The stationery secret that has made me millions?Special shoutout to all my fellow stationery geeks because you are going to love this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast. I'm diving into the stationery secret that has made me millions. Yep, you heard that right! If any of you need an excuse to go stationery shopping, this is it.Plus as it's Day 4 of #Tashmas I have a gift for you!But first: What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! You get a daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a present every day! It could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… something fun every single day.Today, we are looking at how STATIONERY makes us MONEY... I mean... COME ON!Let's jump in!Embracing my Love for StationeryBefore I spill the stationery secret, let me share a story. I've talked about this before, and while some might tire of it, stationary lovers will surely enjoy it.I used to live near the beach, making it easy to bike to Officeworks, a big stationery store here in Australia.I had this electric tricycle with a basket for my purchases at the front and another at the back for Munchkin, my dog. We often stopped at Officeworks during our rides. I once told Davey I needed to buy some Post-its.He sassily remarked that I had just bought some a few weeks ago, and asked how many I really needed.BUT... Here's the thing: I used those Post-its during a retreat to map out a course and some key tasks, and those very actions being implemented, and that course being mapped out... well it all turned into a $75,000 launch! Eventually, those Post-its helped me make $200,000.Needless to say, from then on, every time we rode near Officeworks, Davey would ask if I needed more Post-its! This little system of mine is the stationery secret behind making millions.Creating a system to turn stationery into incomeIt's not just about buying loads of Post-it notes. It's about creating a method to manage yourself and your tasks. This stationery system keeps me focused on generating income and staying productive. Tasks I've mapped on Post-its over the past decade have brought in millions for my business.Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

Full article and links available at tashcorbin.com/433Do you sometimes wonder whether you left it too late to start your business? The good news is that you're not alone, and there are benefits of being late to this online business party. That's exactly what I'm addressing in this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, and it's Day 3 of #Tashmas so there's a special gift in it for you as well! But first: What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! You get a daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual... but you ALSO get a present every day! It could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... something fun every single day.Today, let's map out some of the BENEFITS of being late to start your online business...Let's dive in!Is it too late? You might think starting an online business now is daunting with all the competition and market saturation. Especially now that we're in an economic contraction, it seems to be easier for more established businesses to adjust their strategy and survive, because they have an existing audience. But being late to the party isn't always a bad thing. In fact, there are some really juicy benefits - I have four in particular to share. You're not alone!I remember when I started this podcast all the way back in 2015, I thought I had missed the boat completely when it came to podcasting. I was sure that the entire podcast market was completely saturated, and there was no space left in the market. That's particularly hilarious because three of the podcasts I listen to consistently are in the Top 10 in Australia, and didn't start until 2019 or later. I had already been running my podcast for 4 years when they started.Does audience size matter? One of the things people get very concerned about is the size of their audience - especially on long-established platforms. If you haven't made it on Facebook by now, you never will... right? WRONG! New pages emerge and generate huge followings quickly, even to this day. But the days of needing a big following, or measuring your success by audience size are over anyway. Anyone can buy followers. That doesn't actually mean you're successfully running a business on that platform.Using Facebook as the example, Facebook ads have become really cheap compared to what they were 2 to 3 years ago. I'm seeing a big drop in the cost of Facebook ads because there's more competition for the advertising dollar from other platforms now, But there are business owners who saw that ads were getting more expensive a few years ago, and decided to abandon them altogether. Similarly, now that Instagram Reels don't get the same reach as carousels and feed posts, people assume they've missed the opportunity to grow an audience. Same with TikTok.Keep reading and grab the links at tashcorbin.com/433Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

