After years spent paying his dues in Milan’s historic clubs, from Old Fashion to Trattoria Toscana, in unauthorized centri sociali or ‘squat clubs’, fashion shows and radio work, he turned his attention to production. The discography is varied and rich in international collaborations, starting with releases for Multivitamins (UK), then for the PRO-TEZ (Russia), Defected (Uk), The dub (It) and Vibe Me Records (Es). In 2009, Giuseppe creates Apparel Music – a ‘kitchen’ of artists from all over the planet. Among the many partnerships are long-established collaborations in Russia with the duo SCSI-9 and in Germany with major artists like Lopazz, Elon, Chris Wood, Tom Clark, Ekkohaus as well as Delano Smith, Moodymanc, Domu, Tuccillo, Ali Kuru, Yapacc, Casio Casino, Sarp Yilmaz, Huxley, Lula Circus, Roy Gilles, Fog, Gavin Herlihy and the list goes on. In 2015 Kisk start a new collaboration with italian maestro Claudio Coccoluto and become the project manager of his label, the dub. He explored a variety of genres, from trip hop to swing, passing through jungle, West London and Detroit house, to deep house, while never abandoning jazz – the wildest and most impeccable of all - progressively building a digital project. Out of this came the concept of Jazzy, the ability to make jazz and electronic music communicate. This passion is also manifest in the Oneboy project - musical instruments played live to a DJ set. Giuseppe put this project together with writer Tatiana Carelli under the name Taji bpm. Oneboy performed at the 2007 Salone Del Mobile furniture show, at various national festivals and events and on an Italian tour in 2008. Also with Taji he created the Discokit® project, a kind of “sensory stimulation kit” – the dance club becomes ‘takeaway’ and enters the world of art with more than 60 events held over two years. On this week’s episode we bring a live session by a super guest, Berlin based producer and label owner YAPACC (Perlon, Pfand, Lucidflow, Brise, Apparel). Born in Frankfurt and now based in Berlin, YAPACC sways the electronic music scene and dancefloors with his live sound since the early 90s. His interest in music aroused by his experience with analogue electronics at a very young age. He wrote and released his first maelstrom recordings EP in 1997 under the techno duo pseudonym «Electrasmus». This was followed by a track at the Frankfurt's art label Poet Club Recording for the compilation «Inside 2» alongside Brian Eno, Shantel and Apex. Henceforth emerged more than 250 releases by over 80 labels such as Neuton, Perlon, Wir/Treibstoff, Brise and Lucidflow, and remixes for Ricardo Villalobos, Italoboyz, Pascal Feos, 2raumwohnung and many more. Since 2003 YAPACC has also been a member of the project «Narcotic Syntax» with James Dean Brown, which certainly has been an important part of the Perlon history. In the same year they released their first Perlon 036 «Ping Pong Voodoo», which was followed by plenty more on compilations and live analogue performances up until the present day. YAPACC has impressed many international clubs and their visitors with his intensive and organic live performances at venues such as Panorama Bar , Fabric London, Watergate, Love Parade Berlin, Time Warp, Sonar Festival,Bar 25/Kater Holzig, Tresor, Harry Klein, Fuse Club, Studio 80, U60311, Airport, Bar Americas, Mix Club, Bootleg, The Bunker (nyc), Harvest Festival (ca), Fusion Festival, Closer Club, Propaganda Club, amongst many more. Recently he founded the project "The Cabin" and the label «Pfand» with partner Hal Wong. Pfand will regulary release vinyls for club and listening platforms. As a producer and as a DJ in tech, deep and underground progressive house genres he has been spinning and giving live performances in clubs, dance bars and outdoor events all over Israel and in Europe for a decade and has become acclaimed for his unique musical taste, sharp mixing skills, sophisticated and deeply pumping sets combining various eclectic genres into one long dancing composition. His tunes always spark ears and bodies with their massive tribal rhythm section, deep groove bass-line, massive tribal drums, gentle folk flutes leads from the North creating a unique, cinematic vibe. Showing very early his endless love for music and growing as a talented