Torah Portion "'וזאת הברכה/V'zot HaBracha" which means "This is the Blessing" delivered on October 17, 2022.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 33:1-34:12 and begins, “And this is the blessing with which Mosheh the man of Elohim blessed the children of Yisra'ĕl before his death."This portion dealing with Sukkot has some amazing truths to be seen. First of all, we see Mosheh who is told by Hashem to hew for himself two tablets of stone. The question is "why?" Why did Mosheh have to do the work? The answer is found in the Hebrew language and is giving us a message in how we as the people of Hashem need to repent, and do the works of repentance, and return back to Him after we have been defiled by a "Golden Calf," so to speak. Ro'eh Richard dives deep into this portion to show some amazing truths that we need to be applying in our lives each day. We are to circumcise our hearts, improve our ways, purify our hearts, and so on. There is work to be done people of Israel, so lets hew the tablets of stone in our hearts! Please join us each week as we share the gems of Torah.Pastor Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefotw.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.

Rosh Hashana which means "Head of the Year" & Yom Teruah which means "Day of Trumpets" delivered on September 26, 2022.Shana Tova Mishpacha! (Good Year, Family)Our teaching this week is not a regular Torah portion, but a special teaching in celebration of the first of the fall feasts, Rosh Hashana (Head of the Year) which is marked by blowing of shofars and trumpets, thus the additional name of Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets). Our reading is Genesis 22:1-14, and begins, "After these things, God tested Avraham. He said to him, 'Avraham!' and he answered, 'Here I am.' He said, 'Take your son, your only son, whom you love, Yitz'chak; and go to the land of Moriyah. There you are to offer him as a burnt offering on a mountain that I will point out to you.'”Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.
Torah Portion "'נִצָּבִים/Netzavim" which means "You Are Standing" delivered on September 24, 2022.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 29:9 (10)-30:20 and begins, “Today you are standing, all of you, before Adonai your God — your heads, your tribes, your leaders and your officers — all the men of Isra'el, along with your little ones, your wives and your foreigners here with you in your camp, from the one who chops your wood to the one who draws your water."In our portion today, Ro'eh focuses on the opening verses 29:9-14, and he shows us the gematria value points us to the threshold and door post, which is where we are to find strength for the point to the mezzuzah (door post) which contains the Shema, which is the reminder of the covenant we have joined. Ro'eh also discusses how the people of Israel in their “standing” do so in a powerful stance with dignity and pride. Using commentary from Me'am Lo'ez, we are shown a metaphor of gentiles and Jews being like beeswax and gold. From afar it is hard to tell the difference, but when heat is applied (tribulations) the beeswax melts but the gold glistens - Hashem's retribution is likened to fire that refines! Ro'eh also shares a parable of a dying father who brings his sons to his deathbed where he gathers a bundle of reeds and asks his sons to break it. When they are unable, he then shows them it can be done one reed at a time, teaching that strength is found to be greatest when they are united, but they are weakened and can be broken when they are divided and alone. The Mussar lesson this week is Anavah - humility. Ro'eh teaches a very different understanding of this characteristic having to do with true humility - is it not debasing ourselves as we may have once been taught, but that we were born to make manifest the Glory of God by using to their full potential the gifts he gave us.Our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark Honberger out of Isaiah 61:10-63:9.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.
Torah Portion "'כי־תבוא/Ki Tavo" which means "When You Enter" delivered on September 17, 2022.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 26:1-29:9 and begins, "When you have come to the land Adonai your God is giving you as your inheritance, taken possession of it and settled there; you are to take the firstfruits of all the crops the ground yields, which you will harvest from your land that Adonai your God is giving you, put them in a basket and go to the place where Adonai your God will choose to have his name live."Ki Tavo gives us a reminder of why we enter the land, as well as how we enter. As taught by the Jewish sages, God provides the cure before he inflicts the wound. There was a renewal of the acceptance of the covenant in this portion and Ro'eh also shows us, from Jewish understanding, who and what the messiah of Israel is and his function. Not only will we see from Jewish eyes who the messiah is, but also see some of who he isn't. Seeing Moshe as a messiah, Samuel as a messiah and so on. Take a listen to today's teaching and learn more from Jewish eyes the function and office of Messiah. Our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark Honberger out of Isaiah 60:1-22.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.
Torah Portion "'כי־תצא/Ki Tetse" which means "When You Go Out" delivered on September 10, 2022.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 21:10-25:19 and begins, "When you go out to war against your enemies, and Adonai your God hands them over to you, and you take prisoners..."This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark out of Isaiah 54:1-10, and the New Covenant teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from 1 Timothy 5:17-18.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.
