This section is about justification by faith in the life of Abraham, the father of the faith, and this was important because the Jews at the time had a hard time relating justification by faith to themselves. For us today, the message is clear: We need to come to the end of ourselves and realise that it's only through God's grace that we can be saved and go to heaven. We are justified by faith and the object of our faith is in Jesus Christ, the one who died for us and rose again.
