Read OnlineBecause he spoke this way, many came to believe in him. John 8:30Jesus had been teaching in veiled but deeply profound ways about Who He was. In prior passages, He referred to Himself as the “bread of life,” the “living water,” the “light of the world,” and He even took upon Himself the ancient title of God “I AM.” Furthermore, He continually identified Himself with the Father in Heaven as His Father with Whom He was perfectly united and by Whom He was sent into the world to do His will. For example, just prior to the line above, Jesus states clearly, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I AM, and that I do nothing on my own, but I say only what the Father taught me” (John 8:28). And it was because of this that many came to believe in Him. But why?As John's Gospel continues, Jesus' teaching remains mysterious, deep and veiled. After Jesus speaks profound truths about Who He is, some listeners come to believe in Him, while others become hostile to Him. What is the difference between those who come to believe and those who ultimately kill Jesus? The simple answer is faith. Both those who came to believe in Jesus and those who orchestrated and supported His murder heard the same teaching of Jesus. Yet their reactions were so very different. The same is true for us today. Just like those who heard these teachings for the first time from Jesus' own lips, we also are presented with the same teaching. We are given the same opportunity to listen to His words and either receive them with faith or reject them or be indifferent. Are you one of the many who came to believe in Jesus because of these words?Reading these veiled, mysterious and deep teachings of Jesus as they are presented in the Gospel of John requires a special gift from God if these words will have any impact upon our lives whatsoever. Faith is a gift. It's not just a blind choice to believe. It's a choice based on seeing. But it's a seeing made possible only by an interior revelation from God to which we give our assent. Thus, Jesus as the Living Water, the Bread of Life, the great I AM, the Light of the World, and the Son of the Father will only make sense to us and will only have an effect upon us when we are open to and receive the interior light of the gift of faith. Without that openness and reception, we will remain either hostile or indifferent. Reflect, today, upon the deep, veiled and mysterious language of God. When you read this language, especially in the Gospel of John, what is your reaction? Ponder your reaction carefully; and, if you find you are any less than one who has come to understand and believe, then seek the grace of faith this day so that our Lord's words will powerfully transform your life. My mysterious Lord, Your teaching about Who You are is beyond human reason alone. It is deep, mysterious and glorious beyond all understanding. Please give me the gift of faith so that I may come to know Who You are as I ponder the richness of Your holy Word. I believe in You, dear Lord. Help my unbelief. Jesus, I trust in You.Image via Adobe StockSource of content: catholic-daily-reflections.comCopyright © 2025 My Catholic Life! Inc. All rights reserved. He explains that biblical characters are not historical persons but eternal states of consciousness that every individual must pass through in the process of spiritual awakening.Goddard asserts that the Bible is a divine plan revealed through personal experience. The story begins in Genesis, where Joseph (representing human imagination) is placed in a coffin in Egypt, awaiting deliverance. This signifies the burial of divine potential within man, which must be awakened and drawn out.Key Themes & TakeawaysMoses Represents the Birth of Spiritual AwarenessThe name "Moses" means "to be born" or "drawn out."Moses initiates the journey out of Egypt (the world of limitation and material existence). The revelation of God's true name—"I AM"—is given to Moses (Exodus 3:14), symbolizing self-discovery.Elijah Represents the Power of God (Unrefined Power)The name "Elijah" means "My God is Jehovah."Elijah represents sheer, untempered power and divine might. He performs miracles but without love or mercy, calling down fire and destruction.Elijah is lifted up into heaven by a whirlwind, showing that this state must be transcended.Jesus Represents the Fulfillment—Power Tempered by LoveThe name "Jesus" means "Jehovah is Salvation."The state of Jesus transcends Elijah by embodying infinite love, mercy, and wisdom. This is the final state of awakening where man fully realizes he is God.Jesus' resurrection symbolizes the complete transcendence of the material world. The Journey Through These States is InevitableEvery individual must move from Moses (awakening), through Elijah (power), to Jesus (love). The process is not voluntary—we are all "drafted" into this spiritual transformation."Egypt" represents our material existence, from which we must exit spiritually. The True Name of God is "I AM"When Moses asks God for His name, He responds "I AM THAT I AM" (Exodus 3:14).This means God is not external—He is your own consciousness and imagination. To awaken, one must recognize and trust in the divine power of their own "I AM."The Transfiguration & The Ultimate RevelationMoses, Elijah, and Jesus appear together in the Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-8), representing the progression of consciousness. After the vision, only Jesus remains, signifying that the final state is unity with God.At the culmination of the journey, "I and the Father are one" becomes a realized truth.Final MessageGoddard urges us to recognize that we are all destined to awaken as God. This journey involves moving through the states of Moses, Elijah, and Jesus, ultimately leading to divine self-realization. He encourages his audience to put full trust in the name of God—"I AM"—and to understand the Bible as a personal, mystical roadmap to enlightenment. ***Download the free Neville Goddard PDF Guide at manifestwithneville.com - Discover the transformative power of Neville Goddard's wisdom with this FREE 60-page guide on his 12 timeless principles of manifestation and reality creation.