Full show notes and links at: tashcorbin.com/477If you've seen the title of today's episode and know me, you might be a little confused. Yes, this is an episode all about introvert-friendly social media strategies, and yes, it's from me, Tash Corbin—the self-confessed raging extrovert. So you might be wondering: “Tash, how could you possibly teach me introvert-friendly ways to use social media? How do you even know what's introvert-friendly if you're not one of us?”Here's the thing—what I'm sharing isn't just “Tash-approved.” These are strategies that are introvert-approved, too, and have helped so many of my clients and listeners who are introverts themselves. It's actually one of the most common things I hear: that people hold back from being consistent on social media because it's just too much. It can feel overwhelming, like too many eyes on you, too much “peopling,” as I hear again and again. But let's be real: in a lot of ways, the internet was built by introverts for introverts. And showing up online can be way more manageable than we think, especially when we set it up in a way that genuinely lights us up (and doesn't drain us). That's what I want to unpack today, step-by-step. Let's dive into what actually makes a social media strategy feel good (and productive!) if you're an introvert.Let's get started.Keep reading and grab the links at: tashcorbin.com/477Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join me for my free workshop on 18th June - Resonate: Messaging that ignites action-takers.Register now at tashcorbin.com/resonate

Full show notes and links available at: tashcorbin.com/475This episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast is a bit out of the box, as I originally sent this as a long-form love note to my mailing list on April 7th.That email had the highest response rate of any of my emails in the last three years. One person actually requested that I record it as a podcast, so here we are.Today, I want to talk to you about the antidote to all the economic doom and gloom you might be hearing in the news, on social media, or in conversations all around you. If you're looking for some way to turn things around, this episode should help.Let's dive in.As we are subjected to more economic 'doom and gloom' messaging consistently right now, I wanted to share an out-of-the-usual podcast episode.Firstly, I want to acknowledge that 'economic pressure' looks REALLY different, for people in different financial situations. When you're struggling to cover your bills, or neck-deep in debt trying to survive... seeing people whinge about their multi-million dollar investment portfolio losing value can cause major eye-roll.So take what you need, and leave what you don't. And remember to be kind to others, and most importantly - to yourself. If you're doing it tough financially:Financial insecurity and crisis can do a real number on your nervous system. This can mean you're unable to sleep, unable to think, unable to focus, and unable to work your way out of it... you're locked in fight, flight, freeze, fawn.Continue reading and access links at: tashcorbin.com/475Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join me for Biz Boost 2025 - a week of stepping into your CEO energy, setting strategic priorities and taking action. Coercion-based marketing—where your consent is pushed aside and pressure tactics rule—seems everywhere online.Today I want to talk about the antidote: consent-based marketing. What is it, how does it work, and why does it actually help you create a more sustainable, ethical, and successful business?Let's break it all down.Keep reading and grab the links at: tashcorbin.com/474 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join me for Biz Boost 2025 - a week of stepping into your CEO energy, setting strategic priorities and taking action. Full article and show notes at: tashcorbin.com/473Have you put tooooo much into your lead magnet? Are you worried you've given too much for free, and now you need to charge for it?This is a pretty common occurrence, especially for those business owners who have a lot to say, a lot to share, and are generous with their audiences. This episode digs into what to do, what not to do, and how to ensure your lead magnet is doing its job.PLUS because it's Day 12 of #Tashmas, I have quite a spectacular offer for you. (AND Day 12 of #Tashmas also means... it's my BIRTHDAY!)Wait... What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual... but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... but there will be something for YOU every single day.Today's gift is a VIP Package - but with VERY limited spaces, so check it out sooner rather than later if you're keen to work together.Let's dive in, shall we?Over-Engineered Lead MagnetsHaving a lead magnet that's just far too awesome is something that actually comes up a lot inside my Take Off programme. It usually goes like this: people want to create a freebie, their lead magnet, or opt-in. Then, the freebie idea grows and grows, with more and more included in it... until it has expanded so much that it's no longer a good lead magnet. You can start to feel like you can't really give this away for free anymore, because it's too big. It's far too valuable and involved, so you're tempted to change the entire model and turn it into a leveraged or passive product. This lead magnet was created to be a freebie and achieve a certain job, but now it has a price on it, there's still a gap in your strategy. The goal that you were aiming to achieve with the lead magnet still has not been achieved.Continue reading full article and show notes at: tashcorbin.com/473Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

