If you would like additional information, books, or if you would like to make a love donation; please visit us at https://www.walkinginpower.orgBern Zumpano continues the study of Revelation Chapter 13, moving past the overview of the two beasts—the Antichrist (the first, political beast from the sea) and the False Prophet (the second, religious beast from the earth)—to focus on the identity and ministry of the Antichrist. The Antichrist is a man who achieves political power, then receives a fatal wound that is miraculously healed, which most scholars believe is a counterfeit resurrection where Satan incarnates his dead body. This miracle causes the world, including the Jewish people, to accept him as the long-awaited Messiah. However, at the midpoint of the Tribulation, the now-Satan-incarnated Antichrist changes personality, desecrates the Temple, and begins his reign of terror for 42 months (the final 3 1/2 years). This Beast from the Sea is equated with the Fourth Beast of Danieland its physical characteristics—an amalgam of the previous empires (lion/Babylon, leopard/Greece, bear/Medo-Persia, iron teeth/Rome)—suggest a mixed cultural heritage (Greek/Assyrian/Jewish) that makes him appealing to all groups.Zumpano then explores the Antichrist's various titles from the Old and New Testaments (Little Horn, King of Fierce Countenance, Man of Lawlessness, Son of Perdition, and The Beast). His ministry, drawn from Daniel and 2 Thessalonians 2, is one of deception and lawlessness: he will speak arrogant words, blaspheme God, make war with the saints, and use his shrewdness to succeed. Zumpano dedicates significant discussion to the controversial scholarly theory that the Antichrist might be Judas Iscariot resurrected, citing the fact that both are called the "Son of Perdition" in scripture. This theory is supported by the idea that the Antichrist represents the "mystery of iniquity" (the opposite of Christ, the "mystery of godliness") and that the "beast that comes up out of the abyss" in Revelation 11:7 may be a reference to Judas returning from the place of the dead. Regardless of this specific theory, all these biblical references are meant to clearly identify the Antichrist as one and the same person, whose ultimate purpose is to deceive the world and enforce the mark of the beast (666) for economic control.

Hamilton choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler is an absolute treasure trove. There's really no other way to say it. This is his fifth episode of The Hamilcast and he's still dropping details and Easter eggs and insight into a show we've all been talking about for over ten years. HOW DOES HE DO IT?! I have no idea, but at the very least, these episodes let you in on his incredible thought process. This week is all about the deep dives, so I hope you're ready for endless mind explosions. There are way too many to mention in the description but here's one just so I'm not totally leaving you hanging: Andy breaks down his process for "The Room Where it Happens," including details that never saw the light of day (hello nasty sand dance!), how Burr is essentially locking himself into a room ("he's screwing himself"), and we unpack some details we talked about last time ("The Room Where it Happens" = Road to Perdition). But seriously, that is just the tip of the iceberg with the deets and I cannot stress that enough. Andy also talks about the super tricky process of translating his very lyric-based choreography to work for the German production, which Easter eggs actually just coincidences, the Hamilton choreography he wants to go back and change, and why it's important to always, always, always be studying and working and creating so you can constantly be pulling from your catalogue. This episode was recorded in October of 2025 at WTF Media Studios in Manhattan and produced with Natalie Grillo from Any Moment Productions in collaboration with Meghan Miles. #217: Andy Blankenbuehler // Part One (2020) #218: Andy Blankenbuehler // Part Two (2020) #219: Andy Blankenbuehler // Part Three (2020) /// Gillian's Website The Hamilcast on TikTok The Hamilcast on Instagram Join the Patreon Peeps

