A disfrutar!1. The Morning Announcements, Don't Leave Recess In Pieces2. Being pregnant and giving birth is a life-changing event for any woman. Every woman wants a smooth pregnancy where everything goes according to plan. Unfortunately, things don't always go according to plan. Meet Shirley King. Shirley used to be a project manager. When she fell pregnant one of the first things she did was to create a project plan for her pregnancy. However, she was not prepared for losing her job, feeling lonely, and not getting sufficient support. Shirley decided to do something to help other women go through an easier pregnancy than she did. She's passionate about helping women not to feel overwhelmed or abandoned during pregnancy. I am super excited that Shirley agreed to share her inspirational story with us. Some of the main topics that were discussed during the interview include: 0:35 – How Shirley's amazing journey started when she became pregnant. 10:07 – How she started a community where pregnant women can get support, and support each other. 11:05 – What she's working on at the moment. It will help women during pregnancy and teach them to be more prepared when the time comes to give birth. 13:37 – How she helps women stress less about things they don't need to worry about or that can wait until after they have given birth. 17:14 – What hypnobirthing is and how it can help you stay calm and relaxed when you're ready to give birth. 19:37 – Shirley explains how it helps to know in advance what you're allowed to ask for when you're in hospital. 21:16 – Why she advises women not be to scared to reach out, even from the first trimester. This is a topic that's close to her heart and important to know if you're pregnant. ------------ This is my favourite tool to get more sales with less clients, check it out here: https://bit.ly/ClickfunnelsDO You can listen to this amazing episode in your favourite platform: ►Itunes: https://bit.ly/ItunesDianaOlynick ►Spotify: https://bit.ly/DianaOlynick ►Stitcher: https://bit.ly/StitcherDianaO ►Pocket Casts: https://pca.st/cc6kn0mx ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** Wondering how to get more sales without more clients? Today’s guest is the “Daughter of Blues” Shirley King. Being the blues singing daughter of B.B. King has earned Shirley King the title “Daughter of the Blues”, but she is an outstanding singer and performer in her own right and capable of singing any kind of music that comes her way. (http://bettereachday.me/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/images.jpg) Her newest full-length album, Blues For A King, crosses musical genres from blues to rock to soul. Even next to such iconic guests as Joe Louis Walker, Robben Ford, Junior Wells, Pat Travers & Elvin Bishop, King absolutely shines as she performs spectacular versions of classics “Feelin’ Alright”, “Gallows Pole” and a powerful version of Etta James’ unforgettable “At Last”, which signals that, at long last, Shirley King is finally getting the attention and recognition she so richly deserves. (http://bettereachday.me/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/unnamed.jpg) Track List: 1. All Of My Lovin’ feat. Joe Louis Walker 2. Feelin’ Alright feat. Duke Robillard 3. I Did You Wrong feat. Elvin Bishop 4. That’s All Right Mama feat. Pat Travers 5. Can’t Find My Way Home feat. Martin Barre 6. Johnny Porter feat. Arthur Adams 7. Feeling Good feat. Robben Ford 8. Give It All Up feat. Kirk Fletcher 9. Gallows Pole feat. Harvey Mandel 10. Hoodoo Man Blues feat. Junior Wells & Joe Louis Walker 11. At Last feat. Steve Cropper Born and raised in Memphis, Shirley began singing in the church choir at age nine. When she was thirteen, she met another music legend – Etta James. Young Shirley was so impressed by Etta’s performance that she made Etta her musical role model. Ruth Brown and the late Mahalia Jackson also greatly influenced the fledgling singer. Shirley says, “I grew up around the stage watching my dad become famous, but I never imagined I’d become a blues singer too.” (http://bettereachday.me/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/download-1.jpg) Blues For A King will be available on both CD and vinyl starting June 19 from Cleopatra Blues, a subsidiary of Cleopatra Records, Inc. Robbie Bartlett’s signature voice spans R&B, soul, and jazz. Bartlett and her band have opened shows for Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Sheryl Crow, The Righteous Brothers, and many others. David Crosby and Graham Nash specifically asked for her to perform before and after their concert. The legendary B. B. King once sent word back through his daughter, Shirley King, “Who is that? I like her voice,” after hearing Robbie sing with her band. She is an accomplished vocalist, bandleader, composer, and performer. Bartlett recently finished her first movie score “The Gift of Your Love” with Travis Myles who wrote the movie and lyrics to the title song. Bartlett wrote the score for the title song, recorded, played piano, and sang. Bartlett started singing at age four, and developed a strong foundation in R&B and jazz. Her warm smoky alto voice is heard regularly at popular Louisville area nightclubs, where she has performed since 1982. Styles include “Respect” by Aretha Franklin, “Good Morning Heartache” by Billie Holiday, “Give Me One Reason” by Tracy Chapman, and “At Last” by Etta James. Bartlett received the Kentuckiana Blues Society Sylvester Weaver Award in 2012, and was voted #1 for R&B/soul in Louisville, Ky. in 2014. She is always in high demand for outdoor festivals, weddings, birthdays, country club activities, fundraisers, and house concerts. Bartlett resides in the Germantown area of Louisville.

Kelowna, British Columbia's Rick Halisheff - a.k.a. Poppa Dawg - turns in a solid set of traditional Blues penned by the excellent guitarist and singer. 'Nobody Here Feels Sorry For You' bounces between Hokum and Jump; 'Croc Talkin', a greasy, minor-key funk instrumental features some of the snarkiest wah tone ever waxed; and 'This Man' is a towering deep soul number. 'I Ain't Leavin' shuffles with Stevie Ray Vaughan power, '1, 2, Gone' swings like Ronnie Earl's best work and 'Cool Little Number' is reminiscent of Little Charlie and Rick Estrin's hipper stuff. Hailing originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Rick 'Poppa Dawg' Halisheff has played for 20 yrs in a variety of bands and has backed up such artists as Kenny 'Blues Boss' Wayne, Michael Pickett, Harpdog Brown, Sherman 'Tank' Doucette, and Juno Award winner Dave Nicol. For 10 years, he has been the bandleader and frontman for the very successful Western Canadian Blues band Dogskin Suit. In that time, they recorded 2 CDs, received airplay in Canada, and around the World including CBC's Saturday Night Blues and won numerous awards including Best Local Band 2001 & 2002 and an Honour In The Arts award.
