During this very special episode of Stream of COPY-ness, S2 E2, Vanessa chats with embodiment coach, blog writer, and her long time soul-sister in both business and life, Alyssa Kuzins about what it's like to voluntarily implode your own life, jump timelines for the betterment of your evolution, and how the art of storytelling can be used as a writer's best tool. Tune in to hear about… Jumping timelines and when you know one has ended for you. How Alyssa navigates the 'sacred vs. shared' aspect of writing and what she's learned from the past. Figuring our your writing style - kind of by accident. The importance of how much people need people, especially when it comes to copy and coaching. How to build your email list from a place of personal storytelling and honing into your own craft. Writing from a place of need for a cathartic outlet. From the sode — Peta Kelly's Substack "The PK Diaries" Links & resources — IG: ALYSSAKUZINS Email: ALYSSAKUZINS@gmail.com Alyssa's Substack, “With Love, From Charleston.” Vanessa's Substack, “Checking out.” Quotes from the episode — "If you can't see it the timelines has ended." - Alyssa Kuzins "Truly, I say timeline because I mean, it is literally like the multiverse in Marvel like it is a new time, I firmly believe that I can't go back to the old timeline I was on. It's not to say that I am rejecting my old life or that I am in any way regretful or remorseful or that I do not take great pride in my life before this timeline. But I am on a new one, and one feels elevated." - Alyssa Kuzins "Stories allow us to speak to people and invite them into contemplation." - Alyssa Kuzins "That choice to willingly risk to break your own heart, or even in those moments, not even the risk, but you know, you're gonna break your own heart like you're doing it versus waiting for life to explode around you because you didn't listen. Because you avoided the hard conversations, the questions because you didn't listen to what God was telling you, because you didn't listen to your intuition. And then shit hit the fan - You have a choice, whether you're going to let it get to that point where like." - Alyssa Kuzins "I'm a very big believer in a divine plan, and that we all have a divine plan, and it's more of a map than a plan. And whether you believe in God or spirit or whatever you want to call it like, the breadcrumbs are there, the steps are there, but you have to be the one to take the initiative to follow them, and move through them. And course correct. That map is only going to take you so far." - Vanessa Lima --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/vanessachecchiolima/message

Peta Kelly is a speaker, author and entrepreneur who has inspired a generation to live, lead, earn and give more consciously. After a career fuelled by living on purpose, she came down from ‘new age amnesia’ – with some realisations. Living consciously can become an excuse to judge others. A lot of game-changers are actually miserable. Are we all just taking ourselves a little too seriously? How can we grow and care… and still enjoy life too? As well as being a successful entrepreneur, author, and mother who is changing the world for millennials, Peta intends to help other millennials to feel more aligned with themselves, what they want, and where they’re going in life and in business. In this episode, we spoke on connecting with, embodying and channeling our truth in all aspects of our lives. Some things need to be routine and a little on the boring side. But every once in a while I get into this lull, where there's nothing really exciting going on, there's nothing to look forward to at the moment and all the days seem to feel like the same day. Literally, on Tuesday, I thought it was Thursday. Do you know how sad that is once I realized it was really Tuesday? Do you ever feel like all the days just kind of swirl together into one big long day? Today, I want to talk about how to make things just a little more exciting each day. I am a work in progress when it comes to my money mindset. I am on a teacher's income functioning as a single mom. Although very happily married, if you did not know, we do not live together (long story), and we do not share our incomes. At work, the people I work the closest with are married and live on 2 incomes. My parents and cousins are all super successful. I am super proud of them. They have worked hard to get where they are. They also chose different career paths, and had I done the same, I too, could be doubling what I make now, if not tripling it. I have had to work on my mindset because at times, I have gotten very negative about it. It's totally on me. I am the only one who controls my thoughts, so I am fully to blame for any negativity that I have had towards money. It is very easy for me to get down on myself when I see people at work going out to lunch together and I never can. I rarely buy new clothes, my roots are showing most of the time, and my nails are never manicured professionally. I could keep going, but I, like I said, have changed my money mindset. I'm only telling you some of my negative thoughts so you can see how changing my mindset of money has changed. I was already a few years in as far as changing my mindset about money, but after reading this book, I feel myself changing even more. Welcome to Season 3, Episode 1 Healing Before Your Birth with Jane Hardwicke Collings. She is a