But... setting up a waitlist first could be a better strategy for you. But it's not just for new offers! In this episode, I outline five reasons to try waitlists - I'm not sharing how, but I have a previous episode with the 'how' - click here.1. Validate firstThe first reason is it validates the interest in an offer before building it. It checks whether the topic interests your audience, if the delivery model is appealing, and how much value people place on the transformation you're offering. It's particularly important for new group offerings—to ensure hitting minimum viable numbers. Setting up a waitlist gauges initial interest and excitement, confirming you have basics covered.Continue reading full article and show notes at: tashcorbin.com/472Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

WOOT!Let's get into this one!!!My Business Gamification FrameworkI'm so excited to share my framework in today's episode, as this will help you to gamify people's experiences in your business. Gamification is powerful to increase engagement and completion, whether it's used in your freebies and content, or in your paid programs and VIP packages. What is gamification? For those unfamiliar with gamification, this refers to turning your content and programs into a "game" in order to maximise engagement and completion. There are lots of ways to gamify learning, through competition, points systems, creating levels and more.As business owners, knowing how to gamify our learning opportunities is a brilliant skill and a powerful way to improve your content and programs. Why gamify?By turning learning into a game, you increase the participation and completion rates - which then leads to better client outcomes. Epic.Gamifying content or courses makes it more fun, increasing the likelihood of engagement and completion. Whether for neurodivergent or neurotypical people, gamification maximises engagement with new learning experiences. Gamification is used in school settings, the workplace, and gaming industries. I've developed a business-specific version over the years based on purposefully applying gamification principles to my content and programs for the last six years.Continue reading and access show notes at: tashcorbin.com/471Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... but there will be something for YOU every single day.Today's gift is your chance to WIN a VIP mentoring session .. yes, another one!Let's do this!!!Admiration and agitation marketing trapsHave you bought something and soon felt buyer's remorse or couldn't remember your initial excitement for the purchase? If so, you're not alone. This is common, especially for online business owners who are constantly exposed to online marketing and eager for quick results. This makes them vulnerable to certain marketing strategies that bypass informed consent and manipulate them into buying. When manipulated, you're likely to regret the purchase or forget why you made it.One prevalent deceptive marketing practice is admiration and agitation marketing. In this Heart-Centred Business Podcast episode, I want to discuss this strategy, highlighting traps and red flags so you can avoid them and prevent buyer's remorse or forgetfulness about purchases.Let's break it down:Admiration and agitation marketing involves two primary strategies, and two more hidden strategies: Building audience admiration, agitating their current state, minimising the workload to transform, and making people feel less-than for not having sorted it yet.1. AdmirationAdmiration comes from marketers boasting about their and their clients' achievements, making you admire them, their results, and their clients' results. Such marketing includes celebrating successes or waking up to five-figure sales. It's not only in business-to-business or marketing spaces; it's seen in parenting, relationships, health, and other niches. It's more frequent where money is involved but extends to other areas.Continue reading and access full show notes at: tashcorbin.com/470Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

