The Lasers kick off episode 2 of season 2 (Robbing Season?) with Oprah talk, where they expound her many achievements, and then the Baltimore accent. Jay shares his dislike for Charlamagne and defends Lakeith Stanfield while Mike shares his dislike for Lakeith Stanfield and defends Charlamagne. Mark Cuban’s gross behaviour and large fingers get aired. Mike and Jay have a serious discussion surrounding privilege, white and otherwise (ok just white), and discuss what it means to really be an ally. They talk male pattern baldness and general hat remedies while Jared Leto does Japan. Hey everyone, welcome back to the show! This week, Bally closes out Link to the Past and expresses both joy and frustration at the SNES classic. He also finally fininshes a game that has been on his backlog forever, namely New Super Mario Bros U! Nbz not only has played a Zelda game, but also something which has been on his backlog forever, Ocarina of Time 3D! After 15 years he is finally done with it, and tells the whole tale! He also played a couple of shorter games on Steam, Fenix Rage and Race The Sun! This is one of my favorite interviews that I did this weekend with Aaron San Filippo from Flippfly. We got to talk a bit about their most recent game Race The Sun and it's upcoming release on the Playstation Network as well as Aaron's advice to developer for getting their games out there to the public. We also touch on Aaron's time at Raven Software before jumping out on his own. It was a fun interview, and I recommend ever indie developer check out Aaron's blog on the Flippfly website regarding the changing landscape of the industry.
