Misfits of Space

With the weather preventing any flights for the night, our misfit Soviet airwomen are left with some precious hours of freedom.  The only thing to do is blow off some steam with vodka, music, and blintzes!

The Misfits' unit is getting ready for a big push from Engels and there are preparations to be made.  But that doesn't mean there aren't some expected personal issues to encounter, along with some unexpected problems.

The Misfits take to the skies to pound the enemy into submission with a series of dangerous, overnight bombing runs.  Will exhaustion and strain take their toll?  And what will become of this brave band of Night Witches if they survive the night?

Welcome to the table! The Misfits are being formed with each of the players designing brand new characters for our next campaign which use Scum & Villainy, a Forged in the Dark game system.  Time to meet the band!

With their characters largely fleshed out, the Misfits finish out our Session 0 by developing the ship and the reputation of the crew as a whole.  Finally, we lay out some all important safety tools as we endeavor to make this campaign, unlike their ship, run smoothly and without issue.

The Misfits are out on their first job with hopes of making enough to tide them over to their first gig.  With the help of some questionable contacts, they're headed out on what should be an easy few days of work and travel.  But is this milk run going to turn sour?

The Misfits have been boarded by the Hegemony! They'll have to find a way to slip past the robotic agent, Decker, and get their load of illicit goods to Nightfall for a meetup with the fixer who arranged the deal. Time to see if our heroes can think on their feet!

Our Misfit heroes are safely ensconced on Nightfall in the city of Yaw. After their successful meeting with Sol Brightman, they're left to contemplate from whence their next batch of credits will come.  Thankfully, Echo gets a call from an old friend...

With an unexpected complication hidden beneath their seats, the Misfits have to figure out how they're going to survive this supposed "milk run" of a job. Only way out is through, sometimes...

After an explosive end to their last job, the Misfits are enjoying some well-deserved R&R. After shaking off some stress and patching themselves up a bit, they get a call from Sol who has some unexpected news...

The Misfits are still dealing with the knowledge that they've made a powerful enemy of the 51st Legion, a dangerous military faction of the Hegemony.  Sol is more than happy to discuss a way to clear things up, but there may be more to the story than even this brilliant barrister is expecting.

The Misfits are in planning mode as they prepare to rescue some stranded members of the Daughters of Polaris.  As they make their plans, their compatriot makes a fashionably late entrance.

With planning complete, the Misfits are ready to fly into action. Just have to avoid the most powerful military force in the sector, land on an asteroid covered in ionic lightning storms, and find the remains of a starship that impacted at high speed. Couldn't be simpler...

The Misfits continue their search of the Daughters of Polaris wreck, hoping to find some sign of life. With the remaining portion of the ship now prepared for entry, it's time to see what they can do to get in and get out safely and quietly.

With the rescued Daughters deposited back on Nightfall, the Misfits are left to recover and deal with the fallout from their latest job. With injuries, heat, and a whole lot of stress, our intrepid heroes have to decide what their next steps are.

Our intrepid heroes are making plans on how to track down a lost caravan while also escaping the heat that's closing in.  They decide the best course of action is to head toward Amerath and see what adventures, opportunities, and pleasures await the Misfits...

Our intrepid heroes are ready to begin their exploration of Amerath and track down the elusive production assistant from Seekers of Secrets. Now if only they could find a ride...

Our intrepid heroes made it through the wildnerness and have arrived at the entrance to the Temple of the Mendicants.  While they've been welcomed readily, it's still unclear just what they'll find inside.  Have the Misfits caught a break, or will their search turn up empty?

The Misfits are getting underway on their journey to find the lost caravan of the Seekers of Secrets. With Derekar providing guidance, background information, and whatever Dutch is asking for, our intrepid heroes are left to look into the mysteries of just what caused the caravan to vanish into the vast nothingness of space...

The Misfits are relying on subtlety and subterfuge to investigate the disappearance of the Caravan from the Procyon Sector.  Their biggest fan is at the jump gate and they're hoping a little star power will keep him distracted while they seek out some very sensitive data.

