Thanksgiving is a time for reflection. When asked the question why we are thankful, or what we are thankful for, we can think about things or we can think about relationships. When children are asked the question, they will often respond with things they have received like toys. However, as one matures, and we contemplate our lives, the importance of relationships becomes much more important to us. Recently, one of my best friends passed away, Otis McQueen. Otis was an anointed Bible teacher who taught me more about the Scripture than anyone else in my life. More than that, he kindled a much keener desire in my heart to know the Word in greater depth. For this I am deeply thankful. Come listen to my personal story of what I am thankful for in my life. Perhaps you can relate to some of it. In any case, I trust you will be blessed to some of the more philosophical reasons why I am thankful today in ways which had previously never occurred to me. My consciousness of deeper relationships with God my Father and deeper truths He has revealed to me in some of my mediations have motivated to dig deeper into His Word and His Plan and the future of my life as well as the future for humanity. At the beginning and end of this podcast I ask the question of my audience: Who is your Daddy? Reflect on that one question and you will discover that it will change the trajectory of your life when you find the truthful answer to that question. Your destiny is tied to the answer. Papa Tom

As soon as he got out of the boat, a man with an unclean spirit came out of the tombs and met him. He lived in the tombs, and no one was able to restrain him anymore — not even with a chain — because he often had been bound with shackles and chains, but had torn the chains apart and smashed the shackles. No one was strong enough to subdue him. Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains, he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and knelt down before him. And he cried out with a loud voice, “What do you have to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you before God, don't torment me!” For he had told him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!” “What is your name?” he asked him. “My name is Legion,” he answered him, “because we are many.” And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the region. A large herd of pigs was there, feeding on the hillside. The demons begged him, “Send us to the pigs, so that we may enter them.” So he gave them permission, and the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs. The herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned there. They came to Jesus and saw the man who had been demon-possessed, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. Leviticus 16:8-10 After Aaron casts lots for the two goats, one lot for the Lord and the other for an uninhabitable place, he is to present the goat chosen by lot for the Lord and sacrifice it as a sin offering. But the goat chosen by lot for an uninhabitable place is to be presented alive before the Lord to make atonement with it by sending it into the wilderness for an uninhabitable place. Hebrews 10:1-4 Since the law has only a shadow of the good things to come, and not the reality itself of those things, it can never perfect the worshipers by the same sacrifices they continually offer year after year. Otherwise, wouldn't they have stopped being offered, since the worshipers, purified once and for all, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? But in the sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year after year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. God does have a plan. And every one of us have a part in that plan. You have a part. And no matter how small or seemingly insignificant you may feel you are, your part makes a huge difference. You may think you are being humble by staying back, shrinking to the background of life, staying out of sight, not putting yourself out there. But BECAUSE you were created by God to do His PLAN, your life won't make sense until you begin doing it.

Looking around us it is easy to get discouraged, it seems as if the temptation to despair grows with each passing day. Thanks be to God, Our Father, who knows that we need to hear a word of encouragement. Today, He wants us to hear how this is all part of His Plan, that we His co-workers in His Work of Salvation are to love and witness to His Love even to those who are enemies of the Gospel as they too have been called to be saints just as we are called to be saints. So, let us take the encouragement that Jesus and St Paul are giving us today to remain firm in hope to live out a spirit of renewal in this day and this age.
The testimony Lottie Orcutt shares about responsibility and trust is amazing. She really knows that Jesus Christ, through His Atonement in our behalf, is The Answer. The answer to what? Like, pretty much everything. The attacks on the family. The relationships are confusing. The health challenges we face. The questions people have about the Gospel. Pretty much everything can be summed up or modeled by Jesus Christ if we have trust in Him and in His Plan. Lottie has learned this. Lottie has also learned that Heavenly Father sends her messages and messengers in dream. It's a gift of the Spirit. That gift has prepared her and has carried her and has calmed her. The testimony is strong with this one!