Transforming Perspectives | Scriptures, demystify the imagery of pitch forks and nail clawed demons, dwelling amid fire and brimstone in the place called Hell or biblical Greek, Hades. Instead, depicts Hades not as a singularly purposed dominion under the rule of the adversaries of God but as a designation ordered by God under his sovereign rule. Scriptures, describe three realms or dimensions in which the dead, demonic, and wicked are held as captives until God's reckoning, redemption and final judgment. Firstly, the fallen angels that were cast out of the realm of God's council, down into the depths of the earth. Hell, often referenced as Perdition which God spoke by the prophet Ezekiel, “I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descended into the [pit]…” (a holding place, prison or dungeon, cell or grave). Ezekiel 31:16, King James Version She'ôl, in biblical Hebrew In the Old Testament, is defined as the world of the dead, similar to a subterranean retreat including its accessories and inmates. Many believe She'ôl as the resting place in which the dead were kept until the mystery of God's Salvation was revealed, referencing Jesus the Christ. Apostle Paul explains in the Letter to the Ephesians of Jesus descending into the earth, so to bring captivity captive, as he ascended, inferring freeing those who were held captive by death.Formidably, Jesus came, died and rose again, defeating death, so men would be raised into eternal life. Effectually, salvation by faith in him and from God's final judgment in Hades, the Lake of Fire. John the Apostle, exclaims of seeing Jesus…“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:17-18, King James VersionPray, Read and Study - Ezekiel Chapter 31 and John Chapter 17. Nov 28, 2025Matthew Miller led a discussion with Kenneth Taylor, Jennifer Grunig, Carol Lee, and Tamara Blue on the son of perdition, initially confirming Judas as the first and the "man of sin" or "false prophet" as the one yet to come, and challenging mainstream clergy views by suggesting this figure comes from within the church. Miller detailed the scriptural references in John 17:12 and 2 Thessalonians 2, and introduced a third, less-known reference in the Greek Septuagint translation of Proverbs 24, where analysis of the Greek words suggests "the Word (Logos) keeps the son of perdition outside," connecting it to the concept of the restrainer in 2 Thessalonians. The participants explored the meaning of the Greek words for "perdition" and "restraint," confirming that the discussion revolved around the restraining of the "son of perdition" and the "mystery of lawlessness" as referenced in Proverbs 22 of the Septuagint.
Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day for November 25, 2025 is: perdition per-DISH-un noun Perdition refers to hell, or to the state of being in hell forever as punishment after death—in other words, damnation. It is usually used figuratively. // Dante's Inferno details the main character's journey through perdition. // It's this kind of selfishness that leads down the road to perdition. See the entry > Examples: “AC/DC has been criticized for sticking to its straightforward musical formula for more than 50 staggering years, but there's little denying the appeal of the group's adrenalized and reliable approach. As Angus Young stated in the liner notes for a reissue of ‘The Razor's Edge,' ‘AC/DC equals power. That's the basic idea.' That energetic jolt is sometimes the perfect means to raise spirits and spread actual joy, even coming from a band offering the cartoonish imagery of plastic horns and travel down the road to perdition.” — Jeff Elbel, The Chicago Sun-Times, 25 May 2025 Did you know? Perdition is a word that gives a darn, and then some. It was borrowed into English in the 14th century from the Anglo-French noun perdiciun and ultimately comes from the Latin verb perdere, meaning “to destroy.” Among the earliest meanings of perdition was, appropriately, “utter destruction,” as when Shakespeare wrote of the “perdition of the Turkish fleet” in Othello. This sense, while itself not utterly destroyed, doesn't see much use anymore; perdition is today used almost exclusively for eternal damnation or the place where such destruction of the soul occurs.