I've got an entire episode about what to do when something horrible happens in business. And it's Day 2 of the #Tashmas series, which means I have a gift for you!But first: What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! You get a daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual... but you ALSO get a present every day! It could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... something fun every single day.Today, let's explore what to do when something horrible happens in your business. It sounds intense, but don't stress; I've got your back with some down-to-earth strategies and resources you'll love.Ready? Let's do it!Worrying about something horrible happeningIf you've only been in business for a short amount of time, you may have some fears about what might go wrong as a business owner. Regardless of how long you've been in business, I think we all still have some fears about some of the bad things that might happen to us as business owners. Some of those things may have already happened in the past, so we're afraid of them happening again. But in a lot of cases, those things haven't happened to us yet, so we can catastrophise what might happen, and how it might feel.I therefore have put together five things that you can do when something horrible happens in your business.1. Get some perspectiveI think when we are deep in our business and when our business is our livelihood, it's also wrapped up in our identity. We can lose perspective about what's important and what is happening. So I think it's really powerful to just gain some perspective about what this means in the grand scheme of things.Let's say you make a mistake with a client. Whether that means you have to redo some of the work you did for them, they ask for a discount, or a refund, or they don't want to work with you anymore... In 10 years' time, when you look back at this mistake, will you still have anxiety about it? In most cases, the answer would be no. In most cases, you will be grateful for what you can learn from making that mistake. You can learn how to not make it in the future, and you'll move on. Things that feel like they're big and hard and life-altering and horrendous now, will just be like water off a duck's back in five years' time. What feels really hard today won't feel so hard three months from now....read the rest and grab the links at tashcorbin.com/432Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

We would rather have a lot of clients who are paying us less than be top-tier pricing in the market.I think a lot of people also underestimate how much their audience might value the work that they do and the transformation that they facilitate.I'm definitely an advocate for consistently reviewing your prices and looking for evidence that it's time for you to increase them.In today's episode, I've got eight signs that you should pay attention to that could indicate it's time for you to review and increase your prices....Show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/430Follow Tash on Facebook: facebook.com/tashcorbincoachingLet me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

I then go and share the podcast episode to my mailing list, then I do a post in a year's time where it's I mention this podcast again. That's reusing/redistributing the exact same piece of content. But there is a difference between doing that and actually repurposing/redefining your content with a slightly different angle. That is also different to me taking short, bite-sized chunks of the recording of this podcast and then resharing those chunks as they currently exist. There are definitely lots of ways that you can reshare existing content in its exact same current form. But one of the things that I think a lot of content creators and business owners miss out on doing (and it's actually a lost opportunity to really hit their message home) is by looking at the same piece of advice or the same piece of content from a slightly different angle.I call this a repurposing angle. ... EEK!Nartarsha Bamblett on Intuition and IdentityOne of the exercises was to practice gratitude for the good and the bad, and I shared with the conference room that I am grateful that I created conference, and I am grateful for the financial loss of the first one, AND the fact that I kept running it from there.Emma Veiga-Malta on Unleashing your Inner CreativeI realised that I had been treating creativity as a reward for good business behaviour, rather than embracing it as part of the process. Interestingly, I used to do that with self-care and rest - treat it as a reward, rather than a necessity.Denise Duffield-Thomas on Money Mindset The big insight was seeing how my sense of responsibility for others can create a feeling that more financial success will just create more responsibilities - possibly a reason why I have had an income plateau for the last few years. Interesting!Leonie Dawson's Channelled Message - You are GoldenOne of the things I keep remembering from Leonie's presentation was that birds don't sing their morning song, and then check to see how many likes they got. They sing for the joy of it. They sing because that's what they are made to do. That's part of their identity.Lisa Twohig on Audience ConnectionThe big take-away insight for me came from Lisa's workbook question - What's the easiest way for me to spend more quality time with my audience?I'll be playing with some new strategies, and reminding myself that quality time is a priority - because I absolutely agree that it is!Rebecca Saunders on Going NarrowIt was powerful to hear once again that reminder that niching is super-important - it gives you the opportunity to go deep with your audience, and to get more specific with your messaging.Clare Wood on Cash Flow with ConfidenceThe more consistently you use a system, the more likely you are to stick with it - so I have shortened the intervals on a bunch of things to see how that works, and already it's made a big difference. And don't forget - GET YOUR 2025 TICKET!Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

