On another exciting edition of the Frasier podcast, Frasier's plans for a Merry Christmas with Frederick are dashed when Lilith takes Freddy to Austria for a magical trip. Frasier agrees to suffer through the depressing Christmas slot at KACL after a fight with Martin. Depression and hilarity ensues. On our sideshow, we take a look at a Christmas episode of Married with Children. Bud and Kelly spend the episode trying to sneak a jukebox by their folks to surprise them with a gift
On this episode of the Frasier podcast, it's nothing but hot goss! Frasier is spreading rumors that someone at KACL is getting canned. When he accidentally spills the beans to Bulldog, the host of the Gonzo Sports Show goes a little gonzo on the station manager. Plus, we go back in time to look at an episode of Murphy Brown! Multiple members of the FYI news team are nominated for Humboldt Awards, and it starts to get a little competitive between Peter and Murphy.
On this episode of the Frasier podcast, Dr. Frasier Crane wrestles with whether or not he should personally endorse products for KACL advertisers. Radio spots in Seattle can equal big bucks, but Frasier has his doubts. So, which one wins - Frasier's integrity or his greed? Also on this week's Frasier podcast, we take a look at a classic episode of Family Matters. Steve Urkel turns into Stephan Urquelle! It's truly a wild, wacky, and zany episode of weirdness. Have fun on this Family Matters podcast and Frasier podcast crossover we never knew we needed
When you think Frasier, you probably think of the jovial snob from Seattle and his career on KACL 780 AM. But the actor behind that façade has a dark secret: he was cursed by a warlock. Or something. He's had more tragedy in his life than Charlie Brown. Mere bad luck can't explain all of it. Can it? No, it's gotta be a curse. Probably the same curse that every movie theater in America was simultaneously hit with a couple years ago. This is why magic is illegal, people.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

As we all no doubt are aware, Frasier was a spin-off of another wildly successful sitcom, Cheers. But what if Frasier had a spin-off also?Would you like to see a prequel series about the days leading up to Martin's final days on the police force? A workplace sitcom about Roz taking over at the helm of KACL? What about Maris's exploits on her private island after she fled the country? If you like our ideas, or have any other ideas of your own for Frasier spin-offs, let us know at the socials below!Instagram and Twitter: @HappyBrosPodYouTube: Happy Brothers Podcast
TV is forever a fave topic on Matter of Fat and is the focus of a silly goofy start to season 5. Cat and Saraya are back to apply their same lens in Matter of Fat to a seemingly random series of TV shows… some old, some very old. MoF Considers may not be the most prolific or well-researched assessments of these TV series but contain lots of hot takes, too many spoilers to count, and colorful commentary… all as a matter of fat. Thanks so much to supporters who send a little Fat Cash or wrote us a review in order to have early access to these episodes before their initial release! In this episode, the guys bid farewell to Kate Costas. She may have slept with Frasier on the air, but she still ranks as a top two station manager at KACL so far... Also, Will imagines a letter from Martin's old army buddy, and Jace does some research on the Russian royal family.
Episode #024 Shannyn Caldwell – When I was introduced to Shannyn Caldwell we learned we were going to be working together about a half-hour before going live on air on my radio show Sound Behavior where we were broadcasting on WLQV in Detroit. We immediately connected but she was my anchor, watching her expressions and her hand signals through the glass window which separated the production and the sound booth created an exceptional experience. She was awesome. Week-after-week our guests kept impacting our conversations and the show was doing really well... we kept discussing if only we could find a connection for national syndication? At the time one of the biggest shows on TV was "Frasier" where Frasier hosts The Dr. Frasier Crane Show, a call-in psychiatry show on KACL talk radio with his producer Roz Doyle. Off the cuff on air I called Shannyn "Roz" and it stuck. Our listeners and guests alike loved it and we were having fun producing Sound Behavior. The year was 2007 and here we are asking ourselves where have these thirteen years gone? Today, she host's her own radio show - Middays with Shannyn Caldwell on Family Life Radio and is the author of the best selling book, The Healing Season. I'm honored to introduce and reconnect with my dear friend Shannyn Caldwell. Please listen, enjoy and share this episode with your friends and family... and you can click here to buy Shannyn's book!
In this episode, Will & Jace celebrate KACL getting a new station manager (FINALLY!). Also, Will explains why her majesty needed a Tums, and Brit the Cheers expert returns to drop some Cheers knowledge.
"Why is Frasier named after strawberries?" Today we’ll be looking at Season 3 episode 6 - Sleeping With The Enemy! Wikipedia’s summary of this episode says “The support staff at KACL are very indignant because Kate refuses to pay their annual 5% raise. However, they are also too frightened to confront her about it. The decision does not affect the on-air talent, but Roz persuades Frasier to rally his colleagues round in support of those who are affected (and also to act as spokesman in place of Noel). They all march determinedly to Kate's office, but when she comes out everyone else dissipates, leaving Frasier to argue their case alone. The discussion grows to a fierce argument, which in turn suddenly transforms into an intense mutual lust, whereupon Kate kisses Frasier passionately before throwing him out. This presents him with two problems: the guilt of having betrayed the support staff; and the question of whether Kate's kiss was meaningful, or just a deliberate manipulative technique.” For this episode I’m joined by Hannah Bailey!