Torah Portion "'שפטים/Shoftim" which means "Judges/Right Rulers" delivered on September 3, 2022.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 16:18-21:9 and begins, "You are to appoint judges and officers for all your gates [in the cities] Adonai your God is giving you, tribe by tribe; and they are to judge the people with righteous judgment."This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard out of Isaiah 51:12-52:12, and the New Covenant teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from Acts 7:35-60.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.
Torah Portion "ראה/Re'eh" which means "Behold/Look/See" delivered on August 27, 2022.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 11:26-16:18, and begins, "See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse — the blessing, if you listen to the mitzvot of Adonai your God that I am giving you today; and the curse, if you don't listen to the mitzvot of Adonai your God, but turn aside from the way I am ordering you today and follow other gods that you have not known.”In our parasha this week, we are given the warning of the false prophet that could rise from among the people. We read in Deuteronomy 13:1, “If a prophet or dreamer of dreams arises…” This word “arises” has the root “qum” in Hebrew, which connotates the idea of “resurrection.” Ro'eh Richard shows through the millui gematria that this prophet is one who is counterfeit, pointing us to Exodus 7:11 which has the magicians of Egypt imitating “signs and wonders” alluding to miracles of healing, and Ro'eh shows us that this healer will perform these “miracles” of healing, but that he will be counterfeit and wearing a mask. We see at the incident of the golden calf that the people attempted to replace Moshe with another, a counterfeit, which they called “god.” Moshe was their leader, their deliverer and savior, and now they have attempted to replace him with another who performs false signs and wonders. In the Council of Nicaea, Constantine changes the Hebrew Yeshua into the Roman Jesus, and we are told to REMEMBER the words of Hashem in Deuteronomy to recognize this counterfeit Messiah. Ro'eh shows us the WHY – for Hashem allows this false prophet as a testing to know if you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark out of Isaiah 54:11-55:5, and the New Covenant teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from 1 Corinthians 5:9-13.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgThe video of this teaching can be viewed at:https://youtu.be/DlPTHeuyozQAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.

Torah Portion "ואתחנן/Vaetchanan" which means "And I Sought Favor," delivered on August 13, 2022.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 3:23-7:11 and begins, "Then I pleaded with Adonai, ‘Adonai Elohim, you have begun to reveal your greatness to your servant, and your strong hand — for what other god is there in heaven or on earth that can do the works and mighty deeds that you do?'"This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark from Isaiah 40:1-26, and the New Covenant teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from 1 Timothy 2:4-6.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.
Torah Portion "דברים/Devarim" which means "Words," delivered on August 6, 2022.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 1:1-3:22, and begins, "These are the words Moshe spoke to all Isra'el on the far side of the Yarden River, in the desert, in the ‘Aravah, across from Suf, between Pa'ran and Tofel, Lavan, Hatzerot and Di-Zahav. It is eleven days' journey from Horev to Kadesh-Barnea by way of Mount Se‘ir."The people of Israel are on the cusp of entering the promise given to Abraham over 400 years earlier and yet they need a pep talk from Moses. What are the three “eichas” that Ro'eh covers in this lesson? “Eicha” = alas, how, and with the same letters but pronounced differently, where. Why is complacency a snare? How can we overcome it? What happens if we don't? What caused the people of Israel to be a “burden” to Moses? Are we a similar burden to Our Father? Are we satisfied with thestatus quo (dayenu) and therefore lack the zeal to enter into the promises of Hashem? How can we balance contentment and patience with strength, zeal and wisdom? This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from Isaiah 1:1-27, and the New Covenant teaching is delivered by Brother Mark from John 15:1-11.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.

He said, 'Here is what Adonai has ordered: when a man makes a vow to Adonai or formally obligates himself by swearing an oath, he is not to break his word but is to do everything he said he would do.'"This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark from Jeremiah 1:1-2:3, and the New Covenant e-drash is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from James 4:1-12. Torah Portion "פינחס/Pinchas" which means "Mouth of Brass" delivered on July 23, 2022.This week's portion covers Numbers/Bemidbar 25:10-30:1 and begins, "Adonai said to Moshe, 'Pinchas the son of El‘azar, the son of Aharon the cohen, has deflected my anger from the people of Isra'el by being as zealous as I am, so that I didn't destroy them in my own zeal.'"This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from 1 Kings 18:46-19:21 and the New Testament e-drash is delivered by Brother Mark from John 2:12-22.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.