There's one part of social media that I think people can find particularly frustrating: trying to tip the social media algorithms in their favour. In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I'm going to tell you how to tip the algorithms in your favour... not by jumping through a bunch of hoops and setting up 95,000 different rules for yourself. But by taking a long-term approach to your social media growth, and making sure that you make the algorithms your friend.Social media algorithms are very kind to me. But that's because I have been kind to them and I have always taken a long-term approach when it comes to tipping social media algorithms in my favour. If you want to do the same - you want to get out of the algorithm short-term, tying-yourself-in-knots, what's-the-algorithm-doing-now dramas, and you want to tip those algorithms in your favour, then make sure that you stay tuned to this episode of the podcast. The first thing I want to say when it comes to social media algorithms is do not tie yourself in knots trying to understand every single little nuance, change and rule that social media marketers tell you you need to follow in order to tip the algorithms in your favour.Social media marketers and mentors have a vested interest in convincing you that social media algorithms need to be kept up-to-date with on a minute-to-minute basis. That keeps you plugged into their content feed. That keeps you plugged into buying their latest offer, which has new social media algorithm updates and the latest insights from the social media algorithms.Yes, social media algorithms are constantly being updated. But as a creator on social media, that does not mean that you need to know about every single change to the algorithm....Show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/417Follow Tash on Facebook: facebook.com/tashcorbincoachingJoin the Heart-Centred Soul-Driven Entrepreneurs: facebook.com/groups/hcsdeLet me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

Well in this episode, I'm going to encourage you to hold your horses for just a moment until you can validate your new offer...How would it feel if you could release your new offer out to market already knowing that your audience will love it, that you've got great messaging behind it, and that it's going to make sales? That's the difference between launching a validated offer versus launching a cold offer. In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I'm going to walk you through how to validate your new offer so that when you release it to market, you can be confident that it's going to sell. Before we go into the detailed strategy in today's episode, I want to acknowledge that at the end of the day, the only way to truly validate whether someone will buy your offer or not, is to offer it to them and see if they buy it.Ultimately, you can have as many people as you want say that the offer is great and they would definitely buy it... but if you've launched offers in the past having had people say they definitely would buy something like that, you've probably also experienced the frustration of those very same people not buying it.True validation comes when people buy it....show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/416Follow Tash on Facebook: facebook.com/tashcorbincoachingJoin the Heart-Centred Soul-Driven Entrepreneurs: facebook.com/groups/hcsdeLet me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

Whether it's selling a group program like the Take Off program, or selling a VIP package to work with me, what do you think gets the most sales for me in my business? You might be surprised to learn that even at this stage of my business, my number one strategy is sales conversations. My number one sales strategy is talking to people one-on-one (whether it's in writing or on a Zoom call), making sure that I understand what it is that they're looking for, what they need and what they're struggling with, and then helping them to work out what the best next step might be for us to work together...And we do that on a sales conversation.Hearing that might make you feel a bit EEEEEKKK because as a buyer, you may have experienced one of those pushy sales conversations, or as a seller, you may have felt a bit awkward when doing sales conversations. It's something that a lot of people try to avoid very clearly in their business. They don't want to face up to having to hear the rejection one-on-one. Or they find it really awkward and uncomfortable because they think they need to be pushy or they need to be switched on and in sales mode. But that's not the case.In today's episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I'm going to walk you through my consent-based sales conversation structure. The reason why I want to do that is because:1. When you see it all laid out, you'll see why it's so effective.2. Having that structure will help you to feel more comfortable in having sales conversations yourself.3. Seeing the consent-based approach to sales conversations really highlights the difference between consent-based sales conversations and those pushy aggressive sales conversations. That will help you as both a buyer and a seller.... show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/407Follow Tash on Facebook: facebook.com/tashcorbincoachingJoin the Heart-Centred Soul-Driven Entrepreneurs: facebook.com/groups/hcsdeLet me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

People just bought it and then I never heard from them again2. I had no idea if it worked for them or if they filled it in3. Seeing as filling it in is only the first part of the equation, I wanted to make sure they IMPLEMENTED their plan!...show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/404Follow Tash on Facebook: facebook.com/tashcorbincoachingJoin the Heart-Centred Soul-Driven Entrepreneurs: facebook.com/groups/hcsdeLet me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

