Everything you need to know about the 2021 NBA Playoffs, which were a little bit different than usual.
Nick Angstadt (@NickVanExit) and Isaac Harris (@IsaacLHarris) ask the question: What if the Dallas Mavericks won Game 3 vs the Clippers in the 2021 NBA Playoffs? First, they look into the 1st Quarter of Game 3 when the Mavs went up 30-11 in Luka Doncic's first home playoff game in Dallas. Should Rick Carlilse have left Luka in for the entire 1st Quarter? Would it have made all the difference? Then they focus on the next round, could the Mavs have beaten the Utah Jazz or Phoenix Suns or even the Milwaukee Bucks? How would a 1st Round series win change the Mavs 2021 offseason?Subscribe to our Youtube Channel: Locked On MavericksFollow/Subscribe Anywhere: linktr.ee/LockedOnMavsSupport Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! | Offers from our sponsors: lockedonpodcasts.com/offersBuilt Bar — Built Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar. Special Edition of The Phileo Podcast We are sharing some thoughts on the NBA Playoffs. Talking about surprises, the state of the game, what we think the future may hold, and plenty of Byers talking about how he doesn't like Lebron. Goofs: Troy forgot that Kurt Warner and the Rams won the Super Bowl in the 1999 season but he will maintain that they had not become a full on villain yet since they lost in the Wild Card round in 2000 before making it back to the Super Bowl in 2001. The Spurs playoff streak was 22 years, 3 seasons after Tim Duncan retired, which is tied for the NBA record with the Philadelphia 76ers. We will edit ourselves and say that everyone but Donovan Mitchell was a no show for the Jazz in the second round. Intro/Outro music by friend of the podcast Seth Gilbertson. The Philadelphia 76ers looked absolutely shell shocked in game 1 against the Atlanta Hawks. Even though Joel Embiid returned, there are still questions on if this team really can make it to the NBA Finals, let alone win. The Eagles defense is a concern heading into this season if one position isn't addressed. The Phillies have not done a good job at one thing that has not been discussed by others.
We have a special NBA Playoffs edition of the Hoop Talk Podcast for you guys with this one! On this edition of the HTP, Jay and Ryan sit down and discuss and analyze the results of the first round. But what makes this is so special is that we got to sit down with a great group of our fellow Towson University alum to kick it with us and talk some NBA basketball. Welcoming an avid guest back to the pod, we of course had to get our guy Brooks Warren, host of the Hear Me Out Podcast. We also welcomed back our other friends of the program, Rashad Christian and Tommy Parker who both are making their second appearances on the HTP. We had a great time talking about the futures of the teams that were eliminated and we even looked ahead at the semifinal round matchups! Really enjoyed this one and we hope you do as well! Joe and Will discuss what to expect from the 2nd round of the NBA Playoffs.
The first round of the playoffs is just about wrapped up (we're rooting for you tonight, Luka!) and while it didn't go as planned for our resident LeBron Stan and HEAT fan, the conference semifinals look very promising! Chevy and Rhoby are joined by Intern Jordan to recap the first round naming their STUDS & DUDS (45:25), playing a little round of Dribble, Dunk, or Flop to break down some impressive playoff debuts (37:30), and NBA Eulogies are back to bid farewell to the eliminated teams (57:20). The crew also look ahead to the second round, analyzing the x-factors and dishing out series predictions for the Nets-Bucks (10:35), Sixers-Hawks (18:45), Suns-Nuggets (24:00), and discuss who the Jazz should be rooting for as their next opponent (34:40)!

Landon and Drew return with a late preview for the 2021 NBA Playoffs with some other talk and a lot of off topic bullshit.
The Philadelphia 76ers will have to play the Washington Wizards 1 more time in order to advance in the NBA playoffs. A lot of things went wrong in this game and a certain host sounds off about it in legendary fashion. It's going to be a long summer if the Philadelphia Phillies continue on the path they are on. Can they turn their season around?
