Jørgensen dengang betød for dem. Faktisk kunne hans rejse gennem dansk rock i 70'erne være foregået bag trommerne i Gasolin', da hans ven, Bjørn Uglebjerg forlod bandet, men Wulff takkede pænt nej. You ain't nothing but a hounddog!!!” Lyt med her:

Making a Scene Presents an Interview with Frank L. GoldwasserFormerly known in blues circles as “Paris Slim”, Franck L. Goldwasser was born and raised in Paris, France in the 1960's and studied fine arts before moving to Oakland, California in 1983. A self-taught guitarist and vocalist, Goldwasser began studying the recordings of Elmore James, B.B. King and T- Bone Walker at age 16. In 1978, Goldwasser's first public appearance finds him jamming with the renowned harmonica player Sugar Blue (of Rolling Stones' "Miss You" fame), then a Paris resident. Gaining experience while sitting-in with with visiting American bluesmen such as Luther Allison, George Smith, Jimmy Dawkins and Phillip Walker, Goldwasser lands his first professional gigs as backup guitarist for his idol Texas-bred California bluesman Sonny Rhodes in Paris and Reims. Following Rhodes' invitation to come to California, the Frenchman spends three months in Oakland and Los Angeles in 1981, meeting and jamming with Big Mama Thornton, Smokey Wilson, Lowell Fulson, Frankie Lee, Mark Naftalin, Buddy Ace, Troyce Key and J.J. Malone, Cool Papa and Mark Hummel, while documenting the West Coast blues scene for the French music magazine Soul Bag. Having moved permanently to the San Francisco Bay Area in June 1983 , Franck Goldwasser immerses himself in the then-vibrant East Bay blues scene, quickly landing a job in singer-guitarist Troyce Key's band. While gigging every weekend at the famed Eli Mile High club, he hones his skills working alongside West Coast blues titans Percy Mayfield, Lowell Fulson and Jimmy McCracklin, as well as Bay Area blues luminaries Omar “The Magnificient” Shariff (formerly Dave Alexander), Johnny Heartsman, Ron Thompson and Elvin Bishop.

It's a very special episode as Asian Jon and Average Joe celebrate 100 episodes of bat-jarring with a couple of special guests, some surprises, and looking back on the series where Fox couldn't take the sky from Joss Whedon. After a brief look back on our first one hundred episodes and a round of the news game, the crew discuss one of the most requested episode topics to date, the 2002 television series "Firefly". What was it about this series that made it so special? Why did it get cancelled after only one season? What kept Average Joe from watching the series for so many years? Music and audio from "The New Batman Adventures" is the property of Shirley Walker, Alan Burnett, Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, DC Comics, and Warner Brothers Animation. Music and audio from "Firefly" is the property of Joss Whedon, Sonny Rhodes, Greg Edmonson, Ben Edlund, Mutant Enemy Productions, and 20th Century Television. Welcome back to Pilot Inspectors. In honor of our 200th episode, we are discussing the multiple "pilot" episodes of the 2002 Fox series Firefly, from writer/director Joss Whedon. The first part of our episode will be a discussion on the episode "The Train Job," which was the episode originally aired by Fox as the pilot episode of the show. The second half of our episode contains our discussion of the episode "Serenity," which was the first episode filmed for the series. Today's intro music is "The Ballad of Serenity" by Sonny Rhodes.
Florida native Selwyn Birchwood cut his teeth touring with his neighbor, blues legend Sonny Rhodes before breaking out on his own and earning the top spot in the 2013 International Blues Challenge. Alligator records quickly picked up the rising fiery guitar trailblazer and released his debut, ‘Don’t Call No Ambulance’ which earned several awards. He’s celebrating his second studio effort, ‘Pick Your Poison’ which crafts authentic traditional blues sounds with contemporary innovations to make a bold statement. Selwyn is one of the most exciting talents in the blues.

Kelowna, British Columbia's Rick Halisheff - a.k.a. Poppa Dawg - turns in a solid set of traditional Blues penned by the excellent guitarist and singer. 'Nobody Here Feels Sorry For You' bounces between Hokum and Jump; 'Croc Talkin', a greasy, minor-key funk instrumental features some of the snarkiest wah tone ever waxed; and 'This Man' is a towering deep soul number. 'I Ain't Leavin' shuffles with Stevie Ray Vaughan power, '1, 2, Gone' swings like Ronnie Earl's best work and 'Cool Little Number' is reminiscent of Little Charlie and Rick Estrin's hipper stuff. Hailing originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Rick 'Poppa Dawg' Halisheff has played for 20 yrs in a variety of bands and has backed up such artists as Kenny 'Blues Boss' Wayne, Michael Pickett, Harpdog Brown, Sherman 'Tank' Doucette, and Juno Award winner Dave Nicol. For 10 years, he has been the bandleader and frontman for the very successful Western Canadian Blues band Dogskin Suit. In that time, they recorded 2 CDs, received airplay in Canada, and around the World including CBC's Saturday Night Blues and won numerous awards including Best Local Band 2001 & 2002 and an Honour In The Arts award. They have shared the stage as opening acts and fellow musicians with Sonny Rhodes, Michale Pickett, Tony Coleman(BB King), Fathead, Frankie Lee, Johnny V, Jeff Healey, Jim Byrnes, Donnie McDougall(The Guess Who), Danny McBride(Chris DeBurg), Shirley King, The Powder Blues, Terry Edmunds and many others.
