Wanderers in the 4th Dimension: A Journey Through Doctor Who
Greetings, fellow Wanderers, this is David from Wanderers in the 4th Dimension You were probably expecting an episode of Crossing the Void today. However, for personal reasons, the Wanderers in the 4th Dimension are putting our podcast on hiatus for the time being. Keep an ear out for us when The War Between the Land and the Sea airs, as we plan to cover that. And, you never know, our paths may or may not cross sooner.
In this powerful episode, I bring a passionate word about the urgency of passing the test—not just for ourselves, but for the generations coming after us. Drawing from the lives of Joshua, Caleb, and the Judges of Israel, Jaime unpacks how spiritual battles are won—or lost—based on our willingness to obey, endure, and teach. What you'll learn in this episode: Why your current struggle may be a test God has placed before youHow spiritual inheritance is passed—or squanderedThe danger of letting culture disciple your childrenWhy some battles stay until we learn to fightHow to raise sons and daughters who know how to win God isn't just calling you to survive your season. He's calling you to conquer—and to raise up warriors who know how to do the same. I'll never forget September 2nd, 2015 - the exact date is burned into my memory. I was in the other room while family was visiting, secretly doing my esoteric studying because I didn't want to scare my wife with my interests. Then I received a simple email with the subject "Mind expanding material" and a link to llresearch.com. When I clicked on that link, something extraordinary happened. It was as if someone physically moved my face to focus on a subtitle that read "Are you a wanderer?" I felt almost compelled - like something overtook my body and forced me to click. What I read there was so profound it literally sent me into what felt like a new dimension for two hours. The message was simple but powerful: "You are not alone." It spoke about souls from higher densities who had volunteered for a mission in response to Earth's cries of confusion and pain. This completely blew my mind because I'd never told anyone about my childhood fascination with aliens, out-of-body experiences, telepathy, Atlantis, and pyramids. As a kid in rural Texas, I used to hide esoteric magazines like other kids hid inappropriate material. I even told my parents in first grade after a UFO encounter that I wasn't really from here - and my dad just said "Yeah, we know." That night I sat in silence and darkness, tears streaming down my face for two hours. I experienced a full Kundalini awakening - energy rising and popping at the top of my head, followed by an energetic shift that lasted three weeks. This launched me into studying the Law of One material with incredible fervor. Broader Themes from the Discussion The Nature of Wanderers: The group explored the concept from the Law of One material describing wanderers as souls primarily from sixth density who volunteer to incarnate on Earth to help with the planet's spiritual evolution. These souls come from unified social memory complexes and take great risk in forgetting their true nature to serve here. Universal Experience of Alienation: Multiple participants shared experiences of feeling different, not fitting in, or sensing they don't belong on Earth. This alienation often begins in childhood and includes heightened sensitivity to energies, emotions, and the suffering of others. Spiritual Awakening Journeys: Several people described profound spiritual experiences, kundalini awakenings, and moments of cosmic consciousness that confirmed their sense of being here for a larger purpose. The Challenge of Sensitivity: Many discussed the difficulty of being highly sensitive - picking up on others' emotions, collective suffering, and discordant energies. This sensitivity can be overwhelming and isolating. Internal Work as Primary Mission: A key theme emphasized that the most important work wanderers can do is internal - knowing themselves, accepting themselves, and becoming integrated before attempting to serve others. Multiple participants noted that external service without this foundation can actually cause harm. Finding Community: The discussion highlighted how meaningful it is to find others who understand these experiences, providing validation and relief from the loneliness that often accompanies the spiritual path. The Paradox of Attachment: While the wanderer identity can be deeply validating, there was recognition that ultimately it doesn't matter - what matters is simply being authentic and serving with full presence, regardless of cosmic origins. Purification and Release: The group explored how many spiritually-oriented people seem to be here to release and purify rather than accumulate, often experiencing challenges that serve a greater cleansing purpose for collective consciousness. The overarching message was one of solidarity among seekers who feel called to something greater, while acknowledging both the gifts and challenges that come with spiritual sensitivity and service.

