Johns Hopkins foreign policy analyst Jeffrey Pryce is sceptical of US President Donald Trump's claim that an agreement in the Middle East is approved and ready to be signed. Speaking to Francesca Rudkin, Pryce pointed to the extensive demands in a proposed Memorandum of Understanding from several weeks ago, which did not progress. That MoU had included a permanent ceasefire, likely including Lebanon; the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and removal of the US naval blockade; and the beginning of nuclear negotiations, possibly including progress on unfreezing Iranian assets or lifting sanctions on Iran. There was also a push for the Gulf states to sign the Abraham Accords – all of which was “a lot to put into an agreement”. Pryce did agree with Trump that the Iranian decision-making progress could be very extended. “Things have to be brought up to the Supreme Leader, who is by all accounts severely injured, and they have a sort of a long, painstaking process of decision making. So it's possible that we're getting closer to a deal.” LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A foreign policy analyst says Iran coming to Hezbollah's aid could have been a symbolic gesture, to help break something loose in negotiations. Iran fired missiles into Israel in retaliation for Israeli forces striking Beirut, which then responded in turn by blowing up Iranian targets. Donald Trump appealed to both sides to pause the shooting, but the threat of further violence remains. Analyst Jeffrey Pryce told Heather du Plessis-Allan Iran's approaching this in a measured way. He says it launched a salvo, which didn't have much effect, something it's done before to send a political message. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Recent moves by Congress suggest some Republicans are acting more independently from the White House. The House has passed a measure to stop US President Trump ordering more strikes on Iran. Four Republicans broke ranks to secure the vote. Foreign Policy Institute Senior Fellow Jeffrey Pryce told Francesca Rudkin it could now pass in the Senate, which would be significant, even if Trump doesn't sign it into law. He says some chickens are coming home to roost for the President, particularly those in the Republican Party who have previously incurred his wrath. Pryce says impending elections will also be on people's minds. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Send us Fan MailYou hear “heavyweight” and think spectacle, knockouts, and big paydays. Then Pryce Taylor walks us through the part fans rarely see: the month-to-month grind where training is constant, rent is real, and a lot of fighters only get paid when they fight. From his spot in Brooklyn, Pryce explains why staying active isn't just ambition, it's economics, and how trying to hold a regular job can collide with the demands of a serious boxing camp. We get into the behind-the-scenes world of sparring, including Pryce's time around Deontay Wilder and what it's like when Wilder feels the opening and starts letting bombs go. That leads to a bigger conversation about heavyweight boxing: how hard it is to find the right sparring, why being able to switch looks can make you valuable in camp, and how adapting your training partners can level up your footwork, head movement, and timing. Pryce also breaks down how Team Combat League experience changes your mindset when every round feels like the last round. The story gets personal when we talk about Cops And Kids boxing in New York City and why free, legit gyms in underserved neighborhoods produce real talent. Pryce shares how he started boxing later, how hunger and choice shape a fighter's mentality, and why he embraces entertainment even when critics say he plays around too much. We close with what's next on his schedule, including his May 9 fight in Georgia, and the kind of momentum he's chasing this year. If you're into heavyweight boxing, sparring stories, boxing training, and the real business of fighting, hit play, subscribe, share the show with a boxing friend, and leave a review with the one question you want us to ask the next fighter.THE SPAR-INN ON YOUTUBE

After 21 hours of marathon talks in Islamabad, the United States and Iran have walked away without reaching an agreement. U.S. Vice President JD Vance described the proposal put to Tehran as Washington's “final and best offer,” but discussions ultimately broke down over Iran's refusal to commit to not developing nuclear weapons. The failure to secure a deal raises fresh questions about regional stability and the future of diplomatic efforts to contain Iran's nuclear ambitions. And now US President Donald Trump says the navy will block the Strait of Hormuz. Jeffery Pryce, Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, told Mike Hosking there's no knowing what will happen next. -Most views of Nebraska in B1G circles are impressed with the overall team, but no there's no true superstar---Pryce Sandfort isvery good but not a surefire NBA player and is seen as a 2 nd team All-B1G player as of right now-Rienk Mast was seen as a first-team All-B1G player for a while but has dropped off that line…if this team is to win its first evergame and go beyond that, do they have the type of build without a superstar who can take the game over?