In response to that podcast episode, I've received so much feedback and so many follow-up questions. One of the most common questions that people asked was about the upsell - specifically, how they CAN upsell from low-ticket.In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I'm going to break down how you upsell from a low-ticket product with integrity and using consent-based marketing practices. This is a very practical episode that's going to be very helpful - especially if you do choose to sell low-ticket products. Before we dive into this episode, I want to map out for you what I'm going to cover:1. Using low-ticket products as a lead magnet in your business - charging people for a product, and then using that as a way to get an opportunity to upsell them into further work with you.2. How to upsell to bigger offers in a way that isn't discrediting yourself, or creating some kind of friction or tension with your potential customers.3. How to upsell with integrity using consent-based marketing practices.First and foremost, I do want to say that having a low-ticket offer in your business can be super helpful.... It doesn't take into account anyone wanting to start a business with limited time.At least I assume that that's what they're saying, because when they talk about all the things that you HAVE to be doing, otherwise you're leaving money on the table and you'll never be successful in business, there's no way you can jam all of that in if you've got limited time.In today's episode, I'm going to talk to you about starting a business with limited time.Whether that is because you're starting it as a side hustle, you have household responsibilities, you are unwell, or some other reason, I want to help you create business growth and sustainable profitability as quickly as possible with that limited time.Let's dive into this juicy practical episode about starting a business with limited time!If you haven't yet heard me speak about the hours that I work in my business, you may not realise that at this point, I am still working less than 20 hours a week in my business.A big reason for that is because I had surgery in 2021 that was a result of some very terrible health issues, and my recovery from that surgery was terrible. Watch, read or listen at: tashcorbin.com/336It's important that you fill that gap first, because if you're making zero sales when you're only reaching a tiny audience, then if we multiply that audience by 100, you're still going to make zero sales... zero times 100 is still zero....Show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/401Follow Tash on Facebook: https://facebook.com/tashcorbincoaching Join the Heart-Centred Soul-Driven Entrepreneurs: https://facebook.com/groups/hcsde

They're more informal episodes where I just want to share an insight or start a conversation without having completely figured out the concept yet. They may even bring up more questions than answers! Some of these conversations have stemmed from Facebook Lives that I've done. But wanted to bring them to the podcast so that we can dive a little bit deeper, start some epic convos, and just have a little carpet time together. The whole premise behind doing these pod carpets is to have an exploratory conversation about a particular topic or a question that's come up...This first one starts with a moment of gratitude.I recently did a webinar where I was talking about how grateful I am that I didn't have a lot of money when I first started my business.I really do believe that if I had had $20,000 to start my business, not only would I have spent that money on things that wouldn't have moved me forward... but it would have also slowed down my progress in starting my business....Show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/399Follow Tash on Facebook: https://facebook.com/tashcorbincoaching Join the Heart-Centred Soul-Driven Entrepreneurs: https://facebook.com/groups/hcsde

Surely not, I see you everywhere! These are some of the most consistent things I hear whenever I talk about productivity and hours of work.AND YES - I sell a planning system, so I have a bit of a bias towards using a planner to know what you're doing when you sit to get work done.BUT I'm not talking about the bigger system today. Instead I want to focus on the core of my productivity, which I believe can be attributed to the way I start and end my day.SO - in this episode I'm sharing my morning and end of day routines that boost my productivity. That way, if you want to try some of these out for yourself, you can!Ready to boost your productivity with some simple ways to start and end your day?Let's do it, shall we? Let the productivity pod... BEGIN!These are my top productivity boosters, that I use at the start and end of my day... most days. Let's start by covering the end of day first, because my end of day routine feeds into my start of day routine on the next day that I work in my business.Firstly - I have the same end of day routine, no matter what time I finish up! Some days, I'm finished my day by 10am... because my key tasks are DONE, and I get to decide if I want to dive into more, or if I'm done. The end of my work day can be at very different times of the day, but I always end off with the same little closing down routine:Tracking my income: I calculate and track my income received since my last income tracking (generally the end of the previous day).Quick journaling: Usually this is simply 2-3 sentences about how I'm feeling. The prompts vary, but it's generally about my output (what I've done today) or my outcomes (what results have come in today).Tomorrow's priorities: I flip to the next day of my planner, and I write down my top three actions for the next day. This is particularly important, because that sets up my 'start of day' routine for the next day (as you'll see in the following section).Laptop shutdown: Once I have my top 3 tasks for the next day, I shut down my computer. YES, every day, I close all the tabs down. I shut down properly, and then close the lid of my laptop.Planner on top: My final step - I pop my planner on top of my laptop. I'm literally making it impossible for me to open my laptop the next day without picking up my planner. My end of day routine is something that's taken years to refine... but it works so well for me.Why income tracking and...Read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/398