child with an absolute pitch ear, he started to play piano at age of 5 and received his early musical education and performance skills in classical piano. A serious melomane, a freak of vinyl shops,he spent most of his teenage period digging, collecting, recording and compiling music from any available source. Alon studied electronic production and sound synthesis in BPM school in Tel-Aviv and took private master classes from the best electronic producers in Israel. For the last four years Sapiens has released dozen of singles, remixes and Eps on famous labels such as Baroque records, Stellar Fountain, Suffused Music, 238W INC, Pangea and others. Recently a new collaboration with a famous Swedish producer Springa (aka Inkfish) has lead to a stellar club prog production of "The Version EP" on Particles. Everything that attracts Sapiens' Sharp ear, be it classic music, singing birds or urban noises on the streets has its own influence on his tracks and DJ sets. Christopher Velasco aka Mild Bang. 1997 Comienza su carrera musical con la adquisicio?n de su primera guitarra ele?ctrica para empezar a tocar en bandas de Metal, Hard Core, Grunge durante tres an?os. Paralelamente tiene contacto con la mu?sica electro?nica asistiendo a una serie de eventos , sobresale una fiesta con Laurent Garnier y Meca?nica Naranja la cual despierta su creciente intere?s hacia la mu?sica Techno. 2000 Adquiere sus primeros decks y de forma autodidacta aprende a mezclar, comienza a presentarse en eventos pequen?os e integrarse progresivamente al medio. Durante este periodo continua tocando rock. 2003-04 Comienza a hacer sus primeros tracks y deja permanentemente las bandas de rock para dedicarse de lleno a la produccio?n de mu?sica electro?nica ya que e?sta le permiti?a tener control e independencia durante todo el proceso creativo. Participa en eventos multimedia auspiciados por UCSJ como mu?sico invitado creando tracks exclusivos, estos eventos consisti?an de danza contempora?nea, literatura, e instalacio?n entre otros elementos. 2005 Comienza a trabajar con Alfredo Carrilo en la produccio?n de proyectos audiovisuales con un cara?cter experimental, trabajan en conjunto con mu?sicos cla?sicos, en la creacio?n de piezas que se sincronizaban con ima?genes proyectadas, lo cual daba como resultado un acto en vivo, que se presentaba segu?n el caso en diferentes eventos desde pasarelas de moda hasta eventos privados . A trave?s de dichos proyectos empieza a generar conocimiento multimedia el cual le permite establecerse en el medio como vj . 2007 Se consolida su proyecto de Techno y House con el cual nace el nombre Mild Bang. De forma paralela compone mu?sica con Rodrigo Frenk y Javier de la Peza la cual tiene una influenza ecle?ctica de ge?neros como son el Dub, Jazz y Rock progresivo. En dichas piezas se usaron diversos recursos instrumentales: bateri?a electro?nica, procesadores de efectos, guitarra y bajo ele?ctricos y sintetizadores virtuales. Ma?s adelante se une al proyecto Juan Ramon Urrusti quien contribuye con guitarras percusiones y otros instrumentos poco comunes, haciendo las canciones del grupo Aleph ma?s versa?tiles e interesantes. 2008 Mild Bang se une a SuperNova Blue Records encabezada por Alberto Santizzo y Pablo Makka en la cual se publican sus primeros releases a trave?s de BeatPort. Durante este periodo continua trabajando junto con Javier de la Peza en su nuevo proyecto Beat Architect en e?ste adema?s de producir sus propios tracks generan disen?o de audio para la animacio?n "El nin?o raro" de Carlos Fabregat. A partir de este an?o empieza a tocar en fiestas de primer nivel compartiendo escenario con artistas como Minilogue, Jacek Sienkiewicz, Yapacc, Guy Gerber, Ryan Crosson, Inxec, Gaiser, Deepchild, Bruno Pronsato entre otros. Participa en la creacio?n de eventos de primer nivel en la productora Indigo con artistas como Bruno Pronsato, Someone Else , Sweet n Candy, Mikael Stavo?strand entre otros ofreciendo a la gente excelente mu?sica en los mejores lugares de la Ciudad de Me?xico. 2009 A principios del an?o firma su primer Ep en Europa con el sello italiano Substudio, cabe mencionar que el track Evolet fue remezclado por Alex Young y Autistic. A partir de este lanzamiento comienza una serie de releases alrededor del mundo en sellos como: Love Hertz, Panta muzik, Substudio Records, Drag Music, Packed Music, Piso Records, Proton Ltd, Blaq Records, Miniatura Records colocando algunos tracks en el top de ventas de BeatPort. Desarrolla tambie?n en este perio?do el sound track y el disen?o de audio del cortometraje "Zul" dirigido por Luz Ma. Estrada, participando tambie?n en el proceso de grabacio?n en la recoleccio?n del sonido directo. 