Jörn Marcussen-Wulff gehört zu den umtriebigsten Akteuren der Hannoverschen Jazzszene. Eine Szene, die in den letzten 15 Jahren stark gewachsen und erfrischend lebendig geworden ist. Der Posaunist ist Mitbegründer und Leiter der Bigband „Fette Hupe“ und war viele Jahre aktives Mitglied der Jazz Musiker:innen Initiative Hannover.1981 im Schleswig-Holsteinischen Laboe geboren und auf einem Bauernhof aufgewachsen, ist Jörn Marcussen-Wulff allerdings ein Kind der Küste geblieben. „Ich liebe das da oben“, schwärmt er.Aktuell lehrt Jörn Marcussen-Wulff als Dozent für Komposition, Arrangement, Jazz-Theorie und Bigband an der Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar. Außerdem ist er künstlerischer Leiter des Landesjugendjazzorchesters Hamburg. Seit diesem Jahr leitet er zudem das Bujazzo, das Bundesjazzorchester, als Doppelspitze mit Theresia Philipp.Im Gespräch mit Andrea Schwyzer spricht Jörn Marcussen-Wulff über seine neue Aufgabe, die damit verbundenen Visionen und seine Leidenschaft für Jazz und Bigband-Musik.

Als Neunjährige beginnt Lisa Wulff mit Klavier- und Gitarrenunterricht, es folgen der E-Bass und der Kontrabass – ihr heutiges Hauptinstrument. Wulff erhält zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, darunter den Deutschen Jazzpreis, arbeitet mit bekannten Jazzgrößen wie Nils Landgren oder Rolf Kühn zusammen.