Finding it hard to keep up with all the advice and guidelines about how to get reach for your posts? Well... In today's episode, we're going to discuss how to align algorithms with your goals and really learn to make them work in your favour. We're answering the question: Are you an algorithm bestie or minion?Let's dive in, and don't forget to grab your #Tashmas gift today as it's a great free resource!Wait... The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... but there will be something for YOU every single day.Today's gift is a free resource to help you improve your sales on social media, particularly with organic strategies.Let's get into it!!!So many algorithm rules and guidelines! Now, there seems to be a growing list of rules, tips, and strategies you need to follow just to have any hope of reaching people on social media. We need to keep the algorithms on our side—don't put links in your post, don't use the word free. It can feel like the algorithm is a cranky boss you must appease, leading many to become algorithm minions. They try to follow every rule yet still face challenges. The concept of being an algorithm minion is driven by fear—people believe if they don't follow every rule, they'll be penalised. It's exhausting to keep up!Is there another way to engage with algorithms? Yes, and that's making the algorithm your bestie. When you view it this way, it changes your mindset and the way you interact on social media. As a bestie, you can be yourself and show up fully because the algorithm will love you for it. You don't need to stay on top of every new rule or trend. By knowing what makes the algorithm tick fundamentally, you can have a symbiotic relationship where you both benefit.Keep reading and get your gift at: tashcorbin.com/469Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
Full article and show notes available at tashcorbin.com/468Quick warning - I'm going to use a word that you don't all love, but there's no better word to describe today's podcast, because... it is so juicy. So so juicy. It's hot gossip and a bit of a contentious conversation, based on a listener question (they've even asked to remain anonymous because it's so juicy). So my apologies to everyone out there who doesn't like it when I use the word juicy because that's the only way I know how to describe this conversation today! We are talking about the trust bank that you build as an online business owner, and some of the strategies that put your audience's trust in you at risk. The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... but there will be something for YOU every single day.Today's gift is a super-special discount on one of my favourite self-study courses.Let's dive in!!!Origin story - Listener questionToday's episode comes from a listener question. They've asked to remain anonymous, as it will become clear once I dive into their questions. This was in response to a Facebook live I did last year about agitation and admiration marketing. I also included it in my regular newsletter in the CEO spot for a couple of weeks, where I talked about fear-based and admiration-agitation marketing strategies and why they weren't a consent-based practice. I explained the impact these strategies can have on your audience. If you missed all of that, I won't go into detail about what agitation and admiration marketing are and all the risks and benefits. There's another #Tashmas episode of the podcast coming out soon that dives specifically into admiration and agitation marketing in more depth, so keep an eye out for that. We need to excel at pitching, both in writing and speaking. Can I outsource it?It's easy to assume that hiring a copywriter is the answer to perfecting a pitch. While copywriters are amazing, they need a lot of information about your product, audience, and core message to craft a compelling pitch. Moreover, a copywriter can't follow you 24/7, doing every single pitch for you. You never know when you'll need to explain, or to whom.Continue reading and access show notes at: tashcorbin.com/467Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

JUICY!!!Let's dive in!!!Quarter 1 is almost over...?I know this time of year can feel like it's RACING AWAY - but there's great news for you today! Firstly, a lot of the reason why it feels that way has to do with the way we plan and organise ourselves. And secondly, in this episode, I'll share why business plans often fail for entrepreneurs and what we can do about it.Business plan failsThe first thing to remember about business planning is that a business plan is just a point-in-time document. It's not as effective or useful if it's not a living document that grows and changes. Many business plans are just lists of goals, so you don't know what to do today to achieve them. If the plan becomes outdated, it ends up on a shelf and is never looked at again. It quickly becomes irrelevant. Also, we often get excited about planning at certain times, but momentum fizzles fast.Continue reading at tashcorbin.com/466. Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
Full show notes and links available at: tashcorbin.com/465Let's face it: There is so much advice out there about how you should be pricing your products and services. It's creating a lot of what I call pricing dysmorphia. Everyone seems to have an opinion about what an appropriate price point is for your products and services. And it's based on a bunch of their assumptions. It's based on a bunch of random money rules (and in a lot of cases - money blocks). This can cause a disoriented feeling about what is an appropriate price. We look at our pricing, and see something that isn't there. It's too high, or it's too low. But that's not actually reality. I call that... Pricing Dymorphia. Instead, I want us to have the ability to price based on what works for us as individuals, what works for our audience, what works for our business model. Plus I have an epic gift to share for Day 4 of #Tashmas!Wait... The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... but there will be something for YOU every single day.Too high? Or too low?I will say that pricing dysmorphia can impact people by having their products overpriced as well as underpriced. Ultimately, we need to validate our pricing with evidence that it's appropriate for the level of sales we want, for the income we want, and for our niche's pricing sensitivity, while also feeling deeply aligned.Evidence-Based PricingI will say it outright: One person's opinion is not evidence.Continue reading at: tashcorbin.com/465Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