2010 Es parte fundamental de Blaq Records disquera mexicana sobresaliente haciendo el mastering y sacando relegases, esta es dirigida por el dueto Signal Deluxe, Soundspace e Indigo y recide en Deeper Nights teniendo una serie de presentaciones constantes en el Club AM Local en la Ciudad de Mexico, de esta forma se da a conocer entre los seguidores de mu?sica House a nivel nacional y adquiere mayor habilidad en sus presentaciones en vivo. Was it just because of music? A: I moved to Berlin for a job offer: I was label manager for Contexterrior / Tuning Spork for 3 years, I am still handling labels now (Souvenir Music and Etruria Beats) so it was for music in a way. Berlin totally changed my approach to production and I started "caring" more about a possible music career. Berlin is perfect for creativity and inspiration. Q: You played a lot of gigs in big and famous clubs. If you could choose 3 of them to play there again: which 3 will that be? A: It is very difficult to find 3 favorite places, there are way more than 3. I really enjoy my Watergate residency where I am allowed to invite a friend to jam with me live. It started with KiNK, then Dave Aju and now we are gonna play with Yapacc and then Tolga Fidan. Panorama Bar is obviously one of the top places in the world to play, as well as Analog Room Dubai: it is the opposite of the idea people have from Dubai: a real underground club with no VIP, great sound system, amazing resident deejays, awesome crowd. One of my favourite places. I couls also talk about Ipse, Katerblau, of course The Wood Brussels which is my home, Studio 22 in Liege, Baby Boa in Geneva, La Ruche Lausanne, Badaboum Paris ... there are so many places where I love to play. They are all different but they all have something special. Q: Following your productions there is a strong output on quality labels. What can we expect in 2015? A: The main project is a new label I start with my partner Pascal Hetzel. We work a lot on music seperately or together and we have so much material we believe in that we decided it was time launch our own imprint so we won´t be depending on A&R, release schedules... on top of that something will come on Upon.You , Best´s Friends, Watergate Rec plus a few remixes here and there.

Giuseppe D'Alessandro - aka https://soundcloud.com/kisk - is the owner of Apparel Music, a label based in London but with multi-cultural roots. After years spent paying his dues in Milan’s historic clubs, from Old Fashion to Trattoria Toscana, in unauthorized centri sociali or ‘squat clubs’, fashion shows and radio work, he turned his attention to production. He explored a variety of genres, from trip hop to swing, passing through jungle, West London and Detroit house, to deep house, while never abandoning jazz – the wildest and most impeccable of all - progressively building a digital project. Out of this came the concept of Jazzy, the ability to make jazz and electronic music communicate. This passion is also manifest in the Oneboy project - musical instruments played live to a DJ set. Giuseppe put this project together with writer Tatiana Carelli under the name Taji bpm. Oneboy performed at the 2007 Salone Del Mobile furniture show, at various national festivals and events and on an Italian tour in 2008. Also with Taji he created the Discokit® project, a kind of “sensory stimulation kit” – the dance club becomes ‘takeaway’ and enters the world of art with more than 60 events held over two years. The discography is varied and rich in international collaborations, starting with releases for Multivitamins (UK), then for the PRO-TEZ (Russia), Circle Music (DE) and Vibe Me Records (ES). In 2009, Giuseppe creates Apparel Music - a ‘kitchen’ of artists from all over the planet. Besides his solo releases as “Fog”, he has also released music along with Berlin based partner “Nick Arara”, under the moniker “Fog & Arara”.