Torah Portion "בלק/Balak" which means "Destroyer" delivered on July 16, 2022.This week's portion covers Numbers/Bemidbar 22:2-25:9 and begins, "Now Balak the son of Tzippor saw all that Isra'el had done to the Emori. Mo'av was very afraid of the people, because there were so many of them; Mo'av was overcome with dread because of the people of Isra'el."Our Torah portion this week contains the “Ma Tovu,” liturgy which we sing every Shabbat and at other special gatherings especially when we enter the synagogue. Learn how this now famous blessing was originally ten curses uttered by the false prophet B'laam and which were meant to destroy the people of Israel. Hashem turned them all around, but we are truly only experiencing one blessing as a people. How is this incident related to the previous event of the Golden Calf? Learn about the words “Shochen” (neighbor) and “Chen” (friend) and how B'laam managed to weaken the People of Israel. This week's mussar trait is ANGER (כעס) “ka'as” and Ro'eh shows us why this character trait is so important to control. This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark from Micah 5:6-6:8. Torah Portion "חקת/Chukat" which means "Statute" delivered on July 9, 2022.This week's portion covers Numbers/Bemidbar 19:1-22:1 and begins, "1 Adonai said to Moshe and Aharon, 2 'This is the regulation from the Torah which Adonai has commanded. Tell the people of Isra'el to bring you a young red female cow without fault or defect and which has never borne a yoke.'"According to the sages, todays portion is one of the more difficult portions to understand because of the nature of the Red Heifer. Being a decree given to cleanse impurity, how is it that this sacrifice can as well bring impurity? Ro'eh Richard brings a clearer understanding in how this unique sacrifice differs from all others and spans generations. In fact, a total of 9 Red Heifer sacrifices have been made and yet still a 10th to come by Messiah, spanning many generations between each heifer. There is also yet another unique tie of the Red Heifer sacrifice to the incident of the golden calf in how there was needed an atoning for the wicked actions of idolatry. This portion of the Red Heifer is juxtaposed to Miriam's death as well as to Aaron's death in which we learn that the death of a righteous person atones for sin. Interesting. Take a listen to what Ro'eh Richard teaches as he brings a fuller understanding from classical Judaism and the connection of the Red Heifer to the Suffering servant, the Messiah, and the role he plays in our atonement. This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from Judges 11:1-33, and the New Covenant E-drash is delivered by Brother Mark from John 3:19-21.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.
Torah Portion "קרח/Korah" which means "Bald," delivered on July 2, 2022.This week's portion covers Numbers/Bemidbar 16:1-18:32 and begins, "And Qorah, son of Yitshar, son of Qehath, son of Lĕwi, took both Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliyab, and On, son of Peleth, sons of Re'ubĕn,"What is it we learn from this section of scripture? Korah meaning BALD, no covering or under NO authority. This spirit is the same Luciferian spirit we've seen since the fall of the angels. It is insurrection and rebellion. The Millui Gematria value is 1,140 which correlates with scripture “If you act in the spirit of Korah you will corrupt yourself”. This transgression is weighty enough to get you kicked OUT of heaven and out of the camp of Israel. In this type of rebellion we see several steps. The first step is separation from the congregation - no trying to reason together - as the attitude is “my way or I leave.” It starts with lack of contentment. Korah was NOT content with his position and that the status of the firstborn was removed from his line, so he was in rebellion. The second step is to seek out like minded people who are also discontent. Third is to make accusations against the leadership while exalting yourself. Pastor also goes on to compare this with the teachings of the book of ACTS in which disciples follow the opposite steps and why it is so important that we don't listen to those who are upset with leadership and that we separate from that evil. Ro'eh also teaches that the Mussar trait this week is on Zeal, Alacrity and being agile and flexible. This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark from 1 Samuel 11:14-12:22, and the New Covenant E-drash is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from Jude 1:1-25.Please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about who our God is, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Pastor Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.orgAaronic Priestly Blessing performed by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries https://wisdomintorah.com and used by permission.

