After Friday company announcement of the BritNRG Limited (“BritNRG”) Oil and Gas acquisition. We took the opportunity to talk with Pierpaolo Rocco, Executive Director. MetalNRG plc (LON:MNRG), the natural resource investing and exploration company, announces that it has received confirmation from the Oil & Gas Authority (“OGA”) that it does not oppose the change of control of Sunswept Enterprise Limited and associated subsidiaries to BritNRG Limited (“BritNRG”), the special purpose vehicle created for the acquisition. As a result, BritNRG has now completed the transaction as announced on 9th October 2020 and has acquired 100% of Sunswept Enterprises Limited and related assets. Following the completion of the acquisition and at current modest production levels, Sunswept is expected to be net cashflow positive at Brent prices sub $40/bbl, which is significantly below the current Brent price. A reduction of the breakeven oil price reference is expected as production levels are restored by bringing the Whisby #6 Well back on stream (by a wax removal workover) possibly within Q1/2021. Further reductions and additional cash generation is expected with the near-term development in both the Whisby and Newton on Trent assets. The relevant appraisals are nearing finalisation and BritNRG intends to present detailed plans to the OGA in the shortest possible timeframes. Rolf Gerritsen, CEO of MetalNRG, commented: “I am extremely pleased with the outcome and would like to thank Pierpaolo Rocco for his hard work in leading the transaction to a successful conclusion and I welcome the opportunity to work with the private investors who are our partners in this venture. Now that we have operational control of the assets the real work can commence and both Pierpaolo and I look forward to updating the market on BritNRG’s progress over the next few months as we develop the potential upside of the assets.” The person who arranged for the release of this information is Rolf Gerritsen, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. https://www.share-talk.com/pierpaolo-rocco-executive-director-of-metalnrg-plc-mnrg-l-interview-2/
After Friday's episode Adam, Josh, and Mike (mostly Mike) were called out by Durwood Vanderhoop (@1durwood on Twitter), a member of the Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe, for the way we discussed Kyrie's use of sage to perform a traditional smudging practice prior to the Celtics-Nets preseason game. So, we apologized. And we were appreciative when Durwood agreed to join us to discuss. Durwood shares the significance of sage burning and smudging in his life and his reaction to seeing a bona fide NBA superstar like Kyrie Irving embracing and representing his own Native American heritage. We also discuss the inherent reactivity Celtics fans have to anything Kyrie does, how that contributed to culturally insensitive and uninformed backlash among Celtics fans and media, and briefly reflect on other examples of non-Western cultures imprinting and positively impacting basketball (here's looking at you Doc!) We round out the episode by taking a look ahead to this week's upcoming games against a revamped Milwaukee Bucks squad and the same Brooklyn Nets that just walloped the C's in the preseason. Adam and Mike predict doom-and-gloom for the opening week, while Josh tries to keep perspective. Just another day on Celtics PRIDE (@celticspridepod). Learn more about your ad choices. Last week, the Indian markets gained as did their global peers with the Sensex rising 1.38 per cent while the Nifty was up 1.7 per cent. After Friday's strong close, SGX Nifty is indicating a slightly weaker open for the benchmark indices today with almost 50 points cut for the Nifty. This is the trend across the Asian share markets where investors turned cautious after Japan reported its exports fell almost 12 per cent in March from a year earlier. In Monday's early trends, MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan eased 0.2 per cent. Japan's Nikkei fell 1.3 per cent and South Korea was down 0.1 per cent. This week, Indian equity indices will track global cues, trend in coronavirus cases, and corporate results for stock-specific moves. Coronavirus cases continued to mount across the world. According to one estimate, over 24 lakh people have been infected globally and 1.65 lakh people have died till now. In India, number of cases topped 17,600 with 559 deaths, as per the Worldometer tally. On the other hand, resumption of economic activities for select sectors in non-containment areas will be allowed from today although, a few state governments, including Delhi, have said they would allow no relaxation. Moreover, investors will await the second batch of economic stimulus package and relief measures which if announced will lift investor sentiment at least in the short term. Another major focus will be the earnings season which started last week. The Street will first react to HDFC Bank's Q4 numbers announced on Saturday. The private sector lender reported a 2.5 per cent growth in its pre-tax profit at Rs 9,174.3 crore in the March quarter as it doubled its provisioning and contingencies in light of the Covid-19 crisis. Net profit rose 17.7 per cent to Rs 6,927.7 crore in the quarter. Moreover, HDFC Bank's board has submitted to the RBI a list of names to succeed its CEO and MD Aditya Puri Today, IT giant Infosys is scheduled to come out with its Q4 numbers and analysts are penciling in a 1 per cent QoQ hit in its revenue growth in constant currency terms for the quarter due to disruptions caused by the Covid-19 lockdown. Later in the week, ACC, CRISIL, Bharti Infratel, MindTree, are some of the firms that will announce their numbers. Market participants will also track the Rupee's trajectory against the US dollar, oil price movement, and foreign fund flow. The oil market continues to remain under pressure as the global lockdown saw fuel demand evaporate. On Sunday evening, US May futures contract fell 7 per cent to $16.96 a barrel, a level not seen since November 2001. Brent crude futures was off 32 cents at $27.75 a barrel.

