THIS EPISODE IS FOR:Anyone who is currently going through divorceAnyone who is thinking of choosing divorceAnyone wanting to know how to find joy through this challenging processAnyone who wants to hear someone who has been through it and wants practical tips for healing OUR GUEST: AUTUMN REESERActing came into Autumn's life as a clear calling when she was six years old and her parents took her to see her first play in the small surf town of Carlsbad, California. She begged to audition for the next one, the jumping off point for a lifelong love-affair with art, musical expression and exploration of the human character and psyche. Autumn's breakout screen role came as the individualist Taylor Townsend on FOX's hit teen drama, ‘The OC.' Over the next decade, she became a mother to two boys and found a home telling love stories on the Hallmark Channel, for which she has become a much-beloved and in-demand star. In recent years she's stepped further into her power by executive-producing for the network, as well as co-writing and directing additional projects for stage and screen. HOW TO CONNECT WITH AUTUMN:InstagramWHAT AUTUMN & JUNE TALKED ABOUT:What is Autumn's definition of joyHow she is harnessing her joy right nowWhy Autumn was called to talk about finding joy through divorceBeing the bridge between the dream and the broken dream The catalyst for her divorceDissolving soul contracts and the business of lifeLearning acceptance during this challenging timeInitiation into unconditional love as an awakening and a call to alignmentThe struggles of speaking up for what we need and wantFinding support and asking for helpThe dissonance of past self and current self Taking off the rose colored glasses / seeing realityWhen you know divorce is the right decisionAutumn's inner techniques that helped her find joy through divorceStarting from what is and using acceptance as a key to shift and what that looks likeFrom heroes to villainsThe importance of feeling all of your feelings and how to do itBreaking out of the mainstream narrative Shame, terror, guilt, self doubt The gifts that come after divorceHow to think of divorce as an initiation for your soulPracticing how to choose yourself beyond divorceBecoming the Creatrix & the Phoenix Rising  / Burning everything down to its essence to find joy How to open your heart again after divorce and move forward--------------------------------CONNECT WITH JOY GUIDE JUNE! Writer-producer Marc Guggenheim approaches his work from a place of trying to please the ten-year-old version of himself who loved sci fi and superheroes. So he was the perfect guy for Warner Bros. and DC Comics to tap to not just play in, but help build its cinematic sandbox. Marc Guggenheim is an American screenwriter, television producer, comic book writer, and novelist. After a romantic comedy script led to a few meetings with producers, he moved to California to pursue a career as a screenwriter. A script for The Practice was his first produced work. He eventually served as a producer for Law & Order, Jack and Bobby, CSI: Miami, and In Justice. With Greg Berlanti, Guggenheim is the co-creator of the ABC show Eli Stone. He later became executive producer of ABC's No Ordinary Family. Guggenheim, together with Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, adapted the Green Arrow comics into the television series Arrow. The three, alongside Phil Klemmer, went on to develop the spin-off series Legends of Tomorrow. With Guillermo del Toro, he co-wrote the pilot and several episodes of the award-winning animated series Tales of Arcadia, an original franchise created for Netflix from DreamWorks Animation, for which he won an Emmy in the category of "Best Writing for an Animated Series" and nominated for several others. He remained as Executive Producer throughout the series' three installments, Trollhunters, 3Below and Wizards: Tales of Arcadia. Marc Guggenheim IMDB Alex Keledjian Alex Keledjian is the creator of Project Greenlight, a documentary television series where executive producers Matt Damon and Ben Affleck gave first-time filmmakers a chance to direct their first feature film.   In 2018, Alex wrote and directed the film High Voltage starring David Arquette and Luke Wilson. Ryan Gibson Ryan Gibson is an Emmy-award winning producer of such films as the critically acclaimed Woe and Hulu's horror-comedy Slotherhouse. He has worked for over twenty years in all aspects of film development and production. Some of the best storytellers in the world led entire lives before getting into the writing business. Let's face it, families are different.  Some are fun and some are glum.  Some are large, while others are small. Some run at a speed that's faster than a speeding bullet, yet others are as slow as molasses.  No matter how you slice it, no family is ordinary; they are all different.  In the first part of our new series, "No Ordinary Family", we talk about what family should look like at LCC. Family should be together as much as possible.  Isolation was never God's plan for believers.  He created us with a need to spend time with each other. Family should show grace towards each other, refusing to allow offense to take ground within our family. Family should bring healing to our members via confession and prayer (James 5:16).  Finally, our family should have a mission to create a family that is EVER-EXPANDING as new family members come to know Christ.  How are we doing? Thanks for listening! Outsider, Loner, Outlaw: These are the roles that define Christian Stokes, the actor. From an undercover biker cop in "Monster" featuring an Academy Award winning performance from Charlize Theron, to an intimidating mob enforcer going through cigarette withdrawals opposite of Brad Dourif and Kenny Johnson in the indy feature, "Few Options", Christian has embraced these characters with intensity and a raw, talented grit. He continues to find the hearts of darkness that lurk within these men in projects in Los Angeles and from his home in Dallas, Texas. Christian Stokes, the man, was raised in East Texas and grew up the oldest son of a firefighter. He credits his laid back, easy going manner to growing up with his grandparents and learning the value of hard work and determination. That focus has led Christian to working steadily in show business for 22 years.  He is a veteran of the Hollywood film scene, having performed with such actors as Jennifer Garner, Matthew McConaughey, Bruce Dern, and Sylvester Stallone. Some of his other highlighted credits include "Nashville", "Escape Plan", "Revolution", "No Ordinary Family", "Alias" and "Bernie" starring Jack Black. Christian recently returned from a European Tour where he directed performances for the popular Marvel Universe Live stunt spectacular, one of the biggest action shows to ever go on tour. He has visited 96 cities and 11 countries in a span of 2.5 years. Upon his return to film/tv, Christian has launched his own production company, Spearhead Productions, and has started working to release his own content in webisode format. His first project under the Spearhead banner is a comedy/horror series entitled 'The Zomb Squad", set to go to camera later this year.