God always has a special plan for each one of us and we have to be convinced that His Plan for us will come to pass irrespective of what we encounter on our way.....
We are laborers together with God. He planned salvation to be a joint effort. He would supply the Plan and make sure all things would end up being judged according to truth. Jesus was the Savior Who initiated the Plan and reopened the portal for us to be reconciled back to the Father and to our true identity. Then comes us, the ones who are called to bring the good news of salvation to others. We have been called to work in the harvest field of souls as Ambassadors from the Kingdom of God to reconcile men back to the truth of who God is and who we are. God has included us in His Plan. He has given us a privileged place of investing our lives back into the Kingdom of God. God has made Himself vulnerable to us believing in Him and His love in order for His Plan to work. This is amazing! Most people completely miss this opportunity to labor together with the Father and the Son to bring in the Harvest and defeat the devil once and for all! Starve the Flesh – Judah Lupisella God has a plan! That may be revolutionary to some of you listening right now… for others, not so much! But, did you know that God's plan involves YOU. You are an intricate part of His Plan. If you do not live up to your end of His Plan, somebody somewhere, will go to hell. Whose fault will it be if they go to hell simply because you refused to fulfill God's Plan for your life? I don't know about you, but that is not a scenario or conversation I would like to have with God OR Jesus in the future… amen! But there are many, many people – right now – living their lives as they want to, on their terms, fulfilling the lusts of the flesh and the desire of their eyes… totally ignoring what God would have them do. That does not mean you have to be a preacher or pastor of a church or travel six thousand miles and live the rest of your life in a mud hut somewhere. Now, if that is what God has called you to do – then your time in that mud hut will be more of a blessing than you realize. But not everyone is called to do that. However, EVERYONE is called to do SOMETHING. And that is what we will be talking about today… the difference between not doing something and actually DOING something… amen. Our guest today, Judah Lupisella was living a life that could be described as a “destructive” lifestyle. And, when we make bad choices and bad decisions – usually bad things will be the result. This is what happened with Judah. I won't get into the story, he will. But let's just say that he suddenly had a “come to Jesus moment” that changed his life, his trajectory and his destiny – forever! Amen! He and his wife Gabriella have their own ministry called, “American Revival Ministries,” based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Judah also recently published an excellent book titled, “Starve the Flesh.” This book achieved the rankings of #1 in the New Release Category and the #2 ranking of Best Seller, both on Amazon. Amen! First question I always start with is this… other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Judah Lupisella?” Now, I alluded to some issues with your lifestyle way back when… can you tell us what was going on in your life and what finally brought you to your knees in front of Jesus? What calling has the Lord put on your heart that had you launch your ministry? Revival is definitely needed, more so now than at any other time in this nation's history. How are you reaching out to promote your “American Revival Ministry” goal for “all people to know that all truly matters is Jesus?” Share with us about your book, “Starve the Flesh.” Why did you write this book and why do you believe it is needful for this time right now? Are there any more books in the wings that you are working on right now? There are some questions that are just plain difficult. One of those questions that many believers in God may wrestle with has to do with God seemingly allowing Satan to run the show. Let's face it, evil stinks and we just want it to go away. Yet, God has continued to let Satan's influence dominate our world for thousands of years! Most Christians believe God is absolutely capable of destroying Satan but begins to fall short when asked why it has not yet happened. Answers touch on God creating all of His spiritual and earthly intelligent beings with free choice, and this is a great start. The key factor in all of this is seeing HOW God gives each being a free choice and the ability to have fair and just choices. Unbelievers incapable of seeing the gospel In 2 Corinthians chapter 4 the Apostle Paul is talking about unbelievers. He describes them as incapable of seeing the gospel. Why are they incapable? In verse 4 he says they have been blinded by Satan, the "god of this world." He is not saying they blinded themselves, or purposefully ignored the gospel. He is clear that they can't see it because Satan has made it so. When Jesus spoke the Parable of the Sower and the Seed, he made a similar claim. He interpreted the birds eating the seed by the roadside as Satan taking the gospel message before it could be appreciated. Is Satan in control? Seeing both Jesus and the Apostle Paul making such plain statements about Satan's ability to control the gospel's reach can raise questions. Who is really in charge here? Why hasn't God stopped - or at least diminished - Satan's reach, especially regarding the gospel? The answers are simple. God IS in charge. Period. He hasn't thwarted Satan's influence because it is not yet time for that part of His Plan. While these are simple answers, they certainly need detailed reasoning and scriptural support to reveal their logic and harmony. Let's begin to open the door to those important details. Consider that God's continued allowance for Satan to keep on living is an integral part of His Plan to benefit ALL of His created beings. Satan's rebellion actually serves God's plan in two ways: Satan's continued existence and influence serve as an undeniable and unavoidable example of what rebellion against God's righteousness unfolds. Satan's continued existence and influence serve as the basis for testing each and every one of God's created beings. Every intelligent created being will ultimately choose to stay loyal to God's righteousness OR ultimately choose to follow the darkness of Satan. God set the stars in the sky and put the sun and moon in their place. He created everything on Earth for us to enjoy and yet still beckons further towards more than we could ask for or imagine, infinitely more. We can't see His Plan without His perspective and embracing our role as caretakers or stewards of all He puts in our hands.
The word, “meta-narrative”, is a fancy sounding word describing our foundational assumptions (rarely questioned) that weave into story form in our thinking. This story --and it's particular assumptions-- influence how and why each one of us see and interpret data, events, and experiences the way we do. They affect how we see God, ourselves, our relationships, and every aspect of our lives. To grow requires that we are aware that we have meta-narratives and that we are humble and open to having them challenged as Holy Spirit leads us into all Truth.