★ Follow the podcast for daily lectures from the mystic Neville Goddard ★FREE RESOURCES:• Join the FREE Neville Goddard newsletter• Join the FREE Telegram Channel• Feeling is the Secret • Full Audiobook* * *The James Xander Trip Podcast:• Listen on Spotify• Listen on Apple Podcasts• Listen on YouTubeDIVE DEEPER:• The Unlock God Mode Course• The Infinite Wealth Guided Meditation* * *ABOUT NEVILLE GODDARD:Neville Goddard (1905-1972), was an English writer, speaker and mystic. The Four Mighty Ones symbolize the four aspects of consciousness that shape our reality. This concept is veiled throughout scripture—in the four gospels, four horsemen, four rivers of Eden, and four creatures around God's throne—and represents the four functions of the creative process within man.The riddle from Proverbs 30 asks: Who hath gathered the wind in his fist? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name? Neville explains that these questions relate to the fourfold creative process:Awareness (Spirit / Wind) – "I AM"The first mighty one is the awareness of being, symbolized by the Jod (fist) in the divine name.It is the foundation of creation—without awareness, nothing exists.Imagination (Water / Psychological Truth) – The VisionaryThe second mighty one gathers psychological truth into a form, shaping thoughts into possibilities. This is the "garment" that one mentally wears.Assumption (Earth / Solidity) – The DirectorThe third mighty one, represented by the Vow (nail), fixes the imagined state into reality.By fully assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled, we establish it as fact.Manifestation (Embodiment of the Son) – The ActorThe fourth mighty one enacts the vision, becoming the reality that was once imagined. This is Christ within—the power of divine imagination expressing itself as form.Neville describes this as a spiritual production where man is simultaneously the producer, author, director, and actor of his life's drama. When these forces work in harmony, we consciously create our reality.Key ThemesThe Name of God ("I AM") is the key to creation. The fourfold creative process determines our life's circumstances. There is no secondary cause—all experience stems from consciousness.Conscious assumption creates fact—what we persist in imagining hardens into reality.Peace is only possible when mankind understands and applies these principles.By recognizing the four aspects of creative power within, we can consciously direct our lives rather than being victims of external events. Why Christians Support Israel 4 Reasons I would support Israel even if I wasn't a Christian: First, after the horrors of the holocaust and Adolph Hitler's genocide of 6 million plus Jews, the civilized world agreed that Jews should finally have their own home country to live in after centuries of persecution. Second, it makes the most sense for that homeland to be right where Israel is. They have a historical claim on that land going back to 1405 B.C. Third, Israel has become one of the world's best democracies. It is the best place in the Middle East to be anything but a follower of Sharia Law. Fourth, Israeli citizens and other Jews have made momentous contributions to the world. “The problem is that one side has supported a two-state solution – I'm talking about Israel. The other side never did and still doesn't. One side uses terrorism to achieve its goals – the other side retaliates against terrorism. One side is accused of genocide but doesn't do it; the other side would actually love to do it. People keep saying Israel has the right to defend itself, but when Israel does, they object to it.” - Bill Mahar Biblical reasons to support Israel: First, our Christian faith is rooted in God's dealings with Israel. Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” - Genesis 12:1-3 And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God. - Genesis 17:8 Being the nation to bring the Law and the Messiah into the world is not just the greatest blessing for the nation that was chosen, but also the greatest burden any nation has ever had to bear. And now the LORD says. Who formed Me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob back to Him (For I shall be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and My God shall be My strength). Indeed He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.” - Isaiah 49:5-6 But some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree. Do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are remember IT IS NOT YOU WHO SUPPORT THE ROOT, BUT THE ROOT THAT SUPPORTS YOU. - Romans 11:17-18 As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers, For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. - Romans 11:28-29 Second, there are prophecies related to Israel being fulfilled, and that are yet to be fulfilled. Then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land. But the land shall be abandoned by them and enjoy its Sabbaths while it lays desolate without them, and they shall make amends for their iniquity, because they spurned my rules and their soul abhorred my statutes. YET FOR ALL THAT, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not spurn them, neither will I abhor them so as to utterly destroy them utterly and break my covenant with them, for I am the Lord their God. But I will for their sake remember the covenant with their forefathers, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I AM the LORD. - Lev. 26:42-45 Third, it really is a timeless principle that God will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse Israel.

