Aftermath Silver CEO Ralph Rushton joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the final assay results from the company's Phase 2 diamond drill program at the Berenguela silver-copper-manganese deposit in southern Peru. The results include 12 additional drill holes from the broader 82-hole program and confirm the mineral resource remains open to the east. Rushton highlighted that Hole AFD139, located on the most easterly section of the drill program, returned a notable intercept of 68.9 metres grading 78 g/t silver, 1.19% copper, and 6.03% manganese from just 6.4 metres downhole. This strong mineralisation suggests significant potential for continued expansion, although future drilling will require additional access work due to steep terrain in that area. The company also reported that historical mapping and resource modelling indicated mineralisation extending over 1,300 metres along strike. The recent drill campaign has now expanded that to at least 1,550 metres, with mineralised widths ranging from 400 metres in the central zone, 250 metres in the west, and 50 metres in the faulted transitional section between them. Importantly, drilling has closed a previously identified 100-metre discontinuity within the deposit. Drilling was performed at a high angle to the stratigraphically controlled mineralization, meaning the intersections reported are approximately true thickness. Aftermath Silver CEO Ralph Rushton joined Steve Darling from Proactive to unveil promising assay results from the company's ongoing Phase 2 diamond drill program at its flagship Berenguela silver-copper-manganese deposit in southern Peru. The latest results come from 16 additional drill holes, forming part of the 82-hole, 5,200-metre program targeting resource expansion and definition in a highly prospective area of the deposit. The drilling was focused on the central-north section of Berenguela, specifically along the northern limit of the existing mineral resource and just east of a prominent cross-cutting fault zone. This strategic zone was selected to extend mineralization margins while upgrading inferred resources to indicated and potentially measured categories, contributing directly to a future mineral resource update and supporting upcoming technical studies. Rushton explained that the drilling was carried out at high angles to known mineralization, ensuring that the intersections are a close representation of true thickness. The weighted average core recovery in mineralized zones was an impressive 96%, indicating high drilling precision and core quality, although some lower recoveries were noted in shallow zones and around historical underground workings. Hole AFD129 returned an intercept of 12.35 metres grading 302 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 0.66% copper, and 10.64% manganese, from just 2.40 to 16.75 metres downhole — highlighting the project's near-surface, high-grade potential. Hole AFD130 was even more remarkable, yielding a 35.55-metre interval averaging 322 g/t silver, with substantial copper and manganese values throughout. Notably, within this interval was a high-grade sub-section at 7.10 metres, which returned 1174 g/t silver and an impressive 11.14% manganese. The company noted that assay results for the final 11 drill holes from the Phase 2 campaign are expected to be released in the near term. Donald Trump says the tone and spirit of this morning's conversation with Russian's President Vladimir Putin were excellent. This comes following a two-hour call between the two leaders, with Trump now saying Ukraine and Russia will immediately start working towards a ceasefire. He's reportedly also wrapped up a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Kyiv-based Foreign Policy and Security Analyst Jimmy Rushton told Mike Hosking Putin has Trump right where he wants him, and he's clearly being manipulated and worked by Putin. He says Trump and his Secretary of State Marco Rubio, are simply making things up as they go along. After the Kremlin confirmed it's sending low-level official Vladimir Medinsky, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to send his Defence Minister instead. Zelenskyy says Russia isn't serious about real talks after he'd challenged Vladimir Putin to be there in person. Kyiv based foreign policy analyst Jimmy Rushton told Ryan Bridge essentially, Putin had challenged Zelenskyy first. The timing of the meeting remains unconfirmed. In 2020, the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference featured a panel entitled, "Soccer Analytics: The Beautiful Game Meets the Analytics Edge." While the broader sporting public was acknowledging that soccer analytics had finally hit the mainstream, it had been evolving for decades. Starting with the work of Charles Reep, who is largely credited as being the first person to capture soccer match data en masse then analyze it, soccer analytics truly accelerated in the 2000s. A combination of American influence co-mingled with application globally pushed the practice forward. Thanks to the "Moneyball" phenomenon, conferences like Sloan, enterprising data scientists and opportunistic entrepreneurs, soccer analytics began to forge an influential path with English clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool Lucy Rushton broke into the soccer world in that environment. After working for her hometown club, Reading FC and then later Watford FC, Rushton moved to the US to take on a lead analytics role for Atlanta United in Major League Soccer. She was later hired as the General Manager of DC United and then also of Bay FC in the National Women's Soccer League.