grandmother, midwife, teacher, writer and menstrual educator. And she was also a home birth midwife for 30 years.Jane gives workshops on the spiritual practice of menstruation and the sacred dimensions of pregnancy, birth and menopause. She founded and runs The School of Shamanic Womancraft and has recently launched an e-course called Pregnancy - the Inner Journey and Healing from Traumatic Birth Experiences. She is a very dear friend and certainly one of the wise women in our birthing world.I think our conversation is perfect to include right next to our previous interview with She Births® mum Peta Kelly on scripting your birth.Peta and I talked about healing the mother line and generational trauma - but of course it is not such an easy thing to do.At She Births® we discuss our belief systems and what fills the subconscious mind. The latest neuroscience that confirms how we live is how we labour...and we know that traumas are passed down as well as fears and beliefs but untangling that ball of wool inside our heads and hearts is not always so easy.Jane has many insights that will allow you to understand and unravel perhaps the tangle of a traumatic birth, or the toxic belief systems that could be passed down via your family's ‘red thread'.Jane, like me, believes that giving birth is an opportunity to heal and the growth and transformation available to women is profound. To learn more about Jane's work go to www.janehardwickecollings.comI hope you enjoy and please leave us a review if you do. xxx

Today's conversation is with Peta Kelly.Peta is a She Births® mum and took part in our first live She Births® Show in Bondi as one of the Powerful women who created a peaceful birth.Peta has been featured in Forbes Magazine and considered one of the Top 27 Female Entrepreneurs changing the world by inc Magazine. She was a self made millionaire by the age of 25 and proudly retired her hard working solo mum.She is an author, speaker, change maker, and closeted stand up comedian. Her fantastic books - Earth is Hiring and Earth to Kids are well loved by our community and she has just published a new book: Stop Missing the Point. Hey Conscious people you can enjoy your life tooShe is the mum to two gorgeous little ones born in Australia and proudly talks about scripting her birth.Over the years we have had quite a few mums who have written their own visualisations for birth. And I highly encourage it.I provide the background music from our vis. for this very reason - so that you can lie back in the bath and start to dream about YOUR birth you truly wish to have it…Now scripting is a little bit different to birth affirmations and - it's kind of like an amped up self written visualisation. To script something has detail, feeling, is written in the present tense and I also believe it requires your intuition...connection to your insight and glimpsing into the future. Leaning into the best possible outcome for you!It is a big commitment right - because with birth we also don't know what cards might be dealt to us on the day.But that's what Peta did and lots of other mums too.To write a script for birth indicates for me that you have a degree of mastery - a strong awareness and connection between your body, mind and soul.I hope this chat inspires you to clear the path for yourself - to create and script your best birth possible for you. We are the stories we tell ourselves. Our lives are being created from an inner narrative all the time, whether we are conscious of it or not.And right now amidst this COVID pandemic with so many birth restrictions there could not be a better time for you to come into your full power for your own life and for your birth.Scripting also provides an opportunity to to heal, to awaken and to craft the story or song, so that every cell in your body is singing it, as Peta says.To help you with scripting your birth I have created a guided meditation in our private She Births® Facebook Community for you to access that will also be uploaded to Insight Timer soon. I hope you enjoy. It is incredibly important how prepare for birth. We have to pause, feel, contemplate, discuss, share fears, reflect a little bit more and dig a little bit deeper into our own minds, bodies and hearts - so we can create the best birth possible. Sometimes we also need to look back a few generations back before we can go forward.www.petakelly.comwww.shebirths.comwww.nadinerichardson.com
Date: 21 April 2020 This week our guest is Peta Kelly. Peta earned a first-class honors degree but at the age of 22, following an unseen pull towards something more, she dropped her Ph.D. and future career as a science nerd. Driven by a desire to retire her mum and change the narrative for the millennial generation she started her first business pursuit in network marketing and went on to be earning 7 figures a year by the age of 26. Setting her up to be able to do all the things her soul called her to. She's the jeaniius behind The New Way Live events, Supercharged program, Earthess and a bunch more. She is one of the most generous angel givers I know, the author of Earth is Hiring, Earth is Hiring for kids and last week launched her newest book Stop Missing the Point. When it comes to business and creativity she has so much grounded brilliance to share with our generation. With the offering of this episode, we honor everyone's experience of this moment right now. For some the global