Day 76 Today's Reading: John 8 In Christian Letters to a Post-Christian World, renowned English writer, Dorothy Sayers, aimed some powerful words at religious people who have watered down the Son of God and made Jesus accommodating: The people who hanged Christ never accused Him of being a bore; on the contrary, they thought Him too dynamic to be safe. It has been left for later generations to muffle up that shattering personality and surround Him with the atmosphere of tedium. We have very efficiently pared the claws of the Lion of Judah, certified Him “meek and mild,” and recommended Him as a fitting household pet for pale curates and pious old ladies. As we have seen throughout our 260 Journey so far, Jesus is anything but those things. Four times in today's reading, Jesus refers to Himself by using a common Old Testament title used only for God: I AM (see verses 12, 24, 28, and 58). That's why this chapter opens with the religious wanting to stone a woman caught in adultery and end with them wanting to stone Jesus. Look at the ending of the chapter with me: The Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple. (John 8:57-59) By Jesus using that phrase for Himself, He clearly meant for them to understand that He was saying that He was God. And the religious were not having it—thus the stones. They needed the stones to “declaw” the Lion of Judah and make Him a manageable kitty cat, as Sayers said. Consider this revelation U2's lead singer Bono offered: “Religion can be the enemy of God. It's often what happens when God . . . has left the building.” Or to say it another way . . . religion is what is left when God leaves the room. That is the truth! Many years ago, a woman entered a Häagen-Dazs store in Kansas City to buy an ice-cream cone. After she'd ordered she turned and found herself staring directly into the face of Paul Newman, the famous actor who was in town filming Mr. & Mrs. Bridge. He smiled and said hello. His blue eyes were even bluer in person, which made her knees buckle. She finished paying and quickly walked out of the store. When she'd regained her composure, however, she realized she didn't have her cone, so she turned to go back in and met Newman who was coming out. “Are you looking for your ice cream?” he asked her. Unable to utter a word, she simply nodded. “You put it in your purse with your change.” When was the last time the presence of God made you forget what was going on around you? Made you forget the dishes? Made you forget the ballgame? Made you forget the bank account? Made you forget . . . where you put your ice cream cone? Christian writer Donald McCullough writes on how cavalier we treat the privilege of standing in God's presence Sunday after Sunday: “Reverence and awe have often been replaced by the yawn of familiarity. The consuming fire has been domesticated into a candle flame, adding a bit of religious atmosphere, perhaps, but no heat, no blinding light, no power for purification.” Author Annie Dillard echoes the sentiment: Does anyone have the foggiest idea what sort of power we so blithely invoke? Or, as I suspect, does no one believe a word of it? The churches are children playing on the floor with their chemistry sets, mixing up a batch of TNT to kill a Sunday morning. It is madness to wear ladies' straw hats and velvet hats to church; we should all be wearing crash helmets. Ushers should issue life preservers and signal flares; they should latch us to our pews. For the sleeping God may wake someday and take offense, or the waking God may draw us out to where we can nev

Why in the New age community is the name of God - I AM used so much , yet the personal and real relationship with Jesus is denied claiming that we can become god completely. In James 3 We break down the deceiving compromising tongue that seeks to pull us away from who Jesus is & our relationship with him & how to spot & strengthen each other in our prayers. https://www.smucd.org/blog https://www.smucd.org/donate #SMUCD #JESUS #Baptism #Slavery #Israel #TheBible #NewAge #Occult #Consciouscommunity #TheConsciouscommunity #FalseProphet #Falseteachers #fakeguru #guru #divination #witchcraft #modalities #idolatry #demons #principailities #meditation #chakras #deuteronomy28 #christ #prophecy #Hebrews #Sermons #Oneness #thePast #TheFuture #Revelation #Newtestament #Oldtestament #conversation #TheMultitude #radio #Holy #TheHolySpirit #Repentance #TRUTH #God --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/smucd-podcast/message

