Dans ce nouvel épisode du podcast On The Way, Jessica Mercuriali, co-fondatrice de Pawa Energy, revient sur son parcours et partage sa vision d'une énergie événementielle plus propre.  Saviez-vous qu'aujourd'hui en France, plus de 90 % des événements temporaires fonctionnent encore grâce à des groupes électrogènes thermiques ?Après quinze ans dans le marketing et le business, dont dix chez Microsoft entre la France et Seattle, Jessica décide fin 2023 de tout quitter. En 2024, elle fonde Pawa Energy avec son frère, ancien chef opérateur.  Leur idée est de proposer une alternative en location : des batteries éco-responsables, zéro émission, zéro bruit, zéro odeur. Une solution pensée pour remplacer les groupes électrogènes classiques sur les événements éphémères.  Le produit phare, la Pawa Battery, délivre 36 kW de puissance et 100 kWh d'énergie dans un format compact sur palette. Et surtout avec un impact carbone jusqu'à 80 fois inférieur à celui d'un groupe électrogène équivalent.  La batterie repose sur une technologie LFP (lithium, fer, phosphate), sans nickel ni cobalt, fabriquée en France avec deux partenaires industriels : Olenergie à Bagnolet et Mute Energy à Tourcoing. Ce dernier donne même une seconde vie à des batteries de véhicules électriques pour concevoir la Pawa Mini, un format plus compact.  Dans cet épisode, Jessica revient sur les premiers clients venus de l'événementiel, sportif (semi-marathon de Boulogne, festivals, food trucks), les freins culturels rencontrés sur le terrain, et l'absence de « green premium ». En effet, aujourd'hui, passer à une alternative plus propre ne coûte pas plus cher qu'un groupe électrogène classique. Et ça, ça change tout.

El feedback del podcast vuelve a ser el protagonista en este episodio porque como ocurre al final de cada mes, me gusta parar un momento y echar la vista atrás para repasar todos los comentarios, mensajes y audios que me habéis ido dejando a lo largo de las últimas semanas. Arranco el episodio reconociendo un pequeño fallo que cometí justo en el capítulo anterior. Nicolás Carbone, desde Fivecast, me avisó rápidamente de que había dicho una fecha incorrecta. En lugar del 29 de abril mencioné el día 28, porque se me cruzó la fecha de grabación con la de publicación. Y lejos de molestarme, este tipo de comentarios me encantan, porque demuestran que hay alguien al otro lado del micrófono escuchando con atención y dispuesto a echar una mano cuando hace falta. A partir de ahí comienzo a repasar varios de los mensajes que han ido llegando durante el mes. Vicente Ortiz recordaba en un comentario que en el episodio de principios de abril se notaba claramente que estaba tocado por un buen resfriado, algo que también señaló Kitsune cuando pensaba que yo estaba de vacaciones de Semana Santa cuando en realidad estaba pasando un trancazo considerable. También hubo momentos muy especiales durante el mes. Por ejemplo cuando Aranzazu, la profesora que imparte el curso de ficción sonora del que hablé en uno de los episodios, compartió mi capítulo en redes sociales y dedicó unas palabras muy bonitas hacia mi trabajo. Aproveché ese momento para agradecer también a Fivecast, Galiana y David Bernad que compartan los episodios prácticamente a diario en redes. Otro de los momentos que más ilusión me hizo fue cuando Rodrigo Álvarez, creador del podcast Neurona Financiera, reaccionó al episodio que dediqué a su programa. Lo hizo por partida doble: compartiendo un storie en Instagram ante decenas de miles de seguidores y dejando además un comentario en Spotify. Incluso me envió un audio a través de SpeakPipe, lo que convirtió ese momento en algo bastante especial. Durante el episodio también recupero comentarios de diferentes capítulos publicados a lo largo del mes. Desde reacciones al episodio del Glosario Podcastero sobre el loop en podcasting, hasta reflexiones sobre el papel de los algoritmos en los podcast polémicos que circulan por redes sociales. No faltaron tampoco las dudas técnicas, como la consulta sobre el plugin OP3 para WordPress o la conversación sobre monitorización de audio durante la grabación de un podcast. Incluso recibí un correo bastante curioso de un profesor de Cuenca que estaba intentando presentar un podcast escolar al concurso de RNE y tenía problemas con la plataforma de inscripción. Además de comentarios escritos, este mes llegaron varios audio comentarios, algunos desde España y otros incluso desde el otro lado del Atlántico, lo que demuestra hasta qué punto este pequeño metapodcast diario consigue romper la barrera del espacio y del tiempo. Cierro el episodio dando las gracias a todas las personas que han dejado algún comentario durante abril y recordando que cualquiera puede enviar un audio a través