Fretz reviews AEW Revolution and for the most part, it was a great show. It just kind of fizzled out at the end. After setting off the Canada Day sparklers, Fretz plugs in his PS1 memory card into the year 2001. It's March 11, 2001 and Raw is emanating from Los Angeles (in Stone Cold Podcast voice). The road to Wrestlemania X7 is getting clearer, tension is building between The Rock and Stone Cold and Vince McMahon promises to have a Hollywood sex scene in the ring, while Edge takes a mental note. Elsewhere, The Hardy Boyz defend the tag titles against X-Factor, Chris Benoit takes out the Radicalz and we enter the first week of the Regal Regime as William Regal is named Commissioner of the WWE. Hello everyone!! The 55th episode comes straight to you, with a little twist!! We are JOINED through the whole show, by Clyde, and at the end, Sugartits, from the Old Still Radio Show!! We spend the WHOLE episode with Clyde talking about everything that makes us laugh! We both enjoy each others show, and so this is a PERFECT time for a crossover episode!! Clyde picks a few topics, and we let the hilarity ensue! Our pick for this recording's #popcultureclassic is the 1987, Cheech Marin movie, Born in East LA. With everything that is going on in the world, we figured this would be the BEST time to introduce this movie to our #popcultureclassic segment. At a time when Cheech and Chong were not getting along, the world got this hilarious gem. It's all about a hispanic, American citizen, who accidentally gets deported, and tries to find his way back to the USA!! What a great movie, with great memories! Also, the first of 2 amazing interviews comes from the 3 and Twenty band! They are a "hybrid country" band that I originally discovered on the Stone Cold Podcast! You'll find their music all throughout this episode. But, they tell us all about how they first started, and the VERY different sound that was coming from them, at the beginning. It's a band that will take you back to the old country days, with a little mix of rap. They tell us about their influences, and what their plans are, for moving forward. I've been listening to their stuff ever since I heard it! Our 2nd interview comes from the toughest guy we've had on the show so far!! We bring you the President of the board, for the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, "Cowboy" Johnny Mantell! It was an absolute pleasure to interview "Cowboy" Johnny Mantell. If you didn't know, we are HUGE, wrestling fans!! But, Johnny wasn't here to talk to us to much about himself, but more about the awesome, brick & mortar hall of fame, that he runs. The Professional Hall of Fame is located in Wichita Falls, Texas, and has some of the biggest/best names in wrestling, as members. We learn all about how it landed in Texas, and some of the items that are within its walls! What an awesome building, and we cannot wait to visit at some point!! It might literally be the biggest pieces of wrestling history, located all in one spot! Remember, you can ALWAYS let us know what you think! We can only think of so many things to talk about every other week, and would LOVE to get some feedback and ideas from all of you out there who are listening!! You can send mp3s and email to our email address. Also, join the conversations on our Facebook Page and Twitter Page. Also, if you have good feedback, please leave it for us on iTunes and Stitcher!! That's one way to help us climb the ranks into podcast glory!! You can ALSO leave us voicemail!!! Call 970-573-6148 and leave us a hilarious message!!! They cracked open a couple of cold Broken Skull IPAs at the Fairmont in Dallas, Texas, and shot the shit on Wrestlemania 32, all the injuries plaguing the WWE & why that's NOT a problem come Sunday, John Cena, the NXT Movement, three hours of RAW, why there are no true heels in the business anymore, Big Show's trouble with suits & ties, the "Shine, Heat, Comeback, Finish" psychology, Donald Trump, iPhones, and a little Jack Daniels history.
The Freebirds are going into the WWE Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania weekend, and no one has better Freebirds stories than Diamond Dallas Page! He's sharing some of his favorites with Steve. Plus, Ted Fowler returns with drunken tales from a Mexican jail, what it means to "throw some leg," the best way to combat chiggers, and his love-hate (but mostly love) relationship with golf.
Steve Austin & Ted Fowler poured a couple of jack & cokes & hit the record button on the ZoomH4N down at the Broken Skull Ranch, and this is what resulted - the merits of wearing helmets on motorcycles and hard hats at job sites; the status of Al E. Gator at Tombstone Lake; why it's bad to submerge your iPhone in lake water; Fabio; the only reason you'd ever need to order custom Chuck Taylors; Teddy's new nickname (#LILT); and a breakdown of Holly Holm's surprising loss to Miesha Tate and what it means for Ronda Rousey.