Rather be a wet water walker than a dry boat sitter Be an active God glorifying Christian, step out of your comfort zone.    Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation – Andrew Murray   I can not “But God” can By Pastor George Lehman Oral Roberts (the important thing is not the size of your faith It's the One behind your faith – God Himself Never try to have more faith – Just get to know God better and because God is faithful, the better you know Him, the more you'll trust Him. Your faith will increase!! Matthew 14:27–33 (NIV) – 27But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid.” 28”Lord, if it's you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” 29”Come,” He said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” He said, “why do you doubt?” 32And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33Then those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” Note this:  Peter would never even have considered climbing out of that boat if it wasn't for his complete trust and faith in Jesus. Example of a little girl whose daddy says jump into the water I'll catch you. The size of her trust determines her response. Trust says – Jump; Fear says – No You see, it's more than just her fears or confidence – (you must want to!!) Get out of your comfort zone It's the spark of the will, which determines her destiny. The moment you and I take the step towards your heavenly Daddy you'll find “He is more than able” Your confidence will grow, your faith will grow, and the size of your God will grow.   Matthew 14:27 – “Take courage; it is I.” The words Jesus used here: - Matthew wants us to understand. - The actual Greek translation used, the – Self Revealed Name of God – “I AM who I AM”   Exodus 3:14 - And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, AND I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE.”   Revelation 1:17B – 18 17B Do not be afraid; I AM the first and the last. 18 I AM the living one; I was dead, and behold I AM alive for ever and ever, and I hold the keys to death and hell.”   Hebrews 13:5 “I AM” will never leave you nor forsake you, or fail you, nor give you up nor relax My hold on you (assuredly not). I want you to think about this: - (you will be able to take this with you for the rest of your life) The size of your God you serve right now: - Is directly proportional (verhouding) to your a) Trust in Him b) Commitment level c) Prayer life d) Bible reading plan e) Worship of God f) And may I say your obedience to God as well. I really strongly believe that: - The way you and I live our Christian lives is a consequence (uitwerking) of the size of our God. The problem many of us have is: -That our God is too small. We are not convinced that we are: Absolutely safe in the hands of a fully competent all knowing all powerful ever present more than enough God. Do you know what happens when you wake up in the morning and begin to live with a small God? You'll be a dry boat sitter You live in fear, uncertainties, defeat, anxiety, constant failure.  and live in lack of victory. We are called to have an abundant life Because everything depends on you and not God. They say when you are all wrapped up in yourself you make a pretty small package Our moods are governed by our circumstances. When our God is small If things go well – you're well If things are great – you're great If things are difficult – you're miserable and negative. We even become very un-spiritual. We actually shock ourselves to hear what comes out of our mouths – many times. Even further, if our God is small, we cannot give generously because our financial security depends on us. The fact is when we shrink God we offer Prayer without faith Work without passion Suffering without Hope We lose vision We fail to persevere and endure Giving up is always an option Joshua and Caleb with the other 10 Israelites (12 men go into the promised land) “10 boat sitters, 2 water walkers” 10 saw big giants Joshua and Caleb saw a Big God Israel saw a giant – David saw a Big God This same Joshua at the huge walls of Jericho They saw the walls were the height of 3-story building and 2 chariots could ride side by side on top op it. But Joshua's God was bigger than any problem he faced – His God with him was bigger than life We have One with us who says – courage - I AM don't be afraid Jeremiah 20:11 (LB) - The Lord stands beside me, like a great warrior. “I AM” a Big God who really Loves you – and cares for you. Just attending church once a week or even having a daily quite time, little bit of on and off bible reading (Will never grow a close relationship with God) Friendship with God is built by sharing all your life experiences with Him. God wants more than an appointment in your daily schedule He wants to be included in every activity, every conversation every problem. He wants us to meditate on His word (Focussed thinking). Psalm 25:14 (LB) - Friendship with God is reserved for those who reverence Him.  With them alone He shares the secrets of His promises. Once again right now is your chance of a lifetime. Decide to get out your boat and ask your Great Big, wonderful God to strengthen your faith to see Him as He is in your life. As He wants you to experience Him – The Great “I AM” – Question is: - “How Big is Your God?” How long have you been a dry boat sitter? You're saved, you know Jesus but that's all you can say. There's no real faith actions, no real growth.

