Sometimes we forget that He is a person and He is here in the earth living with us. His desire is to be in relationship with you. He is the Lover of our hearts. He testifies of who Jesus is and Jesus’ oneness with God the Father and with Himself. He (Holy Spirit) reveals how Jesus came to rescue mankind. He does this because mankind is the object of their unceasing affection. As in every relationship it’s important to effectively communicate. Our relationship with Holy Spirit is no different, it thrives on effective communication. And because of Jesus everyone qualifies to be in communication with Holy Spirit and to have Him living in them. No one is disqualified. What does your daily relationship with Holy Spirit look like?

What things need to be removed so God’s Love can be revealed in your life?