Hello Rank Squad! The footballing summer is officially here, with the Champions League Final crowning what has been a pretty unbelievable season in Europe all round. We start today's episode with the final word on that final, where Luis Enrique's brilliant PSG absolutely dismantled Inter in one of the all-time great showpiece performances. Then, it's onto the talk of the summer - transfer season; and whilst there will be plenty of this covered here on Ranks all summer long, we wanted to take a look at some of the deals already done or nearly done, that we have reservations about for one reason or another. Some are personal, some are club-related, and some are just a question of fit; but whilst there could and should be levels of excitement, it's important to try and be realistic as well. We discuss the details of moves for Rayan Cherki, Jobe Bellingham, Liam Delap and Matheus Cunha; and also touch on Bruno Fernandes' decision to stay at Manchester United. We finish off with a discussion of some of the deals we think are absolutely guaranteed to be a success, as well as some early thoughts on the links between Arsenal and Benjamin Sesko. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?
Adam Peacock, Alyssa Healy and you are joined by Mark 'Tubby' Taylor to go over some of his greatest battles against South Africa. Tubby shares his most memorable moments, including losing the "unloseable" match in 1994, Allan Border's last Test match, Ian Healy winning the game at the Wanderers, Shane Warne vs Daryll Cullinan, playing against Hansie Cronje, his first match as captain, and more. Plus, Taylor shares his thoughts on the IPL final, tells a cracking story about when he first met Virat Kohli, reveals who he thinks should open the batting for Australia at the WTC final, and gives his prediction for the upcoming Ashes series. We finish with a few questions from the Secret Cricket Club, and Tubby talks all things air conditioning, commentating diving at the Olympics, his favourite Test innings, and the most gifted player he ever played with. Winless in almost a month while we continue to concede 2 goals a game. Our offensive game is looking up but our defense needs to be shored up if we're going to mount a real title push. Listen to the boys talk about a dire couple of weeks that saw us slip to the second highest Goals Against in the league (despite sitting at the top of it).
Once you have broken through the illusion of egocentric perception and recognized the personal identity as fictional, there is no going back to ignorance. Even though the illusory ego will try to fill you with dread as it disintegrates in the full light of Infinite Consciousness, once the traces of ego identity have all been annihilated, the inconceivable power and scope of the Self will be realized as all there ever was or will be.
This week on The Scene Podcast, we sit down with acclaimed playwright Anna Ziegler, whose work explores identity, memory, and the intimate collisions between the personal and political. From Photograph 51 to Actually and The Wanderers, Anna shares how her background in poetry shaped her voice, how she approaches ambiguity on stage, and why she's drawn to characters who exist in tension with themselves. It's a thoughtful, layered conversation that celebrates quiet power in theatrical storytelling.

