The Celtics destroy Luka and the Mavs 124-95 in the best game we have seen in weeks. Jayson Tatum led the way in this one with just his second career Triple Double with 29pts 14reb and 10ast. This was a game where the Celtics got back to their roots on the offensive end. The ball and player movement was amazing. Guys were cutting backdoors for easy layups and we finally saw them hit their wide open shots again. When guys are cutting and the ball is moving so fluidly, the shots are soo wide open and we finally saw all of it come together tonight. Obviously Tatum came out here and did his thing but he was not alone. This was probably the best game we have seen from Brogdon in a month and in the first half, Grant Williams was spectacular. We saw JB get in foul trouble early but even he ended up with 19pts on 6-12 from the field! At the start of the 4th quarter, the Celtics had a 27-2 advantage in bench points which is exactly what we have been looking for in recent games. It's just good to see this team play up to their potential after a tough couple of weeks. At this point, the Celtics remain 1.5 games up on the Bucks and Nets as the best team in the entire NBA and look to hold onto that in their final game on their road trip against the Spurs Saturday night! Can't head down to Philadelphia to see them in the hospital because of Covid restrictions, but hope to see them soon at home. In Double C.