Because he spoke this way, many came to believe in him. But why?As John’s Gospel continues, Jesus’ teaching remains mysterious, deep and veiled. Just like those who heard these teachings for the first time from Jesus’ own lips, we also are presented with the same teaching. It’s not just a blind choice to believe. It’s a choice based on seeing. But it’s a seeing made possible only by an interior revelation from God to which we give our assent. Thus, Jesus as the Living Water, the Bread of Life, the great I AM, the Light of the World, and the Son of the Father will only make sense to us and will only have an effect upon us when we are open to and receive the interior light of the gift of faith. Without that openness and reception, we will remain either hostile or indifferent.Reflect, today, upon the deep, veiled and mysterious language of God. When you read this language, especially in the Gospel of John, what is your reaction? Ponder your reaction carefully; and, if you find you are any less than one who has come to understand and believe, then seek the grace of faith this day so that our Lord’s words will powerfully transform your life.My mysterious Lord, Your teaching about Who You are is beyond human reason alone. It is deep, mysterious and glorious beyond all understanding. Please give me the gift of faith so that I may come to know Who You are as I ponder the richness of Your holy Word. I believe in You, dear Lord. Help my unbelief. Jesus, I trust in You.

A Christian Moral Response to the Parisian Attacks

In light of yesterday's terrorist attacks in Paris: in this Mass, we pray for the repose of the souls of our brothers and sisters who've died and for all those who're suffering tremendously at this time. Jesus' Sacred Heart is pierced by suffering humanity: for what loving Spouse would not be suffering while his Bride is experiencing intense labor pains. So too, Christ the Head suffers, because he is one with the members of His Body, the people of God here on earth.            We are thankful for the media coverage which informs us of what has happened: we need to know about what is going on in the world, we need to know the situations of our brothers and sisters suffering all over the globe, lest we ever become complacent, isolated, and far removed from them. And let us remember all the other global situations of injustice, terror, and war where there is no extensive media coverage and which we are not fully aware of. Our hearts must go out to them and we must pray and we must sacrifice in union with their suffering.             In light of these and all other forms of terrorism, what is a Christian moral response? I want to elaborate on the theme of solidarity, which must do away entirely with a tribal mentality: also known as the "us" vs. "them" mentality.            Solidarity, said simply, is the attitude of "we are ALL in this together". Contrary to Cain's objection to God: I AM my brother's keeper. I AM responsible for my brother. I AM totally invested in the ENTIRE human race. This is what Jesus teaches us, when the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity becomes totally invested in the human race: the Word becomes Flesh, there's no greater demonstration than this. Solidarity is related to the notion of collective moral responsibility. It is true; you and I are not INDIVIDUALLY responsible for these atrocious attacks in Paris. But can anyone plead complete innocence in what happened? On this Saturday, where the liturgy traditionally invites us to honor and reflect on the Blessed Virgin Mary, let's briefly talk about Mary. Mary of Nazareth is the only human person in history who never sinned. But even she needs a Savior, This is dogmatic Church teaching, even Mary needs to be redeemed by Jesus. Because she was given prevenient grace from the consequences of Original Sin, in the grace of the Immaculate Conception - But she was Immaculately Conceived, not for her own sake, but for Jesus' sake. Mary, too, needs to be saved, and her salvation simply began at the moment of her Conception. She was uniquely Baptized at her Conception...            My point about Mary is that, even Mary would experience a collective responsibility for what happened in Paris: even though, not personally responsible, Mary is collectively responsible inasmuch as she is a member of the human race and is in solidarity with suffering humanity. All the more, every one of us ought to take ownership in collective responsibility. For in an indirect way, all of us, all of our personal sins and lack of virtue has had a ripple effect on humanity. It is my sins, lack of virtue and holiness that has deprived the people around me in Kansas of the grace they deserved, and this deprivation of grace in the lives of the people of Kansas has undoubtedly deprived other people of love in their lives, which has surely deprived the perpetrators of these terrorist attacks the love they needed to avoid such terrible violence. If we were all saints, none of this would've happened... Therefore, I, Edward Ahn, AM my brother's keeper: I am collectively responsible for the sins of all. and so are you.
