TB....a long time killer with no cure. TB hospitals were popping up everywhere including North Dakota. Even as TB was treated there so was the developmental disabled. With overcrowding and no cure the treatment of patients and experiments were becoming very questionable. With its history has come a lot of haunting and curses. I'm fascinated by Asylums, most are great and help their patients but so many fall to overcrowding and no funding which result in terrible conditions, care, violence and multiple deaths. Here is another one of those in Exeter, Rhode Island. The Ladd school had many names but always seemed destined to fail. It was first known as The Exeter School for the Feeble Minded to help rehabilitate "inmates" to return to society. That never happened and "inmates" were forced to live in filthy conditions and there was 1 doctor and no other staff had proper medical training. So many souls are trapped here and they believe they will never leave. The buildings have been torn down but the activity and spirits remain. We head to Alaska to visit the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) where multiple conspiracies have come out. They include the government being able to control the weather, control the food shortages, mind control and much more. First the Program explains that it's researching the ionosphere (upper atmosphere) to look at UV light, magnetization and radio waves but then a claim comes out that they are trying to find a way to neutralized atomic bombs. At the height of the Tuberculosis epidemic there was a need for large hospitals to care for the sick and dying. Waverly Hills housed hundreds of patient's while nearly 6,000 of them died there. But not just from the disease but also from suicide, suspected murder and unhumain sugeries to attempt to "help" the patients get better. After death they go down the "body chute" to a waiting hearse to take it away. After an antibiotic was found for TB the hospital was many things but eventually was abandoned and succumb to nature.
