    This has been a challenging year for a lot of us. We are going to discuss how the attitude of gratitude has changed my life. It has helped me live, grow and get my Uncommon Form of Life. Who I am today is a result of learning through many very challenging seasons, careers, business ventures, relationships, etc...It has formed a belief that has still proven to be true…that everything in Life is happening for me and not to me. This even includes my Diabetes. Are we defined by our life circumstances or by how we respond to it? I believe it really come down to one simple choice. To look at the positive or negative and choose to look for the gain in our pain. How It enables us to turn any moment or season of struggle into a blessing. Ask a simple Question like… what is Great about this? What can I learn from this? What is the One thing I can do right NOW to make this circumstance easier or Unnecessary. The resistance or some may call it pain we feel is actually the seed of gain. What can I be grateful for in it? I would like share my appreciation towards the people that have supported me and helped make this inaugural year of Uncommon Diabetic Solution the amazing year it has been. Thank-You A simple gratitude exercise I do if I'm challenged or in a pain circumstance. I have create one simple trigger question, I can ask myself, when I am in a challenging moment to automatically shift and move my focus toward an attitude of gratitude. No matter how bad things are I just ask..What is great about this? It triggers me to reflect and gets my brain to go TILT…. It shifts me to be curious and investigate the other side of the feelings or proverbial coin. I ask it over in many different ways.. like What is great about this moment? What is great about this person? What is great about this season? What is great about this unexpected life circumstances? What is great about this opportunity vs challenge? This exercise helps me remember that almost all amazing opportunities in life are disguised as what we perceive to be impossible challenges.