ALL FOR FREE. Grab it at tashcorbin.com/audienceWhat do I mean by "launching successfully"?Let's start with a quick definition. Launches are limited-time campaigns, where you release a product, course, membership, or package using time sensitive events to attract hot leads and make sales. You might be launching a new course, or it could be a relaunch, like how I launch the Take Off Program around three times each year.During a launch, I might run webinars to help people get closer to being ready to purchase the offer. Most launches last eight to ten weeks, though some can be as short as two weeks. For my own business, four to eight weeks is average. This short-term focus can catch you when planning your year, as you may go from an eight-week window launching one product to another, staying stuck in that short-term mindset of consistently launching... which can end up making them less successful. The forgotten launch keyTo deliver successful launches repeatedly, you need a key component that's often forgotten: long-term audience growth. For each launch to be successful, it needs to reach wider and bigger audiences, especially warm ones.Keep reading and grab relevant links at tashcorbin.com/464Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join the Take Off program for Leads at Speed in April!Doors close on 7th March - tashcorbin.com/takeoff

Being able to connect with new people through your existing network is a way to develop that connection and trust faster, by borrowing their trust. I've received a lot of different questions, but in essence, they're all asking the same question. The types of questions I have been asked are:"What do you think about the strategy of offering a bonus resource to people if they attend my webinar live?""Do you think it's a good idea if I do a prize draw for live attendees who come to my webinar to maximise the number of people who come?""What do you think about webinars with no replay so that people have to come and watch it live?"In essence, every single person is asking me how to maximise the attendance at their webinar.I thought I'd lump all those questions into one juicy, tangible episode of the podcast on how to maximise attendance at your webinars.Let's dive in and get your webinar attendee numbers skyrocketing......Show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/461Follow Tash on Facebook: facebook.com/tashcorbincoachingLet me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join the Take Off program for Leads at Speed in April!Doors close on 7th March - tashcorbin.com/takeoff

And it really hasn't changed much over the years! There's one strategy in particular that I still see people advising either it's the best way to do things or it's something you should never be doing in your business, and it seems to be the one where people are either all for it or completely against it...That is doing single sessions as a service-based business provider, as someone who works in a coaching or mentoring space. Either the advice is never to do single sessions, or you should always offer single sessions. In today's episode of the podcast, I want to break down the strategic role of single sessions and why it's never an all or nothing, why there's always a place where we can find a reason to be doing single sessions, and some times where you might decide not to offer them....Show notes in full are at: tashcorbin.com/459Follow Tash on Facebook: facebook.com/tashcorbincoachingLet me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Attract Hot Leads with Low-Ticket Offers - live workshop on 14th Feb!Register now at tashcorbin.com/lowticket

Full article and links available at: tashcorbin.com/442I'm sharing five ways to kickstart your business in the New Year today... AND It's Day 12 of Tashmas, our very LAST day!!!But oh my goodness is this a good one!!!I know that momentum early on is crucial, but also something a lot of us struggle with. Imagine having a super-strong start to the year, feeling like you're aligned and on-track to achieving your biz and life goals. That's what I want to help you with!!!Let's dive in!The energy of a fresh startI totally get that the New Year is just another day on the calendar and isn't really some magical phenomenon.But... you have to admit that there's something about starting fresh that gives us so much energy and motivation. Many people take time off around the holidays, and with all the messages of new beginnings around us, it's like we all get into this fresh motivation. The first of the first... it has quite a ring to it. And that energy makes a difference to me.In our Heart-Centred Business Planning system and program, I see the difference in people's energy at the start of the year compared to later. There's a BIG difference between the energy of our Quarter 1 planning, compared to our Quarter 4 planning. So, while we could dismiss the New Year hype, there's real power in using that burst of fresh energy strategically.Kickstart your business: 5 Practical StrategiesSo, how do you create momentum for your business at the start of the year? Importantly, these are for YOUR start to the year, not necessarily from 1 January. If you're not starting back until the kids are back at school, then map your plan accordingly (see Kickstart Strategy 1).Read on at: tashcorbin.com/442Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