After the people refuse to enter the land out of fear, God sends Israel back into the wilderness for forty years. This message walks through the key stories of that season—manna from heaven, water from the rock, the bronze serpent, rebellion and judgment, miraculous provision, and the raising up of a new generation. Though the people are faithless, God remains faithful. Even in discipline, He provides and prepares. The wilderness is not punishment alone—it's preparation for promise. It's time for The Truth!Today, Sam and Dougie are looking at the Premier League, and the argument that's been raging on social media as to whether this is a Premier League cast that's strong or weak? On one side, you have the earliest that three teams have been confirmed as relegated in Premier League history, as well as Champions in Liverpool who were crowned in April - but realistically haven't lost control since November. Plus, two traditional powerhouses in Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have languished at the bottom, whilst City's title defence never really got going. A lack of jeopardy, perhaps - but what does that say about the strength of the rest?On the other hand, there's a stronger than ever middle class in the Premier League, able to take points off the big boys on a regular basis. Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford and Fulham are still scrapping for the final European spot, and each of them have had big name scalps, and possess certain players that their mid-table counterparts in some of the European leagues could only dream of. Surely that suggests this is a stronger class than ever before, especially with 12th-placed Crystal Palace making their way to Wembley for an FA Cup final? Well, The Truth is somewhere in the middle... And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

New Patreon supporter Greig has reached back into the 1970's for his first pick and it from the year of the gang movie, 1979's The Wanderers! The production of The Wanderers (1979), directed by Philip Kaufman and co-written with his wife Rose Kaufman, was an adaptation of Richard Price's debut novel. Set in the Bronx of 1963, the film aimed to authentically portray the era's street gang culture. Filming took place on location in various Bronx neighborhoods, including Fordham Road, the Grand Concourse, and Pelham Parkway. Cinematographer Michael Chapman, known for his work on Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, contributed to the film's dynamic visual style. The cast featured emerging talents such as Ken Wahl, John Friedrich, Karen Allen, Toni Kalem, and Tony Ganios.Despite not achieving significant box office success upon its release, The Wanderers garnered critical acclaim for its vivid depiction of adolescence and gang life. Over time, it developed a cult following, appreciated for its blend of nostalgia, pathos, and drama. The film's soundtrack, featuring a selection of late 1950s and early 1960s rock and roll, further enhanced its period authenticity. In 1996, Warner Bros. re-released the film theatrically in the United States, reflecting its enduring appeal. If you enjoy the show we have a Patreon, so become a supporter.www.patreon.com/thevhsstrikesbackTrailer Guy Plot SummaryIn a world teetering on the edge of innocence and rebellion, The Wanderers takes you back to 1963 Bronx, where leather jackets were armor and gangs ruled the streets like teenage warlords. Meet Richie and his crew — not just tough guys, but kings of the block — navigating high school, heartbreak, and turf wars in a city simmering with change. As rival gangs clash and the world around them begins to shift, these boys must face the end of adolescence and the beginning of something far more dangerous… adulthood. Auckland FC says a fan was involved in an assault that left a man hospitalised. Police are considering charges against a 46-year-old man after the attack at Saturday's match against Western Sydney Wanderers. Eight people were evicted from Mount Smart Stadium and two were arrested - and a visiting Wanderers fan needed facial surgery. Auckland FC CEO Nick Becker says the accused man doesn't represent the club. "We've got a great set of hardcore fans - known as the Port - who I think do everyone in Auckland proud. And it's certainly not one of them, it's not someone they would associate with and it's definitely no someone we want involved." LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Hello Rank Squad! The January transfer window has closed for another year, and Deadline Day threw up a chaotic bundle of stories to sift through as usual. We examine the final days, and the window as a whole to pull out the most intriguing deals that have piqued our attention for a variety of reasons, and discuss why. Then, we broaden the lens - taking a look at the most radical business, the most transformative window, and the most restorative action taken across the Premier League, before Jack rounds things off with a quick flick round some of the weird and wonderful things that happened in Europe more generally. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?
It's time for The Truth! If you look at the top of the Premier League table, you'll see a few of the country's most famous and recently successful clubs in the pack, but you'll also find a previously fallen giant - in the form of Nottingham Forest, and an upstart underdog - in the form of Bournemouth, going toe-to-toe with the big boys. But how did they do it? What's behind the successes of the Tricky Trees and the Cherries this season, just a few years after promotion from the Championship - how did they turn themselves from relegation battlers or mid-table stalwarts into genuine contenders for European spots at the end of this season? We take a look at their differing strategies in both the transfer market activity and the tactical sense with which they play, examine which feels more sustainable, and hand out some very well-earned credit to two brilliant managers and two clubs doing things their own way. Is this a one-off, or is it a model that other clubs could use to find success? Are these high-flying underdogs showing a new way to go about things, or could they be just another one-season wonder? The Truth is somewhere in the middle...