pandemic has been a time of heightened creativity and a welcome break from the chaos of everyday schedules, a time to spend with family. For others its been a terrifying experience facing financial insecurity or the loss of loved ones. Without bypassing any of the very real experiences that people are going through right now this conversation is a very forward-thinking one. We explore what the coronavirus means now and for the future and how essential personal choice is for creating a future that is fairer for all. Peta shares thoughts on the future of money and business and a whole bunch more. As always, take what feels good for you and leave whatever doesn’t. I hope this episode leaves you feeling energized about our shared futures. In this episode we explore: Why the coronavirus pandemic was the only way we could have a collective shift in reality Shifting focus from on our systems and money being to blame to self-responsibility How important owning your own choices are and on consciously choosing for things to be different Rethinking our stories about how “it’s not realistic” and “the systems not set up to support me” The role of culture in the future Money and business post-corona When our souls work can become self-neglect Humility and the collective and individual lessons brought by coronavirus Resources + mentions: Find Peta on instagram- https://www.instagram.com/petajean_/ Buy Petas books/programmes: https://www.petakelly.com/shop Earth is Hiring Earth is Hiring for Kids Stop Missing the Point Scripting Mess-ta-class Charles Eisenstein podcast- https://charleseisenstein.org/podcasts/

Peta Kelly is an author and entrepreneur, but those two words do nothing to describe the true depth of Peta's character and soul. In this episode Peta discusses clock blocking - what it is and how it effects you. She also talks through being in service to the creations coming out of you, co-conception of ideas and “perfect” timing, when editing yourself is a help and a hinderance, Peta’s creative process and what you can learn from her approach as well as her thoughts on social media and much more.
Today we are sitting down with author, mother, and one of our favorite humans, Peta Kelly. Let us give you a few reasons why we love this woman so much: 1) Peta holds family as one of her greatest values 2) She is funny as hell 3) She walks the talk 4) She has taught us how to have hard conversations 4) She is constantly evolving without needing anything from anyone. The list continues to grow—especially after today’s interview. Since becoming a mom, she has really focused on the intimacy of motherhood, and shares the outside fears pushed on her during pregnancy, and the trust she maintained within herself. Peta explains what ancestral healing is and the work she does to help heal the painful experiences of her family’s past, like having open conversations with her husband. While in her twenties, Peta focused on soul growth, while working hard as an entrepreneur to set herself up financially before moving into motherhood. We discuss how she’s evolved spiritually since then, since writing her book, Earth is Hiring, and how her self-care rituals, such as stepping off of social media and Cacao ceremonies, have changed since becoming a mom. We could talk to our girl all day, but we hope this conversation will fill you up for a while—self-expression, personal growth, and relationships—LET’S GO! We also talk about: Peta’s preparation & rituals for her home birth Relationships with plant medicine Importance of trust in soul growth The masculine & feminine in relationships Find more to love at almost30podcast.com! We are so grateful for today’s episode and today’s guest, sharing her story and providing an inside look at what it’s like to be a social worker in the foster care system today. On a previous episode, we had mentioned how we’d like to be educated more on the foster care system, and an incredible member of #almost30nation reached out to share her story. This conversation today is emotional, insightful, and is sure to offer you a clearer picture of the field of social work and the world foster kids live in today. Words from our guest: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) working and residing in Los Angeles County. I work with children, teenagers, and families with severe histories of trauma and mental illness. The children and families I work with are a part of the LA County foster care system. I support my clients by helping them process their trauma, empowering them to reach their full potential, advocating for their needs, navigating the foster care system, and guiding them through the roller coaster journey they are on. I have never met more resilient people than my clients, and they inspire me to do this challenging work and be the best version of myself day in and day out. I am originally from the Bay Area and moved to the East Coast to complete my Master of Social Work (MSW) program at New York University. About 5 years ago, I moved to Los Angeles and began working within the LA County Department of Mental Health and Department of Children and Family Services. I was working with a 13 yr old female client who was very suicidal. I was going to her home 3-4 times weekly for therapy sessions to ensure she was safe, had someone to talk to, and could work through her suicidal thoughts. As our time was coming to an end, we wrote each other letters as part of our termination and goodbye process. In her letter to me she wrote, "thank you for letting me realize that life is worth living" THIS is the reason I do what I do. Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it can change the world for one person. Honestly, that is what motivates me day in and day in. That is what I find so rewarding about my job. I know I am not going to “save” all my clients. I know some will fall through the cracks. But I also know that if I can make an impact on just one child, that I am helping change the world for that one person. Statistics (from CASA organization): Foster youth in LA is 30,000 33% of California’s foster youth currently reside in LA County 73% of foster youth have spent two or more years in the system 38% of youth have had five or more foster care placements Less than 50% of foster youth graduate from high school and only 3% graduate from college 33% of girls in foster care become pregnant at least once by age 17 25% of youth aging out of foster care will be incarcerated within two years At age 19, 60% of former foster youth are unemployed 27% of the homeless population spent time in foster care Only 3% graduate from college Half of all young adults who age out of foster care end up homeless or incarcerated. 75% of young women in foster care report at least one pregnancy by age 21 We also talk about… Being in court with her client + the back and forth of cases What drew her to the field of social work Educating others on the foster care system + the money involved in fostering Vetting to be a foster parent How a child ends up in the foster care system Signs of abuse to look out for Working with rauma Preparing for a child a loving family The types of therapies that she uses with her clients Fost-Adopt + adoption and how to go about it in the US The process to work in social work Figuring out boundaries and self-care How we can help Find more to love at almost30podcast.com! I am so excited to bring you this episode! I had the privilege to interview David Elliot in his beautiful home. He is one of the pioneers in the breathwork movement. As you know, breakwork excites me so much in conjunction with the food and body conversation. Breathwork is just a beautiful catalyst for us to go deeper with the food and body conversation. I loved this conversation with David about his breathwork, the spiritual and physical reason behind it. It was a beautiful conversation and I'm so excited to bring it into the world and share it with you! About David Elliott There are many blocks on the healing path. Each block has its own story; hearing into them is David Elliott's gift. Author, teacher and healer David Elliott has spent over two decades helping and inspiring clients from around the world to heal their deepest fears, blocks and negative beliefs. Though no client is the same, the formula he uses never varies. David combines his intuitive gift of clairaudient hearing to help expedite the healing process for all who work with him, gently guiding and revealing deeply buried histories or beliefs with gentle compassion and grace. His process is effective in all areas of his work, from private sessions working one-on-one with clients to the group work he leads during healing retreats around the world. Inside this episode, David shares: Why serving and helping others brings joy The spark that caused David to create a movement surrounding breathing meditation What breathwork is, the science behind it, and what it accomplishes within the body David's desire to equip people to heal themselves rather than creating a dependency The relationship between a person's their hands and their heart during breathwork His mission and why David does this work Clairaudient hearing and how David uses it in the healing process David's daily practices & rituals Promoting self-love and safety within your body through breathwork How David's work integrates into his parenting The importance of your relationship with mother earth David's insights into the relationship between eating disorders and abuse energy You can find more about David at: Website | Instagram | Facebook | Events & Trainings Links: The Reluctant Healer by David Elliott Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza Healing by David Elliott Earth is Hiring by Peta Kelly Check out our Hungry for Happiness community for more details, programs, and tips on how to thrive as a wellness coach! Creating abundance of every kind, including in the area of money and business, is a really useful thing. Peta Kelly says sometimes it's difficult to stay in balance but it's really possible to create harmony in all these areas. Peta is a mother, an entrepreneur, a seven-figure earner, and author of the book, Earth Is Hiring, a playful guidebook for millennials about what Mother Earth is asking of us as individuals and a collective. With a dream to become a doctor by the time she was 25, Peta took the path that most people her age took. Six months into her Ph.D. scholarship, she started seeing signs in her body and that she was no longer on the right path. Peta took a leap of faith and left her Ph.D. and turned to entrepreneurship. Now, she is helping her generation understand what evolution has given us in our DNA that is so different and how to use our unique gifts to create abundance and be a more thriving collective. Srsly. Trying to change your net worth through