Our emotions, however, can be our greatest assets once they are fully understood. They are the gateway to understanding our authentic selves more fully and therefore stepping into our highest sense of Divine purpose and potential. In this episode, Chelsea and special guest Hootan Ziary discuss this topic and similar ones in more detail.Hootan Ziary is a mental fitness and spiritual coach who empowers his clients with developing the three core mental muscles necessary to thrive in challenging times. There are three ways to grow revenue in a dental practice. Of the three the best way is to increase reimbursement for procedures you are already doing and/or doing for free. Medical billing has the potential for just that - it can increase reimbursement for existing procedures (medical often pays better than dental), it can help you get paid for procedures that we typically write off (because dental insurance doesn't cover or 'bundles'), and it can open whole new arenas of procedures because medical insurance will greatly reduce patient out of pocket (sleep apnea therapy, TMJ orthotics, infant lip/tongue tie, etc).In this episode, I sit down with Mr. Hootan Shahidi of Crossover Dental Enterprises, a medical billing done for your service specifically for dentists, and talk about the whys, whats, and whens of medical billing in the dental practice.--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tbonespeaks/message
On this episode, Art visits with Hootan Shahidi, founder of Crossover Dental Enterprises. This organization specializes in assisting dental offices bill dental procedures through the medical insurance policies of patients. Hootan discusses the advent of medical billing, the different procedures that can be billed using a patient's medical insurance policy, and what questions dentists should be asking their patients that could result in billing through health insurance. A very eye opening episode that can add another tool to a dental practice's tool belt.

When we started trying to do medical billing the majority of my team and dentists in our area said we didn't have a good chance of getting paid. Well, after a couple months of now using Code and getting things processed we have gotten a couple different claims paid and a bunch more in the pipeline. The standout is obviously the $5,000 check for a sleep appliance. I knew that in our office we couldn't take on more roles in office and that if we wanted to be successful we would need to team up with a third party. That's when I met Hootan and Code. I can honestly say that they have been great to work with and we wouldn't be successful without them. In this episode we talk about the nuances of medical billing, where you can get paid, and the best approach to doing it. Its super informative but only touches the iceberg. You can find out more by attending one of his conferences, dinners, or courses in Raleigh at the 3d-dentists.com. His fees are super affordable at $1,000 for initial start up and only 8% of claims actually paid. His website is Code!