Of course, I'm also going to tell you how to spot that red flag in what they are teaching online. There are plenty of things that give me the ick, because there are plenty of mediocre and quite frankly dodgy business coaches out there... and I think you'll be surprised by the biggest red flag I look out for!PLUS I can't wait to hear if it's one you look out for as well... and I have a special invitation for you to test and question me!SOUND LIKE FUN??Let's get into it! Here for the links referenced in the show notes?Come and ask a question: tashcorbin.com/question I'll be honest - there are plenty of things that turn me off from business coaches, mentors and gurus.Especially these ones:Toxic marketing: bypassing people's consent in their sales and marketing process.Agitation-based messaging: Share giant results and minimise the effort required to get them. This makes audiences feel inadequate, because they haven't done this one little thing that would create massive results... all they need to do is work with the coach and BOOM their life will be fabulous. So much ick!Hustle-oriented messaging: Particularly coaches recommending the 5am club. A lot of 'hustle' content is created by straight white men (with wives who take care of all the household responsibilities) for straight white men (with wives who take care of all the household responsibilities). They say it's applicable to everyone, but they're coming from a privileged position that they can't even see is privileged. You've likely heard me say, "I care not for sunrises". I don't know about you, but I have had a task on my list for years: collect and share client testimonials.Whilst I do have some testimonials here and there, I don't share client testimonials or results on socials or in content consistently. So people ask me about that a bit, and ask if I'm worried about the sales I'm missing out on by not using them.I thought for this episode, we could have a conversation about some of the benefits and risks of using client testimonials, and why I actually choose NOT to use them in my business in the way other people do.Let's dive into this one, shall we? Let's talk testimonials!A client testimonial is usually a story about working with you in your client's words. For example: "I worked with Tash and before doing her program, working with her was such a joy and she really understood me."  And then there's the name and photo of the person who gave that testimonial. They are literally giving testimony as to the experience of and results from working with someone.A client result is where the mentor or provider shares a result that a client has achieved. This is often done through the lens of 'celebrating them' - e.g. "I want to celebrate my client who just went from here to there. So proud of you." These tend to be shared in a variety of ways - sometimes with the person's name, sometimes without... sometimes they are tagged... but not always. It doesn't always have to relate to a financial outcome - it could be that someone has finally published their book, or got their course out into the world or they've just finished their launch with 15 sales. Here's my take on sharing client results:Where that client result is something that you do not promise, I don't believe it is ethical to share that result. Where that client result is dependent on undisclosed existing results, assets, or additional work and investment, I also don't feel it is ethical. There are a number of reasons why:How do we know that that client result is actually verifiable and real, especially when their full name isn't included and they aren't tagged? It's so easy for those results to be faked. The use of those client results, especially where they are wildly out of the ordinary, is part of an agitation marketing strategy. Seeing someone else's result, that is almost unimaginable for you to achieve (and certainly not quickly) makes your audience uncomfortable. And it's done on purpose. The goal is to create agitation about the existing state they are in.... read the rest at tashcorbin.com/396

If you understand what value proposition is and you want to strengthen yours, this is going to be a good episode for you. If you have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to value proposition, it's even more important that you listen to this episode, because it's one of the core foundations of your business.
