Soft Cock Appreciation Week 2024 is asking you, Are you Ready to break the Sound Barrier? Silent sex is often a habit of circumstance and, for many, vocalizing can feel “unnatural”. Cardiovascular research has shown that the HUM in particular helps the physical functioning of the body by increasing Nitric Oxide, a critical component of erectile health. Like a vibrator, a blindfold, or a cockring, bringing sound into sexual play and exploration also enhances sensory arousal and can be a wonderful addition to have in your pleasure chest. In this conversation Erica Leroye and Jill Carnay, Somatic Vocal Coach and founder of The Vocal Universe, discuss the acoustic nature of the body, humming techniques for better erectile function, and more ways for integrating sound into intimate practices for both those who are uncomfortable making noises and those who love it. Together they explore: The profound connection between sound, breath, and sexuality The essentials of the Hum- what it is, how to do it in practice, and how to apply it during intimacy The relationships between the throat/mouth and pelvis/genitals to maximize what you do above to impact what happens down below Between Silence and “Dirty Talk”-Tapping into the eroticism of vowels as a playful way to connect the body/mind both solo and with partners More Info: To connect with Jill Carnay: www.thevocaluniverse.com @thevocaluniverse For More Information and to Connect With Erica Leroye https://www.flowcode.com/page/creativebodyrelease.com For More Information and to Connect With Soft Cock Appreciation Week https://www.softcockweek.com/ We have MERCH! Brigadier General Charles E. “Chuck” Yeager is an Air Force legend. He served in World War II as a fighter pilot, where he shot down a total of 13 aircraft, and escaped capture after being shot down over German-occupied France. After WWII, Yeager became a test pilot for new, faster aircraft. On October 14th, 1947, he became the first person to break the sound barrier while piloting an X-1 aircraft. He also was the first person to fly more than twice the speed of sound in level flight with the X-IA in 1953. Yeager left aircraft testing in 1954, and went on to serve in Germany, Spain, the Philippines, Korea, and Vietnam. He also served as the commandant of the Aerospace Research Pilot School, where all military astronauts are trained, from 1962-1966. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

True friendship is something to be treasured and should never be taken for granted. Jim Brown was one of the greatest athletes of all time. He never missed a game or a down. He once advised a young man who was close to Muhammad Ali to “not let anyone steal your dreams.” Although he was most famous for his football career, Jim Brown was a master of other sports as well and had a notable career as a star in action movies spanning decades. At one time Commander Brown actually went ballistic and flew at supersonic speeds, both at the same time…with the best Sneakers in the world close by. Move your body to improve your life. APPROACHING THE SOUND BARRIER-THE VOICE OF GOD October 14-1947, the day Charles 'Chuck' Yeager broke the sound barrier in his supersonic airplane named "Glorious Glennis." Seven hundred sixty-one miles an hour is how fast sound travels. To break that invisible shield that was thought impossible, Chuck had to travel faster than that in his hypersonic airplane. No one thought it could be done, a barrier impossible to break, yet he did the unthinkable after nine attempts. History is filled with stories just like that impossible barrier broken. Somewhere within the human soul, God planted a passion for overcoming the limitations surrounding us and breaking the barrier. You see it in the race car driver, the mountain climber, the deep sea diver, and the crazy one that jumps out of an airplane without a parachute. The quest to go farther, faster, deeper and higher is a gift God planted deep in the psyche of the human heart. Why is it, then, when it comes to the passion of adventure and discovery, religion lag so far behind? Every breakthrough we have ever had in the spiritual world seems to come with sacrifice and persecution, especially from the religious crowd. We can certainly take that example from our savior because it wasn't the Romans that put him on the cross; the leaders of the local religious center put Him there. Today I'm telling you that we are approaching a "sound barrier" in our spiritual journey with God. I'm also telling you it's possible to hear his voice and be led by the spirit. I will remind you again that the angels of the Lord have been given to you for comfort, courage, protection, and end direction. Some of your religious friends will tell you it's impossible to break that barrier and hear the voice of God. Don't listen to them. You have been created by the father to fly high and go fast, and you have the ability to hear his voice. Lux Radio Theatre, sometimes spelled Lux Radio Theater, a classic radio anthology series, was broadcast on the NBC Blue Network (1934–35) (owned by the National Broadcasting Company, later predecessor of American Broadcasting Company [ABC] in 1943–1945); CBS Radio network (Columbia Broadcasting System) (1935–54), and NBC Radio (1954–55). Initially, the series adapted Broadway plays during its first two seasons before it began adapting films. These hour-long radio programs were performed live before studio audiences. The series became the most popular dramatic anthology series on radio, broadcast for more than 20 years and continued on television as the Lux Video Theatre through most of the 1950s. Breaking the sound barrier- living in the impossible. On October 14, 1947, Chuck Jaeger broke the sound barrier at 45,000 feet over the Mojave desert. 