    Ivy Insights

The Ringer F1 Show podcast is a great resource for new fans of Formula 1 and those who began their journey with the popular Drive to Survive series. As an American viewer, I found this podcast to be relatable, digestible, and fun, providing an excellent companion for my first full F1 season. While it may not provide the most nuanced F1 coverage, that doesn't seem to be its aim. Instead, it offers an accessible and enjoyable listening experience.

One of the best aspects of The Ringer F1 Show is its relatability. As a show that caters to American viewers, it brings a fresh perspective outside of the traditional European F1 content that has previously dominated the market. This fills a significant gap in the industry and provides American sports media journalism's unique takes and perspectives into Formula 1. It's refreshing to have content like this that appeals specifically to American audiences who may be discovering or getting more involved in F1 for the first time.

However, one downside of The Ringer F1 Show is its frequency. As a fan eagerly diving into the world of Formula 1, I was hoping for more than just one episode per week. Given the vast amount of action and news happening within each race weekend, it would be great to have more regular updates and discussions from host Kevin Clark and perhaps even guest appearances from other personalities such as Ryen Russillo. Hopefully, as the podcast gains popularity, they will consider increasing their output.

In conclusion, The Ringer F1 Show podcast is a fantastic addition to Formula 1 coverage that caters specifically to American fans. It offers relatable insights and commentary on the sport while maintaining an accessible and enjoyable format. While it may not provide in-depth analysis or cover every detail within each race weekend, it serves as an excellent starting point for new fans or those who began their journey with Drive to Survive. With its unique perspective and engaging content, The Ringer F1 Show is definitely here to stay.