a business side hustle as a parent is about as mind exploding as it comes. I love my kids. Kids if you are reading this after I am long gone, please know I had nothing but love for you. However, trying to also build a life where I am the most present in your life has been something I need to seek guidance for, gives me tears at night and makes me sad when I see you grew another inch. I follow many people who I feel demonstrate this well (Rachel Hollis, Peta Kelly, Carol Chamberlain (mom), April Seifert - follow them). I remember being a kid and watching my mom go to work. I only remember one weird daycare situation where I wanted her there stat but that is because I licked the community peanut butter knife that was being passed around which I got in trouble for and I thought mandatory naps was a lame rule. Overall, I don't really remember daycare or being away from her sucking. I do remember her getting up early, leaving the house before me sometimes when I was school aged. I remember walking to school with my brothers, feeling independent for doing so. I remember her white lab coat and her perfect smell and her lipstick. She has thin lips like me and she always wore pretty make up and lipstick and does to this day. I remember her hair being done and her jewelry being obnoxious (it still is mom and I love you for it). I remember a mom that hustled to provide for her family. I remember a Proverbs 31 woman. Here is the point. I don't remember feeling stressed that my mom worked. I don't remember feeling robbed. I only remember good things so all of us moms who think that we suck at this mom/working mom/side hustle/net worth growing life... STOP. Just stop. You are fine. Your kids probably don't remember things like you do. Natalee Champlin has a podcast episode interviewing one of the only female private jet dealers, Rene Bangelsdorf and she talks about how your kids don't have to have all of your day. They actually might benefit themselves with a little time away from your cra cra. The one thing I have learned as a mom who was managing a job, a business and being a mom to 3 kids simultaneously is that time HAS to feel and move differently for me. I love all my single friends but there is a super power time warp skill that happens when you become a parent. I always joke that if you asked me before kids if I would ever agree to get up every 45 minutes throughout the night and let something pinch my nipples for 45 minutes I would have punched you in the face. And then I had kids. Guess what? THEY ACTUALLY DO THAT. So how does a mom do it? I recently read the book The Big Leap and learned about Einstein time and then spent a few weeks obsessed with the theory of relativity. This is the Einstein theory that time and space are not what we think of them as. They are more flexible. More relative. So if I am going to DO IT ALL, or ALL THE THINGS as people say now, I have to view time differently. I have to perceive it differently and learn to work in my best times. I found this moved the needle further in my business, commute, bedtime routines, morning rituals, podcast uploading, team meetings and even when I meet with potential customers who reject me. Speaking of Einstein, did you know he was practically unemployable and took crap jobs in the meantime of finding his passion and true calling? One of his first jobs was working with patent applications. Can you picture a sheer genius doing mind numbing paperwork all day? He did what he had to do in order to pay bills, eat and live. So never underestimate yourself or your dreams because you are doing both a side hustle and job. A smart person would built it in the pockets of their life and take smart risk. We have heard this time and time again on the podcast in episodes 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 21, 23. See a pattern? Be proud of that job while you build a hustle. That means you are an extraordinary human who can master Einstein time.

Truth and Dare: Female Empowerment, Authentic Conversation, Real Transformation
This week we sit down with self proclaimed Human AF, Peta Kelly. Peta is an entrepreneur (who started making 7 figures in her mid-20's), a speaker, a humanitarian, an environmentalist, a mother, a writer, and THE voice of the Millennial generation. If her name sounds familiar that’s probably because you’ve seen her all over social media, or maybe you own a copy of her new book, Earth is Hiring, or maybe you’ve stumbled upon her lectures, website, or videos. Either way, she’s out there in the world doing pretty epic work and we are thrilled to have her on the show today. …. if you haven’t heard of her, get excited. You’re about to have a new favorite. In today’s conversation, we talk about Peta’s new book: Earth is Hiring. But wait, what exactly is she hiring us to do? Obviously we asked this question and many, many more. Peta deep dives with us about: Sustainability and the meaning, importance, and relevance of conscious enterprise. Money, and why changing our money stories are paramount if we ever want to do the work that matters. Her perspective on this is incredibly important for all of us to hear. Her life motto - WWMND, What Would Mother Nature Do? And how to align our actions with what the Earth needs. Align... that word. We go hard on this topic. As in, what it really is, why it matters when it comes to producing quality and heart-centered work, and how to find