Rob Has a Podcast | Survivor / Big Brother / Amazing Race - RHAP
Survivor 50 Panel at The Tribeca Film Festival Survivor celebrates its 25th anniversary at the iconic Tribeca Festival, bringing fans and legends together to reflect on 50 thrilling seasons of blindsides, alliances, and changing gameplay. In this milestone panel, Jane Rosenthal (Academy Award-nominated producer and co-founder of Tribeca Festival) is joined by Survivor icons including Rob and a panel of recent castaways to break down just what has kept Survivor fresh, relevant, and captivating for a quarter century. The discussion dives deep into Survivor 50, with candid stories about evolving gameplay—from the old school ride-or-die alliances to today's fast-shifting strategies where betrayal might just forge your next big move. Rob sets the tone by highlighting the “tribe” at the heart of Tribeca, while Jane and others reveal how Survivor has become both an archive of human interaction and a mirror for social change. The castaways talk openly about the shortened 26-day format, what it feels like to return to “regular” life after the highs and lows of Tribal Council, and the challenge of keeping up in a world (and show) where attention spans are shorter, but the stakes feel bigger than ever. – How Survivor's social game has evolved from ruthless old-school loyalty to quick repairs and unexpected new partnerships – Rob's perspective on why being voted out still resonates so deeply with our basic human fears and desires – The impact of Survivor's increased representation—including calls for more blue-collar workers and trans women on the cast – Insights into the role of storytelling at Final Tribal: has ‘outwit, outplay, outlast' changed its meaning? – Jane Rosenthal and panelists discuss how Survivor moments—from hard-hitting social issues to unforgettable blindsides—continue shaping viewers and players alike As Survivor 50 continues to push boundaries, the panel raises questions about who will adapt and thrive in an era where gameplay, identity, and society overlap. Does forging new school alliances faster than ever pay off, or do classic Survivor instincts still win the day? Summer 2026 TV is not a normal season—it's a full-scale entertainment takeover. In this episode of Bamgboshe Happy Hour, we break down the most stacked TV lineup in years: from prestige dramas and franchise giants to reality TV chaos and even betting-market controversy surrounding Survivor 50. We dive into how platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi are changing the way fans engage with reality TV—turning Outwit. Outplay. Outlast. into something much more unpredictable. Then we go show-by-show through the biggest premieres of the summer, including:
When's the last time you got caught up in a mental spiral, going over and over a past event or constantly reimagining a future one? Research shows we're more prone to this habit than ever. That cycle that peaks your anxiety and distracts you from what's happening at the moment is called rumination, and my guest wrote a book all about it. Donna Jackson Nakazawa is an acclaimed science journalist whose new book, “Mind Drama: The Science of Rumination and How to Outwit Your Inner Defeatist,” explores the neuroscience behind why we fall into these repetitive patterns. Her knowledge of the topic is informed by all the latest research, and she has even developed her own framework for dealing with it; I experience that approach first-hand, right in the middle of our conversation. This episode is essential listening for anyone who wants the tools to break out of those stressful spirals once and for all. Stop spiraling and ramp up your power over your own mind: The role your childhood plays in shaping the stories you tell yourself; Find your voice by naming and relinquishing your negative thought patterns; Why rumination isn't just overthinking; The radical reparenting approach to rewiring your mind. Outwit. Outplay. Outlast. The Survivor creed is being put to the test by the Parramatta Eels - particularly the whole outlast part. A heart-breaking loss to the Tigers has seen them lose Bailey Simonsson, Apa Twidle, Jonah Pezet and Sean Russell for varying lengths of time ranging from the season to a game or two. Just another four more bodies to pile into the burgeoning injury ward for the Eels. Who does Jason Ryles turn to? Does he even have 22 healthy players to name this week? Sixties and Forty20 put on their finest PPE as they attempt to avoid injuries covering the week that was and the week that will be for the Blue & Gold. The boys break down a very broken down Team List Tuesday with Araz Nanva set to make his NRL debut...but could there be more rookies in the mix this week? The Weekend Wrap at least has some joy to be found in the lower grades as all four pathways squads qualified for the finals. Stuff happened in the NRL, of that I am certain but it all feels a bit distant given the disastrous sequence of events plaguing the Eels. Still, the boys review Round 5 as the inconsistent results continue to fly in from all angles while the injury bug reaches some of Parramatta's competitors.
In this episode, Zale is joined by Josh Lewenberg for a special 'Shot Clock' episode, where we debate the following questions and more: Did Christian make the right move ? How are outside the game factors and past season scars affecting these contestants? Who will prevail: Aubrey or Genevieve? Is Charlie digging his own grave ? Are some people overplaying to the camera ? Yay or Nay on the Billie eilish boomerang idol Coach vs Ozzy: Who has actually changed? ? Who are we cheering for moving forward?
Zale and Eric dive into episode 4 of Survivor's milestone season, where we dissect the following question: While Christian's 3-2-1 vote was elegant strategy, was it smart gameplay? What should Mike have done differently? How should Emily have handled Ozzy once she found out the vote was being flipped? Did Genevieve give the idol to the right person? Did we like the Zach Brown half episode cameo?
