We bring all the flavours for this brilliant comedian. Harriet Kemsley is an English stand-up comic, writer and actress. You'll know her from appearances on shows including Live At The Apollo, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Hypothetical and Last One Laughing. She also hosts a podcast with Amy Gledhill, Single Ladies In Your Area, which navigates the world of dating in your 30s. Harriet joins Nick and Angela to chat about her upcoming show, Floozy, which tours the UK from October, right into the start of 2027. Tickets are on sale now. There's a reason we always ask guests for their likes and dislikes, and it's showcased in this episode, because there are just one or two things Harriet can't - or won't - eat. From allergies to preferences and a hatred of big tomatoes, we learn everything about Harriet's palate before Angela serves up the perfect plate: golden aubergine with purple sprouting broccoli, honey baked feta & preserved lemon dressing, a recipe by Diana Henry. For Harriet, the feta is substituted with a vegan cheese and the pistachios are kept out of the kitchen. There's no shortage of great drinks, too, with a Crodino to start, followed by a glass of Eminence de Bijou and our first coke float for dessert, made with Booja-Booja vegan choc salted caramel ice cream. It's a total feast of an episode with the hilarious Harriet that includes tales of pet snails and the stress of having an allergic reaction on your honeymoon. Plus, we find out a sure-fire way to improve the lives of single ladies everywhere. You can watch full episodes of Dish on YouTube and on Spotify. All recipes from this podcast can be found at waitrose.com/dishrecipes The recipe for the golden aubergine with purple sprouting broccoli, was created for Waitrose by Diana Henry. See you at the bungalow, Captain!Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast.Ahead of the Premier League starting back up again, Jamie Carragher joined the team to talk about his predictions for the season. With Leeds being promoted into the league, and Liverpool reigning champions, Chris and Dom had quite a few questions for him!Harriet Kemsley was the latest comedian to come on the show and share her advice for Dom, whose performance at the Rode Comedy Festival grows worryingly closer by the week. She told Dom that one of the best ways to prepare for a comedy gig is to write material. This may sound obvious, but then again this is Dom we're talking about.Instead of ‘who are you?', this week we asked our mystery guest ‘what are you doing?'. Quite cruelly, Dom was the only one in the studio who didn't know, which made for some fun (awkward) listening. Also this week, we were introduced to Captain's girlfriend, who turned out to be a little bit older than we were expecting… Plus, Dom explained how he stays cool at home with the help of a woman named Janine!Oh, you're still reading? Erm… ok… here's some other stuff that's in the podcast this week:Chris' farts have movedDom is confronted about his weather forecasting skillsNecker Island is off the cardsEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30am - 10am
It's ok to make mistakes! Comedian Harriet Kemsley says her dyspraxia meant she learnt very early on not to take herself too seriously. In this chat with Fearne, live from The Happy Place Festival, Harriet explains how to get through the cringe part where you're really rubbish at something new, and why it builds resilience for all parts of your life.Harriet also chats about the chaos that comes with co-parenting and dating after divorce, and has the final word on that eye-roll stereotype that men don't like funny women...If you liked this episode of Happy Place, you might also like: Florence Given Joanne McNally Joel Dommett Hosted on Acast. Acceptance is the word on everybody's lips today, but it has different meanings for Elis and John. For John it's a meaningful form of accepting things as they are in life. For Elis it's about accepting that his wife Isy will never be interested in the Nations League. Both are valid, I'm sure you'll agree. Also getting in on the acceptance game is this week's special guest, Harriet Kemsley, fresh from her appearance on Last One Laughing. Her form of acceptance centres around dating, and together everyone questions whether Harriet should really be hosting a dating podcast…Elsewhere, there's a humdinger of a Cymru Connection (complete with surprise connections left, right and centre) and John tallies up the wins and losses in the second instalment of John Wins Again. If you want to get in on all the acceptance fun, get in touch via email: elisandjohn@bbc.co.uk, or WhatsApp: 07974 293 022.

Hasn't it just been such a darn week! Well ask Harriet Kemsley and she'll say it has. Her chat with Shaun featured the lows of a bad standup gig, the highs of her child baby dressed up as a spooky chicken and some profound lessons learned. Other than that, Shaun laments the loss of the landline in a short poem at the end. Like Harriet and want a bit more Kemsley? #473 Sexy Nostradamuses - Richard has returned to Winchester to help the local people through their swimming pool disaster. His guest is the delightful Harriet Kemsley. They talk about the perils of combining dyspraxia with allergies, how unusually becoming a comedian was her parents' idea, doing a roast battle with your partner, why she did a podcast about crying and Richard delves deeper into his theory that life is a simulation or possibly a dream in which none of you exist. He is not going mad though. What is about Winchester that makes Richard so skittish?Come and see RHLSTP on tour http://richardherring.com/rhlstpSUPPORT THE SHOW!Watch our TWITCH CHANNELSee extra content at our WEBSITE Become a member at https://plus.acast.com/s/rhlstp. The Drunk Women are back at their London residency, which is a joy in itself and adding to that joy, is the wonderful comedian Harriet Kemsley!Harriet starts off the show with a criminal tale from her childhood, which shows some incredible early kills at the sick burn, as well as offering sartorial advice to any potential criminal out there! The gang then grapple with a crime which was sent in by a listener - feel free to do the same, but perhaps insist on furnishing whoever elects to host that episode with all the facts, especially the basic ones.We finally get a member of the audience up on the mic to earn a bottle of cava by sharing a crime story from their lives, and it would appear that whoever the perpetrator was, they were a shoe-in as suspect. The Drunk Women are LIVE in 2023, at their London Residency in July and September at 21 Soho - for full details go to 21Soho (21-soho.com)They are also at the Ventnor Fringe on The Isle of Wight on Thursday 27th July for tickets go to - Ventnor Fringe – The Isle of Wight's multi award winning festival (vfringe.co.uk)AND at this year's Edinburgh Fringe from 4th - 13th August 2023 - Drunk Women Solving Crime | Comedy | Edinburgh Festival Fringe (edfringe.com)Support them on Patreon at patreon.com/drunkwomensolvingcrime Hosted on Acast. Jesus Christ girl, someone's got to help us pig! And this week, the superbly well-travelled Harriet Kemsley (Leeds Castle! MSG! Carcassonne!) joined us to watch (some of) deadpan crooner Father John Misty and pick over the fear/fun/pure comedy of it all several weeks later. Alongside the usual tangents into board games and tree based side projects, the real story of this ep were the real licks baby for Ivo “dog's favourite customer” Graham.