In 2002, a graphic novel about fathers and sons in Depression-era Chicago became Sam Mendes' haunting follow-up to American Beauty. Road to Perdition transformed Max Allan Collins' crime saga into a meditation on legacy, violence, and the impossible task of protecting your children from the world you've created - all while delivering one of cinema's most visually stunning tales of revenge. We're exploring two intertwined stories behind this masterpiece: First, the remarkable creative journey - from the source material to David Self's screenplay that captured the essence whilst reimagining the structure, to Mendes' decision to follow his Oscar-winning debut with a genre film that nobody expected. Second, we dive into the technical revolution that brought 1930s Chicago to life - Conrad L. Hall's final, Oscar-winning cinematography that painted every frame like an Edward Hopper illustration dipped in blood, Thomas Newman's melancholic score, and the production design that created a world both beautiful and brutal.Through segments like The Director, The Cast, and The Crew, we examine how a story about a mob enforcer's one last job became a profound exploration of American mythology, the weight of legacy, and whether redemption is possible when your hands are stained with blood - proving that sometimes the most personal films emerge from the most unlikely genres, and that true artistry can transform pulp into poetry.Telling the story of Hollywood, one movie at a time.Connect with ATRM: To support what we do, access our archive and listen to exclusive episodes, become an ATRM patron:Listen on Patreon Listen on Apple PodcastsListen on SpotifyTwitter/X: @ATRightMoviesYouTube: Subscribe to our channelInstagram: @allthe_rightmovies Threads: @allthe_rightmoviesFacebook: Join our movie groupBluesky: @alltherightmovies.comTikTok: @alltherightmoviesWebsite: alltherightmovies.com
Phil and Emily continue their miniseries on Oscar winning Best Director follow ups from the 2000s with Road to Perdition, Sam Mendes' ambitious second feature after American Beauty. Joining them is film journalist and podcaster Blake Howard (One Heat Minute Productions), who helps unpack the film's technical brilliance, subdued emotional core, and unique place in early 2000s cinema.Together, they dive into Mendes' leap from stage to screen, the film's striking cinematography from Conrad Hall, and how Tom Hanks' against type performance reshaped audience expectations. The conversation explores Paul Newman's final live action role, Jude Law's scene stealing menace, and Daniel Craig's early career turn as one of cinema's most dangerous nepo babies. They also debate Thomas Newman's Oscar nominated score, the film's release strategy, and how it stands among Mendes' eclectic career from Jarhead to Skyfall and beyond. With insights ranging from Jude Law's underrated presence to the legacy of Paul Newman and Tom Hanks' evolving star persona, this episode is both a reconsideration of a Depression era gangster story and a reflection on the pressures of following up an Oscar winning debut. Jeremy Garrett has been playing music since he first picked up the fiddle at the age of three, encouraged by his father, a guitarist steeped in Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Boys and its guitar/banjo duo of Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs. The two formed a band together, the Grasshoppers, and that helped launch Jeremy's 45-year – and counting — career as a musician.Born in California, Garrett grew up in Idaho, before moving to Nashville in 1998, co-founding the Infamous Stringdusters when a musician friend, dobro player Andy Hall, approached his bandmate in a group named the Ronnie Bowman Committee (along with ex-mandolin player Jesse Cobb) to join forces with his Berklee College of Music classmates, banjo player Chris Pandolfi and former guitarist Chris Eldridge, in the group's first iteration in 2005. The band's current lineup includes double-bassist Travis Book, who came aboard in 2005, and guitarist Andy Falco, who replaced Eldridge in 2007. Since that time, the Stringdusters have garnered a Grammy Award in 2018 for Best Bluegrass Album (Laws of Gravity) and two nominations, the most recent in 2022 in the same category (A Tribute to Bill Monroe).Since that time, Garrett has released seven solo albums, with his latest, Storm Mountain, his first since 2022's well-received River Wild. Now living “off the grid” in a cabin on 12 acres with his wife and eight-year-old daughter in a remote section of Theodore Roosevelt National Forest outside of Drake, Colorado, Garrett recorded the album in a one-room studio outside of Fort Collins, CO, at the foothills of the mountains, before he added his parts at his own Storm Mountain home studio.Storm Mountain deals with such serious topics as a fall from grace (“Son of Perdition”), the bitterness of fate (“The Cold Hard Truth”), lost love (“Fly Away”), the meaning of life (“Anchor in the Deep”) and hopes for his daughter (“You're Gonna Fly”). In addition, there are playful stabs at modern phenomena from social conventions (“Don't Ask') to UFOs (“Rosewell”).“I'm interested in World Music and how the fiddle has been played around the globe,” said Garrett, whose previous albums have explored a wide range of fiddle effects, including loops and pedals, showing the instrument can be as eclectic as the guitar. “It's been integrated in all forms of music as one of the most versatile instruments on the planet. There's something about fiddle players that's unique.”“I wanted to draw on something a little different than what I do with the ‘Dusters, by touching on my more traditional lineage in gospel, country and blues. These are songs that don't quite fit in with the crowds we usually play for. When I go back to the band, I'm way better and more fulfilled for having done these solo records.”At 48 years old, Garrett is relatively young for a bluegrass veteran and looks forward to performing his music live for audiences. “When I write songs now, it's from the standpoint of someone who's been through some life experiences over the past 20 years. My goal is for this record to be uplifting at the same time as it's more reflective in terms of healing."With the Dusters about to celebrate their 20th anniversary next year with a new album, Garrett looks forward to finding time for the occasional solo performance along with his “day job.”His ultimate inspiration are guys like Larry Sparks (“Slow Train” on the new album is a tribute to him), Del McCoury and the late Ralph Stanley, who have performed into their 70s, 80s and 90s.“I want to play this music forever,” said Jeremy. With Storm Mountain, he continues on that path.