Friday the 13th is, without a doubt, one of the most notorious movie series of all time. When it made its initial run in the 80s, the movies not only drew the ire of parent/teacher groups around the world. It also was the red headed stepchild in the eyes of Paramount executives. How did the series develop from its inception all the way to the modern day? That is the question myself, Matthew Goudreau, and Mik Duffy will explore in this podcast series. After Friday the 13th Part 2 made $21.7 million off a $1.2 million budget, the writing was on the wall that another sequel had to be made. But this time, executives wanted to make sure they took full advantage of a rejuvenated phenomenon known as 3D. So Friday the 13th 3D was released, once again to a slashing from critics but a massive success among audiences. But if the movie wasn't in 3D, would it be remembered at all? You might be surprised at the answer. We then look at Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (keep the snickering to yourself. We'll handle it). Getting their makeup maestro Tom Savini back for what executives promised would be the series coup de gras. Of course, we know that to be a false presumption. But is it worth a look? Listen in as Matt, Mik, and myself answer that question, and also point out the exact moment this franchise found its identity. So Steve asked me, “Does the pendant need to be jade?” I said that I wasn't sure. I would have preferred it to not matter, because after I had passed on the Black Dragon Pendant, I started wearing a green bagua pendant. This green bagua pendant was also bought in Hong Kong but this time from a street kiosk at the famous Ladies' Market along Tung Choi Street. With the bagua on it crudely hacked into it with the green stone being of supposedly jade. At the time of buying, it was more of a tourist impulse buy that I told myself that one day it will come in handy to justify the expense even though it was cheap as. That one day did eventually come by way of my qigong community service at the North Ryde Community Centre. I wore it to every qigong class as part of my kung fu uniform, up until last Friday. With Friday being the day after my visit to the Jade Healing Centre in Penrith. One of the reasons I also visited Steve, was because for a couple weeks up to the visit, when I wore the green bagua pendant, I got the feeling or sensation that maybe it was time to pass it along to the next person. On the one hand, that sensation was a good one to have because it meant that I have been imparting my growing qi into it and that whoever was the recipient, they would be getting some very focused qi around qigong. But on the other hand, I kind of didn't want to part with it. There was the practical issue that on Thursday when I was visiting Steve, I didn't have a replacement pendant and nobody seemed worthy enough to get it. But that was Thursday. On Friday, at the start of my qigong class, I found myself after telling my class about my visit to the Jade Healing Centre, passing the green bagua pendant to my strongest energy worker. She happens to the star volunteer at the North Ryde Community Centre and had with her sister just returned from the Philippines as part of a family visit. Her qi after doing qigong for about a year or so, is very strong and can be felt passively radiating around her of about two feet radius. And so I gave it to her with the same conditions attached: Once the pendant can no longer be felt as nothing, it is time to pass it on to the next worthy recipient. Doubly stressing that specific point, so that nobody gets the idea that pendant is a love token. Of which it is not. After Friday's class she quietly came up to me and said “Thank you”. It turned out that her qi had also tanked some-what because she had spent some time in the Philippines showing others her qigong, as I had cautioned her before the trip that may happen. Extended family and friends are what they are. Always wanting to know but not really believing any of it, unless somehow you can do ‘miracle work'. Which is another ball-game altogether that I strongly advise my students to avoid like the black plague because while you are giving all your qi to others, nothing is coming back to fill the energy tank. Even if you were brought up with the belief and that it is holy and noble to help others, qigong requires the practitioner to abstain from being a martyr. Of the one hundred percent that comes in, a part of it is for self nourishment and wellbeing first. It is only what is left, after a practitioner has expanded in qi, that it is used for the betterment of others. Which makes some people wonder just how big energetically I am to be able to put qi into a pendant? The answer is very, very, big. So big in fact, that my energetic presence can be felt by energy workers around the world. So, then, does the pendant need to be jade? The answer is yes and no... Given that you said the hunting is messy (no clean puncture wounds), I’m assuming that they get dirty… or at least bloody. So do they take showers? Do they comb their hair? Brush their teeth?A: Vampires do shower, but they don’t get dirty the same way we do. Outside dirt, yes–blood and mud and whatnot (though most vampires don’t get a spot on themselves when they eat–its all a matter of practice), but not sweat or body oils. They would never have B.O., ha ha. One girl asked me why Alice had a bathroom and if vampires have to pee. No, they don’t (they use all the blood, creating no waste), but they do shower. (And of course they have to have bathrooms–houses are just built that way, and when they want to move, it would look a little weird on the real estate listing: eight bedrooms, no baths.)They do wash the dust and rain out of their hair, too. And Rosalie particularly spends a lot of time doing hers. (Hair is dead cells–the vampire transformation doesn’t affect it. If you’ve got split ends, sorry! Not getting better. Ha ha).Rob on Ellen! - Nov. 21ROBERT PATTINSON: “Twilight” has sold millions and millions of books. Now the movie’s gonna be even bigger! After Friday, Robert won’t be able to walk down the street without being manhandled by adoring fans (and of course, Chris Matthews). I predict a weekend opening in the gazillion-dollar range.