Torah Portion "בהעלתך/Beha'alotecha" which means "When you Kindle," delivered on June 18, 2022. This week's portion covers Numbers/Bemidbar 8:1-12:16 and begins, "And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, 'Speak to Aharon, and say to him, "When you ascend to trim the lamps, let the seven lamps give light in front of the lampstand." ' "In his teaching today, Ro'eh covered a lot of material that was gleaned from just the verses found in Numbers 10:28-30. He revealed similarities between the stories of Yitro (Jethro, Moses' father-in-law) and Ruth. We also learned the importance of the order and positions of the tribes when moving from one site to the next, and why it is important to stop comparing our present circumstances to our past, and to stop complaining about it. How is complaining like hatred, and what is the opposite of complaining? We also learn the mussar (character trait) that is found in this portion, that of humility (anavah in Hebrew). Scripture says that Moses was the “most humble man on earth.” What does it mean to be humble, and how can we begin to emulate the humility of Moses as well as that of our Messiah, Yeshua? This week Brother Mark delivers our Haftorah teaching from Zechariah 2:10-4:7 and the New Covenant E-drash out of Hebrews 3:1-6 is brought by Ro'eh Richard. Torah Portion "במדבר/Bemidbar” which means “In The Wilderness” delivered on June 4, 2022.This week's portion covers Numbers 1:1-4:20 and begins, "And יהוה spoke to Mosheh in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Appointment, on the first day to the second new moon, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Mitsrayim, saying,"What does the Torah mean to you and how does it bring us closer to Hashem? Do we just sit and wait for something to change? Expecting Hashem to come to us while we stand idle in comfort? We think not! How many times have we been told by men to expect life to go smooth and effortless once we submit to God's Word? Is that really what Hashem expects from us? Torah Portion "בחקתי/Bechukotai" which means "In My Statutes," delivered on May 28, 2022.This week's portion covers Leviticus 26:3-27:34, and begins, "‘If you walk in My laws and guard My commands, and shall do them,'"Why does it seem as if the whole world is cursed? This week's Torah portion is relevant to the current times and may hold some answers. To the degree we continue to act contrary to the Torah (His ways), He will act with hostility toward us and deliver us into the hands of our enemies. What can we, as Torah observant believers in Yeshua, do to mitigate the curses destined for the whole world? Why is dissatisfaction a curse? What does faith look like when we are experiencing drought and famine? Our attitude should be submission to His statutes with a humble heart and obedient spirit to bring the favor of Hashem. What does it mean, “ten women will bake your bread in one oven?” How is attitude related to mental health? Is there hope for the faithful followers of Hashem who live amongst the nations of the world? Ro'eh Richard answers these questions and more in our Torah Portion Bechukotai. This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Pastor Richard from Jeremiah 16:19-17:14, and the New Covenant E-drash is delivered by Brother Mark from John 14:15-21.We hope and pray that you find blessing in our teachings. How do we obey the commandments to keep these years as shabbats? Are they a burden or liberty? Every week, we observe the weekly Shabbat - but what is the daily rest? How does the Shabbat help us to reduce anxiety and depression? Why didn't Israel observe these commandments after coming into the land? What happens when we fail to observe the Shmitah and the Yovel? Who is responsible for telling us when they are? Does it apply to our gardens? What are the laws of Redemption? Ro'eh Richard brings answers to all of these questions and more, while also addressing an important mussar (character): Bitachon (persistent trust in Hashem). This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Brother Mark from Jeremiah 32:6-27 and the New Covenant E-drash is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from Luke 4:16-21.We hope and pray that you find blessing in our teachings. The Hebrew word for "dead" is revealed to mean something deeper and greater than the simple surface definition and Ro'eh makes a connection to a statement that Yeshua makes when he says “the dead are to bury their own dead." Ro'eh Richard also makes a connection to the previous parasha when it says in Leviticus 20:27 that a spiritist or medium is to be put to death. Ro'eh also poses the questions, "Why is a leader worthy of double honor? And why are we to submit to the leaders that Hashem puts in our lives?" These questions are answered by Ro'eh Richard in a very enlightening way. Also in this parasha, it says a daughter of a priest is to be burned if she commits adultery. Why the burning and not the typical prescribed manner of punishment of death by stoning? We'll see the importance and the distinction between a daughter of Am Yisrael and a daughter of a priest. ' "What is the Torah's greatest commandment? Is it in how we tie our tzitziot? Is it based on whether or not a man wears a kippah? Or is it founded on how we view our neighbor and his life compared to ours? Many will argue that it's the small things that mean the most to Hashem but should that really be our primary focus? If we look so closely at the splinter in our brother's eye who is failing in these small matters, we fail to recognize the plank in our own and lose sight of the big picture. Thus possibly pushing others away from the Light of the Torah, our path, and the saving grace of others in this world. After the death of ourselves when we stop saying “I have the right, I am entitled” and we realize that we have no rights as we serve HaShem in holiness versus (Lev 18:3) “You shall not do what is done in the land