The fall of Lucifer - a son of the morning, along with those who followed him was definitely a tough “loss” for our Father. Perhaps there are some things to learn from them from D&C 76.If you'd like to view the video that goes with podcast, click here
What if everything you thought you knew about heaven, salvation, and Christ's power was just the beginning? Get ready to have your understanding expanded. Summary: In this deep dive into Doctrine & Covenants 76, "The Vision," we explore an expansive understanding of Jesus Christ and His infinite reach. Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon experienced visions that revealed Christ's ability to do "exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think," showing His wisdom, marvelous ways, and the unimaginable extent of His work of salvation. We begin by examining how we often underestimate the Savior, discovering that "beside him there is no Savior," yet His mercy and grace extend to bring everyone home except the sons of perdition. The video then unpacks the concept of "The Cosmic Christ," where Joseph and Sidney beheld the glory of the Son, witnessing that by Him, "the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God." Next, we confront the sobering reality of "Perdition and His Sons," understanding the profound loss associated with Lucifer and the specific conditions that lead to becoming a son of perdition. This segment surprisingly reveals God's near-universal plan of salvation, emphasizing that "all the rest shall be brought forth by the resurrection of the dead." Finally, we journey through the three degrees of glory—Celestial, Terrestrial, and Telestial—receiving a breathtaking glimpse into what "heaven" truly looks like, even surpassing all understanding for the Telestial Kingdom. We'll also touch on the profound spiritual experiences that cannot be written but must be "seen and understood by the power of the Holy Spirit." Prepare to enlarge your vision of God's love, justice, and the boundless power of Christ to redeem. 0:00 Introduction and Overview 6:10 Never Underestimate Christ 16:50 The Cosmic Christ 36:28 Perdition and His Sons 52:19 Celestial Glory 1:05:23 Terrestrial Glory 1:13:13 Telestial Glory 1:29:34 What We Can and Cannot Write 1:42:34 One-Liners

Send us a text"So then Pastor Matt... just what are we looking for then?" There is a progression that we should be aware of to the end of this Age. The Anti-Christ spirit has been on earth for millenia ~ but the next player that we should expect to see, besides Christ!, is the False Prophet. There is and will be a False Prophet who will introduce the Son of Perdition with the working and help of the Beast. Interested? Let's go...!
Send us a textOkay - the Anti-Christ has a purpose?? I thought it was the Uber Bad Guy that was to come and force people to curse God or die - or take over the world... Actually, the Anti-Christ is the spirit of darkness, the spirit of chaos - the spirit of the Deceiver, the Satan. The spiritual force that will fill and work with and behind the "Son of Perdition" - the Uber Bad Guy that will come and will try to force people to curse God or die - and take over the world... All these dark entities have a purpose and a function to the end of Age as we know it... Welcome to the End Times Countdown.