If that sounds like you, then you're not alone, and in this episode, we are diving into this very issue.I've got a solution that's all about exploring different angles to promote your opt-in effectively. Buckle up because we are going to explore 10 fresh ways to get those sign-ups rolling!Let's do it!Freshen up to promote your opt-inIf you've gone to all the effort of creating an opt in, I want you to get the maximum number of people signed up for it as possible. But, how do you do it?!I'm willing to guess everyone has faced this challenge before, where you feel like you have shared promos for your freebie, promoted all you can, but it's just not getting traction. Often, the real reason it's not working is because you are just using the same kind of content over and over to promote it.Generally I see one of two things happen:1. There are four or five different promos that just get copy-pasted all over the internet (which start to get penalised for being duplicate content, and people tire of quickly)2. In order to keep changing things up, AI is used to generate promos, but they start to read like every other promo online. What I want to do with this episode is to help you inject some fresh life into your promotional strategy.Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
Full article and links available at tashcorbin.com/440Are you one of those people having sales calls where, by the end, the potential client seems interested but says they have other things to take care of first?I call this the sales call homework issue. You're giving them tasks or homework to do as a result of the sales call, and that's holding them back from deciding to invest in the offer you're pitching. If this sounds familiar, this episode is packed with nuggets to help you out. It's also day 10 of #Tashmas, and there's something special for you—maybe a discount on a course?!Let's dive in.What is the "Homework" Issue? When it comes to sales calls, homework issues can arise whether the calls are specifically to discuss a product or service, or they are a single session that then leads to a sales conversation towards the end. The homework issue is more common to crop up in free or paid sessions rather than short and sharp sales calls, but really all conversations can turn into free advice, and thus generate a homework issue if not handled effectively. And let's just be clear - if you're listening to this podcast, you're likely someone who's an over-giver, so of course this will happen. We're eager to help, share, and add value—it's just who we are. I know that for a lot of heart-centred entrepreneurs, sales conversations that are supposed to just be sales conversations turn into free sessions pretty easily because we are so keen to help people. The problem? Sometimes, we give too much advice. It's okay to give advice in sales conversations, but be mindful of creating "homework" that stalls the buying decision. So let's look at how to structure calls so that you're able to help, without creating the homework issue.Read more and grab the links at tashcorbin.com/440Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
Read the full article and grab links at tashcorbin.com/439Do people really only value offers they've paid for?In this episode of the podcast, we're diving into a hot topic that fires me up: Do people really only value offers they've paid for? This common advice can mislead your marketing and sales, so we're going to set things straight.Shall we do it?The impact of pricing on valueToday, I want to unpack this idea that people value offers more if they pay for them, and the secondary advice to charge for what you might usually offer for free, so that people will actually value and complete it.I'm sure you've encountered these assertions that high ticket clients are superior and people seeking freebies are just wasting time. Some experts suggest charging for webinars rather than offering them free. While those strategies might work, they're often presented with blanket statements that carry judgment and privilege. The misconception is that if people pay, or spend more, they value it more... and therefore are more likely to complete whatever they've purchased.Yes, there is psychological evidence that price influences the perceived value of a product, but it's not the full story.Challenging blanket marketing adviceIt's crucial to challenge these two common strategies: raising prices to increase people's perceived value, and charging for what could be free to attract "high-intent" customers. For instance, the idea that charging $25 for a webinar makes attendees more likely to act is flawed. Correlation doesn't equal causation—there's much more at play in customer behaviour.Privilege and judgement detox Now, let's address the issue of privilege and judgment in these pricing strategies. Charging for a 5-day challenge because it supposedly attracts more committed participants can be misguided. If the free challenge isn't converting, adding a price won't fix that. If people aren't finishing the challenge, again - charging for it won't fix the design issue with the challenge itself. The real issue might be it fails to move people closer to readiness to purchase or the sales pitch needs work. Overloading a challenge with information and too much homework might also keep people from achieving their goals, and being ready for what's next.Keep on reading and grab links at tashcorbin.com/439Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
Full article and show notes at tashcorbin.com/438Oooh it can be SO game-changing to go on retreat... but are you going on the right kind of retreat for your business needs? That's why I am going to unpack the three different types of business retreat for you! This episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast is quite special because I recorded it while on a solo retreat - and it's about retreats! So, let's dive in!The business retreat ... so good.Hosting and attending retreats have absolutely transformed my life and business. Since 2013, I've been to countless retreats, which have helped massively in up-leveling my strategy and planning. I've attended retreats for health, well-being, friendship, crafting, and all sorts of hobbies. Back when I was living in New Zealand, I made a ritual of going on a solo business retreat to Queenstown every 6-8 weeks. This ritual alone has contributed significantly to my business success. But here's the thing—retreats only rock when you choose the right kind! So I want to explore three distinct styles of business retreats and how to pick the one that fits your needs. But first.. I have one top tip before we dive into the three types of biz retreat: Don't forget the downtime! Even as business retreats, they should include opportunities for rest and nourishment. Get your hair done, go for a massage, take a morning and get brekkie, watch that movie.... REST. Swapping environments allows your brain to have the necessary downtime to think creatively, and it's great to go on retreat and make BIG moves, big decisions, get lots done... but it's also important to include the downtime of a retreat. Downtime is CEO time!!! Style 1: Mostly "Doing" RetreatsMostly "doing" retreats mean just that—getting it DONE! These are perfect if you have clarity on your strategy and need to get stuff done. I love doing these solo. However, I also co-host a retreat called #Finishfest with the fabulous Claire Riley. At Finishfest, we focus mainly on doing, not deciding. We have the same attendees every year, and they sign up well in advance! Claire also offers retreats in this category regularly in Australia and Bali. If you're headed for a mostly "doing" retreat, come ready with your strategy refined and plans clear. These events are incredible for when you need focused action time, away from the daily distractions like kids or chores.Just imagine being in a space where everything is taken care of and all you need to do is focus on creating and executing - that's what this type of retreat is perfect for.Read on and grab links at tashcorbin.com/438Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

