Dutch imprint Konstrukt continues their string of stellar releases through the various shades and moods of techno with a club-centric offering by German producer Hüseyin Evirgen aka Magnia Pia. Started in 2016, the side project of the Cassegrain former half has seen releases on storied labels such as Ed Davenport's Counterchange recordings, Soma Quality Records, and his own Arcing Seas label. Axis Mundi rounds out his third strong release of the year. The mysteriously named Muztagh evokes notions of otherworldly scenes, shrouded in mists. Perhaps a spiritual element twisting through the ether. Rhythmic drums and sweeping pads lending to the feelings of wariness and apprehension as the track ebbs and flows through the duration. Magna Pia's Axis Mundi EP will be released on the 15th of November, including a unique, limited run of 180gr records for the vinyl heads out there. @magnapia www.instagram.com/magna_pia_/ @konstrukt-5 www.instagram.com/konstrukt__ Write up by @huedj Follow us on social media: @itsdelayed linktr.ee/delayed www.itsdelayed.com www.facebook.com/itsdelayed www.instagram.com/_____delayed www.youtube.com/@_____delayed

We've got some fresh new music from Fuinneamh Festival founder Lucas. The revered producer is known for his powerful and deep cuts, finding inspiration in dub chords, deep pads and textured atmospheres. His track ‘Cosmic Background' is an atmospheric trip through wandering chords and deep soundscapes. Luke Reddy aka ‘LUCAS has been producing electronic music and DJing since 2011. Luke's early years as an artist were not your run of the mill, first cutting his teeth performing at his own events which took place in the forest, open air events and raves, deep in the Wicklow mountains, these legendary parties became known as the ‘Keep Her Lit' series. Lucas disappeared somewhat off the DJ radar in 2015, when his ambitious plans for Fuinneamh Festival year one began, but with DJ sets in the summer of 2019 at EP, Body & Soul and at Fuinneamh we saw Lucas make a resurgence into the Irish DJ scene once again. Lucas founded a new record label ‘Ogma' in 2021 and it started with a E.P. with himself and Snakebite 616 the release received huge international and local support from the likes of Freddy K, Ed Davenport aka Inland, Elad Magdasi, Cici, Cailín, Mylo Spykers, Jon Hester, Taint, Aeron, Diarmaid O'Meara and more. The label will return for it's second release this summer. Lucas has provided a deep and driving techno masterpiece. This reminds me of some classic ‘Function' releases, but has Lucas's own spin on it. A big pounding kick plays of deep and whirling atmosphere, as drifting chords provide an entrancing kind of melody. This is a proper techno. We are delighted to have one of our absolute favorites here at Delayed for the latest installment of Delayed with... series, The Drifter. Maeve co-founder’s been very busy lately balancing between studio time, running his dope radio show Cast Adrift(https://soundcloud.com/thedriftersound/sets/cast-adrift-radioshow) and being one of the busiest touring DJs in the underground music scene. We are super happy that he managed to find the time and make this incredible mix for us.
Long awaited maeve compilation ‘Heavy Rotations’ is set to be released on June 8th. The multifaceted package features such amazing talents like Mano Le Tough, Isolee, Mattheis, Oliver Deutschmann, Ed Davenport and the man himself The Drifter, just to name a few. If you listen closely to this mix, you’ll get a taste of what to expect when release ‘hits the shelves’ on June 8th.
This mix is a fantastic representation of Drifter’s style when playing out. Marvelous progression, track selection and as we got used on it, immaculate transitioning make us proud to host mix like this here at Delayed.

NYC crowd can’t wait for annual summer sail with The Drifter, which has become a tradition and is arguably one of the best boat parties in NYC. This year we’ll sail with Drifty on July 21st. get tickets here: https://www.residentadvisor.net/events/1103133 The Drifter on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/thedriftersound The Drifter on FB: https://www.facebook.com/thedriftersound/ artwork by https://www.instagram.com/sergvidal