it if you feel like you’ve lost it. The meaning of success, how it’s changed and why it’s time to alter our definitions of it ASAP. And finally, masculine vs. feminine energy and how it has nothing to do with “right and wrong” and everything to do with finding your own inner aligned balance of the two. Yeah… we know… it’s a lot. But Peta is just one of those people. She’s packed with inspiration, information, and passion to boot. Her mission is simple: it’s time to inspire a new generation of change makers. We can no longer sit back and wait for change, we must grab it bravely and walk boldly with it to the frontlines, all while honoring the Earth, ourselves, and each other. Ready to get Human AF? Peta is a paradigm-shifting leader that truly believes we can eradicate poverty and redesign for sustainability as all the solutions are there. The money is there. The wisdom and intelligence is there. Peta brings the energized optimism we all need to dare blaze the new needed trails towards a thriving paradigm. Peta teaches the new way to live, lead, earn and give and what excites her the most is bringing her brilliant, badass generation together as one team and one family so that we can gift our planet and our kiddies an environment where they can thrive. Peta is an angel gifter and a silent investor, and thrives on expanding the cycle of abundance and contribution, especially when it allows young people to kick ass in their endeavours. In this episode we explore how we can all take small steps to help bring forth a new thriving paradigm, how to live in alignment with your souls calling, why play is so powerful, what is so special about the millennial generation, why your vibration is key, what success really means and so much more. Don’t miss the voice of this game-changing millennial leader. WHAT WE COVER: What is the most efficient way of saving the planet? Why are your energy, compassion, vibration relevant for the new generation of change makers? Why is play such a powerful component of a thriving life? How do you live in alignment with your souls true calling? How are we truly thriving? Why is a successful life not all about the action and the doing? How do you get into alignment? When do you know when you’re in misalignment? How can you access your creativity and life force? What is so special about the millennial generation and why are they so often misunderstood? What are the small but essential steps to build a thriving sustainable world? What are the benefits of slowing down when you’re eager to make change happen quickly? QUOTES: "We often prioritize what we think is success rather than the feeling of success…. Regardless of what the world is telling you about success what is in alignment with me, my heart, my mission, my soul? And how can I honour that even when the world is requesting, demanding and expecting and projecting on to you their own idea of success? When we take responsibility for that and move from there we become successful out here as well. It’s soul vs ego." What's the new way to live, lead, earn and give? Peta Kelly says it's simple -- and it begins and ends with our alignment. Peta always lived with a desire to serve others. Her interest in serving our collective health led her first to network marketing, where she sold Isagenix health products. Her belief in the product and magnificent hustle led her to become a millionaire through this business by age 26, when she retired her single mom, and began to launch her own businesses. She even launched herself on a worldwide speaking tour. Because as she began to create, powerful messages began to come to her, and to move through her human channel. She began speaking worldwide, and creating epic sh*t of her own. She also felt a call to help people change their "money story", something we discuss in-depth in this interview. Her most recent message, lovingly and powerfully laid out in her first book, released earlier this year, is that "Earth is Hiring." That there is a "New way to live, lead, earn and give for millenials and anyone who gives a sh*t." And it begins with raising our vibration to meet Mother Earth at her highest frequency and creative brilliance. We've got it wrong when we believe we need to save the Earth, Peta says. Mother Earth is a bad*ss creator - all she needs us to do is remember that we are, too, and rise up to meet her. She says the most important thing anyone can do to meet this collective calling now, as the world rushes toward transformation, is to put your alignment first. Stop doing sh*t you hate, and recreate your life to be and serve what you love. Live in your "tap". We have everything we need, all the time to flow effortlessly with nature, and to create infinite abundance, solutions and service for others. One of the (many) awesome things about Peta that comes through in this fun, power-packed, call-to-action of an interview is that she is human as f*ck. She is no guru, but an awakened human being who has aligned with her soul's purpose and opened her own tap to allow the flow of a powerful message that is within and resonant to all of us - human beings and magical creators in one.Be who you are, and the magic within you here and now will be effortless, Peta tells us. It might even raise the vibration and change the world. Enjoy! The post OS66: Peta Kelly – Earth is Hiring, Our New Way to Live, Lead, Earn and Give appeared first on Ownstream.