Our intrepid heroes have managed to infiltrate the jump gate, but getting out without being detected will be much harder. Their big fan, Uden Wrang was more than happy to let them onto the station, but this huge fan of the Misfits will be watching them like a hawk as they rehearse. Do they have one more trick up their sleeves?

Our intrepid heroes have slipped out of the jumpgate unnoticed and are now left to decipher the data that Squii managed to download from the airgapped server.  Once that task is accomplished, the Misfits are sure to have the perfect plan to find and rescue the caravan.

The Misfits creep ever closer to their prize as they now try to find a way inside the mysterious cloud. After some brief discussion, they decide to turn Derekar into a pirate in an act of subterfuge that they hope will get them past whoever is lurking inside the floating piece of nebula.

With a mysterious cloud on one side and a 51st Legion ship bearing down on them from the other, our intrepid heroes are in a tighter spot than usual! The Misfits will need some creativity, quick thinking, and more than a little luck to get out of this one...

Swallowed by the mysterious cloud, our intrepid heroes are about to have their ship pried open by forces unknown. What lies beyond the door for the Misfits? And will they find what they've long sought?

With the caravan found and the Seekers on their way back to society, the Misfits have earned some well-deserved rest and relaxation. And where better to relax and prep for their next adventure than in the Cove, under the control of the Banshee herself, a close and personal friend of Dutch.

The Misfits continue their well-deserved rest in the Cove, enjoying the benefits of being favored guests of the Pirate Queen.  Now it's time for our intrepid heroes to boost their assets, gather some fans, and, in the case of Dutch, potentially be all square with the Banshee, Alanda Ryle, herself.

With Aria handling resupply and Dutch handling the Pirate Queen, our other three intrepid heroes are left with a little free time which they plan to put to good use. Time to see if there are any side gigs available for a little extra cred...

With Squii wandering off to check out the empty gaming tables for an extra score, this side gig is starting to run the risk of going sideways. Can Naam and Leda keep things together until Squii can catch up?

The Misfits are back together following a brief side gig and are ready to hit the hyperlanes once again! Now it's time for our intrepid heroes to pool their information, catch each other up, and set off on another adventure.

Our intrepid heroes are on the case as they try to track down some information on the notorious antiquities smuggler, Damon Rickard. To do that, they're going to need some help from their favorite attorney and fixer, Sol Brightman.  Hopefully he's able to the Misfits exactly what they need...

After a delicious meal with Sol, the Misfits have a task ahead of them: help Damon Rickard find his way out of jail. Our intrepid heroes are left to plan out a defense strategy using their own unique set of skills.

While Naam and Aria are busy making contract with Rickard's attorney, it's up to Leda and Squii to find a pressure point to use on Arbiter Bayard Runyon.  

With the job complete on Warren, all that's left is for our intrepid heroes to meet up with the client once again and get paid. What could go wrong?

With a couple of Misfits off dealing with some personal items, the rest of the band is slowly getting back together after a few weeks of rest and relaxation.

With a new band member welcomed aboard, the Misfits set off for their next gig at the Killarna Industries Soulful Seduction convention.  

After a fantastic show, the Misfits are left to figure out just what to do with the rest of their time at the conventions.

The Misfits have arrived in the twilight zone of this tidally locked planet, looking forward to experiencing their first live match of hypersoccer from the owners' suite.  Of course, that means snacks and a change of clothes first.

All settled in at the opening match for the Sonhandra Wanderers, the Misfits start looking into what is ailing the team.  Unbeknownst to them, a party crasher is fast approaching...

After a bit of a tiff at the owners' suite, the Misfits and Sol head back to the hotel to reconnect with Dutch and plan out next steps.

After some minor arguments and disagreements, the Misfits decide to separate to track down some information about what's happening with the team.

After going their separate ways for the night, the Misfits have returned to the hotel suite to share what they know and figure out what that means going forward.

