Dr. Svensson provides a review of the MFS guidelines regarding when to operate. Dr. Desai explains multi-modality imaging including echo, MRI and CT scan when determining timing for surgery. The findings of the study are reviewed as well as implications for future care of patients with MFS. Vi sänder från Bottna i Bohuslän där en djup klyfta skär igenom bohusgraniten. Vilka krafter som format klyftan och varför det Bohuslänska landskapet ser ut som det gör är frågor vi söker svar på. Dessutom träffar vi en av världens främsta fågelboksförfattare. På lördag ska vi undersöka vilka hemligheter som döljs i de bohuslänska bergen. Vår fältreporter Jonatan Martinsson beger sig till Tanums kommun för att besöka en av landskapets många fascinerande geologiska platser, jätteklovan i Bottna. Någon kilometer in från kusten döljer sig den 25 meter djupa klyftan som skär igenom bohusgraniten. Med hjälp av geologen Thomas Eliasson tar vi reda på vilka krafter som format klyftan och varför det Bohuslänska landskapet ser ut som det gör. Vi träffar också en av världens främsta fågelboksförfattare. Lars Svensson har tidigare författat Fågelguiden som är den fälthandbok som är nummer ett bland svenska fågelskådare och som översatts till 24 språk. I veckan släpps hans nästa mastodontprojekt, en bok som tagit 18 år att färdigställa. Mats Ottosson har träffat honom bland tornseglare och hämplingar kring huset i Torekov i Skåne. Vi får ytterligare ett tillskott till det naturliga skafferiet. Matkreatören Eva Gunnare tar med oss ut på en maskrostätt gräsmatta i Jokkmokk för att berätta hur man kan göra guld av de gula blommorna. Scott explains how forecast targeting and price level targeting could have mitigated the economic decline in 2008 and 2009. He also shares his thoughts on how the cognitive biases of central bankers can cause them to make mistakes in evaluating the stance of monetary policy and offers some solutions to address this problem. Där det tidigare mest var "gröna gubbar" från landet som häckade i fågeltornen hittar man numera ofta betydligt yngre exemplar, inte sällan från storstan. Riktar man kikaren mot skogen kan man få se grupper av kvinnor vars barn vuxit upp och som nu tar sig ut för att skåda fågel. För att hjälpa alla fågelintresserade har mängder av fågelböcker getts ut under åren. Men det tycks finnas plats för fler. Vi läser fågelböcker - vårens senaste och ett par äldre trotjänare. Eva Stenvång-Lindqvist som har skrivit boken Börja skåda fågel har läst den nya Vilken fågel? av Magnus Ullman. Med sig har hon klassikern Erik Rosenbergs Fåglar i Sverige. Matsåke Bergström är konstnär och har illustrerat flera fågelböcker bland annat Fåglarna i Norden. Han har fördjupat sig i den nya Fågelsång av Jan Pedersen och Lars Svensson och har med sig Fågelguiden, "ornitolgernas Bibel". Brutus Östling är fotograf och förläggare och har gett ut flera egna fågelfotoböcker, prisade och sålda i stora upplagor. Enligt folk i branschen är hans böcker en av orsakerna till det växande fågelintresset. Vi diskuterar också byggnader och deras själ. I Kiruna måste stadshuset bort för att ge plats åt gruvbrytningen. Kommunen och LKAB vill att byggnadsminnesförklaringen hävs. Hur lätt får det vara att upphäva en kulturminnesmärkning? Kan stadshuset flyttas eller byggas upp igen? Eller ska man satsa på ett helt nytt, lika modernt och spektakulärt som stadshuset i Kiruna var när det byggdes?