de SpeakPipe desde la web del podcast. Dans cet épisode de "Comment j'ai réussi ?", Stéphane Pedrazzi reçoit Stanislas Pottier, le président de l'association BBCA pour bâtiments bas carbone. Créée en 2015 au moment de la COP21, cette association a pour mission d'encourager la construction de bâtiments plus respectueux de l'environnement.L'invité nous explique comment l'association a réussi, en l'espace de 10 ans, à rassembler près de 170 membres parmi les acteurs majeurs du secteur. Grâce à un système de labellisation innovant, BBCA a permis de mesurer l'empreinte carbone des bâtiments et de montrer comment la réduire, que ce soit pour la construction neuve ou la rénovation.Il nous dévoile les techniques de construction bas carbone, comme l'utilisation de matériaux à faible impact environnemental, le recours à la préfabrication ou encore l'intégration de la décarbonation dès la conception du bâtiment. Bien que ces nouvelles méthodes puissent être plus coûteuses au départ, Stanislas Pottier souligne qu'elles permettent de construire plus rapidement et de générer une valeur ajoutée sur le long terme, notamment grâce à une meilleure location et valorisation des biens.Malgré les craintes d'un "backlash" suite au retour de Donald Trump à la Maison Blanche, le président de l'association BBCA se montre optimiste. Il explique que la prise en compte du carbone s'est imposée comme une priorité absolue, aussi bien pour les investisseurs que pour les utilisateurs de bâtiments. En Europe, les réglementations évoluent dans ce sens, tandis qu'en Asie, région la plus touchée par les effets du changement climatique, l'engagement est encore plus fort.Enfin, il commente la décision du gouvernement français de laisser plus de temps aux propriétaires de "passoires thermiques" pour engager des travaux de rénovation. Une exoplanète pauvre en eau peut être inhospitalière, qu'elle se trouve ou non dans la zone dite habitable. La Terre, la seule planète habitable connue, dépend de son cycle du carbone pour maintenir son habitabilité. Or, ce cycle dépend de l'eau, et les exoplanètes qui en sont dépourvues ont peu de chances de le maintenir, ce qui compromet sérieusement leurs perspectives d'habitabilité à long terme. Une nouvelle étude publiée dans The Planetary Science Journal examine la teneur en eau nécessaire à l'habitabilité des exoplanètes, en prenant Vénus pour exemple éloquent. After working front-of-the-house roles at fine dining restaurants in New York City like Carbone, Baboo, and the Grill, Adam Reiner has seen all sorts of dining behavior. He'd like to help improve the dining experience for both diners and restaurants. His book "The New Rules of Dining Out" explores how diners can be active participants in the dining experience and start to see themselves as partners, not just patrons. It is both an obvious idea and a radical one. Of course, diners play a role in their dining experience, but many modern hospitality guides, like those from Will Guidara and Danny Meyer, put so much of the responsibility on the restaurant. Through his book and his conversation with guest host Gloria Dawson, Reiner argues that diners need a better understanding of how restaurants work and should stop having unrealistic expectations for a meal out. Books like “Unreasonable Hospitality” and “Setting the Table” spread “this idea that restaurants should be these life-changing experiences,” Reiner said. “Restaurants shouldn't be life-changing experiences; they should be life-affirming experiences. If we've gotten to the point where life-affirming isn't enough, then that's to me where there's a problem.”

In today's episode, we spoke with David Carbone, MD, PhD. Dr Carbone is a professor of internal medicine at The Ohio State University, co-leader of the Translational Therapeutics Program and director of the Thoracic Oncology Center at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center–James, as well as the Barbara J. Bonner Chair in Lung Cancer Research in Columbus.In our exclusive interview, Dr Carbone discussed the 6-year data from the phase 3 CheckMate 9LA trial (NCT03215706), which not only reaffirmed the durability of benefit with nivolumab (Opdivo) plus ipilimumab (Yervoy) and chemotherapy but also highlighted particularly strong outcomes in historically poor-prognosis subgroups, including patients with PD-L1–negative tumors and those with squamous histology. Carbone also underscored the safety and tolerability of the regimen. Although dual immunotherapy carries higher toxicity than monotherapy, no new safety signals emerged at 6 years. Carbone also addressed the limitations of current biomarkers. Although PD-L1 remains the primary tool guiding immunotherapy decisions, it is an imperfect predictor.