A wayward Misfit returns and has a heart to heart with Sol...along with pancakes.

The Misfits are digging into just who is to blame on Sonhandra and things still don't add up.

The Misfits are narrowing down their suspects, which means it's time to break out the serious investigation techniques...

While Leda is out drawing some information out of Kirroc, the rest of the Misfits discuss their next steps when an unexpected guest knocks on the door of their suite...

With Ristan Farre closing in, the Misfits, along with Sol, decamp for slighly less plush accommodations.  There, our intrepid heroes plan their attack against the dangerous and violent crime lord of Sonhandra.

All the planning comes down to this as the Misfits sneak into Farre Shipping to break into Ristan Farre's safe.

The Misfits have made it into Farre Shipping and the hunt is on for the recording, along with anything else that isn't nailed down...

The Misfits have successfully imfiltrated Farre Shipping, but things are heating up. Qassss and Naam have managed to fool the guards thus far, Squii and Leda are safely hidden away, and Dutch is staying undercover, but how long will their luck hold out?

The Misfits managed to speed away from Ristan Farre, but now they need to deal with the consequences of their most recent heist...

The Misfits are back on the cruise ship, finishing their recovery and learning just how their actions are rippling across the Sector...

With all their pains and stress behind them, the Misfits turn themselves to the matter at hand; getting Sol to the mining platform controlled by Novatom and figuring out what kind of trouble they can cause.

With everyone settled in under the watchful eye of all things Novatom, our intrepid heroes are starting to discover that you can only outrun the past for so long...

With an old...friend asking for some information in exchange for helping clean Qassss' record, the Misfits have to leap into action in the only way they know how.

With a little time on their hands before they can try to meet Aneras, the Misfits decide to spend a little time checking out the Sensual Delights tour at the Suzerach Amphitheatre, just a short stroll from NovaPol.

The Misfits have made their plans and now board a shuttle to go to the 51st Legion Stockade, entering (and hopefully exiting) as free entertainers. On a personal note, from all of us, please know that part of why we started this podcast was to provide a space for a whole lot of people in the world who, because of their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or a whole host of other reasons, didn't feel entirely safe relaxing and letting loose elsewhere.  Just know that we have no plans to go anywhere and we'll do our best to keep putting out these episodes like clockwork. Now that the plan is in motion, all that stands between the Misfits and their goal is nineteen stories and a whole lot of guards keeping a watchful eye.  Hope they didn't skip leg day!

The Misfits are trying to keep everything under control and low-key which means only one thing: faking a virulent illness.

Our intrepid heroes arrive at the Cove, a safe and secret spot for myriad miscreants of the Procyon Sector to rest, recuperate, and reconnoiter.  Naam has rested enough to enjoy some proper downtime as the Misfits decide on their next steps.

With things calming down a bit for the Misfits, it's time to figure out their next steps as they try to lay low.  But even laying low leads to uncomfortable truths.

The Misfits are back on Nightfall and getting ready for an absolute blowout at the Bith-Orlson resort!  Apart from having to deal with Sol's ex, it should be smooth sailing lakeside as they prepare for the weekend of masquerade balls.

After enjoying some time in the dance club, the casino, and their hotel suite, they're now ready to head down to a sumptuous dinner in celebration of Tamyran and Radoslav's impending nuptials with a couple of hundred of the happy couple's closest friends, along with a few surprise guests.

With the unexpected demand made by Minnalan Tannik on our intrepid heroes, they're left to struggle with what demands are being put on them while they try to lay low.  In addition, Sol is forced to contemplate what his previous life truly meant and what was happening without his knowledge.

Our intrepid heroes are trying to lay low on Nightfall, but the Cobalt Syndicate won't leave well enough alone.  Now the Misfits are left to ask what Min and his Cobalt Syndicate cronies want.

Relationships shift and desires are indulged as Potter's Bay swiftly approaches the famed Queen o' the Sea pageant.