767 miles an hour is what sound travels at an impossible speed to obtain, so they thought. Just 20 years later, on October 3, 1967, a rocket ship skimmed the atmosphere's edge at 4520 miles an hour. The general sense on that was it could never happen, impossible. Somewhere in the last 200 years, we began to break barriers like that and came into an age where we live in the impossible. When the automobile was invented, people said that man could not stand the pressure of going 20 miles an hour in an automobile. Now we sit in our sealed containers on highways that are made for speeds beyond our wildest imagination years ago. We are living in the impossible. How much more is that true in the spiritual world, we are a part of. The church has gone through an evolution of revelation in this last century that many thought could never happen. The big impossibility was always healing the sick through the name of Jesus. Why don't you know that one away with the apostles? We don't do that anymore. Yet over the centuries, some have stepped out and broken the spiritual sound barrier. Men and women of all eras have stepped into a realm of the supernatural and introduced their generation to things they thought impossible. This is our opportunity to express heavenly possibility and go beyond what others consider impossible. You can be what God has called you to be and go where God has called you to, and it's not impossible. Go to the source of your spiritual energy and life fellowship with the father, and you will fulfill the dream that he has for you to be his image on earth. As a gym owner, you'll likely face some issues when it comes to your lease. Three of the most important elements: rent (including CAM expenses), use of premises, and additional costs you're responsible for through "triple net" leases (insurance, maintenance, etc.). How do you negotiate a better lease for your gym business? Is your rent increase justified? What happens when your use of the premises—dropping plates, loud music—becomes a problem for other tenants? We pose these questions and more to Gym Lawyers founder Matthew Becker. Matthew—a gym owner himself—gives you tips for covering your bases and protecting yourself as you navigate the tricky terrain of gym leases.Links"Breaking the Sound Barrier" by Chris Cooper2:15 - The "big 3": rent, use of premises, and what you're responsible for3:07 - What comprises rent 9:08 - Base rent plus fees12:52 - Recourse if base rent goes up 14:55 - Use of premises18:06 - Noise issues23:39 - "Everything is negotiable"27:07 - Protecting yourself32:27 - Cost of legal fees

BOOM! BOOM! And everyone looked to the sky to find the jet airplane that had just broken the sound barrier. It gets everyone's attention because they know something big is happening in the atmosphere above them. The world around us is filled with so much noise and clutter that we can hardly pay attention to anything else. We call it white noise, noise that we don't listen to; it's just they're filling all the decibels in our hearing range. However, another sound barrier gets everyone's attention; it's when God speaks to a generation, and he generally does it suddenly. When the disciples were together in the upper room in the second chapter of Acts, it tells us that suddenly they heard a great sound. It was like a great wind, and it filled the whole room. I tell you this; God is ready to give us a 'suddenly' experience. And I believe it will fill the whole room and soak up all the white noise the world has been making around us. When Heaven's voice speaks, there is always a massive change in the world's direction, and you and I have been going. When the disciples experienced this voice from Heaven, their lives were changed forever, and they were endued with power from on high. Can you hear it? In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about Breaking the Sound Barrier. When we partner with God, there is a sound that is released. It's a sound of triumph. It's a sound of victory. When God's people decide to get in line with His way and His will, there is nothing that the enemy can do to stop the Kingdom push that will take place. The sound that is released breaks strongholds and releases life and light for all of the world to see. Previously known as The Sound Barrier, Noah were a heavy psych rock and heavy organ based group out of Ohio that recorded a sublime record in 1972 that has stood the test of time. Recently reissued on Guerssen Records, their music captures a heady spiritualism as well as the necessary elements it takes truly to be in a rock and roll band! I had the great privilege of speaking with Paul and Larry about their lives growing up, when they first started playing music together and the legacy that Noah has created over the decades. Today I'm really excited to bring you my conversation with Vivien. Some of you may be familiar with Viven . In 2019, while still in high school, she took it upon herself to produce an excellent documentary about misophonia, featuring interviews with providers of therapy and coping, as well as teenagers who have misophonia, some of whom have been interviewed on this podcast. It's called Breaking the Sound Barrier, and you can find it by searching on YouTube or there will be a link in the show notes. I talk to Vivien about the documentary obviously, but also her own miso story, what it's like to now enter college during a pandemic, plus her hopes for our community.
