“You've got to get yourself in a position to exit, and then give yourself the time to exit properly. The biggest advice I give sellers is to not be in a rush to sell.” This is a special episode only available to our podcast subscribers, which we call The Mini Chief. These are short, sharp highlights from our fabulous guests, where you get a 5 to 10 minute snapshot from their full episode. This Mini Chief episode features Dean Salakas, Former CEO of The Party People. His full episode is titled Being sale-ready, Forecasting like a CFO, and Selling confidently on your terms. You can find the full audio and show notes here:
Grab your beach bag, Party People! (And the phone number for your best lawyer friend!) It's time for a Summer of Scandal. For the kick off, Christopher and Eric hop in a brand new Pierce-Arrow with Fatty Arbuckle, one of 1921's biggest silent film stars, and head up the California coast for said star's date with personal ruin. But did the highest paid actor in the world at that time do anything wrong in that infamous twelfth floor suite at San Francisco's St. Francis hotel? As they serve up season 1, episode 2 of the (surprisingly good) late 90's true crime TV series SCANDAL, entitled "Silenced Star", your hosts chew on Hollywood's first ever celebrity scandal. Turns out it's hard to say whether the sour taste of guilt is coming from the accusers, or the accused.

Christopher and Eric round out All About Representation Month by asking you, our beloved Party People, about the queer people who have made the biggest impact in your life. Some of you went with ancient emperors, other chose lovers past and present. The result is a lively, warmhearted discussion of mentorship, community and friendship that ends our Pride Season celebration on an uplifting note. “You've got to get yourself into a position to exit and then put time on your side. Don't be in a rush to sell, but when you are ready, put a deadline in place for buyers to make an offer.” In this episode of The Inner Chief podcast, I speak to Dean Salakas, former Party People CEO, on Being sale-ready, forecasting like a CFO, and selling confidently on your terms.
To atone for forcing Eric to endure three full episodes focused on one of reality television's most awful shows, Christopher wraps up Sin City Month by taking us down the rabbit hole of Las Vegas history, including the city's connection to the gay scion of a notorious Gilded Age copper baron. Then it's time to discuss the concept of sin itself with you, our beloved Party People. "What is the deadliest of the seven deadly sins?" they asked listeners on The Dinner Party Show's Facebook page. Their answers ran the gamut. But many of them searched for the one sin they felt gave rise to all others. Find out if there was a consensus and see where Christopher and Eric fell on the Big Seven – isn't that supposed to be a lucky number?

The Ultimate Party Invite: Will You Accept? Imagine being invited to the most epic celebration of all time—and missing it because you were too busy. That's exactly what Jesus talks about in the Parable of the Wedding Banquet. In this Easter message, Scott walks us through the story and reveals the heart of a God who's not just holy, but joyfully inviting us to the party of a lifetime. Join us as we unpack: Why Easter is the ultimate celebration (bigger than Christmas!). God's extravagant and open invitation to His Kingdom party. The surprising reasons some people refuse the invite (Hint: It involves pride!). What are the "wedding clothes" God provides, and why are they essential? (See Ephesians 4:22-24). How humility unlocks God's amazing grace (James 4:6) while pride leads to being left out. How YOU can accept your personal invitation today and join the eternal celebration! If you've ever felt awkward, unwelcome, or unsure about faith, this Easter message is especially for you. Discover the joy, forgiveness, and transformation God offers freely to everyone – the "good" and the "bad." It's time to shed the old and step into the new life God has prepared! Scripture List: Matthew 22:1-14 Ephesians 4:22-24 James 4:6

Before Christopher and Eric jetted off to celebrate their birthday month by outing all the gay in "Gay Paris", they put together these special flashback favorites to celebrate their Party People here at home. This week, it's Eric's turn to reach into the vaults and shine a light on his favorite past installment of True Crime TV Club. Naturally, he had to rifle through about ten or twenty contenders before settling on a final pick. But there's one hideous real-life villainess who steps out from the terrible crowd. We'll give you a few hints. She sees zombies where others don't. And religion is her weapon of choice. This special re-broadcast contains a jazzy, overly caffeinated new intro from your hosts and updates and fresh takes from the rearview mirror.

If you're anything like your hosts Christopher and Eric, the date of November 5, 2024 has been burning a hole in your calendar for almost a year now. But this episode isn't about politics. It's about how we deal with situations that feel entirely out of control. We turned to you, our beloved Party People, by way of The Dinner Party Show's Facebook page to find out how you manage anxiety and the sense of being constantly overwhelmed by a world in which the media seems determined to both divide and frighten us at every turn. No matter which way the US Presidential Election has shaken out by the time you hear this, this is an inspiring and uplifting episode that reminds us of the basics of a positive outlook and whatever else it takes not to spend your days screaming into the void…or Facebook.
We start off talking about couples Halloween costumes. Then we bring back Head 2 Head for callers and we love it! The creators of the new film party people come in to discuss the new film. In this personal and intimate conclusion to Double Identity Month, Christopher and Eric turn to you, their beloved Party People. On The Dinner Party Show's Facebook page, we asked if any of you have been profoundly deceived by an Internet con-artist. Your answers made for some shocking stories in the retelling, igniting an engrossing conversation about the ways in which the anonymity afforded by cyberspace can be used to abuse. Eric shares his own story of dismantling his charming personal Internet catfish through evidence collection and persistence. Your hosts also offer theories on what drives some people to pretend to be someone they're not. Especially when money doesn't seem to be the objective.
Moin Leude, herzlich willkommen zu ALMOST DAILY! Heute packen die BENS Budi, Eddy, Nils & Simon über ein paar wilde Momente ihrer großen Partyzeit aus. Seit also gespannt und lauschet (und sehet) aufmerksam, Party People!
Catherine Gray, the host of Invest In Her, interviews Dr. Julie Ducharme, President of Lead and Empower Her She Talks, President of Synergy Learning Institute, Keynote Speaker, TEDx Speaker, Entrepreneur, Award-winning Author, and Pro bball/vball Athlete. Dr. Ducharme's first love was sports, and she pursued college athletics despite being told she wasn't smart enough for higher education. She persevered, earning three degrees: a BA in Communication with a specialization in public speaking, an MBA with a specialization in Marketing, and a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Leadership. After playing volleyball and basketball overseas, Dr. Ducharme returned to become a head volleyball coach at a local college, which led to her becoming a professor at the young age of 23. As an overachiever, within seven years, she became the chair of three programs, then a dean overseeing 20 business colleges, before retiring to start her own technical vocational college, where she has served as president for the last decade at Synergy Learning Institute. Dr. Ducharme has authored several bestsellers, including “Authentically You: Empower Your Way to Success.” While advancing her academic career, she also built multiple businesses. Her first venture, Julie's Party People, an event company, has successfully served San Diego for 23 years and continues to thrive. Not stopping there, Dr. Ducharme founded JD Consulting, a company that has evolved over the past 20 years into a digital design agency, course design firm, and commercial production company. She once said, “Once I started building businesses, I was hooked. I am an entrepreneur through and through.” She then established a sports Equipment company Taylor Elite sports and co-founded Your Authentic Genius, a PR company focused on branding women, with Shelby Jo-Long. Additionally, Dr. Ducharme has been developing Lead and Empower Her She Talks for the past seven years. His hideous wounds suggested a crime driven by hate and rage. Our conversation with Clark is a searing history lesson in the dangers queer men faced throughout Texas during the 1990's and beyond.