You get a daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a present every day! It could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… something fun every single day.Let's dive in!Not everyone in the room is your ideal clientFirst things first: Whether you're speaking at an event or guesting on someone's podcast, not every person in the audience is your ideal client. It's easy to think that everyone should become a follower or buy something from you for the gig to be a success. But that's not the case. Focus on attracting the right people into your business out of that crowd. Identify what makes someone an ideal client for you and aim to bring the right people into your audience, rather than all of them. The more specific you are about what makes someone a good fit for your business, the more you can tailor your presentation to resonate with them.Your priority: Get them on your listYour main goal from any speaking engagement should be to get people onto your mailing list. It's the best way to build relationships, trust, and eventually, sales. Instead of trying to sell from the stage, focus on getting people interested enough to want to hear more from you. Give yourself a chance to welcome them into your audience and build a relationship before diving into a sales pitch. Not only will that convert more people into buyers over time, you maximise your connections from the event.Keep reading and grab the links at tashcorbin.com/437Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

His surprised expression was just priceless. Watching that, I thought, "Hey, that's me whenever I nail a podcast episode in one shot!"So, in a light-hearted moment, I decided to remix the reel with my own spin and share it on Instagram—totally not intending to share to Facebook.Thing is, Instagram auto-shares to my Facebook page, and I usually turn that setting off for Reels, but not this time. Oops! And boom, it unintentionally hit the Facebook feed.Finding the wrong side of the commentsHere's where things got messy...Read the full article and grab the shownotes at tashcorbin.com/436Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!

