Rob Has a Podcast | Survivor / Big Brother / Amazing Race - RHAP
Survivor 50 Panel at The Tribeca Film Festival Survivor celebrates its 25th anniversary at the iconic Tribeca Festival, bringing fans and legends together to reflect on 50 thrilling seasons of blindsides, alliances, and changing gameplay. In this milestone panel, Jane Rosenthal (Academy Award-nominated producer and co-founder of Tribeca Festival) is joined by Survivor icons including Rob and a panel of recent castaways to break down just what has kept Survivor fresh, relevant, and captivating for a quarter century. The discussion dives deep into Survivor 50, with candid stories about evolving gameplay—from the old school ride-or-die alliances to today's fast-shifting strategies where betrayal might just forge your next big move. Rob sets the tone by highlighting the “tribe” at the heart of Tribeca, while Jane and others reveal how Survivor has become both an archive of human interaction and a mirror for social change. The castaways talk openly about the shortened 26-day format, what it feels like to return to “regular” life after the highs and lows of Tribal Council, and the challenge of keeping up in a world (and show) where attention spans are shorter, but the stakes feel bigger than ever. – How Survivor's social game has evolved from ruthless old-school loyalty to quick repairs and unexpected new partnerships – Rob's perspective on why being voted out still resonates so deeply with our basic human fears and desires – The impact of Survivor's increased representation—including calls for more blue-collar workers and trans women on the cast – Insights into the role of storytelling at Final Tribal: has ‘outwit, outplay, outlast' changed its meaning? – Jane Rosenthal and panelists discuss how Survivor moments—from hard-hitting social issues to unforgettable blindsides—continue shaping viewers and players alike As Survivor 50 continues to push boundaries, the panel raises questions about who will adapt and thrive in an era where gameplay, identity, and society overlap. Does forging new school alliances faster than ever pay off, or do classic Survivor instincts still win the day? Don't miss this rare look behind the scenes and at the heart of Survivor 50—listen in for stories, strategy, and what could happen in the next 50 seasons! Outwit. Outplay. Outlast. The Survivor creed is being put to the test by the Parramatta Eels - particularly the whole outlast part. A heart-breaking loss to the Tigers has seen them lose Bailey Simonsson, Apa Twidle, Jonah Pezet and Sean Russell for varying lengths of time ranging from the season to a game or two. Just another four more bodies to pile into the burgeoning injury ward for the Eels. Who does Jason Ryles turn to? Does he even have 22 healthy players to name this week? Sixties and Forty20 put on their finest PPE as they attempt to avoid injuries covering the week that was and the week that will be for the Blue & Gold. The boys break down a very broken down Team List Tuesday with Araz Nanva set to make his NRL debut...but could there be more rookies in the mix this week? The Weekend Wrap at least has some joy to be found in the lower grades as all four pathways squads qualified for the finals. Stuff happened in the NRL, of that I am certain but it all feels a bit distant given the disastrous sequence of events plaguing the Eels. Still, the boys review Round 5 as the inconsistent results continue to fly in from all angles while the injury bug reaches some of Parramatta's competitors.

In this episode, Zale is joined by Josh Lewenberg for a special 'Shot Clock' episode, where we debate the following questions and more: Did Christian make the right move ? How are outside the game factors and past season scars affecting these contestants? Who will prevail: Aubrey or Genevieve? Is Charlie digging his own grave ? Are some people overplaying to the camera ? Yay or Nay on the Billie eilish boomerang idol Coach vs Ozzy: Who has actually changed? ? Who are we cheering for moving forward?
The Central division lead for the Avalanche is down to two points after a shootout loss to the Dallas Stars, where the Avs once again out performed the Stars but could not find the scoring to finish the game and get the crucial two points. Are the Avs going to be able to hold off the Stars with 14 games to go after losing 4 of their last 5? Will the eventual returns of Landeskog, O'Connor, and Colton help right the ship? Zale and Eric dive into episode 4 of Survivor's milestone season, where we dissect the following question: While Christian's 3-2-1 vote was elegant strategy, was it smart gameplay? What should Mike have done differently? How should Emily have handled Ozzy once she found out the vote was being flipped? Did Genevieve give the idol to the right person? Did we like the Zach Brown half episode cameo?
Diving into Episode 3 of Survivor Season 50'Loose lips sink ships' - Emily and Genevieve say way too much Poor communication - Christian botches the boomerang idol reveal to Emily, and Coach needs to work on his bedside manner with ChrissyHow in trouble is Genevieve given this Aubrey idol that's in play? Did Emily and Ozzy make the righ call in voting out Q? Has Coach actually changed since he last played in South Pacific? Can Cirie's social game save her again?
Zale and Eric are joined by Rachael and Josh to make the most monumental decisions of their lives as they draft their winner picks for Survivor 50. Each captain drafts a team of six players. The winner of the draft is the person whose team includes the ultimate winner of Survivor 50. Who will get drafted early? Who will be insulted with a late draft slot? The conversation turns to The Rock and his recent WWE disappearing act that has the wrestling world buzzing what's strategy, what's timing, and what might really be happening behind the scenes? Want to share your feedback? Send us a message!Mitch Guerra—educator, stuttering advocate, and recent contestant on Survivor Season 48—joins host Sara MacIntyre, M.A., CCC-SLP, to share his story. Mitch reflects on his stuttering journey, from early challenges in school to pivotal moments that shaped his confidence in high school and college, and ultimately his 20-year pursuit of a lifelong dream to compete on Survivor. He discusses the perseverance it took to finally make it onto the show, what it meant to represent both himself and the stuttering community on national television, and how meaningful moments—including a viral exchange with host Jeff Probst—sparked broader conversations about listening and acceptance. Mitch also reflects on the role of stuttering in building deep connections, his return to the classroom after Survivor, and the powerful impact his visibility has had on students who also stutter. To close, he offers inspiring advice to young people who stutter: “Even if you haven't seen someone like you do it before, that doesn't mean it's not possible—you might just be the one to go first.”
