Her appearance is part of an episode centered around Christine Cricket Blair, celebrating Lauralee Bell's 40 years on the show. It teases flashbacks to four decades of Cricket's journey, including encounters with her rival Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and ex-husband Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). But it's not all returns. Lily Winters, played by Christel Khalil, is likely to exit Genoa City soon due to her real-life pregnancy. Meanwhile, fans of Eileen Davidson's Ashley Abbott character will be pleased to see her back on the show, albeit on a recurring basis on YR. In addition, Mark Grossman's mother, Patricia Grossman, made a cameo at Crimson Lights, and Christian Leblanc is set to return as Michael Baldwin for Thanksgiving after his battle with cancer. Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt Young and the Restless comings and goings report Michael Baldwin, portrayed by Christian Leblanc, has been noticeably absent from Genoa City, and fans will be heartbroken to learn that his hiatus was due to a personal health struggle. Leblanc confirmed that he was diagnosed with cancer in June 2023, but is now in remission and will return for a Thanksgiving episode. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has also been on maternity leave but will return to the show on November 1st. However, it's unclear whether her on-screen son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), will also return. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is back in town to help the Abbott family fend off Tucker McCall's (Trevor St. John) revenge plot. But suspicions are high within the family. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) mistakenly believes Ashley to be a spy for Tucker on YR, but it's actually Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) who is the traitor within their ranks. Lastly, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has a contentious relationship with her son Kyle, who is rebounding with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) after a break-up on the CBS soap opera. Note: Sermon is delivered by an 18yo member of The Open Door Church, Christian Leblanc. He was inspired by affirming thoughts from the Holy Spirit as he debated whether he was qualified to preach the Word of God. He is in the Worship ministry as a musician and a Children's Ministry youth leader in the Royal Ambassadors. Sermon: Should we take heed to the thoughts we get? Yes, they effect the way we are living. Where do thoughts go? They go to good or spiral down. Who is it centered around? Us. Does the reality match the fantasy? No, it's an attempt to remove God and to control the our future. In our minds, it will turn out right, but that's not faith. The sermon focuses on renewing our minds with words that are true, noble, just, pure and lovely, mediating on what is virtuous and praiseworthy. We start with opening up our hearts to the Lord to search our wicked ways and surrendering our thought life. Spend time with the Lord in the Word, as a father or as a friend and your thoughts will align to Him. We can take practical steps. First, taking our thoughts captive in the obedience of Christ. Second, think and guard your attention with the intention inputting God's Word more than the distractions of the world. Your obedience, or lack of, leads to actions, the actions develop patterns. Scripture: Philippians 4:8 "...brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."

Three-time Daytime Emmy winner Christian LeBlanc stops by BuzzWorthy Radio. Soap fans were first introduced to the actor in 1983 when he played the role of Kirk McColl on "As The World Turns." The character was involved in a romance with Marcy Thompson, played by Oscar winner Marissa Tomei. LeBlanc would then go on to play Michael Baldwin, a role that he would eventually win three Daytime Emmy Awards for, on "The Young and the Restless." He first appeared on the soap in 1991, leaving in 1993. He eventually returned to the role in 1997, and still plays the role to the present day. LeBlanc crossed over his "Y&R" character to "ATWT," not playing the role of Kirk that he originally played on the soap. He also, alongside co-star Jeanne Cooper, made an appearance on the final episode of "Guiding Light" in 2009. An artist, fun-loving daytime actor, Christian LeBlanc has also been pre-nominated again for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
In what may be the wildest Daytime Confidential podcast episode since, well Michael Muhney (sidenote: What IS in the water in Genoa City?), Luke and Jamey welcome Christian LeBlanc aka bad boy-turned barrister Michael Baldwin from The Young and the Restless, who this Saturday night, August 28, 2010, will be hosting the hottest sketch comedy show in Los Angeles—ACME Saturday Night at the ACME Comedy Theatre (located at 135 N. La Brea Avenue in Hollywood). Honey chile, the spirits of Tennessee Williams, Faulkner and Margaret Mitchell were all circling the roof of the "DC Studios", as Luke tried to keep up with two bad ol' boys from the South! When Jamey and Christian weren't cuttin' up, talking in affected, over-the-top Southern accents about sketch comedy, the theatre, the fine art of Southern fried put downs and sugar tits, Christian managed to reveal which of his 3,745 Daytime Emmys means the most to him. He also waxed poetic about the art of transforming a dastardly soap villain into a beloved hero. But does he miss "Evil Michael"? His answer may surprise you. LeBlanc also talks about what it's like working with several of his lovely leading ladies, Tracey Bregman (Lauren), Michelle "The Staff" Stafford (Phyllis) and Lauralee Bell, who recently reprised the role of Michael's one-time stalking victim Christine "Cricket" Blair Grainger Romalotti Williams. He also discussed his thoughts on the Sarah Smythe storyline and Michael and Lauren's current scenes opposite the newly-christened Jill Fenmore (Jess Walton). Is he excited about former As The World Turns' leading lady Maura West coming to Genoa City as Michael's former co-conspirator Diane Jenkins? You'll have to download the podcast to find out. Speaking of World Turns, what are LeBlanc's thoughts on the soap where he got his start, coming to an end this September? The New Orleans native— who still owns property there— also speaks to the amazing resilience of his people, who are continuing to rebuild the Crescent City after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina five years ago. This Podcast on a Hot Tin Roof will go down as one of the most insanely-soaptasic hours Luke and Jamey have ever attempted to host.