It could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… something fun every single day.Today, we are looking at how STATIONERY makes us MONEY... I mean... COME ON!Let's jump in!Embracing my Love for StationeryBefore I spill the stationery secret, let me share a story. I've talked about this before, and while some might tire of it, stationary lovers will surely enjoy it.I used to live near the beach, making it easy to bike to Officeworks, a big stationery store here in Australia.I had this electric tricycle with a basket for my purchases at the front and another at the back for Munchkin, my dog. We often stopped at Officeworks during our rides. I once told Davey I needed to buy some Post-its.He sassily remarked that I had just bought some a few weeks ago, and asked how many I really needed.BUT... Here's the thing: I used those Post-its during a retreat to map out a course and some key tasks, and those very actions being implemented, and that course being mapped out... well it all turned into a $75,000 launch! Eventually, those Post-its helped me make $200,000.Needless to say, from then on, every time we rode near Officeworks, Davey would ask if I needed more Post-its! This little system of mine is the stationery secret behind making millions.Creating a system to turn stationery into incomeIt's not just about buying loads of Post-it notes. It's about creating a method to manage yourself and your tasks. This stationery system keeps me focused on generating income and staying productive. Tasks I've mapped on Post-its over the past decade have brought in millions for my business.Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
Full article and links available at tashcorbin.com/433Do you sometimes wonder whether you left it too late to start your business? The good news is that you're not alone, and there are benefits of being late to this online business party. That's exactly what I'm addressing in this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, and it's Day 3 of #Tashmas so there's a special gift in it for you as well! But first: What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! You get a daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual... but you ALSO get a present every day! It could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... something fun every single day.Today, let's map out some of the BENEFITS of being late to start your online business...Let's dive in!Is it too late? You might think starting an online business now is daunting with all the competition and market saturation. Especially now that we're in an economic contraction, it seems to be easier for more established businesses to adjust their strategy and survive, because they have an existing audience. But being late to the party isn't always a bad thing. In fact, there are some really juicy benefits - I have four in particular to share. You're not alone!I remember when I started this podcast all the way back in 2015, I thought I had missed the boat completely when it came to podcasting. I was sure that the entire podcast market was completely saturated, and there was no space left in the market. That's particularly hilarious because three of the podcasts I listen to consistently are in the Top 10 in Australia, and didn't start until 2019 or later. I had already been running my podcast for 4 years when they started.Does audience size matter? One of the things people get very concerned about is the size of their audience - especially on long-established platforms. If you haven't made it on Facebook by now, you never will... right? WRONG! New pages emerge and generate huge followings quickly, even to this day. But the days of needing a big following, or measuring your success by audience size are over anyway. Anyone can buy followers. That doesn't actually mean you're successfully running a business on that platform.Using Facebook as the example, Facebook ads have become really cheap compared to what they were 2 to 3 years ago. I'm seeing a big drop in the cost of Facebook ads because there's more competition for the advertising dollar from other platforms now, But there are business owners who saw that ads were getting more expensive a few years ago, and decided to abandon them altogether. Similarly, now that Instagram Reels don't get the same reach as carousels and feed posts, people assume they've missed the opportunity to grow an audience. Same with TikTok.Keep reading and grab the links at tashcorbin.com/433Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
Full article and links available at tashcorbin.com/432Has something horrible happened that really derailed your momentum? I've got an entire episode about what to do when something horrible happens in business. And it's Day 2 of the #Tashmas series, which means I have a gift for you!But first: What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! You get a daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual... but you ALSO get a present every day! It could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition... something fun every single day.Today, let's explore what to do when something horrible happens in your business. It sounds intense, but don't stress; I've got your back with some down-to-earth strategies and resources you'll love.Ready? Let's do it!Worrying about something horrible happeningIf you've only been in business for a short amount of time, you may have some fears about what might go wrong as a business owner. Regardless of how long you've been in business, I think we all still have some fears about some of the bad things that might happen to us as business owners. Some of those things may have already happened in the past, so we're afraid of them happening again. But in a lot of cases, those things haven't happened to us yet, so we can catastrophise what might happen, and how it might feel.I therefore have put together five things that you can do when something horrible happens in your business.1. Get some perspectiveI think when we are deep in our business and when our business is our livelihood, it's also wrapped up in our identity. We can lose perspective about what's important and what is happening. So I think it's really powerful to just gain some perspective about what this means in the grand scheme of things.Let's say you make a mistake with a client. Whether that means you have to redo some of the work you did for them, they ask for a discount, or a refund, or they don't want to work with you anymore... In 10 years' time, when you look back at this mistake, will you still have anxiety about it? In most cases, the answer would be no. In most cases, you will be grateful for what you can learn from making that mistake. You can learn how to not make it in the future, and you'll move on. Things that feel like they're big and hard and life-altering and horrendous now, will just be like water off a duck's back in five years' time. What feels really hard today won't feel so hard three months from now....read the rest and grab the links at tashcorbin.com/432Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