Apparel Music NYE mix 2K17 powered by @kisk Giuseppe D'Alessandro - aka Kisk - is the owner of Apparel Music, a label based in London but with multi-cultural roots. After years spent paying his dues in Milan’s historic clubs, from Old Fashion to Trattoria Toscana, in unauthorized centri sociali or ‘squat clubs’, fashion shows and radio work, he turned his attention to production. He explored a variety of genres, from trip hop to swing, passing through jungle, West London and Detroit house, to deep house, while never abandoning jazz – the wildest and most impeccable of all - progressively building a digital project. Out of this came the concept of Jazzy, the ability to make jazz and electronic music communicate. This passion is also manifest in the Oneboy project - musical instruments played live to a DJ set. Giuseppe put this project together with writer Tatiana Carelli under the name Taji bpm. Oneboy performed at the 2007 Salone Del Mobile furniture show, at various national festivals and events and on an Italian tour in 2008. Also with Taji he created the Discokit® project, a kind of “sensory stimulation kit” – the dance club becomes ‘takeaway’ and enters the world of art with more than 60 events held over two years. The discography is varied and rich in international collaborations, starting with releases for Multivitamins (UK), then for the PRO-TEZ (Russia), The dub (IT) and Vibe Me Records (ES). Patrik Skoog (DE) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 91 pt.2 Bio: Patrik Skoog isn’t only one of the youngest veteran techno and house producers from Sweden, he’s also one of the most interesting and inspired. Though incredibly versatile, the sustained energy in his sets and productions are equally exceptional. In the last two years, Agaric established the Club Tracks 10” series on his label We Are. Besides his own stellar productions, collaborations with close friends Shonky, Walker Barnard, Ed Davenport, and Beaner have also graced the Club Tracks series. International support came from leading DJs like Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Ben Klock, Luciano, Joris Voorn, Magda, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, and Adam Beyer. Above all, his productions were championed by Josh Wink, who went on to sign his album debut to his Ovum imprint. After more than 100 vinyl releases, Patrik Skoog can look back at quite a history: His harder Techno project Headroom on his label Native Diffusion, releases on Synewave, Loop, and many more long forgotten underground labels in the 90s and early 2000s left his first mark for those who know. From 2005 on, he evolved into his deeper Agaric project, with releases on his internationally celebrated We Are label, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Truesoul & Mad Eye, Raum…Musik, Sunset Diskos, Nummer, Kontra Musik, Treibstoff and Liebe Detail. As a technical DJ with a magical sense for momentum and selection, he’s been playing worldwide for more than 10 years, while his equally as stellar Live sets are one of the few that can rock a crowd throughout its duration. Relocating to Berlin in 2007, he quickly established himself as a celebrated constant inspiration, be it for extended Bar25 after hour sets, or club nights in Watergate, Arena, and Berghain’s Panoramabar, where he now holds his We Are label nights. Agaric’s mature, yet free floating approach to club music culture promises not only sweaty nights (and days) on the floor, but also peace of mind and revelation for the searching soul. Apparel Music is happy to prensent a new Episode in Apparel Radio show: Kisk - Friendly Promo Mix / 107 bpm. Giuseppe D'Alessandro - aka https://soundcloud.com/kisk - is the owner of Apparel Music, a label based in London but with multi-cultural roots. The discography is varied and rich in international collaborations, starting with releases for Multivitamins (UK), then for the PRO-TEZ (Russia), Circle Music (DE) and Vibe Me Records (ES). In 2009, Giuseppe creates Apparel Music - a ‘kitchen’ of artists from all over the planet. Among the many partnerships are long-established collaborations in Russia with the duo SCSI-9 and in Germany with major artists like Lopazz, Elon, Chris Wood, Tom Clark, Ekkohaus as well as Delano Smith, Moodymanc, Domu, Tuccillo, Ali Kuru, Yapacc, Casio Casino, Sarp Yilmaz, Huxley, Lula Circus, Roy Gilles, Fog, Gavin Herlihy and the list goes on. The last years Kisk has perfomed in special parties like Privat, Doc Show, Maximal, EDIT Fesival and legendary clubs like Fabric, Tresor, Amnesia, Fluid, Peter Pan, Bitte, Pergola Tribe, Link and many less known but equally important parties. Kisk has played with artists like Mount Kimbie, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Alex Under, Dave Clarke, Shinedoe, Cedric Maison, Chymera, The Hacker, Delano Smith, Anton Kubikov, Scan7, Monica Kruse, Luke Slater aka Planetary Assault Systems, Seiji, The Advent, Mathematics, Yapacc, Daniel Wang, Noze, Silicone Soul, Ekkohaus, System Of Survival, Tim Xavier, Red Robin, Format:B, Marek Hemmann, Lopazz, Valentino Kanziani, Tobi Neumann, Kaiserdisco, Smash Tv, Alex Picone, Sasha Funke, Lula Circus, Korablove, Sarp Yilmaz, Paco Osuna, Peter Pixel, Huxley, Moodymanc, Ben Klock, Rico Casazza, Magda, Louie Austen, St. Vincent, Oliver Deutschmann, Ed Davenport..

Berlin based dj / producer Oliver Deutschmann has made his mark in recent years by running and releasing on the imprints Falkplatz and Vidab, his long memorable sets at Panorama Bar / Berghain, and numerous releases and remixes for the likes of Soma, AIM, or JackOff to name a few. His uncompromising selections range from deep dubby house to big room techno, keeping the pulse on new sounds while always paying respect to the past, which can also be heard in productions on his collaborations with Ed Davenport, or monikers Gowentgone and SubBroomAssosciation. Last year Deutschmann spent most of his weekends touring the world from Japan, across Germany and Europe, to the middle east reaching cities like Beirut and Tel Aviv, while playing festivals like Sonar and BerMuDa. He is currently spending his off days building a new studio in Berlin, working on new releases and collaborations, and the development of his A&R skills. In 2012 Oliver Deutschmann is keeping up with modern technology, and is set to release a new enhanced multimedia package which will include two cds, vinyl singles, and videos on SLIM Audio featuring exclusive mix and tracks. Also in the pipeline are releases for AIM, Falkplatz, and Vidab. http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?374233

Things are really heating up here at camp NR. Just under 4 weeks to go and we continue our podcast series with none other than Le Jockey. Johny Davies aka Le Jockey: Johny has been producing music for a few years now, but has been involved in music since his childhood. He is extremely competent on the violin and percussion and when he was a child was head chorister of Jesus College Chapel Choir. These days Johny mainly focuses on writing electronic music and has had releases on a string of record labels. He has featured in iDJ magazine and on the cover CD of their July issue. His productions have recieved critical acclaim from artists such as Tim Sheridan, Mark-Henning, Luke Solomon, Massimo Licari and Ed Davenport to name a few and receive regular club play across europe. 2009 looks set to be busy for John with dates confirmed already in Bristol, Bournemouth and London throughout the year and releases on Beiak records and Fullbar Digital coming up over the next months. With a new residency at Rhythm Factory along with DJ Largo and Alex Sullivan for their Beiak Records label party London is a regular fixture for Johny in 2009. The backbone of Johnys work has to be his somewhat unique approach to his Live PAs. Taking music in its component loops and using Ableton to arrange and structure them live at the same time manipulating the loops through chains of effects results in the music being constructed live in front of the audience all in real time. With a constantly maturing sound which spans from techno through to minimal there is always a sense of well structured movement throughout Johnys productions with high production values and attention to detail. http://natural-rhythm.co.uk/ https://natural-rhythm.ticketabc.com/events/festival/
