La Escola Aberta de Arte vuelve a Ferrol estrenando una nueva sede y con un equipo renovado en un momento de revitalización del panorama artístico de la ciudad con la apertura de galerías de arte y espacios dedicados a la creatividad como ha puesto de manifiesto la celebración del evento Estudios Abiertos que protagonizó el pasado fin de semana una ruta cultural alternativa por 10 espacios artísticos de la ciudad. El proyecto Escola Aberta de Arte, liderado por Anxo Varela y Carmen Martín, inicia andadura en calle Coruña 76, en el local que albergó las instalaciones de Euro Imagen, frente a los juzgados. Este retorno, que llega con el apoyo de la familia Varela-Martín, incluye a sus hijos Rosalía y José, quienes junto con Daniel Estrada, formarán el plantel docente de la escuela, que cuenta incluso con Gatiño, la mascota del centro, que encantará a grandes y pequeños por su dulzura, representando un guiño a los gatos que pinta habitualmente Carmen. La familia Varela Martín ha comenzado a dar forma a este espacio de creación y aprendizaje, que se reconfigura a partir del antiguo local, adaptándolo a las nuevas necesidades de la enseñanza artística. La Escola Aberta de Arte, recupera así su papel referente en el ámbito cultural y educativo de Ferrol, ofreciendo un espacio creativo y formación en diversas disciplinas artísticas fomentando el talento local. Con la apertura de la nueva sede, la escuela refuerza su compromiso con Ferrol. La propuesta de la Escola Aberta permitirá adentrarse en diferentes formas de expresión artística, de la mano de un equipo con amplia experiencia y un enfoque cercano que busca potenciar la creatividad de cada alumno.