In this Inbetweenisode, Stacey shares listener feedback and reflects on making better decisions in employer-sponsored healthcare, spotlighting LinkedIn posts by Ken Wosczyna and Michelle Bernabe. Ken argues Relentless Health Value moves from theory to practical transformation by sharpening judgment, which Stacey ties to how millions of workplace decisions shape the healthcare system and how actuaries and executives can align choices with values. Stacey emphasizes that good decisions require both transparency and understanding, previewing an upcoming episode with Jerry DiMaso about using transparency files to compare what peer companies pay, and citing examples of misleading "transparency" through complex contracting and financialization (e.g., CABG pricing and PBM tactics). She also questions what "disruption" means when the status quo already harms access. Stacey highlights direct contracting, Centers of Excellence, and upcoming advanced primary care episodes. === LINKS ===
Diving into Episode 3 of Survivor Season 50'Loose lips sink ships' - Emily and Genevieve say way too much Poor communication - Christian botches the boomerang idol reveal to Emily, and Coach needs to work on his bedside manner with ChrissyHow in trouble is Genevieve given this Aubrey idol that's in play? Did Emily and Ozzy make the righ call in voting out Q? Has Coach actually changed since he last played in South Pacific? Can Cirie's social game save her again?
Zale and Eric are joined by Rachael and Josh to make the most monumental decisions of their lives as they draft their winner picks for Survivor 50. Each captain drafts a team of six players. The winner of the draft is the person whose team includes the ultimate winner of Survivor 50. Who will get drafted early? Who will be insulted with a late draft slot? Listen to this episode of the Survivor Buff now. Right now.
On this episode of My World with Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Jarrett and host Conrad Thompson dive headfirst into the realities of the wrestling business past and present. Jeff compares breaking into the business in your 20s to surviving a season of Survivor—cutthroat competition, locker room politics, and learning on the fly just to stay afloat. He also weighs in on the idea of a Hair vs. Hair match in 2026 and whether that old school stipulation still moves the needle in today's landscape. The conversation turns to The Rock and his recent WWE disappearing act that has the wrestling world buzzing what's strategy, what's timing, and what might really be happening behind the scenes? Jeff also gives his take on the WrestleMania ticket crawl and what slow sales actually mean in today's premium live event economy. Plus, Jarrett opens up about John Laurinaitis aka Johnny Ace and what it was like operating in the pressure cooker environment of working under Vince McMahon. Where history fails to provide, authors of historical fiction can fill the gap. In her new novel To Outwit Them All, author Peggy Wirgau delves into the Revolutionary War history of the Culper Spy Ring. More specifically, she tells the story of the unknown woman referred to in Abraham Woodhull's correspondence – only once – as "a lady of my acquaintance." Woodhull supplies her only a number, 355 (Culper code for "lady"). Wirgau provides a name, a family, and a budding romance with British Major John Andre. Wirgau's 355 is modeled after the historical Betty Floyd, relative of William Floyd, and she includes multiple layers of period detail about British-occupied New York City. On this episode you'll hear more about how she pursued her research and how she brought Betty to life along with other members of the Culper Ring. Mitch reflects on his stuttering journey, from early challenges in school to pivotal moments that shaped his confidence in high school and college, and ultimately his 20-year pursuit of a lifelong dream to compete on Survivor. He discusses the perseverance it took to finally make it onto the show, what it meant to represent both himself and the stuttering community on national television, and how meaningful moments—including a viral exchange with host Jeff Probst—sparked broader conversations about listening and acceptance. Mitch also reflects on the role of stuttering in building deep connections, his return to the classroom after Survivor, and the powerful impact his visibility has had on students who also stutter. To close, he offers inspiring advice to young people who stutter: “Even if you haven't seen someone like you do it before, that doesn't mean it's not possible—you might just be the one to go first.”

The popular reality show, Survivor, had a tagline of “Outwit, Outplay, Outlast”. This would be a fitting tagline for our lives as followers of Christ. To be aware of the enemy, and to be determined to outwit him. Do you have a strategy?

The robots aren't just coming—they're already here. And if you're not paying attention, they might not just take your job… they could take your personal data too. In this episode of The Stacking Benjamins Show, Joe Saul-Sehy, OG, and Doug dive into the rise of artificial intelligence, exploring whether it's a threat, a tool, or something in between. If you've been wondering how AI will impact your work, your privacy, and your future, this episode is a must-listen. They kick off with a surprising headline: Gen Z workers are sidestepping AI entirely—not by resisting it, but by choosing careers where machines can't compete (like landscaping and trades), and using AI tools to grow their businesses faster. This sparks a full-on basement debate about how technology has historically impacted jobs, what the next evolution might look like, and whether AI will make our lives easier… or just busier. In today's show: Why some jobs may disappear—but others are about to explode with opportunity The surprising role AI is playing in blue-collar and skilled trade growth Why being AI-curious (not AI-phobic) is your best financial move New tech tools that supercharge productivity—from transcription wallets to note-taking bots How AI is already transforming education and career paths What to do right now to stay ahead of the AI curve Then the guys shift gears to a more sinister topic: data privacy. CNET recently reported which free AI chatbots are scooping up the most of your personal info—and which are surprisingly respectful. The gang reveals which apps are best to trust, and which are like letting Zuck crash on your couch (bad idea). We'll also hear from listener John, who wants to hire a financial advisor but isn't sure where to start. Joe and OG break down how to find the right fit, why fees aren't the most important factor, and the one question that tells you if someone's worth hiring. Plus: Doug's trivia on egomaniacal coin designers A TikTok minute about U2, dating apps, and dad jokes Back porch chatter about Pontiac Azteks, water treatment careers, and IMAX concert pilgrimages Takeaway: AI isn't just a tech trend—it's reshaping our economy, our careers, and even how we learn. Whether you're a Gen Z worker, mid-career professional, or planning your retirement, now's the time to lean in, explore what AI can (and can't) do, and secure your future before the bots beat you to it.