An abundance mindset was not something that came naturally to today’s guest, Peta Kelly. In fact, not that long ago, she had to do some major re-writing of her money story. But when she did? She became a self-made millionaire... at the grand old age of 25. (Seriously!). So you can probably tell you’re in for some epic aha’s in this episode. For full show notes and episode resources, head to https://melissaambrosini.com/29 Peta was recently featured in Forbes Magazine and has also been named in Inc Magazine's list of Top 27 Female Entrepreneurs changing the world. Pretty epic, huh?! She is a divine soul on a mission to unleash the genius of GenY’s globally. At age 22, she ditched her PhD studies and went on the hunt for that ‘thing’ that was calling her higher. That's when she found her first business passion in network marketing and became a 7-figure-a-year earner by the age of 26. Her network marketing journey led Peta to her bigger, more global soul work and now she’s building a global enterprise, Jeaniius — a hub of nakedly brilliant people, mobilized to create epic-ness for our planet through conscious enterprise and magical collaborations. Peta teaches the new way to live, lead, earn and give, and what excites her the most is bringing her brilliant, badass generation together as one team and one family so that we can gift our planet (and our kiddies) an environment where they can truly thrive. If you have any limiting money beliefs, abundance blocks or simply want to be ‘richer’ in all areas of your life, this episode is for you! In this episode we chat about: How she became a self-made millionaire at age 25 (04:42) How she mastered her Mean Girl to retire her mum at age 26 (13:53) Her secrets to busting through fear (15:33) Why rewriting your money story is key to experiencing abundance (and how you can do it in your own life) (21:23) Why alignment is so ridiculously important in manifesting your heart’s desires (31:52) The one exercise that will change your relationship with money forever (41:23) Why being ‘nice’ to money is imperative (such a cool idea!) (42:11) How to become financially free… even if you’ve always been ‘bad’ with money, or thought it wasn’t ‘possible’ for you (48:17) The 3 powerful M’s that will rock your life (50:11) Plus so much more! Moving Millennials | Oxygen For A Generation Of Game-Changers
Subscribe on iTunes, Soundcloud, Stitcher Radio. It’s been nearly a year since I’ve produced and published a podcast. A LOT has happened since the last episode (including the birth of my son, Brady). Thank you for waiting patiently (I know you’ve done nothing except refresh the Moving Millennials podcast feed on your iPhone since last August). In today’s episode I share what I’ve been up to for the past year, and talk a little bit about what Moving Millennials will look like moving forward. You’ll also notice that I tried something completely new (and scary) for this episode. I recorded the episode WHILE I was on Facebook Live. This means the show is interactive and is a hybrid of a live talk radio show and a pre-recorded podcast. Would LOVE your feedback on how this works (or doesn’t). Send an email over to dave@movingmillennials.com. The question of the episode was asked by Desiree Diaz. She wanted to know: "How do you personally push through and stay engaged or find motivation when things get crowded/busy? Where have you found your mojo to bounce back?" This was a GREAT question and I did my best to give a direct answer. LOTS of cool resources and links came out during the show today. Here they are in no particular order: 1) Learn about Josh Shipp - Josh is a Teen Behaviour Expert, and the founder of Youth Speaker University - an online program that teaches people how to build a business impacting youth inside the speaking industry. He’s absolutely brilliant. Josh is also the founder of Top Youth Speakers - a small (and mighty) crew of professionals in the youth speaking industry, endorsed and mentored by Josh. At the end of 2015, Blake and I joined the Top Youth Speakers team with our My Life Online business. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we feel like we’re JUST scratching the surface of what’s possible. 2) At the end of may, I had the absolute honour of opening Peta Kelly’s event - “The New Way LIVE” - in Scottsdale, AZ. Peta has become one of my greatest mentors in business and in life. If you’re not following her online, I suggest you start. Begin with her Facebook page. The event featured Peta and 3 other phenomenal keynote speakers. Joel Brown, Alexi Panos, and Preston Smiles. Follow them too. EXCEPTIONAL millennials who I promise to have on the show in the coming months. I believe that does it for the links and resources. To download the Moving Millennials Manifesto and ebook, visit the site and subscribe using your email address. If you’re not in it already, you’ll want to join our Facebook Group. This is becoming a powerful community of like-minded young people who are collaborating to raise the collective consciousness on the planet. Join the crew ASAP.