You can read it though, just a summary of the banger of a video you're watching.Ready for a front‑row seat to the loudest, bloodiest arms race the 41st Millennium has ever spawned? In this lore deep dive we untangle the Octarius War: an Imperial “containment plan” that backfired spectacularly and turned the Ork Empire of Octarius into Hive Fleet Leviathan's all‑you‑can‑eat buffet. We'll track Inquisitor Fidus Kryptman's infamous Genestealer “gift,” follow Ghazghkull Thraka's brief but explosive cameo, and watch The Swarmlord unleash tunneling bio‑titans, fluorescent kaiju, and sea‑monster splinter fleets against Warbosses with names straight out of a metal album. You'll learn how Waaagh! energy, Kustom mega‑weapons, and Leviathan's on‑the‑fly biogenesis turned entire star systems into the Pankallis Cauldron; why Forge Worlds were forced into last‑stand super‑weapon mode; and what the ongoing meat‑grinder means for the Imperium, the Ork clanz, and the Great Devourer's next evolution. Whether you field green skins, chitin, or just crave grimdark strategy lessons, this video packs everything you need to survive—at least until the next tidal wave of Boyz or bio‑ships arrives.———TAGSOctarius War, Warzone Octarius, Octarius Campaign, Octarius Sector, Ork Empire Octarius, Overfiend of Octarius, King Mek Baddkrasha, Captain Skarfang, Gragnatz Stompkrumpa, Da Blue One, Pankallis Cauldron, Cordon Impenetra, Forge World Pankallis, Haven Spire blast, Perdition's Flame Hulk, Kryptman's Folly, Inquisitor Fidus Kryptman, Genestealer drop assault, Hive Fleet Leviathan, Swarmlord command, Tunneling Bio Titan, Venomthrope fog tactic, Mawloc ambush, Ursun Wolf planet, Beast Snagga charge, Da Time of Da Big Kill, Blood Axe infiltration, Speed Freek blockade run, Mekboy disruption crown, Synapse interference tech, Krieg Operation Spinebreak, Astra Militarum defense, Wolfspear strike force, Dark Krakens monster hunt, Deathwatch boarding action, Imperial Knight line, Titan Legion support, Ork Squighog Riders, Squigosaur cavalry, Kill Kroozer bombardment, Gargant siege walkers, Goff brute squads, Evil Sunz speed kult, Bad Moons flash gitz, Deathskulls loota raids, Snakebite beast tamers, Speed Freek drag race, Lootaz scrap harvest, Kommandos covert ops, Shokk attack gun test, Kustom mega blasta rigs, Dakka jet dogfight, Deff Dread charge, Killa Kan screen, Warboss Tuska Grob, Gibkrung da Facekrumpa, Zagrob da Butcher, Tervigon brood surge, Tyrannocyte drop storm, Bio plasma artillery, Ripper swarm carpets, Termagant gaunt waves, Hormagaunt melee flood, Gargoyle sky swarm, Lictor strike cadre, Broodlord sabotage, Hive node spore chimneys, Shadow in the Warp choke, Psychic scream barrage, Adaptive chitin plating, Acid maw evolution, Spore mine field, Digestion pool expansion, Astropath relay siege, Prometheum seabed blast, Toxic industrial runoff, Bioluminescent chitin glow, Carnifex rampage, Hierophant macro beast, Lamprey tunneler organism, Kraken maw artillery, Sea monster bioform, Depth charge defense, Avalanche demolition, Tsunami backlash, Graviton shock weapon, Lightning storm kustom gun, Octarian void fortress, Ladz in Mek armor, Waaagh energy surge, Green tide escalation, Fungus ecology clash, Bio assimilation loop, Endless feedback war, Imperial evacuation convoy, Refugee transport lost, Chaos Skullhunt incursion, Vodha Bloodprice daemonhood, Da Maw Khorne planet, Eight thousand skullsSupport the show

Today, we're going to examine the war between the Pinkertons and Jesse James, a bloody feud that would culminate in an ill-advised attack on the James farm, along with the tragic death of Jesse's eight-year-old brother. We'll also be talking about that “special device” that was thrown through the window. Was it really a bomb or something else entirely? What the heck is Greek fire, anyway? And just how far would Jesse James go to exact revenge?