of Egypt where you lived nor are you to do what is done in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you. You shall not walk in their statutes.”Canaanites and others promoted temple prostitution in their fertility worship. Israel was to be different and Holy. The Chumash states that culture is an accumulation of practices where many of which are not in the least logical. The Torah cautions us to avoid falling into habit-forming, mind-molding traps of imitating the practices of alien societies. We are to submit and surrender our social & moral life to HaShem, which is not religion but a way of life EVERYDAY.Pastor concluded with the Mussar connection regarding “responsibility” which is the hidden root of Acharei. We are accountable to one another and we ARE our brother's keeper. He also tied this to the scapegoat ritual: one man is atoning for Israel with a live goat. He lays the sins on the head of the goat and sends it away to the wilderness. This requires the entire community to seek each individual's releasefrom a state of transgression. This week Ro'eh Richard concludes the days teachings with the Haftorah from Ezekiel 22:1-19 and the New Covenant E-drash from Romans 2:17-29.We hope and pray that you find blessing in our teachings. He also explains why the Omer does NOT represent the Messiah. Also covered is the corrected Counting of the Omer. The 50 days between salvation and accepting of the Covenant at Mount Sinai represent the time it took us to transform our “animal soul” in order that we would be able to receive the Covenant (Torah) and become a Bride for Hashem. The Torah without the Ruach HaChodesh is simply legalistic, likewise, the Ruach HaChodesh is incomplete without the Torah. This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro'eh Richard from Isaiah 10:32-12:6, and the New Covenant E-drash is delivered by Brother Mark from John 20:15-20.We hope and pray that you find blessing in our teachings. The teaching focuses on Exodus 15:22-26, with specificity to the Hebrew word “nisy“ which means “plucked out, pull out, and to break up from an encampment.” The Israelites were camped at the bitter waters of Marah and many people died there as a result of their own bitterness. Before they moved on from there, Hashem gave them statutes and rules. The great sage Rambam said that these rules were given in order that the Jewish people learn to pray for their needs without grumbling and to get along with each other during their journey through the wilderness. "This is the chapter that Rabbi's have chosen for the first day of Pesach. Pastor Richard shows the connection of Yeshua with the Exodus out of Egypt. It is said that Moshe will be the first and last Redeemer … Not literally himself, but that the last redeemer will have the virtues of Moshe, the Law of God.In Exodus 12:38, where the scripture reveals that Israel was “driven” out of Egypt, we see the Hebrew word for "driven" has to do with “divorced,” so in the future the ruler of this world will “divorce” us.After 430 years to the day the payment for transgressions was complete and then DELIVERANCE. Pastor Richard shows how Chazal (sages) teach that until that particular hour (debt paid} they were not worthy and we see this concept also in Matthew 24: 22 "And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Was and will time be manipulated?) In HaShem's loving kindness he is looking for ways to redeem us from our present exile. On the 6th day of creation Adam broke covenant and in 6000 years that debt will also be complete and again there will be DELIVERANCE.Watch to see all of this teaching with the exciting conclusion of the future FINAL Redemption and how the difference of being driven to the wilderness (from Egypt) and how we will be allured to the wilderness where there will be HIS provision for us and the judgment to purge the rebels. "What is Tzara'at (biblical leprosy)? Ro'eh Richard explains in this week's teaching what it is and the behaviors that cause it. Why don't we have tzara'at in the present time like we did during the Biblical days - even though we are still behaving as badly as the people in the Israelites did in the days when the Bible was written? Ro'eh Richard challenged us to concentrate on speaking good things about one another – life into – and especially to avoid speaking maliciously. "When looking at the root of the work Pekudei we discover it to mean: appoint, visit and account - A visitation with the purpose for accounting. We also discover that it is connected to a wedding when we look at the gematria. Pastor Cortes shows through scripture how Israel (the people of HaShem) are the virgins mentioned in Psalm 45:15 and Revelation 14:4. He also shows us through the sages, specifically Kli Yakar, that HaShem had to forego His honor to establish for Himself a dwelling among the earthly in order to forgive them for the sin of the golden calf. Why the dietary laws? Is eating “kosher” a salvation issue? We are living tabernacles and must guard ourselves to remain tamai (clean). The teachings of Messiah Yeshua are in congruence with the Torah when we understand the meaning of “food” and apply them in that context. Non-Kosher “food” stops up a person's heart and soul, and when a person eats that which God has said is not food, he swallows an unclean spirit which then defiles his soul. These leaders now needed to be trained in the more complex civil laws so they would understand them fully and be able to judge with wisdom. The scriptures were written to a people of a different time and culture than us and therefore a simple reading of them can be misleading unless we are taught the nuances of the ancient culture it was written to before applying them to current times and cultures. Pastor Richard discusses the rebellious and those who scoff. How are they similar? When is it a sin to rebel against leaders? Who is the angel The LORD sends ahead of the people? Who is Metatron?