Two-time NBA All-Star and current LA Lakers center, Roy Hibbert, loves the WWE, MMA, and reality TV shows! He's a graduate of Georgetown University, a newly-minted LA local, and says he's not good at "trash talkin'" on the court! But he's calling out those who are! And he's giving an inside look at life in the NBA - from the specially-outfitted planes for the players to how he spends his NBA salary to working out with the great Tim Duncan to being star-struck by Lebron James! Roy's sharing workout and nutrition tips, and explaining why naps on game days are important! You'll also hear the story behind his $75k fine, his visit with a sports psychologist, and how he deals with the camera crews following the Lakers 24/7 for Kobe Bryant's final season!
Paul Lazenby is Steve Austin's movie stunt double, and returns to the podcast to explain why he shaved off his goatee! Okay, that's not the only reason! Paul's got a new book out, "When We Were Bouncers: Famous Actors, Athletes, and others Tell Insane Stories Of Their Days Behind The Velvet Rope." Everyone from Diamond Dallas Page to Samoa Joe to Bas Rutten to Renzo Gracie sat down with Paul & shared some wild stories from their days as club bouncers. You'll hear about the crazy fights, Paul's "Mad Dog Look," hyper-vigilance, how to protect yourself from a head-butt, and the 3 qualities needed to be a bouncer. Paul and Steve also tell some movie set stories, and offer up a sneak peek at who may be starring in "Titanic 2." It's not Leonardo DiCaprio, and it's called method acting, people!
"30 Minutes of pure solid gold." That's what Steve Austin and MLW Radio's Court Bauer think about the opening of this week's Monday Night RAW, and they're gonna put their money where their mouths are, and back up that incredible claim! It's a play-by-play breakdown of Brock Lesnar's nasty attack on Dean Ambrose that ended up with Ambrose in an ambulance. It's a deep dive analysis of the surprise return of Shane-O Mac and the less-than-amicable reunion with his CEO father, and superstar sister, and what Shane-O's WM match with The Undertaker could mean for the future of WWE. It's a detailed dissection of the great promos cut by the one & only Paul Heyman, and what makes it so potentially devastating for Dean Ambrose. It's some serious armchair booking for Wrestlemania 32 in Texas. And it's 80-minutes of pure podcast gold from the award-winning podcast that ain't never won no award.

Sorry that we are out a day later than usual. Gary had some technical issues with his computer that forced us to start the sports podcast really late. By the time we finished, Paul fell asleep waiting on us and we decided to do the show for Saturday morning instead. This week we headline with a special topic asking if TV shows highlighted by major or minor title defenses still create a buzz. Do Championship shows still draw ratings? We examine some recent championship shows and see if they did all that well and look back at history to see why they might have fallen off. However, we begin with Quick Hits (9:00-57:15) where we talk about the content on the Owen Hart DVD, if the WWE really are considering bringing back the Hardy Boyz, the huge main event announced for NXT Takeover in October, Amanda being a regular on Total Divas, TNA bringing back a big name former talent and more. Then we go through our review of WWE RAW (58:15-93:00) by storyline and then we discuss what happened on the Stone Cold Podcast with EDGE & Christian (93:30-100:00) and we talk this week's NXT (100:30-117:30) as well. We stop to have our conversation about Championship shows (117:45-135:00) and that also leads us right into ROH TV (135:00-141:00) because they had a pretty big TV show this week, which featured two title matches. After that, we do the TNA Impact (141:00-161) review as well. Finally, we finish it off with our W2M Power Rankings (161:30-End) and our W2M Match of the Month and Wrestler of the Month for August 2015.We also announce the return of an old segment that will be coming to you at random, twice a month, starting in October. Just in case you didn't know, we now have a W2M Network Facebook Page. It would really help a lot if you like the page and get your friends to do so as well. It's really there so that you can keep up with everything going on with the podcast.

WWE Raw may not have been anything special on Monday night, but there isn't a shortage of topics to talk about on this week's explosive WrestleRant Radio! Before breaking down the flagship show's "season premiere," hosts Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau give their thoughts on the latest Stone Cold Podcast with Edge and Christian and where it ranks among past podcasts with Austin and Chris Jericho. From there, they delve into and Monday Night Rollins (that's no typo) and discuss Sting stealing Seth's statue, Paige potentially turning heel, how Edge and Christian's quick cameo stole the show, the awesomeness of The New Day, Lana's injury being a blessing in disguise, Los Matadores getting repackaged (hopefully), pitching a Baron Corbin debut, and why Charlotte must turn heel. Plus, what the hell was up with that random fan appearance at the end of the show?! GSM and RJ analyze it all!
